Mercedes and Tony only slept together once, a year ago. Mercedes got pregnant, but had an abortion. Jacqui, of course, wanted the child because she can't have any. Anyway, Mercedes thought it would be too painful to have her sister raise her child with the man she cheated with.

So Jacqui wanted Mercedes' baby, but she didn't know that Tony was the father? And that is why Jacqui was upset/shocked with Mercedes revealing that she slept with Tony? Were Tony/Jacqui together when Tony slept with Mercedes?

Hollyoaks is officially my favorite soap after watching this weeks episode. The mother revealing she gave up her son when she was 14 and the son coming back for revenge was so good. Nice soap moments there! I figured out it had to be Niall since he left the exact note that his mom left for him.

At the end, I felt sorry for him. He was helping his mother but he didn't had the strength to. So sad that one of the sisters died. Friday's episode was really, really sad! So it looks like Niall made it out safe too?

I cannot wait for next weeks show. I wanna watch more now. lol

The producers and storliners generally come up with the storylines, the characters they want used, and what characters they want introduced. The producer, Bryan Kirkwood in Hollyoaks case (sigh, he'll be missed), comes up with storylines with his storyliners, and they plot them, and come up with something resembling an outline (very different from breakdowns from US soaps). Anyway, the scriptwriters meet with the producers and storyliners and they have to execute the outline they have. The scriptwriters write everything from the dialogue to the scenes themselves. UK soaps are more of a collaborative process as well. Anyone can pitch a story idea, the scriptwriters are always welcomed to contribute. There's no "Head Writer," it's more of a group effort.

There's a script editor as well, who checks for errors in continuity and all the usual stuff script editors do.

So as the "Producer" does he produce the show in the sense of the EP does on American soaps? Or does he actually write the storylines making him a "Head Writer" (American soaps) while his storyliners or like Co-HWs? Why are there so many SWs though? Having like 15-20 is a lot!

I believe he's supposed to be in the limited late night spin-off. I think that spin-off takes place in another universe though, kind of like what Night Shift Season One was to GH. I'm not sure though.

When is that airing again?

Everything lately has me wondering if they're planning Clare's return. She's the only one besides Louise and Calvin that knows Warren killed Sean (Louise's ex-husband). She also has a lot to settle with Warren and Justin, and she could still kill Tom if she wants. LOL!

I hope she returns. Like you mentioned, Clare can mix it up with a lot of people.

Yes, they shoot like film, but they shoot their stuff like 2-3 months in advance before it airs.

What about their writing. I notice that they have like 20 script writers - each writer writing about 1 episode a month. What's the writing team structure like?

I guess I'll have to hope for his return someday, like Gemma Bissix.

So they took six days to shoot Thurs and Friday's eps? That's pretty interesting. Hollyoaks' shooting style is like film right? And that's why they have like the same director for 5 straight episodes.

OMG!!! Thursday's and Friday's episodes were the best!!!

But let start back with last Friday's episode when it was revealed Niall took the girls, and those notes were fake! Shocker #1

When Niall had all the McQueen women hostage, I kept on thinking, "It would've been perfect if he got John Paul too." And then Niall brings him in!! Shocker #2

Myra actually choosing Jacqui and Carmel! Shocker #3

Niall blowing up the church!!!! Shocker #4 Man that blast was spectacular!

Tina is dead????!!!! Shocker #5 When she died in Dom's arms and Dom carrying her out out church, and then Myra saying, "we all made it .....we all made it," those scenes were so good and sad!!!

I love the McQueen family. I didn't want anyone to die. But I'm glad Jacqui didn't die. She's my favorite McQueen sister. I loved her acting like the older sister, being the tough one, threatning Niall. And then not helping her own mom - awesomeness. Jacqui

Niall's not dead! Shocker #6 That was an awesome ending with his reflection.

I loved the the scenes when Niall and Myra when Myra was stuck. Barry Sloane is such a phenomenal actor. He was so good in Thurs/Fri's eps.

Man, what a week!!! I hope HO gets a bunch of awards, or at least nominations, for these two episodes.

I always used to say that you should take the lyrics from one song he produced and sing it over the production track of another one of his songs and it would still sound the same. LOL!

