Re: Skye. I like her...well, that's not true. I LIKE Robin Christopher. I LIKE Skye's relationships with Monica, and Tracy, and Jax...although her 'feud' with Tracy either needs to end or needs new fuel besides Luke. She makes a pretty coupling with Lorenzo...but both characters have the personalities of dishwater. Capable actors, but when you get down to it, no real core family relationships, no friends, no business interests, no hobbies (well, Skye occasionally has alcoholism...that's always a fun hobby, and Lorenzo has backgammon, and stalking), and pretty well zero quirks, and rather undefined motivations.

I am only going by transcript/live recaps,but Luke's "sudden" change of mood...that's been a staple of the "Lacy" relationship since day one.

They'll have a "close" day,like those during the epidemic,and Friday...and then,back to the same old,same old,which is why we get so frustrated here in this thread.

I think Skye and Lo having the baby is going to change that though....based on spoilers.

Only problem is,the woman Luke will be spending time with for May sweeps isn't Tracy.

So,more going around in circles,maybe? Hope not.

I'm at the point where I enjoy them...but the back and forth stuff is gettin' tired.

I fault the writers...who apparently don't know how to build suspense,and instead just keep giving us the same old reheated tired stuff,day after day.

The only reason Lacy is watchable,is JE/TG and their chemistry.

IT certainly isn't the stupid lame plot points,nor the supporting characters in the little story.

For what it's worth,I do think the scene between them on Friday was genuine...and I do think that underneath it,at first Luke used Tracy as a shield because he was afraid to commit to Skye.

I think now though...that he (and she)have gotten used to each other,fond of each other,and I think they care for one another.

Will they ever be "in love"?

I want them to be...because Tracy has never,and if not with Luke,probably will never,have someone who will accept her like he does,and even love her.

But will GAP write it that way?

I don't know.

I think Friday,maybe one of them,or both,started out thinking it was a little game,but it didn't end that way.

I do think the scene was genuine.

I hope it leads somewhere.

Thanks to Ms.Q I also sometimes check out SD for TQ spoilers...now I don't think anyone except Wizard is reliable,but I'll post what I found:

-Tracy tells Luke make a profit or she's selling the HS ( I think we'd already heard Luke would be re-opening it...but I don't know why he'd want to,I thought he hated it now,and besides,what about the MetroCourt?) I hate how GH just starts and drops plots these days...BTW I think that one was from RMT ,who may or may not be reliable?

It also says Luke tries rekindling things with SKye.

WHY??? UGH.

Wizard says that Lulu will try the week of the 20th,during which there's some Gala(the re-opening of the HS?) to get Luke/Skye back together. Again,butt out Lulu. Go play with the teens so I don't have to see your face or hear your voice. HATE that chick. Such a buttinsky.

Have you wondered why the creators of the disease cannot seem to find a cure, but the doctors at GH could? Is this poor writing? Well, you cannot blame us for thinking that...however, the real deal is that the cure the hospital came up with is temporary...and the effects of the virus are longer lasting and "personality" driven.

You know,my only problem with Skye/Luke is that Luke should have dumped HER.

I don't like that it's the other way around. I also don't like to think Tracy's a consolation prize..when actually,she's the GRAND prize.

I loved Luke's reaction to being caught as well.

Maybe they were both playing each other at the very beginning,but at the end the guilty looks and awkwardness tells me it got a little more serious than they thought it would.

About the peanuts....I think Tracy was definitely nervous about SOMETHING.

It was funny...but the funniest part of the whole show,the part where I actually LOL'd,was when GQ were in the room before the "AR" flashbacks....and TG had a mouth full of peanuts and had to say," she can't get enough of me," and laughed at the same time,and you could hardly understand what he said,but the mouth full of peanuts and laughing at the same time AND trying to talk,just sent me over the edge for some reason.

It was dumb,but in an amusing way.

I liked that Tracy had on a new outfit,but JE has a figure. WHY do they dress her in stuff like that?

Although that outfit was better than the robes I guess.

About the spoilers...I'm going to feel sorry for Luke.

Tracy has made me like him,and even though I'm not at all sorry Skuke is ending(rooting for that,as a matter of fact),I won't look forward to the actual scenes.

