  1. date: Monday, July 21, 2025 | Sara A. Bibel, Lynn Martin | Michael V. Pomarico Once again, Anita and Vernon just 'get' each other, and I love their support, too. It does not look like Naomi liked it when Jacob said the Duprees were her family (hinting they were not his). Dani playing off the jealousy telling Andre he can do whomever, wherever. You know she wants it to be her and only her. Damn, Nicole put her foot down: any hopes of Ted reconciling with her are now done, due to his deceptions. Wow. Good on her for putting her foot down where this is concerned. Crazy, basketcase... all amazing words to describe Dana, but it looks like Nicole is about to embark on the warpath and show us her power as a Dupree woman. Oh, both Ashley and Shanice are playing "let's see whose [insert] is bigger", and it's catty as frick. I love it. Here comes Nicole, and everyone is clearing out! We love the love of a mother's embrace, don't we? Bill, Ted... do not speak too soon about Jacob being on the case. 🤣 Dani would totally know where the secret cookies are stashed... but that word 'secret' is deadly for Nicole. But I genuinely love the "sissy" ship between Dani and Nicole, and in the same way Nicole was there for Dani, now Dani can be there for Nicole. Beautiful! Notes: Karla Mosley (Dani) showed up in her reactions to what happened two years ago, and I loved that the dialogue continues to stay pressed on the issue and that we're not glazing it over, either. I love the warmth and fierceness Daphnée Duplaix (Nicole) has been displaying as a mom where Martin is concerned; you can tell she is pulling some real strings. MISS MARY MACK! YES! I LOVE REAL-WORLD REFERENCES!
  2. Writers: Sara A. Bibel Lynn Martin Director: Michael V. Pomarico
  3. Credits for Monday, July 21, 2025: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Chris Van Etten, Elizabeth Korte Writers: Suzanne Flynn, Scott Sickles, Cathy Lepard Director: Gary Tomlin
  4. I have to try and go!
  5. This one breaks my heart; Eileen was one of a kind and was effortless in the role of Lisa. She was a true star. R.I.P. Ms Eileen!
  6. Or even Rachel confronting her about it in the scenes prior; those were amazing.
  7. Jane retiring definitely changed things for the character of Tracy, i.e., grey hair, fashion, etc. But again, Tracy in lounge wear versus business wear still exists. If she's handling Deception business at the offices, she's not usually in a kaftan like she would be at the Quartermaine estate or the Metro Court pool, etc. It's all relative to where Tracy is. I'd love to see her come back soon; again, the revolving door of head writers really shifted things. I do think the strike team (when she first returned in 2023) handled Lois the best, but just having Sofer back after 26 years away was so special.
  8. Colour is nice, yes, but in comparison to what León and Lane have worn in the role? Yes, characters can grow, but when Jane Elliot looks more youthful in what she wears... there's an issue. As for Rena Sofer, if I recall properly, the "Comings and Goings" that announced her exit did state it did not mean she was gone "for good". My guess is Sofer is on the east coast (where she lives).
  9. It's definitely an "actor" choice versus a "character" one. Comparison to Adrianne León and Briana Lane proves it's definitely actor versus character, and I hate it. It's the same thing when Nicole Paggi first pinch-hit for Kirsten Storms as Maxie.
  10. Not even 53... in general; I'm done with the unrealistic expectations that daytime seems to need to keep. Absolutely! She always slayed. And she even said she brought her own shoes in for Nikki to wear. But Nikki never looked like she came out of a thrift shop or didn't have a mirror.
  11. I feel like as a therapist, her 'inner thoughts' are muted; seeing her mention she didn't think choking out Dana was in her showcased that (to me, anyway).
  12. And even if he were, that does not mean he shouldn't be allowed. I absolutely concur, and it does seem to be a GH-specific issue in the past several years. I remember when Melody Thomas Scott was a bit... heavier (for lack of word), and she was still serving fashion as Nikki; she never slumped or wore oversized, boxy clothing.
  13. But if they were unaware of the nightmares (which seemed to be what was alluded to), they wouldn't. And when Martin did bring it up... Vernon said 'no', because they did not want it getting out.
  14. No, I thoroughly enjoyed them. Would that be on the forefront of their minds, though? From a generational standpoint, especially, would it be?
  15. If you're not what society deems as 'gorgeous', then people will tear you down and drag you for it. Yet, will also turn around and support everyone. Hypocritical, honestly. That would require the head of costume to do their job, which I do not feel they do, especially for those who happen to be of a bigger size (in comparison to others on the set). Her size, much like when Kirsten Storms was larger than she is now, is not the issue: the costuming is the ultimate issue.
  16. Wow; I would rather, like your post says @Errol, that they did considerably well with the last-minute change of schedule, especially in comparison to previous years.
