  1. Devon's good news hits a sour note for Dru Stepping off of the elevator, Jack Abbott was in no mood for conversation or stares. After being humiliated by the likes of Randall Bates, with the help of Victor Newman, he wanted to make a new start on his life; and the first order of business is t o let it be known to every Jabot employee is that Jack Abbott is BACK! Grabbing her purse and keys, Lily is all set for her shopping excursion with Colleen. Colleen smiles at her best friend, asking her if she’s ready to check out some of the hottest trends for the summer. Lily is all for it. With summer quickly approaching, and with things the way they were between her and Daniel, she definitely wanted to make some changes in her life. In her office, looking over some possible photo shoot options, Phyllis can’t help but think about Nick. She talked to him two days ago, but even then, she felt so lost without him. Sighing a little, she glances over at the picture of the two of them. A light knock at the door stops her from daydreaming any further. Without looking up she tells the person to come in. When she glances up, all she can see is a huge bouquet of flowers staring back at her. Brad, so sure of himself, proceeds to make his way into the office of Jill Abbott. Jill, not in much of a mood to see him, tells Brad that he has twenty minutes of her time. Not phased Brad tells her that he has a sure-fire way to bring Jabot back to where it once was. Somewhat interested, Jill is more than willing to hear what he has to say. OPENING SEQUENCE Devon and Amber are at Crimson Lights, talking about their meeting with Owen Smith. She can’t believe that he wants her to come out to Los Angeles to record a demo. Amber squeezes Devon’s hand and thanks him for all he’s done. He tells her that the work is all hers. Amber’s eyes get wide when she comes up with an idea to make his dreams of being a producer come true; go with her to Los Angeles. Devon hesitates at the idea, however, the more she talks, the more he begins to want to take the trip. Drucilla is surprised, but pleased to see Sharon paying a visit to her. Hugging her friend, she tells Sharon how sorry she is about what went down between her and Jack. Sharon tries her best not to let it get the best of her, but soon voices her anger about how Jack led her on. As the two are talking, Sharon tells Dru that not only has she lost a relationship, but also lost her job as NVP spokes model. Dru is at a loss of words in what to say. In Phyllis’ office, she asks who’s behind the flowers. As the flowers lower, she is flabbergasted at the sight of Nick standing before her. Running to her husband, she gives him a long hug and a lingering kiss. Placing the flowers on her desk, Nick tells her that he’s missed her and Summer so much. Nick kisses her again and tells her that he saw the debate between Jack and Randall. Phyllis, not in the mood to talk about Jack, tells Nick that they can catch up on all things Genoa City another time. After pitching his idea on what to do for Jabot, Brad asks Jill if there is any chance that she can get him a position at the company. Standing up from her desk, she tells Brad that she doesn’t have any guaranties but she will definitely try to find something for him at Jabot. Walking out of the door, Brad smiles smugly as he watches Jack step on to the elevator. COMMECIAL Daniel steps into Crimson Lights and immediately spots Devon and Amber. Approaching them, he asks what’s up with the two of them. Devon tells Daniel that Amber has some good news to share, and excuses himself to get another cup of coffee. When Daniel sits down, he asks her what the news is. Amber excitedly tells him that she is returning back to Los Angeles to make it in the music industry. At one of the hot spots in the mall, Lily is trying on some clothes. Colleen immediately takes notice of the change in style that Lily has suddenly developed, and makes a comment on it. She is stunned that Lily is changing up her appearance. Lily tells Colleen that she wants to make a little change in her life, and if it means wearing things she’d normally pass up on, so be it. Jack makes his way to Jill’s office. Without waiting to be told to come in, he makes his entrance and sits across from his former flame. Jill comments that Jack is a brave man to come out of seclusion after the hell he’s been put through. Cutting her off, he tells her that he wants all documentation of what’s been taking place at the company in the past few months. A curious Jill asks why, to which Jack informs her that it’s his company and he wants to know what’s going on. When Jill comments on Brad wanting a position in Jabot, Jack vehnomly tells her that Brad Carlton will never have a job at Jabot. COMMERCIAL Dru tells Sharon how sorry she is to hear that she is no longer the NVP spokes model, but tells her also that she needs to talk to her about that. Sharon assumes that Dru knows who her replacement is going to be, and immediately asks if they hired someone already. Looking her friend in the eyes, she tells her that Nikki and Phyllis have in fact hired a new person; her. Sharon, obviously disappointed, tries her best to hide her hurt. She quickly congratulates Dru, but leaves in haste, making up an excuse about Noah. Nick tells Phyllis that now that he is home, he wants to set things straight between the family. Phyllis asks how he’s going to accomplish that. He admits that it might be tricky, but he wants to start by inviting the family over to the house for a family get-together. Laughing ruefully, Phyllis tells Nick that they better hide the knives and other sharp objects. Hugging his wife, he tells her that it’s important that they get the family to put away their animosity for one another. As they hug, Phyllis has a very bad feeling that Nick’s plan for family harmony will blow up in his face. Making a stop to his parents’ house, Devon is excited to share his recent news with Dru and Neil, who has returned home from work. When he finds them on the couch, he spills the beans about taking a trip to Los Angeles. Neil immediately thinks it has something to do with the recent seminar that he went to. Devon says that it is only partially correct; his trip to Los Angeles is to help Amber with her music career. Dru immediately bashes the idea, telling Devon that she’s not about to let him waste his time and money on some two trick pony. Neil, however, wants to know if this is really what Devon wants.
