Ahh, yes! I believe i have some of those episodes uploaded to my youtube-account. That whole Halloween week where Gina plotted to kill him was some of the most intense stuff ive ever seen. The stuff where she duplicates Edens dress, prepare the wig, sets the clock back so Brandon wont get suspicious, and down to the whole plug-pulling. Such a terrific time. To bad this was the end for Linda Gibboney. She was such a dynamic and great actress. Ive always wondered what it would be like if they brought Robin Mattson in like a different caracter, and kept Linda as Gina. Would have been fireworks!

Just love that stuff where Mary finally realise that he raped Christy. She was terrorfied by him when he started yelling on her. No wonder, he did an amazing job as Steve Bassett. I wish they would have kept Tricia on, she turned into such a wonderful actress on Y&R, same goes for Melissa Reeves. Jade Perkins just faded away, together with Laken and Christy that fall of 1985 (altough Laken returned for the christmas-episodes in 1985, and ofcurse in later years by Snyder and Danielson)

100 % agree! Altough i like all that stuff with the tunnel collapse, the proposal in the clearing with C&E, the failed wedding attempt with the fire, Marcello trying to kill CC... etc!

The next episode with the car blowing up is coming right up She was cast as Kelly in mid 84 so i guess she was almost 18. Took her some time on the show but she really shined after a few months.

I do. Let me take a look tonight And yes, they sure got packed alot of stuff into those years. If your name wasnt Marcy Walker, A Martinez or Robin Mattson you were not safe on that show. They got rid of alot of talent way to fast wich i believe was also one of the main reasons why SB struggled in the sense of a long-term commitment from US-viewers. Ofcurse it didnt help being opposite against established and popular soaps as GH and GL.

As far is know the lawsuit from the Dobsons against New World was settled in 1991 outside of court. They hold no rights to the show. 100% domestic rights belongs to Sony, and international to FOX. Cant really believe the show, since it "only" aired for 8 1/2 years hasnt been aired again. Lets hope we get the show on dvd, atleast a "Best Of" set.... its about time!

New World is not around anymore, they were bought by FOX in 1997. Made a few phonecalls and found out that: Sony holds the domestic rights to air the show. FOX holds the international rights to air the show. We are trying to get the show released on dvd, with a "Best Of" box to start off with to see how the sales would be. I would REALLY apreciate it that anybody who loves the show "likes" my page on facebook. The more people in there, the more buzz and fuzz we can create about this matter, the better. Im currently trying to find out WHO owns WHAT regarding the rights to SB. The goal is to give it a try to get SB released on DVD. I figured its worth a shot. The show is way to good to be dusting away in some vault. I having some issues though regarding locating the right source. I suspect there are different owners when it comes to domestic and international rights. Any help would be apreciated.
