  1. Wait??? You're not on the edge of your seat about the launch of Abott Communications??? Whatever the hell that company is supposed to do...
  2. What is JG obsessive focus on these "company takeover/business stories" that characters talk about non-stop....on and on and on? I can tune in after a month, and it's the same thing....takeover, CEO, CFO, blah blah...all about these vague companies? Why do any of TPTBs think these are the type of stories that their mostly female and gay men audience want to hear about and watch? No wonder their demos are plummeting. The show needs to get out of the boardroom and back into the bedroom!
  3. I randomly turned on an episode of Y&R after a long time. I will say that Lucas Adams seems to fit well as Noah. Maybe he'll be the one to make the role stick. That being said, is there EVER an episode of this show where people don't sit around and talk about company takeovers??? 😴
  4. I feel like BTG builds to these interesting huge events, but they have boring lulls in between. I wish they would improve hitting better and interesting story beats throughout the build up to the climaxes. For a November sweeps, nothing happened. I believe this is why their 18-49 ratings are down so much. Younger viewers are not going to stick around if the whole journey isn't interesting. I started really watching GH for the first time about six months ago. And, while it's not perfect, I feel they do a much better job at integrating interesting story beats where it feels like things are at least moving. I at least feel more motivated to stream it every day. Right now, I feel like I can watch BTG once a week and not miss a thing.
  5. I've watched since day one, but am I the only one that feels like we've been in a hold pattern for weeks and weeks with nothing really happening? For the first time since the show started, I began to skip over entire episodes only to tune back in and see that nothing has still happened. Now, sometimes it's just background noise for me while I do other things. I don't need constant huge plot points, but it just feels like people are repeating the same conversations over and over. I got excited when it was revealed that Hayley was planning on offing Bill, but nothing has really happened with that, either.
  6. Random thought...Esther seems to have been getting used a lot more this year than in the recent previous ones. With budget cuts, I feel like soaps haven't been using those fun supporting characters as much now as in the past. I miss Jeanne Cooper and having Jess Walton full-time. Seeing Esther takes me back to that time I miss so much. Good for KL!
  7. Another for me is Eileen Davidson as Kelly on SB. Great actress but didn't work in the part. The whole switch-a-roo was even more glaring as Carrington Garland had already been the perfect recast.
  8. That always drives me crazy on various anniversary episodes where they'll have dialogue that says, "It's been 20 years..." When it's obvious that their child is supposed to be 30 or older. The SORAS makes certain dates irrelevant.
  9. I wish it were longer, too. It could have been an interesting story for Jack and Jennifer. It would have been great for Jason Brooks, but...well... I did love him on OLTL!
  10. Zach Tinker was so good and breathed new life into Sonny and then they did...nothing with him!
  11. 1000% agree. How much more interesting would it be if RB had played a brand new character without all of the baggage (and age difference) of Taylor?! It may have actually been interesting to watch for a change.
  12. I've only been solidly watching the show for the first time the past few months. I was familiar with parts of the show and some of the character just from being a soap fan. I do have to say that I am enjoying GH more than any other shows right now. Sure, it has flaws but it seems to move along fairly well, and most of all, the eye-candy. Damn, there are so many cute men on this show. Nathan and Michael are at the top of my list.
  13. I've watched the show faithfully since the premiere, but I've found that I've let myself fall behind the past few weeks. It sort of feels like nothing is happening again. Does anyone else feel the same way? I would think for November sweeps they'd be pulling out all the stops.
  14. I didn't even watch but saw the recap. I can't believe Billy Flynn has been saddled with all of this. He so deserved better.
