  1. Thanks, looks like this was from the taping of the wedding. We saw quite a few overhead shots of FC with those pedestal cameras in the first week and a half.
  2. I am wonder if Jan (Ashley's mom) cleans houses beyond the gates? I know she is supposed to work in Fairmont Crest but we haven't learned what she actually does there.
  3. I'm having BTG withdrawals! This might be the first time I have had soap opera withdrawals since I was a teenager. Thanks for the information about preemptions! @janea4old
  4. I know the demo numbers are more important, but I wish BTG had beat GH in total viewers, just for bragging rights. They were so close!
  5. Vanessa mentioning today that she is an empty nester just further hit home how aged-up the entire cast of characters is. Given BTG's emphasis on families and inter-generational relationships, the lack of any characters under 16 is a head-scratcher. I'm sure there must be a reason, but I can't figure it out yet. I still think Leslie is lying about her connection to Ted. And the lie is somehow related to Andre's parents. Besides, making Ted and Bill both cheaters would be overkill, wouldn't it?
  6. These are fair points, but I don't blame those who are skeptical given the corporate track record. For now I am keeping an open mind given that the Martin/Smitty story is about a relationship breakdown. They aren't going to be affectionate at this time. I don't find myself rooting for the couple at this point anyway. I'm kinda hoping that Smitty books a workout with Diego.
  7. PGP is a different entity from P&G Studios and a lot of social changes have taken place over twenty years but we have to be honest about PGP's track record of homophobia. "We don't need that kind of controversy, because we might lose viewers. 'All My Children' is doing a gay story line right now, and -- how shall I put this? -- the ratings haven't gone up." -Mary Alice Dwyer Dobbin, "Oakdale Days," New Yorker Magazine 2002 P&G handed oversight of their dramas to MADD for a decade. No, she is no longer at P&G but we need to set the record straight.
  8. I am going to be tarred and feathered for pointing this out, but shouldn't Dani be arrested by the Prince George's County police department? Fairmont Crest is not under the jurisdiction of the MPD, where Jacob is assigned.
  9. Vanessa is very much like the Angie Dickinson character in Dressed to Kill!!
  10. When Anita strutting, a camera made an appearance on the right of the frame. oops!
  11. Someone is going to be thrown off that roof!
  12. I still think Vanessa is a better match for Dani's best friend than Pamela.
  13. How does this show keep getting Phideaux "Xaviar" wrong? Unless he changed his name again??
  14. I felt this episode was fairly repetitive though entertaining - we have already seen Dani confronting Hayley, Kat catching Eva, Martin and Smitty fighting, Ashley talking about her elevator baby🙄, Jacob feeling inadequate, etc... Then we get slapped in the face with that Chelsea scene!
  15. I feel like Martin/Smitty were written to be a straight couple and were changed at the last minute.
  16. Craig does not strike me as a nerd whatsoever.
  17. Hayley's decor makes sense to me as a character choice. It's an imitation of Dani's style with the gold accents and bright colors but overdone. As if Hayley is one-upping Dani.
  18. In fairness, they referenced a march on Washington rather than the March on Washington, but it should have been clarified.
  19. I agree. There were far fewer characters featured today which gave the stories room to breath. I liked how Jazmen Darnell Brown's script referenced actual media like TMZ and the Shade Room rather than trying to cute with made-up punny names. We are still getting some exposition-laden dialogue ("my favorite son-in-law") but there is less, and most of the exposition is more natural - the women gossiping at the diner or Vanessa showing Doug pictures of their kid on her phone. I would just like one scene where Eva to interrogates Nicole about her past so we can get a sense of the ages and the timeline. Doug is recurring
  20. It's not tearing it apart - it's simply speculation about what we are seeing on screen.
  21. Yes, that would be more believable, and maybe Martin pressured Smitty into agreeing to adopt in order to burnish his image as a congressman
