  1. Wendy Moniz who played Dinah Marler from 1995 to 1999. She went onto Primetime and was married to her GL onscreen lover Frank Grillo who played Hart Jessup. They divorced this year after two decades of marriage.
  2. It could also be Jill Lorie Hurst/Nancy Williams Watt. Both have been participating in various chats during the virtual reunions.
  3. According to Alan Locher on Facebook he has some Guiding Light writers he will be talking to next month. Cross my fingers they're Nancy Curlee and Pamela K. Long
  4. New Reunion Alert!!! I think most of us will be looking forward this one!!! Former soap publicist Alan Locher will be interviewing AS THE WORLD TURNS faves Scott Bryce (ex-Craig), Gregg Marx (ex-Tom) and Hillary B. Smith (ex-Margo) next week. The live chat will take place on Friday, June 19, a 2 p.m. ET. https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/new-as-the-world-turns-virtual-reunion/
  5. I see the Racism and Racial Representation page has a new meaning.
  6. Thanks. I remember hearing about Chandler and Aiden. I thought Kim was somewhere in California. According to IMDb she played a character called Tanya Hempstead in 1994.
  7. More to add to the list. Sharon Leal Shari Headley Jackee Harry Tonya Lee Williams Sherri Saum Kevin Mambo Darnell Williams Debbi Morgan
  8. I know it would never happen but I wouldn't mind a candid tell-all with several black actor and actresses who did daytime talk about their experiences in the genre as a documentary or book. People I would love to see/hear from Amelia Marshall Ellen Holly Victoria Rowell Nia Long Tamara Tunie Ingrid Rogers Davetta Sherwood Vinessa Antoine Renee Elise Goldsberry Tika Sumpter Timothy D. Stickney Peter Parros Lawrence Saint Victor Monti Sharp
  9. Another reunion I know some people might pass on Paul Anthony Stewart (Casey - Loving; Danny - Guiding Light) and his co-stars Laura Wright (Ally - Loving; Cassie - Guiding Light; Carly - General Hospital) and Nancy St. Alban (Michelle - Guiding Light)
  10. Julie Pinson - Lois Cerullo - GH Erika Slezak - Laura Horton - DAYS Kim Johnston Ulrich - Hope Bauer Spaulding - Guiding Light Kim Matula - Serena Baldwin - GH
  11. I tend to think about City of Angels from time to time randomly and I just looked up it lasted two seasons. But I always thought it only lasted one. City of Angels did have potential and it was an interesting take with a medical show with a predominantly black cast.
  12. Melinda Clarke as Phyllis on YR when Michelle Stafford left in 2013.
  13. As long as we don't see the Father Knows Best wedding or another wedding post 2006 I'm good. I hope they don't show Michael & Lauren's wedding for the hundredth time either.
  14. I've been catching up with the January 1993 episode of Loving for the past week or so now, and I must say I enjoy them all to varying degrees. So far, I don't see any romantic chemistry from Stacey and Jeremy. However, I do like their friendship and him helping her out. It seems this is in character for Jeremy from what I know of his history on All My Children. He always had to come to the aid of a woman and always interfered with police investigations. I do like that Stacey has some agency and isn't still going out of her mind about Jack. I really wish I could see Louie's prostate cancer storyline. Not too many soaps would feature a story of a male character who was Bernard Barrow's age suffering from a disease let alone being discussed in such a frank manner. (I'm looking at you Chuck Pratt with that terrible Michael Baldwin prostate cancer story on Y&R) I liked Dinah Lee calling him out on the real reason why he doesn't go home. Also, we get Kate and Ava at the Rescott/Slavisnky household talking about how Kate and Louie had a prominent sex life, which Ava is both surprised and elated to hear about her mother and stepfather intimacy secrets. Lisa Peluso and Nada Rowland had great chemistry as mother/daughter. Dennis Parlato is my favorite Clay even though I didn't mind James Horan. But Dennis as Clay fits in the role of the son who wants to take over and will do anything to get him to do so. Besides, he and Christine Tudor had great chemistry together. And I prefer Vamp Gwyn over Frumpy Gwyn any day of the week. @dc11786 is right about how Hannah comes off so sickly sweet and so naïve. Every time she is in a scene I'm like "How old is she supposed to be again? I wish the episodes leading up to Cooper and Ally sleeping together would surface one day. I did like Casey laying into both Ally and Cooper for sleeping with each other in New York City. Paul Anthony Stewart was such a talented young actor. It seems from what I read the other actresses playing Isabelle would've handled her nephew getting a girl from the working-class area of town pregnant differently. I did have to cringe at Ron Turner Jr. and his singing group singing blues songs at the NYE party. I was like why do the black characters performing songs that sounded like they were from Gershwin? I'm glad in the upcoming years the black characters get adequate screen time and actual decent writing,
  15. Private Practice - Season 3 - It's a rewatch for me.
  16. Her character was Juliet and she was played by Laur Allen https://www.imdb.com/name/nm5977008/ I think Juliet had potential, especially if they would've taken her into a vixen role on the show. The actress just needed some red bull and better direction because sometimes she came off kind of lethargic on screen. I always wanted Cane & Lily who decide to get back together to win custody of the baby Juliet had with Cane. Juliet being heartbroken decides to be vengeful so she secretly hooks up with Charlie to get revenge on the walking stick and Lily getting her son so she sees it as her taking their son. After three months Lily finds out and goes buck on Juliet for messing with her teenage son. Juliet also had that sexual harassment lawsuit against Cane at Brash and Sassy which she won I believe? Also she had a brewing friendship with Hilary too.
  17. I suggested Tamara Tunie among other guests that Alan Locher should have to reunite and someone commented that he tried to reach out to Tamara twice but said she wasn't interested.
  18. A must read from Patrick Mulcahey and Diversity throughout the Daytime landscape regarding the soaps including Santa Barbara.
  19. Now that I think about it you're right. I wouldn't mind her if he get her on with Peter Parros and Napiera Groves.
  20. I hope he can get Tamara as well.
  21. Anyone remember TJ's being racially profiled at Wyndham's off screen on GH? It could've been a game changing story but as usual ABC and the rest of the TPTB didn't want to commit thoroughly to this story.
  22. I was surprised that today's episode was able to keep the instrumental version of Toni Braxton's Spanish Guitar which was playing at Jack and Phyllis' engagement party.
