Agreed and I completely forgot that Alexis' ex husband sued Shannon a few years ago which was a recurring storyline in the background. That adds another layer to this new feud they have that I hadnt even considered. I really wish Alexis was full time and not just a friend but regardless, it looks like she is clocking in. IA. It was just the right Im here for. As a former Alexis hater I love that she is owning this new villian role. She had me gasping with how bold she was. Shannon for what its worth, is handling herself quite well. This is going to be a GOOD season. Better than RHOP, RHOA, RHONJ for sure

Thats expected and i kinda feel like they had to. Beau isnt there to carry out his vision for season 3 so Im sure there are things introduced in S2 that would end up being dangling plots that make no sense. The rewrites will help allign things and make it feel more cohesive and less jarring when the show moves in a different direction. I think a change in headwriters will be a good thing. S1 was enjoyable but was TOO fast paced. Beau knew the source material well, almost too well to a fault. It felt at times like he was just throwing things in there just for the fandom without having any intent on developing it. It was like dude, you are burning through so many plotlines; lets save some for future storylines. In fact his style felt like what you see when writers dont know they will get multipl seasons so they write each one as if its the last. I think the show would benefit greatly from slowing down and takin proper care to developing the characters bc at times it felt lik they had no room to breathe. That style of writing really hindered the show and it would have been much stronger had it not been so fast. The new weriter definitely should not try to follow Beau's style.

RHOA Im believing more and more that the Kenya departure is a publicity stunt. Bravo took a long time to confirm she was signed on or the show and i think they didnt give her a full season. Maybe her contract was for 7 episodes or so (similar to what Nene was offered but turned down). If thats the case, I can see this being a storyline they use to explain why she's off the show for half the season, only to make a dramatic return towards the end to film the remainder of her episode count. Im going to save this post and come back to it if thats in case what happens. They've never come out and said she was fired FYI, Bravo did the same thing with Quad on M2M. They "used" the women to vote Quad off the show but the reality is she only signed on for 7 episodes so they were going to have to come up with a way to explain her absence and baked that into the show as to not break the 4th wall. Im seeing the same for Kenya as she's probably expensive as the longest running housewife

Bravo is on some BS. We heard that Jen and Danielle were suspended after their fight...um when? If they were suspended, then why were they on the next episode after it? They even filmed solo scenes at home with their families. Its not like there was another event or trip after that they were cut from. Instead Danielle gets to host an event to promote her product line, which IMO is rewarding her. If she was truly suspended, that would have never been filmed and instead would have been cut. I think they only said they were suspended to save face

I dont count DC as that was 14 years ago and wasnt the start of a cascade of shows dropping. Dallas and NY were both within the last 3 years so I do consider them modern and relevant to whats happening now. Racial accusations and cast toxicity which we are seeing with the other shows was and is prevalent

Phaedra is on contract and filming for M2M. She wont be back for more than a guest appearance at best. Throw the season in the toilet. Any hype I had for it is now officially dead It woud be best for Kenya to pay them dust. She wasnt unrightly fired and I think she knows she has some accountability to take in what happened with her. The thing is the door isnt closed on her and she could still have opportunities in the future. Joining Bethenny and Nene (who has backpeddled herself) cause would blackball her and she cant afford that. She has a young daughter to feed. Kenya needs to think long term, not simply in the right now I will say Bravo aint ish for protecting Andy who admitted to sexual harassment of an employee yet did nothing to punish him. Of course he's a gay white male and Kenya as a black woman was never going to get that level of protection and grace

i dont care. im team Jennifer when it comes to this fight. Danielle kept getting in her personal space. Even after telling her to calm down multiple times, Danielle kept pointing her finger in Jen's face. I can see why Jen would push her. I also can see why Danielle would react to hit her but she did it with a cup which at that point becomes a weapon and could have caused more damage

Um, they initially gave that stuff to Rachel whom could have given it to the Gorgas in private but she chose not to. She then gave it to Dolores and Melissa nad Joe could have just set it aside and thrown it away when everyone was gone. Instead they chose to make a big fuss of it, use is as storyline fodder and brought everyone into it but complaining and victimizing themselves to a crowd at their own party that Teresa did not attend.