  2. This was the most heartbreaking episode, aside from the death of Brandon. The words to Kelly's song fit so well for this episode. My heart just breaks for Lucas.... Excellent episode guys/gals
  3. As the walls close in, Michael may have to step back from his family At the Newman ranch, Victor is hanging up the phone, when Nikki walks into the archway of his study. Victor immediately tells Nikki that they have some celebrating to do. Nikki, still not on the up and up with their strained relationship, tells Victor that he might have to celebrate solo. Once Kevin has left the athletic club, JT notices Amanda’s frustration. She tells him that she can’t believe Kevin’s gall in approaching her about his mother. He immediately suggests that the two of them have a quiet dinner back at his loft; an offer that Amanda is more than happy to agree to. Devon, jotting down an address, looks up to see Amber at the door. Holding up a finger, he tells her to wait a second after he’d done talking to his friend. When he gets off the phone, he lets her in. He tells her that he may have the opportunity of a lifetime for her. Sharon confronts Jack on what he’s said. She wants to know if he had any faith in their relationship. Not holding back, Jack tells Sharon that their marriage was nothing more than a way to help his campaign. Now that he’s lost, what is the purpose of even staying together. OPENING SEQUENCE Michael and Gloria are in deep discussion about what tactics to take in hopes of winning her case, when Kevin storms in, letting the door slam behind him. Michael asks what his deal is; to which Kevin admits to getting into a heat confrontation with Amada Gibson. An angry Michael tells Kevin that because of his confrontation, Amanda can make it look like he harassed her. He tells both Gloria and Kevin that maybe it’s time that he steps away from the case and hire on someone else. Neither one wants to hear that news. Victor asks Nikki how she could be so cool towards him, especially after all that he’s done for her in the recent weeks. Nikki stresses that while she appreciates the work Victor put in by getting NVP back for her, things are still not worked out between them. Not giving up on her, Victor tells Nikki that she will want to celebrate after she learns of the fall of Jack Abbott. Smiling a little, she agrees to have dinner with him. At the loft, JT, who picked up Italian food, places Amanda’s meal before her. As he sits down, Amanda tells him that since being in Genoa City, she has had a mixture of sadness, anger and curiosity. He asks her to explain; she tells him that when she came to Genoa City it was specifically to pay Jack Abbott back for tearing her family apart. Then when she realized he was an innocent victim as she, she was more than determined to set things right for her mother and father. JT tells Amanda that he understands about wanting revenge; and explains briefly his situation with Colleen and Adrian. When Amanda sheds tears, JT embraces her. COMMERCIAL Amber asks Devon what opportunity he’s preparing for her. Devon tells her that he set up a meeting with Owen Smith, one of the hottest recording producers based in Los Angeles. Amber looks stunned, but asks how they can possibly go to California so soon. Devon tells her that Owen was one of the producers he saw at his seminar, and is still in Genoa City. The doorbell rings, and Devon opens the door, introducing Amber immediately to her possible future. Jack tells Sharon that since he’s been humiliated before all of Genoa City, there is no chance in his winning the election; and since he won’t win, there is no longer the need to continue the charade of a happy marriage. Sharon is furious of Jack’s callous behavior and demands to know why he stayed with her even after admitting his distaste for her. He tells her that the one thing that kept him with her was the sex. Jack says that if Brad can be with someone else and sleep with her, then why can’t he be in a marriage for sex only. Having heard enough, Sharon slaps him before stalking away. Gloria and Kevin are not amused by Michael’s suggestion to have someone else representing her in her case. Michael tells them that if it comes down to it, and if William continues to dig into everything regarding them, he could find himself not only out of a job, but be publically humiliated for representing the very person he helped cover up a crime. He tells them that the best option is to hire a new lawyer; Christine Blaire. Kevin tells Gloria that it might work out if they did that; Gloria, however, refuses to let Michael step down as her lawyer. COMMERCIAL Nikki and Victor are clinking their glasses, toasting to a wonderful victory of bringing down Jack. Nikki is stunned to learn as how far Jack went to get control of Jabot. As the two of them are talking, they are unaware that a very intoxicated Jack has emerged. Several patron whisper as he passes by them. Nikki looks up and nods in Jack’s direction, warning Victor that trouble was on his way. Owen Smith, after hearing Amber sing, tells Devon that he has truly found his calling. He informs Amber that she is the voice that he is looking for. An excited Amber asks what all of it means. He tells her that he wants her to come out to Los Angeles to meet some of his team that would be quite impressed with her. Devon looks on, smiling that Lily’s wish for Amber to leave may be coming true. Before Victor even realizes what’s going on, Jack is at their table, blasting them for ruining his life. Victor booms that Jack’s life was ruined because of his greed and manipulations within his own family. Jack tries to take a swing at Victor but stumbles. Victor glares at him, and says that John Abbott would be disgusted at the sight of his son.
  4. Dru's 'true love' finds it's way back into her heart As the media rushes to capture the stunning scene around them, Sharon watches in horror, as Jack’s debate comes unraveled. Not knowing what to do, she stands still, keeping her eyes on the ashen face of Jack. Jack, not knowing what was happening, couldn’t muster a word; despite the swirl of reporters demanding to know what he had to say for himself. Kevin didn’t think is evening could get any worse; not only did he have to deal with handling the arrangements for Jana’s cremation, but he was still dealing with the ramifications that were about to hit his mother hard because of the skin cream tainting. As he walks into the athletic club, his stomach drops even further when he sees Amanda Gibson talking to Gina briefly. Knowing that he would be risking a lot, Kevin made his way over towards her table. A stone-cold Lauren folded her hands as she gave Michael his only option. Turning his back from her, Michael tells his wife that he can’t just turn away from Gloria when she needs him so much. Lauren tells Michael that it was her selfish need that is costing him his marriage. As the two are talking heatedly, Gloria slips into the apartment, listening to every word. Sitting on the couch of their home, Neil is talking to Drucilla about his day at work. He tells her that yet again Brad has been trying to weasel his way into the Grandville Global project. Dru tells Neil that Brad is just hating on him. Stroking his wife’s hair, he asks her if she anything interesting happen to her. Smiling a little, Dru tells Neil that she did in fact have some news to share. OPENING SEQUENCE Randall, knowing that he got Jack right where he wanted him, looks on, as the reporters and the rest of the press grill Jack for answers about his illegal doings. When a reporter questions where Randall received his information, he quickly shifts the gears, telling the reporter that Jack’s history speaks for itself; purposely using the recent case against Jabot as a prime example. The media, soon tiring of Jack’s lack of answers, start to turn ugly. Neil asks Dru about news, curious as to what has put a smile on her face. Looking up at him, she reaches for a magazine, and opens it up to an ad for NVP. Not understanding what she is getting, at, he questions what the ad has to do with the news she has. Excitedly, Dru tells Neil that Nikki and Phyllis (to which Neil’s eyes grow wide over) offered her the job of NVP spokes model. Neil asks how Nikki made that decision. Dru tells him that Nikki regained power and made an executive decision to have a new spokes model. Neil asks her if she’ll take it Amanda looks up as Kevin approaches her table. She asks why he’s there lurking around. He asks her if he can have a minute of her time. Checking her watch, she tells Kevin to make it quick. Not wasting anytime, he asks Amanda if he can just forgive his mother for what she did; that it was never her intention to kill anyone. Amanda tells Kevin that ‘forgive’ is not in her vocabulary, especially for the woman that took away her family. He again begs Amanda to drop the charges against Gloria. Glaring at him, she tells him there is no chance in hell. Still standing in the archway, Gloria continues to listen to Lauren berate Michael for being there for his mother. She is completely stunned that Lauren, someone who at one time confided in her, would so quickly turn her back on her. Lauren excuses herself to go into the room to change Fen; and once Michael is alone, Gloria emerges, asking her son if she will take Lauren’s advice and cast her out. Michael tells Gloria that he will not abandon her, especially when she needs him. COMMERCIAL Trying to bypass the media, Jack hurries to get to safe territory. Sharon, right behind him, can’t believe the things that were said about Jack in the debate. Could it be true that Jack owned Jabot all along? Not paying attention to Sharon’s being there, Jack mutters that he has to find David, to see how in the world this could have happened to him. As he makes his way towards David’s office, he can see that it is definitely empty. As he looks around, he notices that everything he’s had in his office has been removed. Slumping into a chair, Jack realizes that David left him high and dry. Handing Drucilla a glass of wine, Neil asks her if she has made her decision about the NVP spokes model position. Holding the glass of wine, Dru tells him it depends on how his feelings are about the offer. Smiling a little, Neil tells her that he thinks that it’s a wonderful opportunity, and that Nikki has made the right choice in wanting her. The two clink glasses in celebration. At the athletic club, Kevin tries to keep his anger in check. Lowering his voice, he tells Amanda that seeking revenge will never bring her parents back. Appalled at what Kevin has insinuated, Amanda lets him have it; telling him that anybody that would knowingly keep silent about their parents actions isn’t much of a human being. At that moment, JT, who is meeting Amanda for dinner, comes into the picture, warning Fisher to stay away from Amanda. COMMERCIAL Michael tells Gloria that she needs to go, since Lauren is still there. Gloria gives her son a quick hug, telling him that she will be forever grateful for his standing by her. When Gloria leaves, Lauren returns, holding Fen and the diaper bag. She tells Michael that he should really get himself out of the mess that he’s put himself in. Sitting on the couch, he asks her what he should do. Lauren tells him that the first step he should take is removing himself as Gloria’s lawyer. Still sitting in David’s empty office, Jack lifts his head from his hands. Looking around, he asks out loud how it could have come to this. Sitting beside him, Sharon tries to comfort Jack, telling him that despite everything that has happened, she will never leave his side. Staring at her, Jack seethes that she is the last person that he would want by his side. Taken aback, Sharon asks why Jack is snapping at her. He tells her that ever since he found out the truth about her whoring it up with Brad, he can barely contain himself to look at her. Coming from out of the bedroom, Dru, donned in a robe, goes to the telephone. Sitting on the couch, basking in the afterglow if celebratory love-making, she dials Nikki’s telephone number. As she waits for her to pick up, Dru thinks about how the return to her first love is going to feel. When Nikki, who is on the other end, says hello, Dru tells her that she is more than willing to step into the role of NVP spokes model
  5. Now I know why I put this back on my favorite's list.... First off, loving seeing the change in Michael....it's a long time coming, and with Jake Weary in the role, it's even more of a delight to read. Love that he is pushing the past back into Carly's face; it was bound to happen, and I'm glad that at the age he is, he's not backing down from what has happened. Jason's at his breaking point, and even Sonny can't help him....It's time that Jason pushes Sonny to the side for awhile so he can actually get his own life, especially with the realization that Sam is alive, in order. Sonny can't expect him to be his "Every man". Awesome job in having Jason putting Sonny on notice too...always love seeing Sonny's mouth close shut Excellent episode, Ryan....and wonderful new additions to your cast.
