The episode was practically spoiled for me when I saw people posting Twitter taglines #RoastJoffrey and there seemed to be overcelebration in anticipation of the episode. Didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what it was about I will say though that she looked gorgeous

In what way? She faked her relationship with Walter and this new man is still questionable but with Kenya, what you see is what you get. What does she make herself out to be that she isn't? If anything she's been more genuine this season and less over the top, which has gone a long way in making her now relateable And Phaedra is hella fake with her phony Southern Belle routine. She came on the show faking and lying about her pregnancy to give off the impression of being this innocent naive belle and all the dirt that's come out about her and her husband since has only made her schtick look even more phony

I just think its really vile for any woman to make fun of and/or attack another woman who has struggled/cant have children. Joanna did that to Lisa at the Miami reunion and she nearly lost me as a fan with those words. I think this here is compounded by the fact that we just watched Kenya deal with the death of Velvet and she considered herself to be her mama. We'll have to agree to disagree, but there are many avenues that Phaedra can choose to insult her on. Her struggles and loss when it comes to being a mother is crossing the line

They could have ended it at Mexico to let it end with a bang Nene's ending with that music and old cast photo felt so cryptic, like she was dead that is absolutely disgusting and hitting way below the belt especially knowing all the struggles she has had trying to get a child and losing Velvet. You may want to do a torrent search for Episode 1 and then jump into the YT page. If you find it, give it a try and stick with it. Like most franchises, episode 1 is a bit slow and might seem boring at first bc they are taking the time to introduce all the women, but it kicks things up a notch in the final 10 minutes and its a fun ride from there on out

I thought so at first too but that WWHL episode gave me hope. Both Nene and Sheree seemed to be in a different place. I think right now, Sheree would be the lesser of two evils when throwing Kenya and Marlo into the mix so I could see Nene recruiting her to go up against them (that is if Marlo were added). I never thought Teresa and prostitution whore would ever be on good terms, but they are now and its partially bc Teresa was backed into a corner without her former allies

I just watched the Sheree and Kim WWHL appearance from a few weeks ago and it was great. Good to see both seemingly happy. Nene even called in and she seemed to be fine with both women, throwing no shade whatsoever. Was shocked about her not being greasy towards Sheree and even more shocked that Sheree seemed very supportive of her, almost like she was subtly kissing her ass. Andy threw bait at her and she was not biting, handling herself well, joking and effectively deflecting. She came fully prepare for him to try and clown her about Chateau Sheree, She by Sheree and her non-existent love life It was like a whole new Sheree since last time and someone must have coached her on how to act. After this, I honestly wouldn't be opposed to both returning, and Ive had my issues against. Bravo would be foolish not to promote it as the Originals vs the Replacements/New Girls/or whatever would be more appropriate. An alliance of Nene, Sheree and Kim vs Kenya, Marlo and Kandi with Cynthia's ass in the middle would be GOLD. Id be here for that. Of course as the season broke down, you'd have Nene feuding with Sheree again, Marlo fighting with Kandi, everyone turning on Kim as she realizes she's too good for this and tries to back away

don't be a hater! You know people were hooked on the drama that Marlo brought to the table. Nene not getting along with the oldest son and Gregg holding out on signing the prenup weren't the big draw to get people talking and hyped about the episodes week to week. MARLO was pure gold for the show and if you could get your head out from under Nene for a second, I think even you'd have to admit, it wouldn't have been as interesting without her.

Alison was heart in season 1 and 2, but she started to lose that role in S3 and it was completely gone by 4 and 5. Alison in 5 was virtually unrecognizable. Sometimes its hard to believe she was there for the entire year and didn't make an early exit like Jane and Kim, bc she and her story were so forgettable. The show had long transitioned from being the "Alison show" by the time she left that when she did exit, I dont think it really hurt it.
