Speaking for myself: I don’t hate JM. I think when he puts in an effort, like in those argument scenes with Chelsea early last year, he can be compelling. He still looks decent. But he half-asses it 90% of the time, as does AH. And the writers don’t seem that inspired by him, even though they showcase him.

Yeah, the sickly sweet Traci is simply to create a stark contrast from her squabbling sibs as a plot contrivance when she’s in town. She had way more layers when she was written for full time and had romances back in the ‘80s and ‘90s. But she was also then written by Bill Bell, the master who created her, not Josh Griffith.