  6. Fantabulous opening Ryan....
  7. Jack's world publically spins out of control for all to witness Time is ticking for Jack, as he plans for his first political debate with Randall. As he’s going over his notes, Sharon walks in the door. Looking up, he can tell that she’s still upset at Nikki’s decision to fire her from NVP. Putting his notes down, he goes over to her and suggests that she go along with him to get her mind off of what has happened. Sharon tells him that she will be there by his side, just as he has been by hers. At the Athletic Club, Victor and Randall are discussing things regarding the debate over lunch. Holding the folder with the damaging information on Jack, Victor hands it over to him. Opening it up, Radall sees the copy of the will along with information that Jack was in fact the owner of Jabot. Closing it, Randall tells him that when Jack is least expecting the other shoe to drop, he will unleash the cold hard truth for all to hear. Devon is getting ready to head out to meet friends when he passes by the bathroom door. Stopping in mid stride, he hears Amber singing. He’s pleasantly surprised by how good she sounds. Making his way down the stairs, he quickly scribbles a note for her to meet up with him at Crimson Lights. Dru exits the elevator, heading for Nikki’s office. When she arrives, she is surprised to see that Phyllis is there. Nikki cuts right to the chase; they need a new NVP spokes model; and she’s the one that would be perfect for the job. Dru immediately asks what happened to Sharon. Nikki tells her that now that she owns NVP, some changes needed to be made. An excited Dru asks them if she can talk it over with Neil and get back to them. Phyllis and Nikki agree to let her take some time. Lauren, still at Michael’s wants to know what possessed him to run off with their child. Michael tells her that he was so hurt that she left him that he wasn’t thinking rationally. He asks her why they can’t work on things. Lauren tells him that she can’t stay with a man that has lied and covered up things from her. She tells him that if he ever wants to have a chance at reconciling he has only one choice; stop defending and protecting Gloria. He tells her that he can’t just turn his back on his mother; Lauren says that if he wants to be a part of her life, as well as Fen’s, he will need to let Gloria pay for all her crimes. Amber meets up with Devon. Handing her a caramel latte, he asks her how long she’s been singing. She tells him that she’s been singing since she was a young girl; it’s the best release she has when she wants to pour her heart out. Devon admits to hearing her sing while she was in the shower and expresses how wonderful her voice is. Blushing, Amber eats up the compliment. She eats up more of his praise when he tells her that she would be perfect for a record. Just then, Lily, who has walked in, looks at them from a distance. At the Athletic Club, JT is hard at work on the weight machines when he notices Amanda walking in. Stepping away from the equipment, he approaches her, surprised to see her again. Amanda smiles and asks him if he has a membership there. When he tells her he does, he asks why she wants to know. Amanda tells him that she’s thinking of joining. Flirting with her, JT says maybe she should join him for dinner so he can tell her of all the things about Genoa City. Amanda happily agrees to go out with him. When Amber leaves the coffee shop, Lily, quickly approaches Devon, sharing her dislike for his getting close to the woman that caused her marriage so much trouble. Devon tells Lily that she needs to deal with her issues with Amber on her on; he has nothing to do with them. Hurt that he’s not taking her side, Lily tells him she wishes the blonde would just leave Genoa City for good. Devon tells Lily that if she wants Amber gone, he may have the exact opportunity to make that happen. He quickly excuses himself to go make a phone call. The debate between Randall and Jack is in full swing. People all over Genoa City are either listening at the actual debate, or have turned on their television sets to see what is to come. The debate turns ugly when Randall slams Jack for being a man that lacks integrity and family values. Jack tries to defend himself, stating that his father has always taught him the meaning of being a man of honesty and integrity; both in business and within the family. Randall asks Jack if he thought it was honest and a sign of integrity when he purposely forged a new will to oust his father’s wife out of anything that was owed her. Randal continues on to say that it must have been that same ‘integrity’ that had him plot and scheme to use another man to front his buying back the company he was tossed out from. Jack is completely numb as photographers snap images of his world falling apart around him. NEXT WEEK ON GENOA CITY JACK: Face it Sharon, the only thing you're good at is offering amazing sex. SHARON: I'm not going to stand here while you insult me. NIKKI: Victor, despite all that you have done for me, I still need time to think things out regarding us. DRU: Oh, I know I didn't just hear you say you're taking a trip to Los Angeles with that hootch Amber? DEVON: This is business, Dru, nothing more. DRU: Whatever it is, I'll be damned if I let my son get wrapped around that girl's finger.
