  1. KP has always been my gold standard for worst recast, especially following the magnificent Aubrey Dollar. I remember fans roasting her when said in an interview that she watched GL from its beginning, haha.
  2. I've watched soaps for decades but I'm wary of recasting adult characters. Particularly when the original has made his stamp on the role. Yes it's only been a month but MJ's Ted was one of my favorites. On UK soaps there is at least there is a last a significant period of time between recasts. On US soaps Actor #1 appears on a Wednesday and in comes Actor #2 on a Thursday.
  3. Well that sucks. Maurice was great as Ted. Of all people who could be recast he would be the one of the last on my list. I wonder what's behind this?
  4. Vernon and Anita were also having their dessert at the coffee table. It be nice for these homes to have dining rooms.
  5. Something I have been thinking about since reading the McTavish proposal is the fact that it was found in Nixon's papers at Northwestern. That means at some point Nixon procured it, read it, and filed it away. I am curious to know who gave it to her? I doubt McTavish sent it to her personally. (And this unpublished draft was definitely not vetted by lawyers, no matter what it says!) Maybe one of her contacts in the publication industry reached out and said "hey, there's this nutty book outline making the rounds with your name all over it..."
  6. Dani drinking again - clearly a problem
  7. Eva telling Tomas "you can get me off multiple times" 🤣
  8. If Diana Ross ever needs someone to play her younger self, she should call CM.
  9. Sara Bibel (outline) Lynn Martin (script)
  10. YES We are going to see Naomi v Bil in court.
  11. Marcel's description of Jacob is hilarious: "pain in the neck boy scout."
  12. Today we finally got some background - Andre knew Ashley before she dated Derek, Derek and Ashley have been going out for 2 years. This is the kind of context we needed before the triangle started.
  13. Also he is presumably living at the firehouse part of the time, so it probably makes sense to split rent.
  14. Lol I have always loved Cady's precise diction.
  15. Chateaux de Colere = Castle of Anger 😂
  16. Today was not my estimation of a "Friday cliffhanger" especially given the way they spoiled us in the previous two weeks. On the other hand, maybe BTG is storing its cliffhanger energy for this Wednesday before March Madness?
  17. After a week of good episodes today was a bit of a bore. The Friday cliffhanger is Bill and Hayley about to find Dani in their house, but we have already seen Dani turn up in their house uninvited.
  18. Today Ashley and Derek were really not bad at all. Dare I say...good!? The scene where Derek forgets Ashley's name and she offers to write it down was touching. Ashley is much more tolerable when BTG is showing us her caring nature rather than having other characters tell us how fantastic she is.
  19. This is more how I see the Eva/Leslie relationship: My LOL moment of today's episode: I like today's episode by Cheryl L. Davis just as much as her episode from last week. My favorite dialogue writers so far are Davis and Jazmen Darnell Brown.
  20. The looks Calvin was giving Diego and Vanessa today. He definitely knows exactly what's going on!
  21. The gambling story isn't taking too much time away from the show, and after today I think the real story isn't Doug's addiction but rather what Joey wants from Doug. My wild speculation is that Joey has a faulty heart and wants Doug to perform a transplant with a black market organ. Jon Lindstrom utters every word with relish, not unlike Trisha Mann-Grant. Not a single line is wasted with either of these actors. Leslie and Joey should team up sometime down the line.
  22. Taking a page from her namesake Sheila Carter. She just needs a Mike Guthrie.
