Thanks. And Susan Dansby first listed as Script Editor. Interesting that Carlivati got the first episode out of the other BDWs, which was a big episode.

Aw, poor Demi. I thought she was great in The Substance. I've been wanting to see Anora for a while - I'm just waiting for it to come on streaming in mid March. Sean Baker winning four Oscars in one night - is this a record? Wasn't really a big fan of Best Costume and Best Cinematography getting "nomination shout out" from the actors presenting. I really hope they don't continue that and decide to rotate it to two other categories. I also didn't like the graphics of the actors' faces in the background - like when Adrien Brody won, Sebastian Stan's Trump was in the background while Adrien was giving his speech. ANOTHER James Bond tribute? We just had one in the last 10 years. Kudos to Cynthia Erivo for her awesome performance. I really love the 7pm EST start time. Thank God, no more 8:30pm EST starts. LOL

BTG: February 2025 Discussion Thread
After week one, my favourite is Leslie. I just love watching these type of characters who scheme to get what they want. I really like the actress too. I also like how this "mother" and "daughter" are scheming together and nobody knows they're going to be doing all these shady things. Eva being Ted's daughter is a good twist. Looking forward to this storyline the most. My second favourite is Kat and it's because of purely superficial reasons. LOL I just think she's really pretty and I love her cute outfits, and she has a great smile. Plus, Colby Muhammad seems to be a decent actress. She doesn't have any of the "new actor" ticks. I just hope she's good when she gets her first dramatic scene. I do agree with those who say that there needs to be male Dupree out there to continue the family name. I found it all that they're the main family but only two characters (maybe three? Did Dani drop Hamilton and went back to Durpee?) have that last name. Having multiple cliffhangers was great way to end the show's first ever week! I understand the show wanting to be fast paced early on. I'm sure MVJ will slow it down a bit.

Thanks! He must've very well regarded at DAYS because he lasted so many regime changes since joining the show in 2007. I always thought it would've been cool if Ryan got a sole HW position. I don't think an Asian has ever been in that position.

Why did you put this in a spoiler tag? LOL Care to source that info? Ryan has been with NBC/Universal for his entire soap career, starting at Passions as a Writers' Assistant in 1999. I'm surprised he made the jump to another soap.