  8. With NVP back in her control, Nikki tosses out the trash A distraught Lauren, who is with Katherine, can’t believe that Michael has taken their child from her. Katherine tells her that she needs to rest, but Lauren argues that she can’t rest until she knows that her son is fine. In tears, she requests that Katherine makes a phone call to Paul. Kevin, who has been given the responsibility of taking care of the remains of Jana, is contacting the morgue to come in to visualize the body. When he hangs up the phone, he grabs his keys in disgust. All he can think about is having the reign of Jana gone from his life forever. Sitting in his kitchen Brad checks his watch. He wants to make sure that he gives Jill plenty of time to get to the office before he makes his phone call to set up a meeting to present some ideas about Jabot. Making his way to the door, he goes outside the check the mail; and to his dismay, he finds an envelope that is clearly marked with the address of a law firm. Over on the other side of Genoa City, Nikki is feasting on a fruit salad, relishing over her ideas of the changes she has in store for all involved with NVP. Victor, having left ahead of time, has given her the go ahead to do what she feels is necessary; and now that the company is in her hands again, she has one big change that she wants to make; and it begins with a certain ‘troublesome’ blonde. OPENING SEGMENT Walking the halls of Newman Enterprises, JT makes his way towards Victoria’s office. When he knocks on the door, he is surprised at how happy she is to see him. Embracing in a quick hug, she lets JT inside, closing the door. Sitting back at her desk, she asks him when he got back; to which he explains the day before. She asks if he’s seen Colleen, but he brushes it off by asking her if she would like to go out for dinner to talk some. Victoria declines, telling him that a lot has changed since he’s left, and that going out may not be the wise thing to do. Opening the envelope, Brad reads the decree in the divorce papers. As he is flipping through the pages, he feels tightness in his stomach as he sees Victoria’s signature on the final page. Placing the papers on his coffee table, he decides that he needs to get business in order. Dialing Jill’s number, he tells her that he would like to see her as soon as he can to discus Jabot business. At the morgue, Kevin ruefully identifies Jana. When he is asked what should be done with the body, Kevin requests to spend a moment alone with the body before making his decision. When no one is with him in the morgue, he relishes at the fact that Jana got what she deserved. He hisses that he wish it was he that did her in, and wants to ‘thank’ the person that put an end to her. When the mortician comes back in, Kevin tells him that he can cremate her as soon as he can. Paul immediately comes to the Chancellor mansion. He quickly embraces Katherine and makes his way to a distraught Lauren. He informs her that he received the police report that she did the following night. Lauren tells Paul that he has to arrest Michael for kidnapping. She’s upset when Paul tells her that no charges can be brought against Michael. Since he’s the biological father, technically he is doing nothing wrong. COMMERCIAL JT questions why Victoria is declining having dinner with him. She tells her that she filed for divorce and wants to make sure that Brad has nothing to use against her if he decides to play dirty. Understanding, he tells Victoria that if at any time she needs to talk, does not hesitate to call him. As he’s leaving her office, accidentally bumps into Amanda Gibson. Both smile at one another as they exchange apologies. Nikki, upon arriving to Newman Enterprises, tells Victoria that she’s on her way to making some serious changes to NVP. Victoria tells her mother how happy she is that Nikki is back in control over the company she worked hard to start. Nikki hugs her daughter, and immediately picks up the phone, instructing Phyllis to meet her within a few hours to discuss NVP business. When she hangs up the phone, she looks up to see Sharon standing in the doorway. Victoria glares at Sharon before retreating to the break room. Slipping on her shoes, and grabbing her keys, Lauren tells Paul that if the police won’t do anything about getting her son back, she will do it herself. Paul tries to dissuade her from running over there; there’s no telling how intense things could get. Lauren tells Paul either he’s with her or against her; no matter what he says, she’s going to get her son back. Paul quickly follows behind her, in hopes that things don’t escalate even further. Kevin is back at Crimson Lights when a courier comes in to deliver the urn with Jana’s remains. Signing off on the delivery, Kevin places the urn on the counter briefly before scooping it up in his hands. Walking out the back door, he takes one last look at the urn before throwing it in the garbage can in the alley way. COMMERCIAL In the hallway, JT and Amanda are talking a little when Victoria makes her way in their direction. Feeling a twinge of envy, Victoria immediately breaks up the pleasantries between them. She asks Amanda is she can help her with something. Amanda tells Victoria she has a meeting with Nick Newman for the position of public relations. Victoria tells her that Nick is out of town, however, she will be more than happy to conduct the interview with her. Closing the door behind her, Sharon asks Nikki if everything is okay. Nikki gives her the news of being back in charge of NVP. Sharon questions how that could be possible, since Jack was the one that owned it. Nikki sneers, telling Sharon that the great Jack Abbott had no choice but to return the company back to its rightful owner; and now that he has, there is one thing that will definitely change. Sharon questions what it could be. A delighted Nikki tells her ex daughter-in-law that effective immediately, she no longer will be representing her company as spokesperson. At Jabot, Brad is presenting his idea to Jill. Jill looks them over and immediately questions why Brad is so determined to impress her. He tells Jill that with all the scandal swarming around Jabot regarding the skin cream tampering, they need to do whatever to put Jabot back on the map. Looking over the information again, Jill tells him that maybe they can work on something to make his ideas work. Banging on the door, Lauren demands that Michael let her in. When he opens the door, it is obvious that he is haggard. Pushing past him, she asks him where her son is. Paul, who is on her heels walks in, telling Michael that for the sake of everyone, including the baby, that it would be best to let Lauren have Fen. Michael tells Paul to butt out and facing Lauren tells her that he will give her Fen once the two of them have a serious talk. Phyllis walks in Nikki’s office, asking what’s up. Nikki tells Phyllis that Jack no longer is in charge of NVP; power has been restored back to the Newman’s. Phyllis is ecstatic and asks what is on the agenda to get things back to the way they should be. Nikki tells Phyllis she will be happy to know that Sharon will no longer be NVP spokesperson. A smile planted on her lips, Phyllis says that she has the perfect person that will be an excellent replacement for Sharon. Nikki is all ears.
  9. Michael finds himself taking off with Fen Devon and Lily are discussing some of the key points that took place at the music producer seminar. Smiling, Lily expresses gratitude to Devon for getting her out of the house. He tells her that he just wants her to have a good time. A young man comes up to them and announces that they have refreshments and appetizers if they are interested. Both stand up and head in that direction. Daniel contacts Amber and asks her if she has any ideas on ways he can put a smile on Lily's face. Amber tells him that the best thing he can do is bake her favorite dessert. He tells Amber that he will need some help in doing that. Not hesitating, Amber tells him that she will be over right away. Coming into the house Brad calls out to Abby, to let her know that he is home. When she doesn't answer back, he assumes that she could be napping. Heading upstairs, he goes to her room. Worry sets in when she isn't there. Checking into the kitchen he finds that area empty too. He then proceeds to go outside, hoping she is outside playing. When she isn't there either, he begins to worry that something seriously bad has happened. Victoria is pouring herself a cup of tea when she hears the doorbelling ringing. Going to the door, she sees Abby standing on the other end. Surprised to see the young girl she asks what brings her by. Hugging Victoria, she tells her step-mother that she wanted to surprise her. Laughing a little, Victoria tells her she did the job. Looking around, Victoria questions Abby if her father knows that she is there. OPENING SEGMENT Jack asks Victor how he went to great lengths to dig into his personal business. Victor tells Jack that he made a costly mistake using his illness as a way to get NVP from him. Nobody makes a fool out of him and gets away with it. Jack demands to know what Victor wants in an attempt to keep him quiet about Jabot. It's simple, Victor tells him; sign over NVP and he'll disregard how low he stooped to get what he wanted from John before he died. Stepping into the coffee house, JT makes him way up to the counter. Kevin, who emerges from the back, is stunned to see JT at Crimson Lights. He quickly asks him what he's doing there. JT points out that he is looking for him. Scoffing, Kevin tells JT that they have nothing to talk about. The young private investigator tells him that one name will make him pay attention: Jana. Michael, not being able to stand being away from Lauren and their son, walks up to the door of the Chancellor mansion. Ringing the doorbell, he awaits as Esther opens the door to him. Stepping inside, he asks if Lauren is there. Esther, knowing just a little of what's going on between them immediately calls for Katherine. When Katherine steps into the master living room, she shoos Esther away. Before Michael can say anything, Katherine tells him that Lauren is upstairs, however, he is the last person that she wants to see. Abby tells Victoria that her father doesn't know that she came to see her. Victoria chastises the girl for running off without telling anyone where she was going. Picking up the phone, she calls Brad to tell him that Abby is with her. When she hangs up, she wants to know why she came to see her. Abby tells her that she wanted to see her and ask her