I feel like Leslie won't be lasting long on this show. Probably a murder mystery to be. She's alienated Mona and Jan, the best people she had, just to stick it to a married man.

It's lazy. Andre should really have a real storyline. It's not that difficult.

This show is getting away with a lot of half-assedness in my opinion. Dropped or otherwise ignored storylines, stereotypes in my opinion, no background music, no decent cliffhangers, true lack of characterization. Etc.

Leave GOD out of it. Just saying. For so many reasons.

Martin running for president was a main characterization for him. I do not like how they are not holding things together with these characters and plots.

Then nevermind.

Would've loved a more powerful exchange between Nicole and Leslie such as this. The alternative is to tell TRUE black struggle and not be so seemingly cartoonish.

Might this show be a black stereotype? Angry crazy acting women like Dani and Leslie. Cheating punk men like Bill and Ted who didn't keep it in their pants. Angry black men like Martin. Promiscuous black man wanting the white girl. Dirty black cops. And so on?

Lol. But Jeffrey was weak to mama. Leslie can go dead because anger is a great motivator via Martin defending HIS mama and just not taking ish altogether. This ain't how it should be. They need not run the show like this. It's too noticeable. The way Eva said mama reminded me of Penny from Good Times. Instead of physical abuse it's mental abuse.

I might've somehow missed it but what happened to Jacob's partner Detective Marcel Malone? And Jacob's shiny bald headed daddy Chief Elon Hawthorne as well?

It does seem cheap and lazy for this show to have just one family. Passions was heavily criticized but it was nicely structured with a total of four families.
