EYEW! Skye as Tracy's daughter? You are so kidding me. Not a chance. OTOH, Ned not being Tracy's actual son could be fun, especially since JE and Wally Kurth have already played lovers on another show. There's just that freaky undertone between them that amuses the hell out of me every time they're together on screen. But then, I'm a freak.....

Oh, not just me. My girlfriend thinks that Tracy and Coleman are the hawtest couple who ever lived. I mean seriously. She would love ya'll forever.

Yep that's how I feel about Skye being Tracy's daughter,too.

Uh,a big fat NO to that.

NO to Ned not being Tracy's son...now they could think he wasn't for a while,that would be interesting.

But ultimately he'd have to be her baby.

And Coleman/Tracy? Not nearly given a chance.

In fact,most days I think that in terms of how he'd treat her, Coleman is a much better match than Luke.

Coleman may be sleazy but I feel he'd treasure someone like Tracy,ultimately,after they got to know one another.

I remember that Ned spec/rumor Ms.Q and yes that would make an awesome fan fic.

I don't think I've ever heard them called "Trena." Tralena,Helacy,LOL...but not Trena,but I actually like that name best.

All kinds of possibilities. Can you imagine Coleman finding out/thinking the baby is his,and PROPOSING??

More than one fan has speculated they might have turned out to be secret mother/daughter ...with better writers.

One fan fic has Stefan Cassadine,one of Helena's sons,as Edward's son,making Helena the mother of one of Tracy's brothers.

Helena's famous for brainwashing,she did it to Lucky once,and I could see her doing it again,to Tracy or anyone else unlucky enough to incur her wrath.

I don't like the mother/daughter idea myself.

I HATE it when even fan fics seriously jack with the characters history.

Yesterday on SZ people kept saying Ned should be de-Q'd so Skye could be RE-Q'd. Uh,NO. Never. They were wanting Skye to be Tracy's kid and Ned to be...well,NOT a Quartermaine.

Leave my Ned alone,vultures.

I hated the whole Tracy/Helena "alliance",thought it was stupid and contrived and just generally made me ill.

Not to mention it was just one more way to make Tracy look "EEVVILLLLL", AND I say no thank you to that.

I wouldn't mind a story where they are on opposite sides,which is where they should be.

But Tracy should have never been written as willingly going along with Helena for any reason,especially something as dumb as breaking up Nikolas and Emily...when in all likelihood,even if he is a Cassadine,Tracy wouldn't really care too much.

MinervaFan if you've watched every day since January,you should have seen Helena briefly torture Courtney.

Did you miss those few shows?

She isn't around much anyway,although rumor is she'll be back soon,though I have no idea what the story will be.

It does sound like it could happen,but the ripping would have to be bad,for Tracy to break down.

She's developed a pretty thick tough skin over the years.

And Luke already knows most if not all of her faults,so why she'd tell him something he already knows...LOL

Last year he came back the last week in April. That's all I remember.

I don't remember when he left or how long he was gone,because until he was in Tracy's story,I didn't pay much attention to him,really.

I'd like Lacy to make it past their one year. As long as what I stated up above that I wanted,happens.

If it's going to continue like this,blech.

Luke and the gun--he shot it straight up in the air. There was no doubt in my mind at all that he had no intention at all of hitting anyone, just shutting them up (and maybe scaring them).

I tend to think this is ALL Luke's reaction to Skye's pregnancy. I think his feelings for Tracy are, to say the least, conflicted. He enjoys her, he hates her, he lusts after her, he loathes her.... Unlike Skye, who pretty much had one thing to offer Luke (pretty--face, body, personality--all pretty), Tracy is a much more complicated commodity. I don't think he knows what to do with her, and when he's hungover and worried, he tends to go with the basic plan--shoot, shout, and shut her out.

I'd love to see more Ned on the show, and I hope the return of JI as Edward will facilitate that. I'd love to see a scene where he advises Dillon on surviving Mom's Matrimonial Assistance.

Also, the birthday surprise--I don't think it will be a divorce. No way is Luke going to hand her $15 million for her birthday, even if she hands him the Haunted Star on a silver platter. Of course, I can see him getting her something nice from Hedy Hoffstedder's House of Exotic Lingerie.....

