  1. Devon's houseguest has Daniel seeing red Sharon walks into the Newman break room to see Phyllis pouring a cup of coffee. Sharon informs Phyllis that Noah talked to her about the arguments that he’s witnessed between she and Nick, and voices concern about his being caught in the middle. Phyllis tells Sharon that all children see parents arguing from time to time. Sharon reminds Phyllis that she is his mother, and as a parent, she wants to make sure her son doesn’t have to endure hearing or seeing their bickering. As she is walking out the door, Nick comes in and sees that Phyllis is upset. He asks her if she got into another argument with Sharon. Phyllis points out that Sharon doesn’t want Noah exposed to their arguments. Nick agrees and tells Phyllis for the sake of Noah, they will work on their issues in private. At the Baldwin home, Gloria is finding every excuse to keep from going to Jabot to do the DNA testing. Michael tells her that the walls are closing in on her and she might as well face the fact that William Bardwell and his trusty detectives will get that DNA testing; either by cooperation or by court order. Gloria seethes that Jack is the cause of all of this; and that if John were alive, he would never allow them to do this to her. Michael points out that if John were in fact still alive, she might be out on her butt once he learned of how devious she was. Grabbing her purse, Gloria realizes that Michael is right. She tells him that she will go to Jabot, take the test and hope that all fingers will point in another direction. At the Abbott estate, Jack is on the phone with someone that wants to set up a one on one lunch meeting with him. At first, Jack is leery of the idea, however, remembering David’s advice on getting the citizens of Genoa City to see him as a candidate that cares about their views, decides to meet her at the G.C.A.C. When he hangs up the phone, he picks up the newspaper, looking at the latest developments of the skin cream case; the same case that lost him the company he loved. Daniel is not pleased seeing the sudden closeness between Amber and Devon. As the two of them talk, Daniel cuts in, asking why Amber is there to begin with. Devon tells Daniel that Amber needed someone to talk to, and thought he’d invite her over to take her minds off her troubles. Seeing another opportunity to ‘milk’ her situation, Amber laments that now that Cane has kicked her out of the apartment, she doesn’t have enough money to stay somewhere. Before Daniel can even get a word in, Devon tells Amber that she can stay there for the night. Excusing herself, she goes upstairs to the bathroom. The minute she is gone, both guys start to argue with one another about Amber. Lily, who is coming in, happens to see the heated exchange, and is upset as to why both would be arguing over Amber of all people. Nick stops by Victoria’s house to see how things are going for her; especially on her day off. When she opens the door, she greets her younger brother, asking what brings him over. He tells her he merely wanted to see how his sister is doing. Victoria gushes about celebrating her one year anniversary with Brad. Nick asks her if she is truly happy with Brad. She tells him that Brad is the one for her; that he truly loves her. Nick grows quiet, unsure if he should tell her the truth about who Brad really is. Sensing his distance, she asks him what is on his mind. Nick tells her that he found out that Sharon and Brad had a tryst a week after their wedding. Victoria is furious at what Nick is saying, and accuses him of lying to her. When he tells her that Sharon confirmed it, she demands that he leave her alone. Once gone, Victoria collapses on the couch in tears. At the G.C.A.C. Jack meets up with the young lady that contacted him for their one on one. Smiling, he takes a seat across from her and tells her she can ask him whatever she wishes to regarding his plans if he is elected Senator. Taking her opportunity, she asks Jack about Jabot, and if the scandal surrounding the company would affect his chances of being Senator. Jack is hesitant to answer and immediately directs a question in her direction. He asks her what her name is. Extending her hand, she tells him that she is Amanda Gibson; the daughter of the family he destroyed. When Jack gathers his words, he tells Amanda that he was not the cause of her mother’s death. Amanda, not interested in his excuses, tells him that she will be the one responsible in ruining any chances he has in winning the senate seat. Back at the Baldwin house, Gloria and Michael are sitting in silence after returning from taking the DNA test. Gloria tells Michael that she has nothing to worry about; once the testing comes back negative, they can divert their attentions on the real culprit: Jack Abbott. Michael receives a phone call from Lauren, and heads to the other room. Alone, Gloria walks over to a picture of John. Picking it up, she looks at it, telling him that she will be strong. Holding it close to her, she continues to talk herself into believing that she will be safe from blame. Moments later, the doorbell rings. Michael, who has ended his call, opens the door to see Det. Maggie Sullivan. Maggie informs Michael that after getting the DNA results back, they are ready to make an arrest. Michael asks who the person is that is going to be arrested. Maggie, holding the warrant, tells Michael that Gloria’s DNA matched and she has to take her in. Next on Genoa City Drucilla: I know my eyes aren’t seeing what I’m seeing, Neil. I know Devon is not talking to that blonde gold digger. Lily: Why don't you just admit it, Daniel. You are attracted to Amber. Victoria: So, when were you going to tell me that you slept with my sister-in-law a week after our wedding? Brad: What? What are you talking about, Victoria?
  2. Sharon talks to Nick about Noah Brad and Victoria are at home, alone having a candle light dinner celebrating their 1 year anniversary. Victoria comments to Brad that she is so happy and in such a good place right now. She tells Brad that everything feels so right and she can't wait until their 2nd anniversary at which time they will have a third person to celebrate with, their baby. Brad joeks with Victoria and asks her if she is just hoping for a 2nd? He tells her he hopes for many many more anniversary celebrations to come. Victoria gets up clears her throat and says they should continue this celebration elsewhere and proceeds to head up stairs with Brad following her. Sharon is at home sitting on the couch reading some papers from work when someone is at the door. She opens the door to find Nick. He is there to pick up Noah. Sharon tells him that Noah is at a friend's but should be back shortly. She tells Nick to come in because she wants to speak with him about Noah. Sharon tells Nick that Noah can sense the troubles he is having with Phyllis and she is concerned. She tells Nick she doesn't want their son getting caught in the crossfire; he won't be able to take another broken family. She tells Nick as much as she loves seeing Phyllis knee deep in trouble, she doesn't want to see it at the expense of her son's well being. Phyllis is at Daniel's house watching Summer sleep. She tells her that her daddy will be back soon and everything will be just fine. Phyllis though is frantic and flashes back to various confrontations with Nick. She says to herself, everything will work out, everything will work out. She says that I lie, that's what I do and that's why Nick loves me. Then she snaps out of it and says she is an idiot. Just then Daniel walks in and wonders why his mom looks so stressed and why she is at his house. She smiles and says that Summer wanted to see her big brother and she wanted to know how things were with Lily. Daniel tells his mother that he doesn't think Lily will ever trust him again and wants to know if she has any advice. She then smirks and tells him to go find trust advice elsewhere, because she is on Nick's most unlikely to trust again list. Daniel tells his mom that Nick will come around but Phyllis isn't so sure. They hug and bond over their similar situations. Just then Devon and Amber walk in and are laughing and giggling. Daniel looks at them with a jealous look on his face. Lily and Neil are talking over coffee and Crimson Lights. Lily tells her dad that her mother is playing matchmaker already. Neil tells Lily she shouldn't be surprised it's her mother, that's what she does: meddle. Lily says Eric, the intern, is a nice guy but is no where near ready to test the waters, because Daniel and she hasn't made a decision as to where they should go. Lily gets angry and says she just wishes Mom would leave her be and let her think and be alone. Neil comforts his daughter and tells her he will talk to Drucilla and reign her in a bit, that's his job. Gloria arrives home at Michael's all paniced. Michael and she embrace and he has a worried look on his face. Michael tells her that William will ask for her to volunteer her DNA or have a court order to get it. Gloria tells Michael that she will pack and run to Canada or some place tonight. Michael tells her that isn't an option, running is the worse thing you could do right now. Gloria tells him that she doesn't care and that she cannot be linked to the skin cream case. She just can't. Then there is a knock at the door. Michael asks who it is and its William Bardwell. He opens the door. William says hi to Gloria and informs her that he hates to do this but in order to rule her out as a suspect, she must provide DNA, or he will be forced to get a court order. Next on Genoa City Jack (on the phone): Yes, this is Jack Abbott, how may I help you? Amanda: I was wondering if we could meet for lunch. I would love to get to know what you have planned for Genoa City if you are elected Senator. Daniel: I don't know why you told her she could stay here. Devon: Man, what is your problem? Amber isn't hurting anyone and I don't see what is the big deal in letting her stay here for a bit. Maggie: Is Gloria Fisher Abbott here? It's important that I speak with her.
