I did go back to last month's Y&R/B&B monthly spoiler thread and read your detailed analysis of the CBS soaps promos, thank you by the way. I am still mystified by the whole thing.

I believe this was the week of the Nikki/Jordan showdown. Is CZ done? She brought much needed life to the show. And yeah, Eric's death story ends and the ratings are up LOL.

ALL THIS. Yes, we had a few scenes with Finn & Hope a few months ago where they bonded, I guess. But as with almost every other story, Finn's animosity toward Thomas is out of left field, no build up (other than Xander coming back to drop the Emma bombshell). Steffy has asked Finn to support his brother-in-law, but he would rather be Hope's hero, another stupid angst story for SINN. @dragonflies And as usual, everybody is up in Thope's business 🙄

I mean I don't see SB's appeal...but he's been on 3 of the 4 remaining soaps?? He's like a daytime darling (ala Heather Tom) I don't get. I mean that's cool for his fans. All that is left is B&B...As @Khan mentioned in another thread he could play Deacon/Sean Kanan's brother <sarcasm> 😉

Not a big loss. Harris can go, I never felt a connection to the character. I do wish Steve Burton all the best.

I think that is the point to show the numbers during 2020, the height of covid, when production was at a halt, and weren't we only getting only a couple new episodes a week. The comparison shows how the soaps have rebounded (or not as the case may be) since the pandemic.

Thursday, December 21: Steffy worries that she made the wrong decision. Finn and Bridget present an option that puts Ridge in an untenable position. Friday, December 22: As Eric lies unconscious and unable to breathe on his own, Steffy, Ridge, Brooke, Finn, and Bridget discuss his wishes and lovingly recall lovely memories with their family patriarch. I notice each year, JMW has thanked her co-stars in the stories she was involved with, that earned her the Emmy. In the past it was Scott Clifton or Don Diamont. This year she thanked Kimberlin, and Tanner Novlan. The idea being she shares the award with her peers involved in the story that earned her the Emmy. I think it is classy.