why she isn't staying at home with them anymore. Not knowing how to answer the question, Victoria tells Abby that she will need to wait till her father comes over so they can all talk together. COMMERCIAL With the seminar winding down, Devon and Lily decide to go to Crimson Lights real quick to have some coffee and discuss the seminar. As they come in, they can see that Kevin is talking to JT. Both comment on being surprised to see him, but opt not to go over to say hello. Taking their seats, both laugh at some of the comments that were made while the seminar was going on. Smiling, Devon tells Lily that he is glad to see her laughing again. When the waitress comes to take their order, Devon suggests they head by to the house. Kevin wants to know what JT means by his not liking the news he has. He assumes that Jana got out of sight again, but JT assures him that Jana is no longer a threat. Shaking his head, Kevin tries to tell JT that as long as Jana is alive, she will always be a threat. JT stops him from talking further. He tells him that Jana isn't a threat, considering that she's been murdered. Opening a file, JT confirms his information. Daniel is looking over the ingredients for the recipe. Shaking his head, he looks helplessly at Amber, worried that he's gotten himself into more trouble than he realized. Laughing at him, Amber takes the cookbook from his hands and begins mixing the ingredients for the lemon cake they are going to make. Not taking too kindly to being laughed at, Daniel takes some flour and blows it in her direction, getting it in her face. Dropping the cookbook, Amber does the same thing, chasing Daniel throughout the apartment. Neither of them are aware that Devon and Lily have come home. Devon approaches the two of them and when they realize they are not alone, Daniel immediately tries to approach Lily; however, Lily, losing all the happiness she had earlier, opts to just walk out without a single word. Jack feels that Victor is bluffing. Victor tells him that it is far from being a bluff, pointing out that if Jack does not comply with his request, the campaign that he's worked so hard for will be ruined. How much scandal does he need, Victor questions. Feeling that he's losing a battle he's never really won, Jack tells Victor that he will give NVP back to him, on the condition he has the documents that could seal his fate. Sliding the folder over to him, Victor tells Jack he is doing the 'wise' thing. Tail between his legs, Jack huffs out of Victor's office. Picking up the phone, Victor places a phone call to Nikki to meet him in his office right away. COMMERCIAL Brad arrives at the Newman ranch, relieved that Abby is safe and sound. Holding on to the girl's shoulders he tells her that she is to never do what she did again. Abby tells her father that she wanted to see Victoria and ask why she's no longer staying with them. Looking up at Victoria, Brad asks her if she told her anything. Victoria says that she wanted them both to sit down with Abby and explain what is going on. Brad tells his young daughter that Victoria will no longer be living with them. He asks her if she remembers when he and her mother decided to live apart. The young girl nods and starts to cry, telling both adults that she doesn't want them to break up. Nikki comes into the office and asks her husband what was so urgent for her to come to his office. Smiling, Victor removes himself from his desk and approaches his wife. Taking her hands, he tells her that he has wonderful news for her. Curiously looking at him, she wonders what his news could be. Victor informs Nikki that the great Jack Abbott is in fact the owner of Jabot, and that in order to save his reputation, will be giving Nikki NVP back. Nikki is ecstatic. When the joy wears off, Victor reveals that only thinks he will have a successful shot as senator. Opening his drawer, Victor shows her the actual documents that he will use to officially bring him down. JT tells Kevin that since Jana has no family, he will be the one that has to call the shots in terms of how she should be buried. Kevin scoffs at the idea of having the responsibility to bury the woman that made his life, along with so many others, a living hell. JT tells him that someone will most likely contact him about burial arrangements. Kevin quips that as far as he's concerned, they can light a match and let her burn for all he cares. Michael tells Katherine that despite what's going on, he has every right to still see his son. Katherine suggests that he give Lauren some time to cool off. Not one to take orders, Michael tells Katherine that Lauren has had plenty of time to cool off, and that he wants to see his child. Without another word, Michael bypasses Katherine and heads upstairs in search for his wife and baby. When he finds Lauren, he closes the door and tells her it's time that the two of them talk; no questions asked. Lauren tells Michael that they have nothing to talk about and that it would be in her best interest that he leave. He refuses, telling her, that as long as he is Fen's father, he will always be around her. Things between them get heated, causing the baby to cry. In anger, Michael scoops his son up in his arms and retreats downstairs with him, telling Lauren that he will be damned if he is denied any time with his flesh and blood.
  10. JT's back in Genoa City and has some parting words for Colleen Brad can't believe that Victor and the rest of the Newman family want him to step down from the Newman board position. Staring at Victoria, he asks her if she truly wants it to be this way between them. Before she can answer, Nick tells Brad that his free ride on the Newman train is over. Breaking up the heated exchange, Victor bellows that Brad either step down from his board seat or experience a fight he will never be able to recover from. Unlocking the door to the loft, JT Helstrom steps inside. Dropping his bags, he heads for the telephone to check to see if there were any messages on his answering machine; there are none. As he looks around the loft, he notices a few of Colleen's things still there. Rolling his eyes, he goes to his closet and grabs an empty box. The sooner she's out of his life, the better, he thought. Lily is brooding at home when Devon walks in. Not bothering to look up, she asks him if he is having fun with his new friend, Amber. Tossing the keys on the table, Devon sits next to her and tells her that she needs to forget about Amber and focus on getting her relationship with Daniel on track. Scoffing a little, Lily tells Devon that as long as she looks 'plain and ordinary', Daniel will never give her the much needed attention as he does his porn ladies. Devon, taking Lily's hand pulls her up on her feet and instructs her to get dressed. They have somewhere to go. Kevin stops by Michael's to see how Gloria is holding up. Looking around, he notices that Lauren in fact held true to her word in leaving Michael. When Michael comes out of the kitchen with two cups of coffee, Kevin asks him what their game plan is. Gloria tells them both that she will not implicate them. She will never say a word as to who helped her. Michael tells her that it won't be all that easy in preventing the truth from coming out. OPENING SEGMENT Throwing Colleen's belongings in the box, JT thinks back to how happy they once were. Running a hand through his hair, he thinks back to how his jealousy towards her relationship with the professor nearly cost him his job and his reputation. Flipping open his cell phone, he dials Colleen's number. When she answers, he tells her that he's back in Genoa City and that he wants to see her. Shoving the phone back in his pocket, he grabs the box and keys and walks out the door. Lily asks Devon where they are going and why she needs to be dressed up. Devon dismisses her questions and tells her to just go with him, it will most definitely put her spirits in a positive setting. Rolling her eyes, Lily pulls out her compact to check her make-up. She agrees with Devon that getting out of the house may be the one thing to help her get her mind off of Daniel. Hugging his sister, Devon tells her that she will definitely have a wonderful time. Not being in the mood to be bullied, Brad warns Victor that he will not under any circumstances step down from the Board of Director's position. He worked hard to get it and he's not going to give it up just because of Victor's displeasure of his marital problems with Victoria. Nikki laughs at Brad, and tells him that the only thing he worked hard at was lying and conniving to get to where he was; that has always been his ammo to get what he wants. Victoria tells Brad that if he had any care for her at all, he'll take much needed advice and step down. Brad tells them they can all go to hell. Kevin asks Michael how it can be possible for them to be put on the hot seat with Gloria. Michael tells Kevin that the minute he found out about the skin cream being tainted, instead of presenting it to someone, they all decided to cover it up. He also points out that he could lose his license if it were discovered that he represented Jack, while fully knowing that Jack were innocent of all wrong doings. Kevin fears that Gloria will become too emotional and mistakenly blurt out the truth of their involvement. Gloria swears that she would do anything to protect them; which includes lying. Michael warns Gloria that it was lying that got them into the mess they are in now. COMMERCIAL At the Abbott mansion, Colleen is curled up with a book when the doorbell rings. Placing the book on the couch, she walks to the door and opens it to see JT. She steps aside to let him in. JT places the box of her belongings on the floor and tells her that he is sure that she will want her things out of the loft. Colleen remarks that JT looks good, and is glad that he is back. Waving a hand at her comment, JT tells her to save the lies. She was more than happy to see him having to leave Genoa City. When Lily and Devon step inside the building, she is in awe at how many people are there. She turns to ask him where they are. Devon explains that he was invited to attend a music producer seminar and he wanted her to attend with him. Lily is all smiles when he explains that his hopes is to learn as much as he can. She tells Devon that their parents would be so proud of him at what he wants to accomplish. The two of them take their seats, awaiting the beginning of the seminar. Not pleased at Brad's refusal to step down and leave Newman, Victor tells Brad that every man has a price, and it would be best if Brad