  1. You see, Krystle fought with her fists because she couldn't express herself emotionally, she just erupted. Alexis, on the other hand, always fought with her tongue because she knew exactly how to get under Krystle's skin. Alexis understood and expressed her emotions, Krystle bottled them up.

Which is why she wasn't cold. She was annoying, whiny, obnoxious, but she wasn't cold.

  2. <span style="font-size:120%;">ITV has ordered up eight more episodes of its lavish hit period drama "Downton Abbey," the Julian Fellowes-scripted co-production between Carnival Films and PBS Masterpiece that has wowed Sunday night audiences.

"Abbey" the pre-World War I drama which follows the adventures of the upper class Grantham family as well as their below-stairs servants, is a "Gosford Park" style country house drama with a cast including Hugh Bonneville, Dame Maggie Smith, Penelope Wilton, Elizabeth McGovern, Jim Carter, and Brendan Coyle,

The drama has picked up audience share since its debut Sept. 26th, when it debuted with a total audience exceeding 11.6 million including repeats and catch-up viewing and an audience share of 32% on transmission.

Episode two totaled 11.8 million in ratings.

Gareth Neame, managing director of the NBC Universal-owned Carnival Productions, said the show had "captured the imagination" of viewers.

  3. Only if Jackson actually dies. This is a must.

Also, do you watch Emmerdale at all?

Not as regularly as you do. But I keep track.

I love these kind of trashy "events", the car crashes, the train crashes, the helicopter/airplane crashes, the fires, buildings collapsing! laugh.gif But, no, I did not like Out of the Ashes. dry.gif

They are certainly problematic, the reasons are various, one being that it kind of becomes a pattern on how a show gets rid of characters. Every time you can't think of a plausible, well-written way, come up with a crash. happy.gifdry.gif Between crashes-as-write-offs & they-sailed-into-the-night-just-like-that there really isn't much else... Sadly... ... ...

  4. Oh dear, that's not good at all. Horniness being a defining trait about me. Of course, I am 21, so I'll excuse myself and claim ignorance on not knowing any better.

Secondly, what swastika update? I'm not denying I didn't have it, just that my memory is horrible.

Horniness is OK, but constantly advertising it? :P Dunno.

I don't remember either, it was just weird. And scary.

  5. They get less than 2 million, but I don't think it will be canceled anytime soon. It's not like Hollyoaks ever got high ratings before.

Well, since Marquess is proving to be a failure, and I guess he doesn't come cheap, they might revise their strategy and decide to dump the show.
