  1. Ahh the memories. I love this show.
  2. Happy 48th Birthday, All My Children!
  3. It's interesting to hear some of the characters, including Erica, refer to Pine Valley as "The Valley."
  4. Where are you watching the 1984 episodes? Is the whole year on YouTube?
  5. I see more chemistry between DJ and Matt than I do with DJ and Steve. DJ and Steve seem forced to me; there are no more flames there.
  6. Such a healthy show back then! This is right before the Who Killed Will storyline.
  7. I'm sure Mark Teschner remembers her....NOT.
  8. Susan Lucci is in Sia's new music video, Santa's Coming For Us, alongside Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard, and The Fonz!
  9. I always felt that the show missed an opportunity to bring Paul back. Outside of Tad and his brood, the show was lacking in Martins, and Paul (and maybe his new wife and kids/grandkids) would've been an easy way to beef up that core family.
  10. Great cast during this time.
  11. When I watched the promo, I thought for sure it was Lindsay Hartley playing Cristal.
  12. Highway 154 is one of the most dangerous highways in the state. Driving while intoxicated on that road is stupid.
  13. I agree. Season 3 for me is mostly filler until the mid-season finale. The episode with Jackson taking his final exam was strange, as if there was a scene that was cut out for time. I thought maybe he had cheated on his test by copying off someone else, since his answers were one off.
  14. Sadly, Fran's IMDb profile doesn't list Loving among her credentials. Good for her for getting her Primetime Emmy for Handmaid's Tale. You go grandma!
  15. Susan Lucci is HYSTERICAL in this episode. LOVE IT!
  16. ^ Wow, great promo. Love seeing a young Erica.
  17. I believe this is the episode that AMC submitted for Emmy consideration. They won that year -- the show's first for drama series.
  18. I wasn't a regular viewer of the show, but I'm curious about how it went. Apparently it started early this morning at 8am. I think it took place at a Dave & Buster's at Hollywood and Highland.
  19. This is a fun Q&A with Susan Lucci on the campus of UCLA, circa 1983. Audio only.
  20. I love how the host told viewers that if they wanted a copy of the diet they could send a self-addressed stamped envelope. I mean, why couldn't they just post it online? Edited to add: I just purchase 2 cans of sardines.
  21. Loved this interview. Thanks for sharing! Manufactured? Susan Lucci's charisma made her and continues to make her a star. You can't manufacture charisma.
  22. I liked the character of Gloria. Teresa Blake had chemistry with a lot of actors on the canvas and she was able to hold her own in scenes with David Canary. I agree that after 1995, she kind of floated around and didn't have a real purpose. I still wonder about Teresa Blake; she just fell off the face of the earth.
  23. ^ I really liked this period of time. Dixie was a whore and Gloria was a hot mess. Actually Gloria was a whore and Dixie was a hot mess.
  24. ^ Eat what you want diet.
  25. It was more of a "Oooooo wow, another one." I remember watching this live. Goodness this was a long time ago.