wised up and name his. Nikki tells Brad that he's a fool to want to stay in a family empire where he is definitely not wanted. Looking over at Victoria, Brad asks her if she wants him to leave. When she doesn't say anything, Brad realizes that he's being backed up against the wall. He then asks Victor what he's willing to pay to see him out of he company. Victor smiles, taking out a pen and paper, all too willing to show him what Brad is truly worth. Gloria can't understand why Michael and Kevin both feel that she would let them take the heat for her crimes. Kevin tells his mother that William Bardwell is not one to just roll over and accept someone's story as 100% truth; that he will dig and dig till he finds what he needs to find. Michael informs Gloria that during the course of this trial, thing will be stressful for them all. He makes the suggestion that she find someone else to represent her. She refuses, telling Michael that he's the best lawyer for her. Michael tells her that if he's going to be brought into the center of things there is no way that he can defend her. He warns her that they all need to be prepared for when the other shoe drops. COMMERCIAL Sliding the piece of paper over towards Brad, Victor tells him that it will be the only price that he will give to get Brad out of their lives. Looking at the figure written on the paper, Brad smirks a little, still floored at how far Victor would go to remove him from his company. Standing up, Brad tells Victor that he accepts his offer. The sooner they can finalize their 'deal' the sooner he can get on with his life and they with theirs. Walking towards he door, he takes one final look at Victoria, who glares at him. Shaking his head, he walks out the door. Colleen tries to explain that she was worried about him; and worried that he would do something to hurt someone or himself. JT tells her that he is long over what went down, but he won't forget all that she did. She asks him if in time they can be friends again. JT shakes his head and walks back towards the door, telling her as far as he's concerned, their friendship died a long time ago when she stopped believing in him. He lets the door slam shut as he walks out. Shortly after their meeting with Brad, all parties have left the office except for Victor. Picking up the phone, he instructs Jack to come into his office. Minutes later, Jack arrives and asks Victor what's up. Victor tells Jack that he has some vital information to share with him. Curious, Jack asks what it is. Opening his desk drawer, Victor pulls out a folder and places it on the desk. He opens it to reveal to Jack two copies of a will. A stunned Jack asks Victor where he got it. Victor tells Jack that it doesn't matter where he received it; all that matters is that he now has proof that he tricked his father into signing everything over to him, leaving Gloria in the cold. Before Jack can speak, Victor continues by stating that he is very aware that Jabot is in fact owned by him and not Ji Min. Jack, sick to his stomach, can do nothing but stand in pure silence. Cleaning off his desk, Brad decides to make a phone call to Jill. Smiling smugly, he asks if the position at Jabot is still open. When he is told that it is, he suggests that they set up a meeting to meet to discuss the opportunity. Letting the phone hit the cradle, Brad thinks to himself that Victor may have thought he won the first round, but he, along with all of Newman, will soon learn that it is going to be a battle to the very end.
  11. Brad finds himself in shark infested waters with the Newmans Jill makes her arrival to Jabot a few minutes early. Once on her floor, she notices the door to Cane’s office open. Upon walking in, she sees him placing his belongings in a box. Knocking on the door, she startles the young man. Cane tells Jill that he didn’t expect to see her so early. She replies back that she didn’t expect to see him packing up all of belongings either, and wonders what is going on. At the Newman ranch, both Victor are having a quick breakfast together. Nikki mentions to her husband that she found a sure fire way to get Brad out of their lives once and for all. Putting his coffee down, he asks what type of plan she’s working on. Smiling knowingly at him, she tells Victor that once he hears it, he will be more than pleased that she is letting some of his underhanded tactics come in handy. Opening the door to the Carlton home, Victoria looks around to make sure she is in fact alone. Heading upstairs, she makes her way to the master bedroom she shared with Brad. Pain suddenly hits her as she realizes that she is there to close the door on their relationship. Pulling suitcases out of the closet, Victoria proceeds to begin packing. At Newman Enterprises, Jack is going over his itinerary and realizes that today is the day for his photo shoot with Sharon. Letting a deep frown set in, Jack realizes that he will have to work extra hard to pretend that all is glorious with Sharon and he. Looking at the itinerary again, he lets his anger set in, causing him to throwing his day planner against the wall. OPENING SEGMENT Looking at the box that he was filling, Cane stops packing and steps from the desk. He explains to Jill that after some thought and consideration, he will take the job that Katherine has offered him at Chancellor. A devastated Jill can’t believe that once again Katherine has wedged herself into her life. She tells Cane that she can’t accept that he is going to be taking a job with Katherine; the same woman that sold him in a drunken stupor. A frustrated Cane tells Jill that despite all that has happened he will not turn down a wonderful opportunity. Sharon makes her way into the break room to grab a cup of coffee before deciding to locate Jack. She immediately spots Drucilla sitting at the table and begins talking to her. Midway through their conversation, Jack steps in and informs Sharon that they will be doing their photo shoot in a few hours. Sharon’s about to ask Jack a question about the shoot, but he tells her he has to get back to work. Once gone, Sharon informs Dru about how Jack reacted towards the news about her affair. Dru wonders why Jack suddenly changed his mind about marriage. Sharon can’t fully understand why Jack had a change of heart. Victoria is placing her clothing in her suitcases when Brad arrives home. When he gets upstairs, he sees that Victoria is closing one of her suitcases. He asks her if she really wants to walk away from their marriage. Victoria, not looking up at him, tells him that he no longer has a say in what she wants; pointing out that he didn’t care at all about her when he decided to cheat on her with Sharon. Brad spots the picture of Victoria and Abby and comments that they should at least wait till she comes home to break the news. Victor and Nikki, both in Victor’s office, discuss when they should get the rest of the family together to trump Brad out of Newman. Nikki the sooner they remove Brad, the sooner Victoria can get on with her life. Victor stresses that he will not be lenient with Brad. Nikki tells him that before the day is over, Brad will have no choice but to step out and leave the Newman family. COMMERCIAL David meets up with Jack, preparing him for next week’s press conference. He lets him know that he has to keep up the image that he and Sharon are doing well and that nothing will break up their commitment together. Jack tells him that it’s going to take an extra amount of strength to lie to everyone that he loves her. He questions how he could ever remain close to a woman that opened her legs for another man and turn around and accept him proposal as if nothing happened. David reminds him that Sharon isn’t the one that will become Senator; he is, and he must do whatever it takes to get the vote; even if it means pretending to love someone that has betrayed him. Katherine is on the phone with the IT department when Cane walks in. Sitting down in a chair, he waits for her to end her telephone call. After a few minutes, Katherine hangs up the phone and greets her grandson. She asks him if he is ready to see his new office, to which Cane is all ready for. The two of them are on their way out when Jill barges in. Not mincing words, Jill tells Katherine that she has a lot of gall to go behind her back and plan out her son’s life for him. Jill continues her tirade until Cane stops her. He puts Jill on alert and tells her that he forgave Katherine a long time ago; she should be big enough to do the same thing. Victoria tells Brad that she doesn’t think that today is the best time to tell Abby about their break-up; she’s been through a lot and the last thing she needs is to deal with something that may be too much for her. Brad points out that Abby has been asking already as to why she’s not around. Closing her last suitcase, Victoria lets Brad know that she will spend the day with Abby, and she, alone, will talk to the young girl about what’s going on. COMMERCIAL Victoria arrives back at Newman Enterprises, per request of Victor and Nikki. When she goes into their office, she sees that Nick is also there. Puzzled, she questions what is going on. Victor, closing the door behind her, informs her that it is time to put Brad on ice. For the first time in a long time, Victoria agrees and tells her father that the sooner Brad is stripped of power the better. Nick says it’s a long time coming and that he won’t shed one tear for the money grubber. Picking up the telephone, Victor calls Brad, informing him that he is needed for a very important meeting; no questions asked. At the photo shoot, the photographer can sense that there is some sort of tension between Sharon and Jack. When he makes the suggestion that Sharon lean close towards Jack, with her hand upon his chest, Jack tries to switch positions to where he’s not looking at her. Sharon can tell that things are still not right between them, despite Jack’s persistence to doing the photo shoot. Once the shoot is complete, Sharon asks Jack why he’s acting so distant towards her. He quickly kisses her and tells her he just has a lot on his mind. When Brad arrives to Victor’s office, he’s surprised to see the whole Newman brood there. Victor instructs Brad to close the door. Once inside, Brad takes a seat and asks what kind of emergency are they facing at Newman? Victor approaches Brad and tells him that they have some serious matters to discuss. Nikki, with arms folded, tells Brad that it’s time that he faces harsh reality: he’s no longer needed at Newman Enterprises. Brad can do nothing but stare at each of them.

