Dazzling drama on BBC One this Christmas including Toast, Upstairs Downstairs, Just William, Doctor Who, EastEnders and Holby City.

Yes, you are both right. I guess I'm just impatient for something a bit bigger to start. Eventually, I hope it will.
And I think, Carl, you hit the nail on its head: what I think I lack and find lackclustre is that Kirkwood isn't really good at pimping the show as Santer and everything kind of falls flat. Santer knew how to bloat an event and make it seem better than it really is (now wonder he's good at people manipulation, didn't he major in psychology?). It seemed as if every 3 months something relevant happened (though it didn't, clearly).

Kirkwood isn't working out.
Santer's show was a TV equivalent of a Californian blonde, hollow but eventful, and the utter and quite specific superficiality of it all was entertaining.
This is just not going anywhere.

Kim is horrible, the way she (mis)behaved at Mohamed's dinner party... She wasn't at all "more tolerable"!
Hopefully, Lisa will hound her out of the programme.

David Cameron killed him. Ed Miliband is a joke.
He really looks like a comedy act. And the fact that he has this weird gargle when he speeks isn't helping matters, at all.

I have just seen this and Wendy is terrible, as usual!

Thank you, Carl. I haven't been following the show closely so I had no idea.
You are probably right about female producers, it's an interesting observation.

So how is Phil Collinson seen so far by fans? Is he doing a good job? He's been on Sky News together with Tony:

Anyone notice that the 2nd dress Camille tried on is the one she's wearing in the intro/promotional pics? I guess they shoot those after filming?
I was distracted by how horrid they were and how, d'oh, the stylist sucked up to her (as did everyone else in the room)!

Kyle is gorgeous, but I don't like that kind of fitness-instructor kind of beauty. Her hair, though, is to die for. She seems like a stretched version of Demi Moore.
She and Mauricio were spotted at the Boa Steakhouse:

Well, Scott Maslen beat Anne Widdecombe in Strictly.

That was some great piano playing, but damn it, I can go the rest of my life without ever hearing another 80s family sitcom theme again. Except for Mama's Family.
Oh, and Re: Moonlight Feels Right. I don't think the lyrics are THAT good (except for that opening line - "The wind blew some luck in my direction. I caught it in my hands today." - that line is smoooooooth) because I hate it when songs get too specific. I'm from Louisiana, I don't want to sing about Ole Miss or Boston or Chesapeake Bay. But musically, I love it. The instrumentation and the melodies are fantastic.
And in regards to Who, I'm really interested in the first four doctors and I like what I've seen of Tennant.
It was good playing, not perfect, but I wasn't looking for that. Furthermore and weirdly, I liked the sound of that electric piano. The other day I had the chance to try a Clavinova and really liked it too.

Which exiting cast members did you miss when they left?
I wanted too mis her, Carl, I really did. I even liked a character until not so long ago. But seeing how neurotic they've made her, trashed her then made her a saint... Sometimes in a matter of episodes: she was a hysterical, psychotic mess in that hotel room and now she's this happy young woman doing the laundry chatting with her uncle while doing it.

I cannot wait for Lacey Turner to exit. She annoys the sh!t out of me. The character and the annoying actress really ran their course.
