Ya know....I always love JE/Tracy.

But I was just thinking yesterday how back in the day, say 89-93,and even on The City, how I would rush home to watch my tapes.

And I wondered what changed,how there are tapes from months ago that I haven't even watched.

I realized part of it is the internet,watching clips is just as good.

Also,reading recaps and transcripts,sadly,I pretty much get the gist of it,and sometimes don't even feel the need to watch the awesome Ms.Elliot,if her particular scenes for that day have been picked over and scrutinized by message boards.

Hmm.

I mean,I haven't even watched the last two weeks.

Now,granted,I haven't really had the chance....but then I haven't really wanted to,either.

I guess it's like what smirkssaid, this is no layers GH.

We have to GUESS about whether or not characters have a life because if it isn't seen,it isn't talked about.

Looking forward to today's eppy although it will be this weekend before I could possibly watch.

That would make sense,if this person is also after Lo and Sonny/their territory.

What does anyone else think about that?

The story is getting really good....I wasn't expecting that dream in the last chapter at all.

Also,does everyone know the one about Luke,that the doctors are doing a plasma extraction and his heart seizes on the operating table?

Could be some good angsty moments for our girl there,too.

As far as the shoulder to cry on,my guess is Tracy at first is crying over Luke,and maybe Dillon is the shoulder,then when Dillon falls ill,maybe Georgie? Or LUCAS,even? Hmm..though I doubt that one. Monica or Bobbie,but most likely Georgie. Could be Lorenzo,though. There's a thought.....

I hope JE isn't going to recurring. I'm trying to believe that's a hateful rumor.

I doubt Skye will know that soon that she is pregnant,unless she's been keeping it quiet and it's Luke's.

I don't really care for Skye too much...but that's not the main reason why.

I'm sick of seeing characters destroyed...their personalities played with...their history jacked with...and on and on.

Tracy would NEVER have cheated on Luke with Coleman before GaP.

Even if she didn't love him.

And Tracy I don't believe,would ever try to pass off a child as her own,as a Quartermaine,if that child wasn't one.

She's always telling Skye and Emily they aren't really Q's.

I doubt she'd tell her father Ned WAS one, if he wasn't.

It just wouldn't be in character.

Tracy also has already said she wasn't in on Edward's decision to sell Skye on the black market.

You'd think,if that were her kid and she knew it,that she'd keep closer tabs than that.

But yeah....I'm tired of the "let's make X character do this" to fit plot points,when the things they have the characters doing are just not "in" character.

Tracy/Skye as mother daughter(and I'm not spoiling it since it's just a stupid rumor) would merely be a plot device for Luke/Tracy/Skye to cause more angst,and I really don't see the point.

The characters provide their OWN conflict,without rewriting history.

LOL Those Tracy/Skye rumors have been around for a couple of years now.

Ms.Q I doubt that Dillon gets the fever,although I have heard he may propose.

If he does get the fever...don't count on ANY Tracy/Dillon bedside scenes.

I hate to sound bitter but experience with GaP has made me wise.

They care about the Corinthii and the Spencers.

You'd have a better chance getting a Luke/Dillon or even Lulu/Dillon scene out of that than Tracy/Dillon.

If Dillon gets sick I imagine it'll be mostly Georgie/Dillon.

Hmm...after I read yesterday's transcript,I have to say,as usual,that people on the net (okay,some people) are blowing what was said waayy out of proportion.

It just didn't sound that bad to me..in fact,it sounded more like Tracy was taking offense to Lucas being a Spencer,than anything else.

I think Tracy's had enough of them...and with good reason.

Of course I'm sure JE played it with the proper amount of disdain...but just going by the words that were said,it could have been a lot worse.

I remember when Coleman/Luke did the switch in bed thing last June,and people were calling it a rape.

I love Tracy,but even I wouldn't go that far.

It just stuns me how something on this show can get people so riled up,and I watch it,or read the transcript,and I'm like "THAT'S what's got people so ticked?"

So I guess I just have the opposite reactions of most people online.

And about Bobbie's remarks...eh,I understand defending your kid...but where does she get that Tracy's "charade" of a marriage is making a joke out of LUKE???

The things Tracy could tell her about her darling brother.....

And the kids? I'm so over them.

The only one of them who has a right to really want to nail Tracy to the wall is Georgie.

And that should have been done.

They should have trapped those two together and let them hash it out almost two years ago.

If Luke really becomes ill himself,(he could be one of the L's,and Lulu the other...although I heard it was Lucky too,so isn't that three? Unless one of them doesn't get sick....

Then maybe,if Luke is ill,this is when Tracy admits her feelings(remember that rumor from a while back?)

And maybe Luke is delirious and tells her the same.

I could see it playing that way, and Luke thinks Skye is abandoning him,when really Skye is ill(due to the virus,or is she pregnant?)

