^ I thought Erica in a phantom of the opera mask was over the top, but I absolutely LOVED Erica and David. They were split up so Erica could be single when she dealt with Bianca coming out, and VI/SL had been told they'd be put back together afterward, but it didn't happen. I think that was a huge mistake by AMC - Erica and David had such amazing chemistry, and it still bothers me that it was trashed so David could obsess over Dixie Martin. What a waste.

Concur. Love Phantom Erica. I like that we never saw her face when David would take her mask off and dress her wounds. There was a sense of mystery there.

XFactor would have definitely resurrected her career. I think XFactor needed her just as much.

I just didn't care for JHud's interpretation of the song. It's a simple song, and it should be sung straight.

That song doesn't really have much range, so her voice damage wasn't really apparent.

Amber Riley just did an amazing (a beautiful) cover of IWALY on Glee. It was a coincidence as the episode was taped months ago.

Especially after they just killed Babe, and basically gave all her storylines and familiar relationships to a less trained/seasoned actress. Love or hate Amanda Baker, but she was Meryl Streep in comparison to Britanny Allen.

Glee is like the GH of primetime. Every season they produce a "stunt" episode for their Emmy reel. Last night's Michael Jackson episode had Emmy written all over it.

In some of the episodes when the bigots who beat up Terence are being prosecuted, there's a brunette Galen, I think. Wasn't Galen a prosecutor?

The Terrence beating was I believe 1991. That was the episode that won All My Children its first Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series. I don't remember a brunette Galen, but maybe I'm wrong.

ETA: I just checked IMDB and you're right. Karen Person was Galen #2. It's all coming back to me. The first Galen left really abruptly. Wasn't she married to Tom Eplin?

I only remember one Galen. Was there another one? This blond one is the one that eventually left town with Stephen Hamill.

I think these big events mostly worked when there was a good reason for them.

Most of the "big" events in the last 3 years were at ConFusion. The extra special events, like the Dance Marathon, were held at the Fusion offices.