I think I love Tracy too much to write for her,too....but I'm going to give it a shot.

The thing is,when I was younger I practiced creative writing all the time....but as I got older I got out of the habit,and I haven't actually wrote anything in a loonnnggg time.

I just created a community on LiveJournal. It's called The Tracy Quartermaine Fake Spoiler Ficathon. I've set it up that members and non-members can post, and will get the whole thing together asap. LJ accounts cost nothing to set up (although you can have a paid account with extra features if you want.) I'm going to try to set it up that you don't absolutely have to be on LJ to participate.

What I'd like to do is gather together a list of all the Tracy spoilers we can find and post it to the community, so people can pick the ones they like. Personally, I think if more than one person wants to write about a specific spoiler, it should be allowed, because no two people can write the same story.

Any suggestions?

Nope,not at the moment,I think as we go along I might think of something.

For spoilers, the one I am using is the one that says "Tracy and Luke have an adventure of their own coming up",which really wasn't that long ago and who knows,may still come to pass. And I agree,we can use the same spoiler,our stories will still be different.

There's also the one about them talking about what "might have been" when they were younger,which also may still come to pass.

And I hope that one does.

There was one that has Luke overhearing Tracy confessing how she feels about him.

There was a stupid one from SD that says Tracy shoots Luke,or shoots Skye,LOL it was so dumb I can't remember exactly.

There was one that said "Luke chooses Tracy," which has come to pass in a way...Luke has refused to divorce her to be with Skye,but I don't think that's what the person meant.

There are several more I'd have to dig up.

I know Ms.Q can think of a few.

Ms.Q don't forget that when TG went on his loonnngg break from the end of July to the first week in October...ten long weeks...JE was on what,twice,for about fifteen total minutes of airtime.

I have my spoiler....just trying to work out the story in my mind.

I am going to try and remain positive that TIIC will wake up about JE...and soon. I'm just grateful I even get to see her at all,and I'm trying my best to just focus on that.

It could be a whole lot worse,maybe with JI coming back,there will be more Tracy/Edward scenes,which is always a blessing.

I am clueless when it comes to that stuff...I guess that would be okay,I mean we have to post the results somewhere...unless ya'll just want to post them in here,it doesn't really matter I don't guess.

Ms.Q I think you should go with whatever you feel your strength is.

Some people aren't good at,or naturals at,description.

Some people should stay away from first person narratives,and so on....I don't think there's anything wrong with making dialogue the meat of your stories.

Dialogue is what soaps are mostly comprised of,it's what tells the relationships more than anything IMO.

I once read one of the "Fletch" series, and the whole book was mostly all dialogue.

Unusual,but I loved it.

Like I said,go with your strength.

About the spoilers...I'm frustrated and sad,too.

About the new ones...so many things get cut,I'm just not going to get too overjoyed about anything until it comes to pass.

It may take me a while to pick a spoiler,but hopefully not too long to write the story.

I think some people who hate Tracy aren't jealous. They're just full of hate and Tracy is an outlet for that hate.

The reason I say that, is a lot of Tracy haters online seem to just plain be full of venom themselves.

Just an observation.

I do think the Luke/Holly/Robert triangle will be brief. I don't think ES will be back for more than three weeks.

However,ES or no ES,I can see Guza finding ways to keep Luke busy that have nothing to do with Tracy.

Which is just sad,and I hope I'm wrong.

I have never posted any Tracy/Luke fics. I don't know if I can be objective about TRacy. I tend to see her in the most positive light,even when she's being horrible.

But since it's fic,who says I have to be objective?

I would have to find one that really inspires me,though.

I got upset when I read that too...and Guza's a big fat idiot.

I think I'm more frustrated and upset than mad.

The only bright spot in all this...is that ES has already said her home,with her husband and children,is in England,and that any return she might make would be temp/short term only.

Of course,she's coming back for a second time already...LOL,and I've watched enough to know that if they wave enough money under her nose...I mean,look at Billy Warlock,who swore he'd bag groceries before he came back to GH.

He came back,and he admitted it was for the money.

Now ES's situation is a little different...she has other people to consider.

But if she changed her mind,if they offered her a contract,I could see her giving in.

But ultimately I think HOlly loves Robert only.