  3. Michael is the bearer of bad news for Gloria In Los Angeles, Jill and Gloria are going over ideas on how to answer questions about Extreme Catwalk when the press arrives. Gloria is on a natural high in regards to being the center of attention, telling Jill this is the life she's always wanted to live. Jill r eminds her that even the slightest bit of fame can be dangerous. Waving the notion off, Gloria grabs a pair of sunglasses and tells Jill she's going out to see the 'sights'. As she is walking out the door, Jill's cell phone goes off. Reaching for it, Jill is surprised to hear Ji Min on the the other end. She asks him how things are going in Genoa City and is surprised when he tells her that things aren't going well. Walking towards the window of her suite, she questions what is going on. Ji Min explains to her that William Bardwell has re-opened the skin cream investigation, and conducted DNA testing on all Jabot employees. Jill is outraged at why the matter is now being re-hashed again. Unbeknownst to Jill, Gloria, who returned to retrieved something, has heard a large majority of the conversation. At Crimson Lights, Kevin is looking at the Genoa City Times when one of his co-workers come in to start their shift. At the same time, Amanda, who is also carrying a copy of the newspaper, finds a sit not too far from the counter. While she is reading the front page story regarding the new developments of the skin cream case, she can't but help listen in on the conversation that is taking place between Kevin and his employee. Kevin makes mention that none of this mess would have happened if it weren't for Jack Abbott's callous and insensitive behavior towards others. Across the way, Amanda lets a small smile play at her lips at Kevin's words of dislike towards the man that cost her family everything. Her smile however turns into a frown when the co-worker asks Kevin if he was working at Jabot during the time the case originally began. She can't even fathom why Kevin would ever would want to stay at a place that did so much damage to so many lives. Cane is on his way to go to Katherine's when Amber arrives to collect the rest of her belongings. Once inside, she can tell that Cane is in no mood to talk to her. She quickly makes her way to the room to retrieve the rest of her things. As she is coming out, she asks him if he can ever forgive her for what she did, he quickly tells her that he will never forget what she did to him, and that if she's hoping for any reconciliation, she's wasting her time. Opening the door, waits for her to walk out into the hall before slamming the door shut. At Nick and Phyllis', Victoria stops by to bring over some documents for Nick to sign. Phyllis, who answers the door, iniforms her sister-in-law that he isn't home yet, and offers her to stay to wait for him. Victoria, not too keen on being there with Phyllis, opts to just return at a later time. Phyllis, not at all happy at how things are going between Nick and her, asks Victoria to stay for a bit to talk. Sensing something strange, Victoria asks Phyllis what's really going on. Hesitant for a moment, Phyllis tries to come up with the right way to tell her about what she's done. Phyllis is in the process of her confession when Nick walks in the door and immediately prevents Phyllis from saying one word to upset his sister. At Crimson Lights, Amber walks in, completely upset by Cane's coolness towards her. As she's getting her a latte, she bumps into Devon, who is picking up an order he called in. He at first doesn't say anything to her, until he notices how upset she is. Taking a seat beside her, he questions what is wrong. Amber begins to lay it on thick about how hurt she is that she's lost the one person that she felt believed in her. The water works begin to fall and Devon, not really knowing what to do, simply gives her a hug. As the two hug, however, it is clear that Amber has found her next pawn. A frantic Gloria is on her cell phone, in hopes that Michael will answer. When he comes on the other end of the line, Gloria is in a fit of nervousness as she asks him about the skin cream case. She demands to know why she wasn't called immediately about what was going on. Michael, who is just as on edge as she is, tells her that there was not much he could do to prevent the case from being re-opened. She questions if all eyes are focused on Jack, since he's still considered the number one target. Michael tells her that regardless of how much they hate Jack, he is not the one they are waiting on. When she questions what he is talking about, Michael tells her that only two Jabot employees are in need of DNA testing: Jill and herself. Gloria refuses to believe that William will find anything that will connect her back to the tampering, but Michael silences her by telling her that she has no other choice but to return to Genoa City and face the music. Next on Genoa City Daniel: Mom, I don't know how I'm going to get Lily to ever trust me again. Phyllis: I'm on Nick's list of least likely to trust again, too, so I guess we're in the same boat. Neil (chuckling): Are you telling me that your mom was actually trying to play matchmaker? Lily: Dad, it's not funny. Why can't she stop meddling in my life? Neil: You of all people should know that your mom is front and center in anything that concerns her children. Brad: I hope we have many, many more anniversaries to celebrate, Victoria.
