Hoping this year's nominations are better than last year's, which left a lot to be desired.
Thank you for the update, I was thinking about this recently, when the nominations were coming out, or if somehow I missed it.
And yes better nominations please. Pretty please?

Goodbye!
No need to say goodbye! We watch the same show and are going to be in the same thread. We expressed our opinions and we move on sound good? We have Mr. Novlan in common

Posting this here instead of the discussion thread, cause it mentions Tracey Bregman is back this week...I didn't know (or forgot) Lawrence Saint-Victor writes for the show?

Is it necessary to bring posts from social media about actors?...To try and validate one's opinion in an attempt to make a point? Other's opinions have no bearing on me whatsoever.

Yeah, not the best promo. Thank you, as always @Liberty City for posting.

I was thinking they are getting TOO big. Like distracting big. If that's possible?? I'm sure I'll get over it.

@Liberty City (my trusted source) I wish there was one thread about the returns for Doug's funeral...But I understand casting news breaks at separate times, and a new thread may get started. So to recap: Gloria Loring, Stephen Schnetzer, Maree Cheathem, Melissa Reeves, Matthew Ashford, Martha Madison, and Victoria Konefal. Have I missed anyone?

Thanks for the screencaps. I'm a couple days behind. So far Ashley's story is holding my attention, I'm curious where it will lead. As long as it doesn't become cartoonish. The three Ashley altars on beds talking to each other...I don't know.

@Jeff You're absolutely right about KB's status with the show. It was widely known that KB signed a contract that kept her on until early 2024. It's absolutely plausible that B&B let her contract expire with no guarantee that she would be back. In fact, they may have told her Sheila is done. Even if they said that, do I believe there was a 'Sheila's dead. wink-wink'? Definitely.
Sheila being alive certainly generated almost 500 comments on TVLine - that is so far beyond the normal commentary, it's crazy! Honestly, I never believed a soap character could generate that kind of commentary there - especially from B&B. The Halloween tribute episode was one of B&B's highest rated of 2022. Like it or not, Sheila is important to B&B.
Honestly, homicidal Sheila never made sense. Sh*tstirrer Sheila is what people loved to watch. Bring that character back, please.
Thank you, I appreciate your commentary.

Watching B&B can be hazardous to your health.
Yes...And I am sorry if I offended you any way.

Well just as you can decide to take it that way - light and just escapism, it's our right to express how WE feel and I ABSOLUTELY get why some may wish cancellation. Imagine seeing your favorite show more and more in ruins, yeah I would also say that if it doesn't get any better - it's better cancelled. Also this is a board for soap opera fans and discussions, this is the exact place to get DEEPER into discussion and analysis. I think light and escapism are welcomed, so should be - serious takes and very critical ones. But also think it's quite obvious NONE of us are taking the show seriously and we are just giving our two cents and having fun predicting the next bizarre move.
I am just not going to just sit and say - ok, as a rape survivor this storyline doesn't trigger or offend me and I am also not going to NOT call a CHEAP lie a CHEAP predictable LIE. It's one thing showbusiness - We all know about it. The other is to pull these cheap trick-lies time after time, as if you are some circus performer. If a favorite actor of mine, I am not saying even KB, is acting bizarre after saying Goodbye to a show, it's my right to point it out. And yes - we were right from the first second, so who is laughing last?
I would have LOVED if they had done this LIE? in a more amazing, greatly written way - yes, showbusiness has lies, but these LIES need to at least be convincing. If they had done it convincingly and with a proper build up, I wouldn't have even needed Kimberlin to confirm she is gone. Our problem from the get go was that this was a bad, cheap lie. Very apparent, kinda childish and making the actor look like they are taking part in the showrunner's kindergarten plays.
And just as I have to live with people who think this show is now amaaaaazing.... I guess people can tolerate my skepticism. Right?
So, yeah, I second the cancellation remark and this is something I have wished for a long time now. And I am not going to get the - well don't watch if you don't like it - route. I choose what to watch and can wish cancellation on something I deem of an absurdly bad quality.
Sorry, my post wasn't directed to anyone here. I had just gotten off social media, my post was in general, I should have clarified that. Although, I don't recall you saying you wished the show was cancelled. I have seen you advocate for a better head writer--THIS we can ALL agree on.
You and I are 10. Oops I mean 100.

So what if Kimberlin and Brad "lied", it's called show business. For all we know KB is not back, today's episode just leaves the possibility open. I think people need to lighten up. B&B is my escapism, I don't take a fictional show that seriously. People wishing the show cancelled...really?
