  1. I didn't bother watching it. I skip Fridays since they're not classics IMO
  2. Yes, I recall her being asked but she had just given birth so she wasn't able to.
  3. Critically acclaimed maybe but not ratings rise. GL was constantly #8 soap in 1997. The comeback soaps in 1997 were ATWT and Days. ATWT numbers rebounded in the early part of 1997 with FMB coming in as EP. After that Days took the torch with Reilly HW.
  4. I think she had barely had a child when she was asked. I did enjoy MBE in the role.
  5. I was watching a clip from 1994....and ATWT had almost all of the core characters from Marland 's 80s around. I noticed Finn Carter returned as Sierra. Does anyone remember why Sierra returned? It's so sad that the talent pool was loaded yet ATWT had Richard Backus as HW and he was totally clueless.
  6. This is how close Days got to Y&R in 97. It isn't the highest HH number Days got in 97. That happened in January where Days was #2 with a 6.6 HH and YR was #1 with an 8.0
  7. Your welcome! Are you sure it's not from 95 or 96? Are you referring to Marlena being possessed? ratings from 1990
  8. A remote I and @DRW50 enjoyed is discussed. The Frankie and Darryl remote from Switzerland and the tram/cable car. https://www.tulsaworld.com/archive/it-s-a-dangerous-world/article_f77d23b3-4484-5217-b397-c50a6871428a.html I expected higher numbers for it but it ranked #3 for week. That remote was beautifully done. Too bad it never made on dvd or to YouTube. Here are the ratings for it back in July of 1992.
  9. Martha's acting on this episode was horrific. Samantha Markham was such a dull character. The two actress that played the role were terrible too.
  10. Watching back so much of the early 90s has been great. Marland s early 90s had way too many murder mysteries. One after the other. I wonder If that's why ATWT at that time had a ceiling in the ratings? I mean they were good but could've been even higher. I don't recall Marland doing so many deaths on GL. ATWT had a lot of great talent and so much was wasted on bad pairings or lack of story...Evan Walsh being one of them. Why bring in the talented MKA just to kill her off? And recasting Melanie Emily with Kelly's version was so wrong. Laurence Caso was responsible for that. OMG! When is this?
  11. Ratings from late February/early March 1994
  12. The show won its timeslot in total viewers and demos but dropped in both in the second half hour of the show.
  13. February 1994
  14. @DRW50 Will Horton would be proud of this. Lol
  15. Yup, ATWT had the #2 spot for most of 1991 until January 1992 when AMC took second. ATWT was #3 for most of 1992. From January 1994
  16. Mary Kay Adams & Terry Lester are on this classic episode
  17. From 1992 This must have been the Sheila/Lauren crossover to B&B.
  18. September 1992
  19. A pal from Kim.😊
  20. Jessica and Duncan's wedding from 1992
  21. It's from 1991. OLTL had a horrible 1991. GL wasn't having a great 91 either. ATWT had the Carolyn Crawford murder mystery and Holden/Lily wedding, Connor taking over Walsh Enterprise and Julie giving birth to Aaron, Holden son/one night stand and all of Oakdale finding out. Not sure what the others soaps storylines were.