  4. Dru's meddling gets her into trouble with Lily Sharon and Noah are returning from his stay with Phyllis and Nick. He heads upstairs to take his backpack and other things to his room. While Sharon is going through the mail, she thinks about how tense Jack became during their romantic night together. Shaking it off as typical business, she calls Noah down to ask him about his time spent with Nick and Phyllis. When he bounds down the stairs, he quickly fills her in on how Phyllis and Nick were acting distant towards one another. Sharon asks if he is sure that they were fighting; to which is assures her. Noah tells her that when he woke up, he saw Nick fast asleep on the couch downstairs. When Noah leaves, Sharon ponders her conversation that she had with Nick a few days earlier. At the G.C.A.C. Colleen is re-reading the letter that Adrian sent her. The more she reads it, the more she realizes how much she misses him. Folding the letter up, she begins to make her way towards one of the tables to take orders. As she is taking down the patrons orders, she spots Daniel coming in and quickly smiles in his direction. When she walks his way, he asks her if she has time to talk. Colleen tells Daniel to give her a few minutes to get her table's order in. As he sits at the bar, he thinks about all the damage he's done to his marriage to Lily. After their fight, she make it a point to ignore all of his phone calls, and even brush him off when they would pass one another in the halls at college. When Colleen returns, she asks him what's up. He is hesitant at first, stating not wanting to get Colleen in the middle of his troubles with Lily. Colleen brushes his fear off and tells him that she's willing to help, just as long as he's willing to listen. At Jabot, D.A. William Bardwell is in full swing, talking to Paul and Maggie about what he expects them to do regarding the skin cream case. Paul questions him as to where they should begin. William immediately informs both detectives that he wants all Jabot employees to give a DNA sample, stressing not to skip anyone. Maggie asks Paul if Ji Min would need to present one; William tells her that although Ji Min came shortly after the fallout, to still keep a close eye out on him. As they are talking, William sees Michael from a distance staring at them. Both detectives and William board the elevator to begin their process. At the other end of the hall, Michael is perplexed by not being in the 'know' of what's taking place. Drucilla is looking over some Clear Springs photo shoot proofs when a young gentleman knocks on her door. Looking up she smiles when he comes in to give her a few envelopes. When she asks him if he's just started at Newman Enterprises, he tells her that he is a new intern. He introduces himself as Eric. As the two are talking, Lily comes in to see if her mother is ready for lunch. Dru immediately starts talking up Lily to Eric, who can't take his eyes off of her. When he leaves, Dru gushes to Lily that he is a good looking young man that obviously have things going for him. She continues on to say that once Lily kicks Daniel to the curb, Lily can find love with someone that is worth it. Not being able to deal with Dru's constant interference, she barks that Dru needs to mind her business and stop trying to run her life. Her problems with Daniel are her own; and if and when she decides that it's the end, she'll be the one to call the shots. Dru tries to apologize, however, Lily, no longer in a mood to have lunch, walks out. At Newman Enterprises, Phyllis walks into the break room and sees Nick pouring a cup of coffee. Closing the door behind her, she teases him by asking him if he has a cup for her. He pretends not to hear the joke and takes a seat at the table. Sensing that things are still not right between them, she sits across from him and demands to know what his trouble is. Putting the cup down, he stares at her, asking if she's seriously asking a question as such. He tells her that ever since she took it upon herself to hold Brad's affair with Sharon over their heads, she's caused nothing but trouble for the Newman family. Phyllis tries to deflect the blame by stating that Brad and Sharon were the cause of that, however, Nick's not hearing it. He slams Phyllis for manipulating the situation to her advantage, and because of her, he can't do anything that will hurt his sister. Later that day, Paul is at the G.C.A.C. when Michael approaches him. Sitting beside him, Michael asks Paul what he has to share with him regarding the case. Paul tells him that all DNA testing on the Jabot employees came back negative. Sighing a little, Michael tells him that it most likely will mean that William will not have anything to resume the case. Shaking his head, Paul stops Michael's thought quickly, by adding that there are two Jabot employees that still need to be tested: Jill and Gloria. A sick feeling suddenly washes over Michael at announcement of his mother's name. Next Genoa City Jill (in Los Angeles on the phone): Are you telling me that William has re-opened the case? I don't believe it! Ji Min: Believe it, Jill. You and Gloria are the last two they are waiting on. Amanda: Who would have thought I would be getting served coffee by a Jabot employee. Kevin: What's that supposed to mean? Phyllis (approaching Victoria): I was wondering if you had a few minutes. There's something that you need to know.
  5. Ji Min puts Jack on serious notice. At the Newman tack house, Phyllis is asking Noah what he would like to have for dinner that evening. He immediately shouts out for pizza and Phyllis is all for it, until Nick quickly shuts down the idea. Phyllis makes the mistake of telling Nick that they should allow Noah to have what he would like, to which Nick snaps about. When Phyllis sees Noah's look of confusion, she quickly changes gears and tells Nick that he's right and that they should eat something else. Noah begins to protest but stops when Nick gives him a glance. Summer, who is upstairs, begins to cry, sending Phyllis to go check on her. Once she is gone, Noah immediately asks why hs father and Phyllis are fighting with one another. Not wanting to get into it, Nick lies and tells him that he's just alittle stressed and that all is fine between the two of them. Lily is having lunch with her Dru and Neil at the G.C.A.C. when Neil brings up the subject of Daniel into the conversation. Dru, grimaces and tells Neil not to ever say that troublemaker's name as long as she's standing near him. Lily is more than happy to inform them that Daniel was at the apartment, talking to Amber. Without mincing words, Dru has some serious words to say about Mrs. Ashby. Neil immediately cuts Dru off, telling her that although Daniel made a very dumb mistake, he's trying to work things out. Lily can't believe that her father is being so calm about her husband's porn habit. Dru tells Neil that there is no way that she will ever allow Daniel Romalloti near their daughter again. Neil tells Dru that she should mind her business; the marital problems that Lily and Daniel are having are theirs to work on; not them. When Sharon comes to the Abbott estate, she notices a large arrangement of flowers decorating the master living area. Jack smiles, telling her that he hoped to take her minds off of all things business and put the focus on romance. Sitting on the couch, Sharon is in awe at the arrangement of strawberries and chocolate sauce on a platter. Taking a bite, she tells Jack that it is definitely what she has been needing. He, coming over by her, apologizes again for David planting doubts in her mind about what marriage would be like with him. Waving it off, she tells Jack that David is just too determined for his own good. Jack proceeds to kiss Sharon but is interrupted by his cell phone. Frowning, he looks to see that it is Ji Min on his ID. Standing up, he promises to make his conversation with Ji Min quick. Ji Min tells Jack that there are some serious matters that they need to discuss. Jack, not in the mood to hear the latest antics of Gloria, tells him that it can wait. Ji Min tells Jack that regardless of how he feels, they will be talking with one another: today. Before jack can get a word in, the phone call ends. In Los Angeles, Jill is relaxing in her master hotel suite when her telephone rings. Picking it up, she is pleased to hear Cane on the other end. He asks her how she's liking Los Angeles, and she lets him know that although working on Extreme Catwalk has been grueling, she's loving the whole atmosphere. Cane tells Jill that he has good news and hope that after he tells her, she will be happy. She jokinly says she'll be so happy to return to see no more Amber, but realizes that it must be bigger news based on his tone. When she asks him what his news is, he tells her that Katherine offered him a position at Chancellor Industries and that he agreed to take the job. Jill is shocked and upset that Katherine went behind her back and coaxed Cane into taking a job. Cane tells Jill that he's willing to give Katherine a chance; why can't she just be happy for him. Jill points out that while she isn't mad at him for accepting the job, she is beyond digusted at Katherine for her actions. Jack tells Sharon that despite the phone call, they will continue their romantic evening together. Work is on the backburner for the evening, as far as he is concerned. Sharon smiles at that thought and Jack leads them towards the table that is set up for dinner. As the two are sitting down, the doorbell rings. Dismay appears on Jack's face as he heads for the door. Once he opens it, he's upset to see that Ji Min has took it upon himself to come over despite Jack's protests. Ji Min, seeing Sharon, quickly apologizes for interrupting their evening, but stresses the importance it is to discuss something with Jack. Sharon, not wanting to be in the middle of anything, tells Jack that she will go out on the patio for a bit. Once she is gone, Jack snaps into Ji Min for his pushiness. Ji Min disregards him and tells Jack that once he learns what is going on, he will be glad to be in the 'know', especially where Jabot is concerned. Jack asks what he's talking about. Sighing, Ji Min tells Jack of the visit that D.A. William Bardwell made with him. Jack is floored when Ji Min announces that the skin cream case is about to be re-opened adn that everyone, including Jack and Ji Min, himself, will be in the hot seat. Katherine is in the middle of talking to Eshther when the telephone rings; not getting up, she lets Esther take the call. Esther immediately tells Kay that Jill is on the other line and that she's angry. Taking in a deep breath, Katherine takes the phone and waves Esther away. When she says hello, all she can hear is Jill yelling at the top of her lungs about her once again meddling in her son's business. Once Katherine is able to get her voice heard, she informs Jill that there is nothing wrong with wanting to help Cane by giving him a job; she owes him that. Jill snaps back that if it weren't for Katherine to begin with, Cane would already have a family that he would know, love and cherish. Because of her actions, Cane will never get that back, nor will she. Before Katherine can continue their conversation, Jill tells Katherine she has nothing more to say and abruptly ends their conversation. Next on Genoa City Noah: Mom, when I was at dad's and Phyllis', they were fighting Sharon: Are you sure? Sometimes what you may think is a fight may not be one. Noah: No, they were definitely fighting. William (to Maggie and Paul): I don't care how long it takes, I want everyone that had access to that lab to present us with DNA tests. Dru: Baby, you know as well as I do, that Daniel was no good from the word "go" The sooner you move on with your..... Lily: Stay out of it! Why can't you just stop trying to run my life!
