I can barely watch two shows in a row.

He plays a Newman and his female costars always carries him into popular pairings. Noticed how nearly all the Newmans and anyone adjacent to them had the most screen time this year.

Michelle Stafford 2000 return as Phyllis. I feel like this was her peak year. She was great and Phack was smoking hot. Hunter Tylo return to Bold in 2005. Probably the last year I truly enjoyed the show.

It’s a throwaway pairing because Josh probably doesn’t want to write for Nick/Sharon or Adam/Sharon since his other female pets are with them. Josh doesn’t care about Rey or Sharon, so this arrangement is perfect for him.

I wonder if Steffy is actually going to have this baby in the end.

Ok, I like Devon and Amanda together. Not sure where that leaves Elena if they are burning her story with Nate.

Oh definitely. I don’t care if they are not together right now as long as they are when the lights are officially turned off on the show.

No way Josh would give Shick fans any hope for a reunion.

Maybe it’s me, but it seems like Elena and Nate are being pushed out.

I would not feel comfortable taping scenes with people who don’t follow the guidelines. It only take one false negative covid swab to cause spreading of the virus.

Got it. I was referring to cast members, but I agree. I work in healthcare and expect the next month to be absolutely terrible.

Hold up. Which ones? I haven’t heard of any additional positives from cast members since the Chance actor got it.

Bring back the classics!

My assessment of Josh is he basically just re-upped all the stories and characters he was writing for during his prior stint before he was fired in 2013. He has zero self awareness about what’s good tv. It’s all about his vision, and he’s unable to change gears because he feels he knows what best despite the viewers saying otherwise. He brought back Adam, Kevin, Chloe, and Chelsea after they were successfully phased out by the prior regime. It’s an ego thing it seems. I personally have zero faith things will get marginally better under Josh or any other head writer. At this point even the cast appears burned out and the acting has not been up to par like prior years.

Just finished watching my first show since September. Not bad at all. At least there seems to be movement and direction with the stories. Even some of the music scores were decent. Billy and Lily, I could buy. CK actually has developed into a decent love interest compared to when she was paired next to DG. I don’t like Amanda and Billy anymore, so I’m happy they are not going in that direction.

Comical. Even though the actor who plays Adam probably has the leg up right now.

I think Josh is here to stay until the show is canceled which is probably 2-3 years away. Susan Dansby was brought in to place a black face in the writers room. I may be wrong, but that’s my impression of the situation right now. The ship is only going to sink further.

He looks significantly older than both.

I kinda felt Kay Alden started the process of tanking the next generation by killing Mac and Billy. JT and Britney never did it for me as younger lead characters and they were loosely connected to the overall cast. To the original poster, I do think Jolleen should have been the endgame couple. I think the writers overestimated the appetite for a Mac/JT pairing because they saw Thad as the new “it” guy within the teen scene after Jolleen was successful and thought the fans who were watching during the height of Mac and Billy’s story would root for him as a replacement for their girl. It didn’t happen and barely anyone cared. Britney and JT did make sense because in 2000 JT did want Britney. I think the writers should have put them together once Raul left instead of having Britney with Bobby and JT with Mac before eventually reuniting Jolleen. I kinda blame it on poor recasting and too many regime changes at HW and EP. They also attached too many younger characters like Lily and Billy to people like Victoria and Cane for years. Speaking of SORAS, JT’s Billy is too old.

A lot of people in their 30s-50s are aging slower than their parents. Probably due to most people not having as many kids, smoking education, and better lifestyle practices. Even the 20 year olds on the show look younger compared to actors 25 years ago. It’s probably why Kyle and Summer always look like a teen couple rather than adults lol