Lauren tells Michael that Gloria didn't care about getting respect; all she wanted was the Abbott power to swim in. The question comes up about their marriage. Turning her back on him Lauren quickly tells him that there is no marriage without trust; and the day he covered up Gloria and Kevin's crimes was the day their marriage died. Michael instinctively tries to hold her, but is pushed away. He begs her as to what he should do? Staring at him icily, Lauren tells him that for his sake and for the sake of his career, he should cut all ties from Gloria and make her fend for herself. Back at the Abbott house, Jack is thinking over David's suggestion to continue his 'relationship' with Sharon. Anger sets in again, as he thinks about having read about Sharon and Brad's affair in the newspaper. Grabbing a glass, he pours himself a stiff drink of scotch. Letting it hit the back of his throat, Jack closed his eyes and thought again about David's words. He did prove to have a valid point; as long as he kept stayed with Sharon, and gave the public the knowledge that they were to wed, then the most likely he will continue to try to keep his image from being tarnished. Placing the glass on the counter, Jack grabs his keys and heads out the door. Victor, sitting across from Mamie, holds a file in his hands. He asks her if this is in fact enough information that is needed to put Jack out of commission. Taking a deep breath, Mamie explains to Victor that she paid John a visit when he was in jail. While there, he voiced concerns as to Jack doing whatever he could to block Gloria and her family from receiving anything if he died. Victor asks her what John might have suspected Jack of doing. Pointing at the file that Victor is holding, Mamie lets him know that John was well aware of the fact that Jack fixed a new will. Colleen and Abby are returning back to the Carlton house from a day of swimming when Brad descends downstairs. Colleen can automatically tell that something is troubling her father. Hoping to God it isn’t the press; she peeks out and is surprised to see Jack. When she lets him in, he tells her that he wants to stay engaged to her. Kevin, for the first time, is unable to defend his mother. Amanda further adds salt to the already ego wounded Gloria by telling her that she isn’t just a murderer but a cold hearted bitch that was so willing to stoop to such levels to get what she wanted. When a waiter comes past them with a platter of drinks, Amanda grabs two. Dumping the drinks on both of them, Amanda says to have a drink on her. Mamie, knowing that Victor has always wanted to bring Jack down, expresses concern that she will be named as the person that gave him the ammunition to use. Closing the file, Victor assures Mamie that he will not inform anyone, including Jack of her being the one that presented her with the will. He tells Mamie as far as her visit is concerned, it never happened. Quickly hugging Victor, Mamie heads out. The minute she is gone, Victor, flips open his cell phone. He tells Randall, who is on the other end, that they have a lot to celebrate: he has the one thing to blow Jack out of the water. In Victor’s office, Nikki and Victoria are discussing the Brad and Sharon situation. Victoria voices that now that Brad and she are married, he’s over his head in believing that he will obtain more power. Nikki assures Victoria that they will be rid of Bradley Carlton once and for all. Sitting in a chair, Victoria asks how that is possible, since he’s obtained a position on the Newman board. Looking out the window, it dawns on Nikki what their option should be. She tells Victoria that one way to remove Brad is to buy him out; and Victor is the one person that can set the plan in motion.

The minute Jill steps off the elevator of Jabot; she is immediately swarmed by reporters demanding to know what Jabot plans to do in regards to Gloria. Trying her best to shoo them away, she is rescued by Ji Min, who announces to the reporters that they will discuss everything in a press conference. Once inside her office, Jill tells Ji Min that she needs to call Katherine. The more help they have in getting the sudden press conference together, the better. Across town, Lauren is reading the Genoa City Times, completely stunned at the news she’s reading about Gloria. She doesn’t have to guess where Michael or Kevin are; they are definitely with their mother. Taking a look at the newspaper again, she debates on whether to go to the police station or to await their arrival. Either way, Lauren was about to find out what in the world Gloria could have been thinking when she decided to ruin so many lives. Jack and David are at Newman Enterprises, discussing ways that they can avoid serious damage to the campaign, thanks to Gloria’s skin cream contamination. Both agree that the best plan of salvaging his campaign is to get the press to focus on Gloria’s hate towards Jack and how she went to great lengths to destroy him. David feels that once the press knows how devious she is, they will paint Jack as the victim. Jack tells David to do whatever he can to get the press back on his side. At the police station, Michael and Kevin are allowed to see Gloria. She immediately runs to them, tears filling her eyes. Randall and Victor are at the Newman ranch talking about the Jabot skin cream case. Victor feels that this is the right information they need to cripple Jack. Randall questions if this will truly break Jack’s spirits and break up his campaign? Victor points out that he knows that Jack is doing all he can to keep his name squeaky clean, therefore, they use whatever they can to discredit Jack; and the one sure fire way is by bringing up his dirty dealings where Jabot is concerned. He wants to depict Jack as being a man who would resort to the most devious tactics to get what he wants. Randall asks where they should begin. Victor pulls out a file of all things Jack Abbott. Lauren is immediately full of questions when Gloria and her sons arrive. Gloria, in full denial mode, tells Lauren that someone had to have ‘framed’ her for the skin cream contamination. Michael tries to reassure his wife that he will do whatever he can to defend Gloria; pointing out that strong evidence is needed to make a conviction, and a DNA test alone doesn’t necessarily mean that she was the one to contaminate the cream. As they are talking, Kevin, who has turned on the television, announces that Jill and Ji Min are holding a press conference. Rushing to take a seat, Gloria is more than curious as to what the two of them will have to say concerning her arrest and Jabot. Jill and Ji Min are answering questions from the media about the arrest of Gloria. Katherine, who is on the sidelines, is proud that the two of them are holding their own against some of the damaging questions being thrown their way. One reporter asks if Ji Min had any reservations in taking Jabot shortly after the contamination. He informs the reporters that when he took Jabot, he was well aware of what had happened, and hoped to have succeeded in getting the company’s reputation back on track. Another reporter asks Jill what Jabot plans on doing about Gloria Fisher, now that she has been exposed. Not hesitating one bit, a furious Jill looks straight into the camera as she announces that as of this moment, Gloria Fisher Abbott is no longer an employee with Jabot Cosmetics. Everyone in Genoa City now knows about our affair! Victor (talking to Nikki and Victoria): Bradley Carlton will pay dearly for playing with the Newman family. You mark my words; he will regret messing with us. Lauren: All of this time, for all these months, you stood idly by, covering up the crimes of your mother. Michael: Lauren please, you have to listen to me…. Lauren: NO! You listen to me…. It’s OVER!