  6. Nick finds himself having a heart-to-heart with Sharon Det. Maggie Sullivan steps into Crimson Lights, scanning the room for the person she contacted to meet. When her eyes lock on them, she makes her way to the counter to order a cup of coffee. Coffee in hand, she proceeds to the outside patio area and takes a seat. Putting his newspaper down, Paul smiles, asking what Maggie's sudden need to see him. Sipping her coffee, she teases him by letting him know how much she wants him with her. He's about to say something when she raises a hand and informs him that she is talking business. Paul becomes curious and asks her what is up. She informs Paul that William Bardwell is re-opening the Jabot skin cream case; and she's the head detective on the investigation. He wants to know what it is that she needs from him and is more than interested when she tells him that she wants him to work with her on the case. Nicholas, coat in hand, waits for the elevator to head to the parking structure. After a trying day at work, all he wanted to do was go home and unwind. Looking at his watch, he was glad to know that Phyllis was still in her meeting and wouldn't be coming home right away. Distance was what he needed for the moment and he was going to take it. Stepping on to the opening elevator, he proceeds to push the garage button when he hears a familiar voice calling out to him. In an instant, Sharon is slipping inside the elevator and thanks him for holding it for her. Nodding his head, Nick tells Sharon that he's looking forward to picking up Noah for 'guy' time. She tells him that it's all that Noah has been talking about this week. Nick is about to say something when a sudden jerk happens on the elevator. Each look at each other and in unison say that the elevator is stuck. Lauren knew that when she walked into Fenmore's it was going to be a day she wish to forget. Heading to the back room, she immediately becomes upset by the fact that Amber once again let a shipment sit around. Grabbing the phone she contacts Federal Express to come pick up the packages. Heading out to the front of the store, she immediately sensed the tension between Amber and Lily. Not wanting to put Amber on the spot, she approaches the young lady and tells her that she wants to talk to her before she heads home. Making her way towards a customer, she hoped that both Lily and Amber would put aside their dislike for one another on the backburner. As Lauren leads the customer to one of the fitting rooms, she hears the snipes and snarks of both women. Turning back, she hurriedly makes her way towards Lily and Amber, telling them to go to the back room: they need to have serious discussion about their attitudes towards one another. At the Chancellor mansion, Cane and Katherine are conversating with one another. Katherine immediately tells Cane that it was not her intent on trying to hurt him; but that she wanted him and everyone else aware of how devious Amber was. Cane points out that although he knows that she would never purposely hurt him, she could have done it in a more private setting. She again apologizes to him and changes subjects. She asks him if he has ever thought about getting his feet wet in the family company. Cane doesn't feel he would fit in at Chancellor Industries and says no to the offer. Katherine, however, tells Cane that he is family and that she would love for him to learn what he can about the family business. After much thought, Cane agrees to her offer. In the hallway of Jabot, William Bardwell meets up with Ji Min Kim. William informs Ji Min that since he's the owner of Jabot, he wants him to be aware that they are going to be re-opening the case against Jabot's skin cream. Ji Min questions why the sudden decision to re-open. William is vague at first, but lets him know that the recent death of Tim Gibson among other events have gave him just cause in returning to investigating the crime. Ji Min questions if Jack will be brought back into the investigation, considering he was the one being blamed for the Emma's death. Bardwell tells Ji Min that everyone that was involved in the last case will definitely be brought back when they begin their second investigation and if anyone from that case has cause in hiding the truth, it will be revealed. Ji Min and William are both unaware that Kevin has listened to the whole conversation. In the elevator at Newman, Sharon and Nick are awaiting for the maitanance workers to get the elevator started. As they wait, Nick asks if Sharon is sure she wants to have a life with Jack Abbott. Sharon is at first hesitant to share her feelings but with Nick's persistence, she tells him that Jack truly cares about her. Nick points out that it doesn't answer the question on if she wants to be with him as his wife. Turning the tables, she asks him if he ever thought he would be married to Phyllis. Nick admits that it was the furthest from his mind. Sharon doesn't mince words when she tells him that Phyllis will always be a troublemaker in her eyes. When Nick grows quiet, Sharon realizes that for the first time, he doesn't have any words to defend his wife. Before they can continue their discussion, the elevator kicks back on and both arriving to the parking garage go their seperate ways. At the Baldwin home, Kevin arrives to fill Michael in on what he's overheard beteween Ji Min and William. Michael, not liking at all that the case is being re-opened, tells Kevin that they better pray hard for nothing to come back to bite them in the butt this time around. When Kevin informs his brother about the fact that everyone involved in the past case would be also involved in the new investation, Michael realizes that at some point Gloria will be questioned. He tells Kevin that they will have to do whatever they can to keep one step ahead of Bardwell to keep all of them from exposure. When Michael makes a snide comment of the fact that Gibson's daughter prompted the investigation, Kevin fills him in that he's already met her. Michael suddenly wonders if Kevin would be able to use his meeting her to their advantage. Next on Genoa City Jill: How dare you go behind my back and offer my son a job. Katherine: Jill, for heaven's sake, it's not a crime to offer the boy a way to get to know the family Jill: He would have already known the family if YOU hadn't have done what you did. Ji Min (on the phone): We need to talk right away, Jack. Jack: If this is about Gloria, I'm not interested... Ji Min: It's much worse than Gloria Fisher. Dru: I don't understand how you of all people can sit there and defend Daniel Romalotti. Neil: It's not a question about defending Daniel, Dru. It's about letting them work things out themselves. Dru: If you think I'm going to let that troublemaker continue to hurt my baby, you're sadly mistaken.
