A movie franchise is a smart approach because it lets the show leverage star power on an ad hoc basis without requiring a long-term series commitment. For example, Kelly and Mark could participate in one movie, Susan in another, Debbi Morgan in another. You could also imagine one-off participation from actors like Josh Duhamel, Michael B. Jordan, Amanda Seyfried, or Sarah Michelle Gellar. Yes, these are reach goals—but availability is far more realistic for a movie franchise than for a series.

I didn't interpret that dinner as something that was recent, but in the past prior to the estrangement. I was wondering if Susan would write about her current relationship with Liza, but she probably didn't include it in the book.

She also talked about their early All My Children days on Jimmy Fallon. I can't find the interview clip at the moment but she spoke fondly of her time on the show (and didn't trash McTavish like she did on CBS Sunday Morning lol).

She attempted to star in her own biopic based on "Raising Kane" but Erica was a terrible actress. I vaguely recall the clip where she was on set acting out a scene and it was comically disastrous 😂

This was my favorite of Erica's houses. You're right. Lots of detail. It also just felt like a house you would find in a community like Pine Valley. I didn't like the home sets towards the end of the show's run where it was too cosmopolitan. That didn't feel like Pine Valley.

Great music! On another note, I like how Vanessa and Leo were integrated onto the canvas. They fit right in and breathed new life into the show. I wish they had stayed longer.

She was a scapegoat for low-ish ratings. I think this is around the time that Frons was assuming control and wanted his own people, which is how Julie Carruthers got the job. Julie was an outsider and not homegrown like Felicia Behr, Francesca James, or Burke.