Devon tries to explain to Lily that Amber has no place to stay, but Lily, realizing where the conversation is leading, becomes furious at Devon for even thinking about letting the troublemaking girl stay. Before she can continue on her conversation, she sees Amber bounding down the stairs. Looking at Devon and Daniel, Lily is angry that they allowed her to stay in her house. Amber feigns concern and tells Lily she'll just try to find somewhere else to stay. Wanting to talk to Lily, Daniel tells Devon and Amber to leave. Both head out the door, and once gone, Daniel points out that Devon, not he, was he one that offered to let Amber stay. Lily, cuts him off, telling him that if he ever wants to make things right with her, that he stop all association with Amber. At the Baldwin home, Maggie approaches Gloria, and informs her that she is under arrest for the tampering of the Jabot face cream. Gloria refuses to believe that she is being arrested and steps away when Maggie brings out the cuffs. Michael yells that this can't be true, that someone could have easily made a mistake with the DNA test. Maggie points out that she was there till the tests were finalized, therefore, nothing was compromised. She also tells him to face the fact that his mother is being arrested. Gloria looks at her son with pleading eyes, as Maggie cuffs her and begin reading her rights. Maggie leads Gloria out the door to head for the police station. Nick, sitting on the couch of his home, is looking at his cell phone; contemplating on whether to call Victoria or not. He ran his hands through his hair, angry at so many people that affected his sister's life: angry at Brad and Sharon for being so careless; angry at Phyllis for knowing for such a long time and using it to get what she wanted, and then himself for not going to her soon enough with what he knew. Flipping the phone open, he dialed her number. When she answer the phone, he tries to ask her how she is, but she immediately tells him she doesn't want to talk to him and hangs up. Sighing, he dials her number one more time. This time, it just rings and rings. Sitting the phone on the table, he closes his eyes, wondering what his sister is going to do. When Phyllis comes downstairs, Nick tells her that he told Victoria everything regarding Brad. Phyllis asks how she's holding up. Nick tells her that that is none of her concern. At her home, Victoria sits her cell phone down on the coffee table, arms folded across her chest. While she wasn't outright angry at Nick for telling her about her husband's dirty deeds, she wasn't in any mood being analyzed by him. Just the thought of Sharon in bed with her husband mere weeks after their wedding made Victoria's stomach lurch. Looking at the clock on the wall, she knew that Bad would be arriving home soon. She was more than determined to wipe the look of happiness off is face the minute he walked in the door. She wanted answers and she's determined to get them. At the athletic club, Devon and Amber are sitting across from each other, eating. Amber asks Devon if he ever feels like he's in the middle with everything that is going on between Lily and Daniel. Devon explains that Lily will always be a large part of his life, and when she hurts, so does he. He asks Amber why she created Strangers By Night to begin with; she tells him that it was all for fun and not anything she thought would become be 'well received'. The two continue talking, not realizing that two sets of eyes were on the two of them. When Brad walks in the door, he notices that Victoria is sitting on the couch. Walking towards her, he prepares to kiss his wife, however, when he goes in for the kiss, she moves her head and gets up off of the couch. He immediately senses tension in the room and questions what the matter is. Victoria asks Brad if he saw Sharon today. Looking puzzled, he questions why that question would come up. Not missing a beat, Victoria tells him that she merely wants to know if he's been sniffing around his mistress. When he doesn't respond to the statement, she turns up the heat by telling him that she knows that Brad and Sharon had an affair while in New York. He immediately curses under his breath that Phyllis couldn't keep her mouth shut. Victoria asks him if it is true. Brad tells her that it is, however, it was only one night and he made a commitment for life with Victoria; the woman he loves. Victoria gives her cheating husband a slap for good measure and heads upstairs. Back at the Romalotti home, Daniel insists to Lily that he isn't interested in Amber. Lily says she isn't so sure, making a point of telling him how his whole demeanor changes whenever she is in the room with him. He tells her that Amber is not even a factor in his life, but Lily is. Trying not to let her voice break, Lily questions if he finds Amber attractive. Growing upset, Daniel tells Lily that she can ask all the questions in the world regarding Amber, but the answer would still be the same; he's not attracted to her. At the Genoa City Police Department, Gloria is placed in the interrogation room. Maggie begins to ask her questions about her time spent in the lab the week of the contamination. Gloria tells Maggie she is not saying one word until Michael arrives. Det. Sullivan, not one to give up on getting the goods on someone, asks how Gloria could sit back and say nothing knowing that a woman had died because of her. Not giving in to the detective's tactics, Gloria continues to stay quiet. Picking up her pen and pad, Maggie tells Gloria that she will be back shortly. The minute Maggie is gone, Gloria can feel herself falling apart, as she silently asks John to give her 'strength'. Michael, who has been prohibited from seeing Gloria, is on the phone telling Kevin of all that has happened. Kevin, who is frantic on the other end of the phone, tells his brother that he will be there right away. As he flips the phone closed, he sees Maggie exiting the interrogation room. Michael demands to be let in to see his mother. Unfortunately, Maggie, not being in the mood, tells Michael that there is no way that Gloria will any visitors tonight. Walking away, Michael calls Lauren and tells her that he'll be home late. At the athletic club, Dru can't believe who is together with one another. Dru immediately alerts Neil, who is talking to Gina. Dru refuses to let 'trash' be a part of her children's lives. Neil, who sees the two of them at the table, agrees that Amber is the last person that Devon needed to get involved with. Without hesitation, Dru barges up on the two of them. Glaring at Amber, she tells her that no 'gold-digging' conniving tramp is going to wrap herself around her son. Neil tells Devon to follow him for a talk. The minute Devon leaves with Neil, Dru gives Amber a heated warning. When Amber tells her she's doing nothing wrong, Dru tells her she'll be doing a lot worse if she catches her around her son again. Out in the hall, Neil gives Devon a warning about being too trusting of Amber. Kevin rushes into the police station and spots Michael. He immediately asks him what is going on and if they can see their mother. Michael fills him in all about the DNA testing being conducted and how the wall are closing around Gloria. Kevin immediately tells Michael he has to be her lawyer, it's the only way that he can possibly get her off. Shaking his head, Michael points out that even if he represented her, he, along with Kevin, could all face harsh reality for covering up the truth. Both men go to Maggie to ask if they can see Gloria. Maggie denies their request and tell them that when they come to see her tomorrow, she should have her lawyer present. Maggie heads back into the interrogation room and informs Mrs.. Fisher that she will need to stay in jail overnight. She too reminds Gloria that when morning comes, she will need to get in contact with a lawyer. At the Carlton's, Brad tries to get Victoria to understand that his night with Sharon was one night. Not listening to a word he is saying she throws clothing in a suitcase. Brad said that when she slept with JT, he learned to forgive her, so why can't she do the same for him. Turning on her heels, she barks that when she slept with JT, they broke off their engagement. She tells Brad that the difference between he and her is that she didn't go sniffing around another man a week after getting married. Walking down the stairs, Victoria tells Brad that since he finds his tryst with Sharon no big deal, he shouldn't care in the least that she's leaving him for a while. Next on Genoa City Kevin: Mom, I'll do anything to help get you out of jail.... Gloria: Kevin, that means so much to me to hear you say that you will stand by me..... Sharon: I knew that red-headed bitch couldn't keep her mouth shut. Brad: If Victoria knows, you better believe that the rest of the Newman family knows, Sharon. Jill: I could absolutely kill her for all the months of hell she’s put us through. Katherine: What on God’s green Earth was Gloria thinking? To deliberately destroy John’s legacy the ways she did? Jill: I have one good guess: Jack Abbott.