  7. Kevin finds himself haunted by a familiar last name Sharon, opting to head home, still is stunned at how David approached her regarding what marriage would be like with a 'political' figure. Sitting on the couch, she debates on whether to contact Jack and fill him in, or merely brush off the conversation. Letting David's words get the best of her, she puts her call through to Jack. Once Jack answers his phone, she tells him exactly what David has been plotting. At the Newman ranch, Victor is awaiting the arrival of Randall Bates to go over their plans to bring down Jack. As he is waiting, his eyes lock on a picture of Nikki and he. Picking it up, he wonders how his wife is doing; very well aware that the only people she's willing to connect with are their children. Taking a deep breath, he places the picture back on the table. Once the doorbell rings, he's back into business mode, letting Randall in. Shaking hands, Victor offers Randall a drink. Randall accepts and gets right down to business: he wants whatever he can obtain to use against Jack. Victor's plan is simple; expose Jack so bad that he'll have no choice but to drop out of the race for Senate. Both men raise their glasses in agreement. Folding her arms across her chest, Lily is hesitant in wanting to re-hash anything with Daniel. He begs her to at least talk to him about their situation. Scoffing, Lily says it's more than a 'situation'. Trying to reach for her, Daniel is hurt when Lily pushes him away. He tells her that she needs to be open in wanting to work on making things right between them again. Flipping out, Lily tells Daniel that she doesn't have to do anything, and that if anyone needs to make things right, it's him, not her. He questions how he can possibly do so if she keeps pushing him away and not listening to him. Lily points out that when she wanted to spend time and be with him, he always brushed her off; and now she knows the reason for that. Daniel tells her that he made a mistake and that he wants. Lily tells him she could care less what he wants, and storms off. David is heading towards the break room when Jack proceeds to follow behind him. Closing the door, Jack demands to know what David thought he was trying to succeed in rattling Sharon. David points out that he is merely preparing Jack's bride-to-be for the harsh reality of being under the public's watchful eye. He then asks Jack if he's willing to marry a woman with such a checkered past when it comes to relationships. Glaring at David, Jack warns him not to cross that line with him David gives Jack his own warning: be careful with who he spends his time with. The press will rip Sharon to shreds if they smell any hint of fear; and if that happens, Jack will suffer when it comes to getting the people's votes. At the G.C.A.C. William Bardwell is looking over the Emma Gibson file when he sees Michael coming in and being seated. Glancing over at him, William debates on filling him in about the case. Returning the case file back into his briefcase, he picks up his drink and heads in Michael's direction. Michael immediately grimaces when William sits across from him, demanding to know what he could possibly want now. Sitting his drink down, William informs Michael that he was informed that Tim Gibson passed away. Shrugging his shoulders, Michael questions what that has to do with him. William continues by telling him that he's re-opening the case of the tainted skin cream. Demanding to know what possible reason he would have to do so now, Michael is floored when William admits that the daughter of the Gibson's is in town and demands that justice be served. Adrian is at his apartment putting the final touches to the romantic evening he had planned for Colleen. Checking his watch, he had just a few more minutes to make sure everything was in place, before her arrival. Dimming the lights, he turned on soft music, and lit the candles. The minute the doorbell rang, he was there at the door, letting Colleen in. Looking around the room, Colleen is in awe at the romantic setting that she sees before her. Smiling a little, she coyly asks him what the 'special ocassion' could be. Wrapping his arms around her, he tells her that he wants to spend his last night with her before he leaves for his new position. Seizing his mouth with hers, she kisses him tenderly, praying that their night could last forever. At Crimson Lights, Amanda Gibson walks in and spots Kevin, who is behind the counter, wiping up some latte that was spilled. He immediately smiles when she comes up to the counter. He teases her by asking if she's coming back for another latte on the house. Smiling a little, Amanda tells him that she wanted to return to say thanks for welcoming her to Genoa City, as well as purchasing a mocha latte. Getting her drink for her, he asks her if she's in Genoa City for just a short stay or if she has plans to stay longer. Amanda lets him know that her business will keep her there for awhile. Kevin soon remembers that she never gave him her last name. Taking a sip of her latte, Amanda tells him that her last name is Gibson. Kevin immediately feels a cold shiver run down his spine when she says her last name again. Next on Genoa City Michael: This is not a joke. That skin cream case is being re-opened Kevin: Mikey, I think we could be in some serious trouble here. Michael: And just when I thought my day couldn't get any worse! Cane: Katherine, I know you mean well, but I told you before, I just don't think I .... Katherine: Cane, you need a fresh start. Why not start it by working for my company? Lauren (at Fenmore's): I want to talk to you both in the back, NOW! Amber and Lily (in unison): But she started it! Lauren: I don't care who started it, go to the back room this minute.
  8. Amanda Gibson arrives with justice in mind. Kevin spots Lily, looking down at the coffeehouse. He comes over with a latte as an attempt to cheer her up. Lily practically bites Kevin’s head off before rudely telling him to leave her alone. Kevin takes the advice and returns to the bar where he takes the order of a beautiful young woman. Kevin introduces herself, and the woman does the same, saying her name is Amanda and she is new in town. Kevin gives her a drink on the house as a welcoming present. Amanda takes the drink and thanks Kevin. She apologizes for having to dash, but has an important meeting. She tells Kevin that is going to look forward to returning, leaving Kevin all smiles. Daniel returns to the apartment and is followed by Amber. Amber tells Daniel to never walk away from her again. They’re friends! Friends don’t do that to each other. Daniel reminds Amber that she insulted his wife. What friend does that? Amber apologizes for what she said about Lily. She doesn’t see the big deal though. Daniel says that Lily does see a big deal and it’s ruined their marriage. Lily enters and freaks when she sees Amber. Lily wants Amber out immediately and the ladies get into a little argument. Daniel ends it by telling Amber to leave. Once Amber is gone, Daniel asks Lily if they can talk. In the Newman break room, David is baffled at Jack and Sharon’s wedding bells in the Chronicle. Phyllis enters and gives her two cents on the matter. David gets up to leave when Nicholas walks in. Phyllis goes for a kiss from her husband, but he stops her. Nick wants to talk about Phyllis’ lie and how it’s ruining the Newman family. Now that he knows, he’s acting differently towards Victoria and Brad. Victoria is starting to sense something. Phyllis tells Nick not to blame her for his feelings. He chose not to tell Victoria. Not wanting to continue the argument, Phyllis decides to leave the room. Jack and Sharon are in the conference room admiring their wedding bells when David barges in, asking what they were thinking. Jack and Sharon are confused. The media already knows about their engagement. What’s the big deal? David says the announcement is not the problem. Jack is making decisions without confirming it with David first. Jack tells David that his personal life is none of David’s concern, but David sees it differently. When Jack leaves for a meeting, David uses this time to his advantage to get inside of Sharon’s head, saying all the ways that she could be the cause of Jack’s failed campaign. At the courthouse, William Bardwell is busy at work when his secretary tells him that he has a visitor. In walks Amanda, the woman from Crimson Lights. William asks what he can do for her and Amanda introduces herself as the daughter of Jabot Cosmetic’s victim, Emma Gibson! She informs William that her father recently died and the stress from her mother’s death is likely the cause of it. Amanda wants justice brought to whoever was responsible. Next on Genoa City KEVIN (to Amanda): I didn’t catch your last name earlier. AMANDA: It’s Gibson. My name is Amanda Gibson JACK (to Sharon): What exactly did David say to you? VICTOR (to Randall): Jack Abbott is a snake and he needs to be stopped.
