In case anyone missed this, from about 11 months ago,
Kirsten Storms in her own words, talking about her bipolar diagnosis (on Maurice Benard's "state of mind" show)0 -

I'm going to share something. I hope you don't make me regret it. Kirsten Storms is on a weight loss drug & is losing weight & she is so pleased & in such a good mood, that she is letting the support people do their jobs instead of ignoring them or fighting them & so that makes them very happy. And, in a few weeks maybe we will be able to tell onscreen. So, if you've been praying for KS, alter your prayer to help her keep this up!
I do mind you sharing this, unless she disclosed it herself with a verifiable link.

@Errol posted about IG pics from two guest actors in Feb. 27 episode here:
https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/66204-article-ron-nery-jr-and-naiia-lajoie-to-appear-on-‘the-bold-and-the-beautiful’They seem to be dressed as paramedics. So now I wonder, will they be real paramedics -- or fake paramedics like Y&R's Phyllis faked death of summer 2023?

As someone on another board pointed out, if it this is Sugar (or some other Sheila doppelgänger), then they'd have to have planned this far in advance, and have removed a toe from the doppelgänger with enough time for it to heal over.

Didn’t Sheila mention meeting up with someone from her past last week? That seemed so from out of nowhere to not be significant. Also, wasn’t Sugar last seen with Sheila’s face?
Sugar ... well, it's random but anything's possible. If that were the case, then everyone would assume the corpse is Sheila's body, so nobody would do a DNA test. Then the real Sheila would leave town or lay low for a little while off canvas, which would technically make Kimberlin's "exit" true even if temporary.

The tvinsider article quotes Kimberlin about filming the scene of the paramedics pronouncing Sheila dead. So maybe the paramedics make a mistake and she wakes up? Or maybe it's only Steffy dreaming that the paramedics are pronouncing Sheila dead?
I mean I hope Sheila's dead but ... this is Sheila.0 -
Michael Fairman putting "killed-off" in quotes in his headline LOL. He quotes the tvinsider article but you can tell he's a little skeptical
If this holds up and Sheila is “dead” dead

I think Steffy is hallucinating that she "got up and left"
Sheila has got up and left after being killed/imprisoned/whatever so many times in the past. Easy to imagine that happening again.
Yeah I could buy it as a hallucination.

Soaps need to have anti-heroes. I don't know if you watched in the 90s, but back in the day Sheila was daytime's greatest villain. I agree that she is over-exposed and stupidly written... but I wanted to see her redeemed or just transformed into an interesting anti-hero of the 2024 day.
I disagree. I did watch Sheila in her initial run on Y&R vs Lauren and I hated her then. I *still* haven't forgiven her for stealing baby Scotty from Lauren, plus trying to kill her mother Molly Carter in a fire, etc etc etc.
She should have been killed off in that era.
Sheila is NOT redeemable. Any storyline saying she's redeemable is barfworthy in my opinion!
I fundamentally believe that on all soaps, the same villain should not continue to appear for decades. They should be short-term (maximum one year) story arcs. The focus should be on the main characters.0 -

I don't care that this is anti-climatic with no-buildup. I've hated Sheila for decades and am glad to be rid of her!

Ordinarily. I would agree with that idea in general terms about most characters/storylines
But Sheila is a horrible person and should have died permanently decades ago. She's already had way too much focus. So in my opinion, she should have zero attention and deserves to be killed off in this way.
I'm fine with this if it gives Steffy and Finn focus, as they do deserve focus.0 -

Bold & Beautiful’s Kimberlin Brown Out as Sheila: ‘It’s a Tough Place for Me to Be In’
Ah yes you are right that TVLine has the info.
However, TVLine and "soaps.sheknows" are the same company (Penske Media Corporation). Charlie Mason of soaps.sheknows reporting this for TVLine ...
But he's only quoting the tvinsider report. The tvinsider report from Stephanie Sloane has the details.Edit to add. I apologize for quibbling. Everyone will soon have the news reported.

Steffy Forrester stabbed Sheila Carter to death on the Monday, February 26 episode
Kimberlin Brown admits she had to work through some feelings after hearing that Sheila, the role she first began playing on The Young and the Restless in 1990 before crossing over to B&B two years later, would be killed off. “Well, you know, it’s a tough place for me to be in right now; I’m not going to lie about this,” Brown begins. “I guess if anyone were going to take Sheila down, I’m happy it’s Steffy. I just wish that no one was taking Sheila down. It’s my happy place where I have been so blessed to be for over 35 years. But I’ve had a good run at it, so I’m one of the lucky ones, there’s no doubt about it.”
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who plays Steffy, was torn over the news that Sheila would die at her alter ego’s hand. “Well, it’s bittersweet because I absolutely love working with Kimberlin; she is just the consummate professional,” Wood praises. “She elevates every scene and she’s so creative. For Steffy, hallelujah! This is her moment. How long has it taken Steffy to take her down and it’s finally happening, so it’s going to be a big shock.” As a fan of the soap before she joined it in 2008, Wood adds, “For someone who used to watch the show, and to [now] go toe-to-toe against Sheila, that’s a really cool moment.”End quotes

In my opinion, there doesn't need to be any rule that male or female actors should be taller/shorter than the actors who portray their romantic partners; and there doesn't need to be any rule about how much any height difference should be.
I like that actors in pairings sometimes have unconventional differences in height. It's more relatable to real life.

Quoting some of Drescher's speech at SAG-AFTRA awards:
"During the fight for a better TV theatrical contract, global ideas emerged. AI will entrap us in a matrix where none of us know what's real. If an inventor lacks empathy and spirituality, perhaps that's not the invention we need. Dystopia stories can also become a self-fulfilling prophecy. We should tell stories that spark the human spirit, connect us to the natural world, and awaken our capacity to love unconditionally.""What does female leadership look like to women and girls? We don't have to emulate male energy, but rather lead with intellect, compassion, wisdom – and still rock a red lip. Sometimes it's hard to see the frame when you're in the picture. But a renaissance can happen. We each can work to develop empathy within ourselves. Collectively, the paradigm will shift toward peace and harmony."
