My biggest advice to JG would be: SHOW, DON'T TELL. He spent months having characters tell us this guy was Ruthless and sooooo scary. It's lazy writing. It's supposed to give him insta-vet status so we understand that he's Victor level because we were TOLD. Why not portray some nuances and let us decide for ourselves?

    Huge problem with this show.

If soaps were to come back I'd want them in daytime not primetime.

I just think we’re more likely to get quality products with primetime (or streaming) versions. Fewer content restrictions, better production values, more progressive stories, etc. I get that the soap aesthetics and daily immersions are very comforting.

Ok, I was trying to remember when OF started. These past few years are a blur. But certainly he could have gotten besotted with some cam performer. They probably didn’t want to go that deep lol. The blue hairs would flip.

They had really strong chemistry, but I was put off by the professor-student thing. I always found that whole thing icky in college -- it's a personal bias on my part.

Oh it’s definitely a bit creepy and should provoke some ambivalence. The key, of course, is to be upfront about it and not act as if the professor/student relationship is some uncomplicated, carefree romance we should all root for, which is difficult for soaps.

We also got Colleen's romance with her 30-something professor which was a NO for me. Not that he wasn't cute, but the power dynamics alone...

I thought AL and the super-hot Eyal Podell had major chemistry. I don’t remember the story very well (or at least how it ended), but I’m trying to remember how they handled the power dynamics between Colleen and Korbel.