  9. Good episode...Liked the final scene....Cool choice of who is Forrest
  10. Adrian's good news could spell bad news for he and Colleen Cane walks into his apartment, tossing his coat on the couch. He couldn't stop replaying the scene in his mind. Amber knew that he was Jill's son and Katherine's grandson, but purposely kept quiet all the while pretending to help him 'locate' his family. The notion of what she did turned his stomach. Plopping on the couch, he raises his hand and notices the wedding band on his finger. His whole marriage was all a part of a bigger plan, he thought, snatching the ring off his finger. Tossing it on the table, he looks up when the apartment door opens and Amber walks in. All he can do is glare at her. Nick and Phyllis are preparing to leave the Chancellor mansion when Sharon approaches them. She asks Nick if she could have a minute alone with Phyllis. At first, Nick is hesitant, not wanting to see another fight between them, but he agrees when Phyllis tells him that she'll be outside to meet him shortly. Walking away, Phyllis and Sharon are left alone to talk. Sharon doesn't mince words when she questions if Phyllis is truly meant what she said about not blackmailing her. Phyllis, who's not in the mood to answering questions hastily tells Sharon that she no longer has to worry about having what she did held over her head. Before Sharon walks away, however, Phyllis asks her if she was merely asking because she wants to keep Jack in the dark. Sharon can't muster up the words. Outside of the Chancellor mansion, Nick is awaiting for Phyllis when Brad exits the house and approaches the younger Newman. Brad makes a comment about how Amber is so similar to Phyllis; greedy, manipulative and conniving. Nick tosses that if anyone is similar to Amber it would be Brad; after all, he did sleep and marry his way into money. The two face off with one another and exchange insults. Being cocky, Brad lets it slip that Nick must hate having to see his former step-daddy canoodling with his ex. A punch from Nick lands Brad on his backside. Before the two are able to rip into each other, Victor, who is on his way out sees the fight and rushes to break it up. Adrian and Colleen, who are driving back to his apartment are talking about Amber's downfall. Colleen muses that she can't believe that he dated Amber. Laughing a little, Adrian tells her that it was more like Amber 'dating' him than anything else. Things turn quiet as they continue their drive. Clearing his throat, Adrian tells Colleen that he has some news to tell her. Picking up on his tone, Colleen questions if it's bad news. He replies that it's good news for him but could be bad news for her, depending on how she sees things. Colleen suggests he tells her what's going on and is stunned when he informs her that he was offered to work on an art project out of Genoa City. Back at Cane's apartment, Amber tries to plead her case. A furious Cane tells her to save her words; he's not interested in whatever comes from her lips. Amber immediately reaches for him and tries to seduce him, but he pushes her off of him, telling her that kisses and sex won't make him forget how she made him look like a fool to the family she knew he already had. He questions if the money he would acquire was the sole purpose of her wanting to 'be' with him. When she is hesitant to answer, he turns his back on her. Amber begs him to tell her what she can do to make up for all she's done. Glaring at her once more, he tells her that she can pack her things and get the hell out of his sight. When she starts to cry, Cane snatches his keys and jacket and proceeds for the door. He again tells her to be gone by the time he returns. Victoria, who's appalled at the fact that her husband and brother once again gotten into a fight, decides to spend some alone time at Crimson Lights. While there, she sees Lauren walking in. Victoria instinctively rubs her stomach and feels the fear set in once again. Stepping away from the table, she approaches Lauren. Lauren is surprised to see her there and immediately asks her how she's doing. Victoria admits that she's having some worries about her pregnancy. Motioning for them to sit at a table, Lauren asks her what is troubling her. It is there that Victoria's voice breaks when explaining to Lauren how she fears that history will repeat itself for her again. Lauren takes Victoria's hands and tells her that if she ever needs to talk, don't hesitate to find her. Walking down the hallway of the apartment building, Daniel debates on if he wants to check on Amber. Sighing a little, he knocks on the door. When Amber opens it, it is obvious that things gotten worse for her. She demands to know why he's there. Walking in, he sees clothes scattered on the couch and a suitcase opened up. Amber tells him that because of his big mouth she lost Cane. Daniel points out that Amber's greed got the best of her and that what she did was all her doing, not his. Throwing clothes in the suitcase, she tells him that if he were a true friend, he would have backed her up. A pissed Daniel asks her if she was there for him when her website cost him his marriage? Walking up to him, Amber tells Daniel that it's his own problem that his wife is too much of a prude to deal with 'innocent' fun. A disgusted Daniel storms off. Next on Genoa City Amanda: Excuse me, can I get a mocha latte, please? Kevin: (smiling a little): Sure, I'll be more than happy to get that for you... Lily (coming back to the apartment): What the hell are YOU doing here? Amber: Uh...hi Lily.. I know I'm the last person that you want to see. Daniel (coming downstairs): Lily. When did you come home? David (in the Newman breakroom): Sharon, do you mind if I ask you a question? Sharon: I guess so. David: Are you sure you want to be the wife of a politician? It's a lot of work to maintain a positive image.
  11. Amber's schemes and lies are exposed Everyone at the party is stunned to hear Katherine speak so poorly of Amber. Jill demands Kay explain herself and Katherine reveals to everyone that Amber has known for a while now that Cane was Jill’s son. That is the reason for their quickie marriage. Amber tries to deny the accusations and even goes as far as suggesting Katherine is drunk. Cane takes Amber aside and asks her to tell him the truth. Daniel speaks up and tells Amber to just tell the truth. Having no other options, Amber admits everything Katherine said is true. Cane is devastated and walks out of the party. Amber tries to run after him, but Jill tells her to leave the premises and stay away from her son! Devon and Lily are watching a movie at the Winters’ apartment. Lily thanks Devon for coming over and trying to cheer her up. Devon admits that he was never a fan of Daniel’s in the beginning of their marriage, but he believes that Daniel loves Lily. Lily knows that Daniel loves. She doesn’t get why he had to look at the porn. Neil and Drucilla return home and tell all about the party and Amber’s downfall. Lily is happy and hopes the bitch gets exactly what she deserves. Daniel goes back to the apartment and learns that Lily hasn’t returned. He tries to call her, but doesn’t answer. Phyllis arrives and wants to know what is up with her son. Daniel doesn’t want to talk about it, but Phyllis isn’t giving up easily. Daniel starts to open up about the problems between he and Lily, but the conversation quickly turns uncomfortable when the reason for the fight is revealed. Michael and Lauren return from their dinner and find Gloria packing her suitcases. Michael assumes that Gloria finally found a place of her own, but Gloria corrects him. She’s packing for Los Angeles to go on Extreme Catwalk with Jill. While Lauren goes into the other room to check on Fenmore, Michael warns Gloria that her exposure could do more harm than good. He reminds her of the skin cream tragedy last year. Gloria is no longer concerned about such matters. It’s in the past and that’s where it shall stay. Next on Genoa City AMBER (to Daniel): You ruined everything, Daniel! Everything! DANIEL: And what about what you did to my marriage? AMBER: No! You will not blame me for your insecure wife’s little problem with reality! ADRIAN (to Colleen): I have news, but you may not like it. VICTORIA (to Lauren): I’m having this baby and it scares me to death.