I think Britney's first two albums, the Max Martin dominated ones, are her worst efforts. I think she's one of those acts whose music technically got better once she grew up.

I'm a bigger fan of Britney's first two albums than her latest ones because I mostly like the entire album, while now, I only like a couple off her albums.

If I name my top 10 Britney songs, I think all of them would be from her earliest albums.

Max Martin's productions are always so generic. Though, he's changed from his original Swedish synthpop productions to a more generic pop-rock sound with the stuff he's done with Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne, and P!nk. I fully expect his recent Britney songs to follow in the pop-rock vein, he seems to be done with the synthpop of the late 90's/early 00's.

Yeah, I noticed the changed too but I guess that just goes with what's "in" now. Either way, I love both his styles. I also like his pop "love" songs. LOL

I want to hear "Circus" because Max Martin worked on it (with Dr. Luke who I also like) and I love Britney's Max Martin songs! I'm glad she's working with him again and I hope she continues to.

If you think this was a week of revelations, wait until you see what's coming up in the next two weeks. One big story that's been building for a year finally climaxes with a HUGE event.

Hmm......I'm going to guess the Niall revelation? (don't tell me)

I like how the McQueen's are always there for each other, even if they drive one another crazy. I like how Myra and Jacqui confronted Malachy, and Jacqui and Mercedes have always had their problems in the past. I really liked the scenes when Mercedes broke down with Jacqui, after she took the HIV test and started flirting with everyone.

I love angry Jacqui and when she was about to punch Malachy.

Amy and Josh are meant to be, and they should've never broken up. There's so much history there, and their families HATE one another, even though Sarah (Amy's sister) and Hannah (Josh's sister) are best friends. When Sarah was dating Hannah and Josh's brother, Rhys, Rhys was having an affair with Sarah and Amy's mother, for those of you who want to know.

The next few weeks are going to be explosive!

I always laugh whenever I see Ellis. Such a cute kid.

Onto this past week's episodes....it was a week of revelations...Mercedes finally knows and she beat the heck out of Malachy (which he so deserved! As if he slept with her again!)...and Newt found out about Jack.

How cute was that Amy/Josh flashback to their "antlers kiss"!! When was that scene, like 3-4 years ago?

Cindy was looking hot!

So Holly kind of takes after her mother, eh. Like the way she teased Tom about Nial being his new father (and a couple weeks ago when Tom had to go to pee really badly and she stole the bathroom away from Tom ).

You like Louise? Maybe an alcholism storyline will give her a real persoanlity.

Of course I like Louise - she's the hottest woman on the show! I've been making edits of her on youtube.

As Clare Devine told her last year, "The only friendship you've ever cultivated is with your make-up bag and a mirror. Anymore concealer and you would've wiped out what little bit of personality you've got left!"

Moving on to this week, which was really good. I'm glad that Russ now knows that he's the father of Tina's kid. Thursday, Friday, and next Monday's episodes are really solid.

I'm glad Russ stayed but does this mean Caroline's leaving for good?

Toups i disagree, i loved Christina's new military guy...I really hope he sticks around longterm...Also enjoyed Callie and Hahn and can't wait to watch their relationship progress...Also i think Bernadette Peters and the lady from Picket Fences did a great job..But there were bad parts...I still can't stand Merideth and Derek and i was cheering Christina on when she told Merideth to shut up...

Oh and the icicle bit totally ended up on Talk Soup...how funny is that..

There were some good parts like the military guy ("Made of Honor" reunion with Patrick Dempsey). I just didn't feel like the main story with the 3 ladies, 3 men accident was that interesting. Though I did like the scene where Izzy tells the 30 second memory lapse woman that her husband will coming any minute.

the show seemed to be poking fun at everything everyone hated last season.

Yeah, I got Shonda Rhimes' metaphors with the whole ranking thing and when the Chief addressed his staff saying how things are going to be different.

When will her album be released?

December 2nd.

Incredibly weak and repetitive tune (even for a modern pop song). This is not lead single material AT ALL. And god, the way she sings this song in her already weak voice is beyond annoying. Maybe the follow-up singles will be better pop songs, but this is not an impressive effort IMO.

Her first single off her albums are usually good.

I hope the rest of the album is good though.

Nothing special about the season premiere.

This show has lost its spark.