I pretty much agree with your assessment about Luke.

But it wasn't the shooting the gun in the air that ticked me off.

It was when he pointed it at her and ordered her to leave or he'd add lead to her inventory,basically saying he'd shoot her.

I don't know...I don't doubt for a minute that he would've at least fired in their direction if she hadn't moved.

Even if he wouldn't have,the fact that he threatened to is enough to make me not so happy with him right now.

And I guess I'm just tired of their little merry go round.

See you've been watching since early this year,we've been dealing with Lacy issues since last April...almost a year,and while I think they have grown closer...there's not nearly enough bonding to warrant the story continuing IMO.

They should set boundaries,and show the audience the boundaries,so that Tracy fans know what to expect.

With Lacy I never know what to expect.

I mean yes their relationship is sick and twisted..which a lot of people don't mind.

But I'd like a little more normalcy,at least in the sense,where we don't have to wonder if a birthday surprise is a divorce.

I don't think that's too much to ask,but maybe it is......

And I still hate Lulu...and I know it's wrong,but I was rooting for her to shoot herself accidentally when the gun went off.

I still say the "spoiler" for Tracy's birthday might be a divorce,or divorce papers,or separation papers,and I still say that was the legal matter Luke was talking to Alexis about,and NOT the money.

Because why would Luke go to the trouble of hiring a lawyer over the $60 thousand?

That first of all is so not Luke.

And secondly, if he were going to do that,why ask Nik to "lose" the money instead,so he could pay Tracy off?

Why not just do that in the first place,instead of consulting Alexis over it,which makes me think the "embezzlement" was about Helena's money,being put into Tracy's account last year.

OF course I only watched the last fifteen minutes of Monday,so if I'd seen the Alexis/Luke and later A/L/Tracy conversation later,I might have a different opinion.

I'm following the live recaps on another board and next thing I know Tracy comes in to do inventory cause she wants to sell the Star,and Luke(probably still drunk) fires a gun into the ceiling when Tracy and Lulu get into a fight,and orders Tracy off the boat.

Cause it seems to me they've got some hate going right now.

I do think there was a brief mention from Luke earlier,to Tracy,that she was doing all this(selling the boat) to get him to come home,so apparently he hasn't spent any time at the Q's since reclaiming the boat.

I'm still scratching my head over him getting interested in the boat again anyway.

I distinctly remember him saying he regretted seeing it again,much less opening the casino.

Well I didn't see the preview...but my guess is she's talking to Luke,although honestly I like your scenario better.

BTW my idea for the "adventure" story that I decided not to write was a lot like yours,only the plane WAS sabotaged,and it was the ELQ jet and no survivors but Luke and Tracy,the main difference being they were going to the Dominican Republic for a quickie divorce,and after the plane crashed they had to battle not only the elements and each other but also Helena,who had paid off the pilot to take them to a hideout of hers instead.

But yeah...I wanted to keep it simple,and that being the only story I could come up with,there was no way I could think of to keep that simple,so I gave up.

I give up too easily,and if I have the time in the future I may write that story yet.

I don't mind the idea of a divorce, if they find a way to keep Luke and Tracy in each other's spheres, maybe with the HS? It could lead to a new, exciting turn in the relationship. Imagine all the squeeing when Luke calls Tracy his wife even after a divorce. They would need to put us all in a soundproof room.

I hate the games. I would much rather see them on the same side battling a common enemy like Helena.

I think a little harmless game playing every now and again, is okay.

I also think the writing is always unfairly slanted to make Luke look like the good guy,even when he's not:re: Coleman.

I've gotten kinda lax in submitting reviews for stories which I need to catch up on,I have loved everything I've read in recent memory...TQ's a hard character to pin down and write for but I think most people here on this board have her "voice".

I like that they're bothering with the birthday thing(I think we can trust Wizard),but Tracy's b-day is actually late July or August,because waayyy back in the day,when she dated that David whatshisname she was accused of killing,I remember a brief discussion where they talked about her birthday and how she fell under the sign Leo (the LION) ,which would put her as a summer baby.

Guess I won't nitpick about such a little detail though.

I just hope the "surprise" isn't her waking up and finding him gone...isn't TG taking another break soon?