I also could see Luke choosing Tracy mainly because he thinks Skye is abandoning him.

Because they gotta crap on our girl every chance they get,don't ya know?

I HOPE it's not that way, mainly because I'm getting tired of the constant games and a little true emotion could really rev the story up right now.

I have heard the rumor that Skye (again) tells Luke they're through.

And another that says, Luke chooses Tracy.

It's not much of a choice if Tracy is the only one giving Luke the time of day.

If Luke/Tracy are going to be together,I'd rather they were both together because they wanted to be,otherwise I'd just rather see Tracy alone or with someone else.

I really don't want,or need,Tracy pining over Luke endlessly,while Luke pines over Skye.

SZ and SOC is reporting that SD(LOL....see how the rumor mill grinds) is saying that Helena is responsible for the "flu" during Feb sweeps,and Luke/Robert/Tracy set Helena up,it backfires,and Tracy is almost killed,which causes Luke to admit his feelings. It also says Edward dies.

I'd love this to be true,although I don't want Ed to die but honestly they should have killed him off two years ago.

Sadly I didn't think the two seconds of airtime would be worth watching the BL clips,and figured the dissing of WK would just make me mad...so I skipped them.

Well,that's not the only reason I skipped her scenes but it's the most important ones.

About ALan: I'm glad too that he stood by Tracy,but it's because he wants Luke out,and I hope he doesn't double cross Tracy in the end,because we all know she doesn't want "Lukey" to go to jail.

I liked how Tracy was speechless when Skye accused her of being in love with Luke.

SD...I don't know whether to believe them or not.

They have spoilered other things coming true but in different ways than they actually played out,so who knows?

TK resigned,of course he's been almost non-existent since he did so and he can't be happy.

I watched the Q clips on NQ....saw JE's two minutes of airtime. I may really get to like this way of viewing.

Now I know not to waste my tape to tape today's show.

It's kinda cool.

I think everyone involved is wrong. Luke and Co. were wrong for drumming up the plot.

Tracy is wrong for faking her death.

The difference is,people in town will chastise Tracy for being cruel for what she did...while the others won't be.

At least,that's how it's always been in the past.

So,that's why I don't jump on the "Tracy is evil" bandwagon like everyone else does.

That,plus I love her.

But seriously...we'll have Dillon saying Tracy is deadtohim,Skye and Lulu plotting,and everyone saying what a horrible person Tracy is.

But nothing,nothing of any substance,anyway...will be said to or about Luke,Skye,Lulu,Georgie(although Mac might say something to her),Dillon or Alice.

Alice should be justifiably fired for her part in it.

And Alan should berate Skye.

If we see any of those things happening,I'll be surprised.

But you can bet your boots we'll see people going on about how horrible Tracy is,when in truth all she's doing is giving them a taste of their own medicine.

I'll be surprised also if they allow Tracy to have a voice and tell off Dillon.

Seriously when she made that smirky face on NYE when she and Luke left the Q's party to go to the MetroCourt,I wanted to slap her. The fact that she told Alice to get rid of any evidence that might convict Luke,pushed me over the edge.

Lulu....I wish we'd see something different from the usual stepmother/stepdaughter rivalry.

Ms.Q I feel that way about Tracy too. I understand how viewers and maybe even the writers might believe Tracy "deserves" this or that,but I can't condone the "free pass" given to the people doing the deeds.

Tracy doesn't get a free pass( okay legally she might,but not in terms of relationships).

So why should they? I don't like that,and I think that's most of what makes me hate this stupid show.

Characters like Tracy and Durant for example are eevvillll...and those opposing them are not,even if those opposing them do the same,or worse.

BTW "Beautiful Disaster" on FanFic.Net is updated.

It's sad...that it is fan fic written by a teen...and it's much better than the real GH.

She certainly does a much better job of writing Tracy/Luke the way they should be.

Hmm...this is my spec about the crash. Tracy really did wreck. When she hit the water she realized she really might die. She decided,heck if I'm gonna die, Luke is going down. So she strapped the canister in the seat and broke the window to get out,instead of opening the door,which would have filled the car with water,possibly drowning her AND wiping away the canister.

OR she couldn't get the door opened and HAD to break the window.

The guardrail was smashed,that tells me she had to be going at a fairly high rate of speed when she hit it,so she couldn't have just hit the guardrail,gotten out and then pushed her car over the edge.

Could she?

And Tracy loves herself,LOL...way too much to purposely hit the guardrail taking the chance she might not get out in time to prevent drowning...in essence,comitting suicide all to frame Luke.

So yeah I'd say that she really did wreck,but used the situation to her advantage.

I doubt Dillon tells Tracy anything except: "You're dead to me." LOL Sound familiar,