  13. A grand event at the Chancellors spells trouble for Amber Guests have swarmed the Chancellor estate, celebrating the welcoming of Cane and Amber into the Chancellor family. As hostess, Katherine is tending to several guests and approaches Neil and Drucilla. Katherine: Neil and Drucilla, so good of you to come! Neil: Thank you for inviting us, Katherine. Katherine: Of course. You employed my grandson when he first came to this town. You two belong here. Drucilla: It’s a fine party, Kay. The Chancellors know how to do it best. Katherine: Thank you, Drucilla. Where are Lily and Devon? Drucilla: Lily hasn’t been feeling well lately. She wasn’t up for a party tonight. Neil: Devon chose to stay with her. Katherine: I see. Well, please, continue to enjoy yourself. The night is only beginning. Katherine walks away from Neil and Drucilla. Daniel walks up to them. Daniel: Hey, Neil and Dru. Drucilla: Mm…Daniel. Baby, lets go get a drink. I’m starting to get a little parched. Neil: Right, dear. We’ll see you around Daniel. Daniel: Right. Daniel places his hands in his pockets after Neil and Drucilla walk away. Amber runs up to him. Amber: Do you see this place? Kay went all out. All of Genoa City’s finest are here. I feel like royalty. Daniel: Yeah, everything looks nice. Amber: Aw, Daniel… You’re still bummed about Lily. She’s going to come around. A few yards away from Daniel and Amber, Katherine is talking to JT. Katherine: Thank you for coming over, Jeffery Todd. I hadn’t known you and Amber were friends. JT: I doubt you could call us friends, more like two people scarred by two thorns. Katherine follows JT’s eyes over to Adrian and Colleen. Katherine: Don’t let her get to you, Jeffery Todd. You will bounce back. JT: That’s what everyone keeps telling me, but… Katherine: I spoke to Mackenzie the other day. She asked about you. JT: Really? Katherine: Yes. You should give her a call one day. Katherine leaves JT with much to think about. JT takes his drink and walks over to Adrian and Colleen. Adrian: Oh brother… Colleen: JT, what do you want? JT: I just wanted to come over and congratulate you two. I know you spoke to Paul and told him everything. Colleen: Paul was worried about you. A lot of people are. JT: Don’t patronize me, Colleen. I’m not here to make conversation. You two won. You can be together now and I’m going to be out of your hair for a while. Adrian: If we could only be so lucky. JT: You will be, Kornball. Paul gave me the Jana Hawkes case, and it’s going to take me out of town. Colleen: That’s probably a good thing. Adrian: And we wish you all the luck in the world, TJ. I’m thirsty, Colleen. Lets go get a drink. Colleen and Adrian walk away from JT to expose Brad and Victoria, who have been watching the conversation go down. Announcer: The role of Victoria Newman is now being played by Heather Tom. Victoria: Penny for your thoughts, Bradley? Brad: What? Sorry… Victoria: Don’t apologize. Brad: There has to be something that can be done to stop that. Victoria: There’s not. Colleen obviously cares for Adrian a lot. The more you try to drive a wedge in between them, the greater the wedge will be between you and your daughter. Trust me, I know. Take it from me. My father did everything in his power to keep Ryan and I apart. The harder he tried, the harder we tried to stay together and we did in the end. My father had to accept it. You do too. Brad: There’s just something about him that irritates me. Victoria: He’s dating your daughter. That’s what it is. Why do I find myself surrounded by such stubborn men? Brad: Are you relating me to your father? Victoria: You don’t see a comparison? Victor approaches his daughter and son-in-law. Brad: Speak of the devil. Victor: Hello, Bradley. Victoria. Victoria: Hi, Dad. Were your ears burning? We were just talking about you. Victor: Good things, I hope. Victoria: We were talking about how similar you and Brad are. Brad: And on that note, I am going to get a drink. Would you like something, honey? Victoria: I’m fine. Thanks. Brad walks away, leaving Victoria with her father. Victor: Have you spoke to your mother? Victoria: Yes I did. Today. Victor: How is she doing? Victoria: Good. Victor: Does she like where she is staying? Victoria: Dad! Victor: What? Victoria: You know Mom doesn’t want you knowing where she’s at right now. Give her time. I’m going to need to engrave that into your brain. Victor: Very well. Have you seen your brother yet? He told me he would be here. Victoria: Look over there. He and Phyllis just arrived. Nicholas and Phyllis walk out of the house, into the backyard. Nicholas: There goes my dad and Victoria. Lets go say hi. Phyllis: You go on ahead over. I’ll be there in a minute. Nicholas walks away. Phyllis spots Sharon with Jack and approaches them. Phyllis: Hello, you two. Jack: Phyllis! It’s good to see you. Phyllis: You too, Jack. Hey, Sharon! Sharon: Hi, Phyllis! Jack, I need a drink. Care for one? Phyllis: Actually, Jack, could you get Sharon and I a drink? I’m thirsty and I need to speak to Sharon about something for the next NVP shoot. Don’t worry. I’ll tell you about it later. I’ll take fruit punch. Thanks. Jack: And for you, my dear? Sharon: A water would be fine. Phyllis: Good idea. You want to keep that figure for that dress you’ll be slipping into soon. Jack walks away from the ladies. Sharon looks at Phyllis. Sharon: Why are you still standing beside me? Phyllis: I told you. I need to talk to you. Sharon: Then hurry up, and leave me alone. Phyllis: I just thought you should know that I’m done with the blackmailing. Sharon: Really now? What brought about the change? Phyllis: It almost ruined me and Nick. You and Brad can ruin your lives without me. Sharon: Oh, Phyllis… Drucilla walks up to Sharon and Phyllis. Drucilla: Is she starting with you again, Sharon? Phyllis: Save it, Dru. I’m leaving now. Phyllis walks away. Drucilla: What was that about? Sharon: Phyllis wanted to inform me that she will no longer be blackmailing Brad and I. Drucilla: Is the girl sincere though? That’s the question. Sharon: I don’t know. With Phyllis, you never can. Drucilla: Ain’t that the truth! At the buffet table, Jack is pouring drinks when Gloria walks up to him. Gloria: Good to see you, Jack. Jack: Gloria. You are looking as leopard-esque as ever. Gloria: Why thank you. I assume you heard the great news? Jack: You’re moving? Gloria: You wish. No. Ji Min has cleared my schedule to free up time for me to go on Extreme Catwalk. Jack: Congratulations. Gloria: That’s it? That’s all you’re going to say? Jack: What more do you want? You wanted this and you got it. I do warn you though. Ashley is in Los Angeles, and she will be at these tapings, making sure you don’t ruin the Abbott name more than you already have. With that, Jack picks up his drinks and walks away. Gloria spots Jill and Williams speaking across the yard. Jill is talking to William about Extreme Catwalk. Gloria slowly approaches the two. William: I’m sure you will have a good time. I was in LA two summers ago. I had a great time. Gloria: I couldn’t help but overhearing you two. You were talking Extreme Catwalk, I presume? Jill: Yes we were. I was telling William, here, that I will be in LA for several weeks taping. Gloria: And you won’t be there alone, Jill. I’m coming along. Jill: You are? I thought you were booked for those weeks with Jabot? Gloria: Ji Min was a wonderful man and cleared my schedule so I could make my appearance. It’s going to be a wild time, Jill. We can go to all the boutiques and shopping malls. And William, you are going to have to catch us on television and let us know how we look with the spotlight on us. William: I’m looking forward to it, Gloria. Cane walks up to Jill, William and Gloria. Jill: Cane! You remember William Bardwell. And of course, Gloria. Cane: Hi. William: It’s good to see you again, Cane. Gloria: Yes it is. Congratulations on landing a spot in the Chancellor family. Cane: Thank you, I think. Jill, have you seen Amber? I’ve been looking for her. Jill: No, not for a while now. I’m sure she’s around here somewhere. Inside the house, Amber is checking the food that’s about to be prepared. Katherine walks into the kitchen. Katherine: Amber! Doesn’t everything look delicious? Amber: It sure does, Kay. I want to thank you for all of this. You and Jill have made Cane and I feel so welcomed into your family. Katherine: Wait until the toast. Amber: We get a toast? I’m so excited! Katherine: You should be. It is a fine party, isn’t it? Amber: Wonderful! Katherine: It’s a shame my good friend, Stephanie Forrester, had to return to Los Angeles and miss it. Amber: Stephanie? Stephanie was in Genoa City? Katherine: Yes. Oh, I forgot to tell you that. I had lunch with Stephanie. Your name came up quite a bit. Amber: It did? What about? Katherine: Oh, there’s Esther. Come outside, dear, to hear the toast. Amber: Katherine, wait… Katherine exits the kitchen as Amber becomes nervous of what Stephanie could have said to Katherine. Amber runs outside and quickly finds Daniel. Amber: Daniel! Daniel: Hey, Amber. What’s up? Amber: I think we may have a problem… Katherine grabs a glass and a fork and bangs on the glass to get everyone’s attention. The crowd quiets down. Katherine: Thank you. I want to thank everyone for attending tonight’s festivities. As you all know, tonight is a celebration. We are celebrating the welcoming of my grandson, Jill’s son, Cane, and his lovely bride, Amber. Cane and Amber, would you please come up here? Amber hesitates at first, but Cane takes her by the arm and walks up to Katherine and they take their place. Katherine: It was a miracle that Jill was able to find her biological son after all these years. The simple fact that Cane managed to be in Genoa City at this time was out of this world. Not many people know this, but we almost gave up hope that Cane was Jill’s son. The clues were all there, but the DNA test said otherwise. Cane was ready to leave the country and return home. Jill was ready to continue her search for her son. Had it not been for Amber, none of this would be possible. It was Amber who convinced us to take another test. She was dead-set on proving that the first test was somehow inaccurate. It was almost as if she knew the truth. Amber, what made you so sure? Amber: I guess you could say I just had a feeling, a sixth sense of sorts. Katherine: Right. A sixths sense. Well, we should all be grateful for Amber’s sixth sense. So please join me in toasting to my grandson and my new granddaughter, the lying, cheating and scheming gold-digger that she is! The crowd is shocked by Katherine’s words towards Amber. Whispers can be heard. Cane and Jill share confused looks as Amber looks scared to death. Katherine smirks as the screen fades the black.
  14. JT is given a new assignment Daniel is preparing to head out to work when Amber comes by unannounced. The mere sight of her makes Daniel upset again at the fact that Lily has left him. Noticing that he's not thrilled to see her, Amber asks what the problem is. He snaps that Lily left him after finding out about all the porn sites he was looking at. Waving her hand, Amber tells Daniel that she'll get over that, to which he immediately shoots down. He points out that Lily is aware that Amber is in charge of the Strangers by Night website. Amber smiles and tells Daniel that she has a sure fire way to help keep his mind off of his marital strive: come to the Chancellor party that is being thrown for Cane and her. JT is at the G.C.A.C. drinking when Paul approaches him. Rolling his eyes, JT tells Paul to save whatever lecture he is prepared to make. Sitting beside him, Paul immediately pushes the drink JT has to the side. He informs him that he's re-opening the case involving Jana. JT asks him why that should concern him, reaching for his glass of whiskey. Paul tells JT that he is putting him on the case effective immediately. When JT balks at the assignment, Paul blasts JT for his recent actions, telling him that not only is he harming those around him, but himself: either take the assignment or face being fired. At Newman, Daniel is making the rounds, delivering mail when he sees Drucilla stepping off of the elevator. Before he can muster up words to her, she pulls him into the breakroom. Shutting the door, she confronts him about hurting her daughter. Daniel tries to explain that his viewing the websites weren't on a regular basis, but Dru has none of his excuses. She blasts him for his troublesome ways and threatens to make sure Lily and he are over for good. Neil, who is looking for Dru, walks in on the heated confrontation and tells Dru to back off a bit. Neil stuns Dru when he says that most men who look at porn are in healthy relationships. In another area of Newman Enterprises, Jack and David are meeting up with Randall Bates. Jack is curious to know why he suddenly wants to toss his hat into the ring. Randall admits that when he learned that Nikki stepped out of the race he wanted to have a go at going up against the great Jack Abbott. The three men are emersed in their conversation when Victor Newman rounds the corner. Jack immediately ushers Victor over by them, introducing him to his new competitor. Victor and Randall smile as the two shake hands. Lily and Colleen meet up at Crimson Lights for the daily coffee ritual. While there, Colleen tells Lily that she's excited to be going to a new college and moving forward in a open relationship with Adrian. Lily, not in the mood of hearing Colleen bask in her happiness, tells her to make sure that Adrian doesn't do to her what Daniel has done. Colleen thinks Lily is blowing the matter out of proportion, reminding her of their previous conversation. Lily can't believe that Colleen finds it to be a minor issue and accuses her friend of siding with Daniel. Colleen makes the mistake of saying that Lily always seems to want to give up rather than working things out when problems occur. Lily grabs her things and storms off. Katherine is going over the menu with Esther at the Chancellor Estate. She tells her loyal maid that she wants to make sure everything is perfect for her big 'welcome' for Amber. Esther notes that Katherine seems to be more excited than usual for this event. Katherine smiles as she explains that she wants to give Amber a night she will never forget. Once Esther leaves, Katherine makes her way towards the bay window. Although she knows the truth of who Amber truly is will hurt Cane, she is absolutely going to enjoy bringing the blonde gold-digger down to the ground. Victor, who has returned to his office, goes through some proposals when someone knocks on the door. Without looking up, he tells whoever it is to come on in and close the door behind them. The person who has entered the office tells Victor that Jack hasn't got a clue as to how bad things are going to get for him in the race for the Senate seat. Jack, on his way out of the break room of Newman, finds himself face-to-face with an agitated Ji Min. Jack quickly ushers him back to where he was, and closes the door. Ji Min tells Jack that either they deal with the Gloria situation today, or expect things to get very dangerous for them both. Jack smirks telling Ji Min that Gloria is a mere oversight that can be easily taken care of. Shaking his head, Ji Min stresses as to how close she is to connecting the dots, filling him in on their conversation. Seeing that Ji Min is soon to reach his breaking point, Jack relents, asking Ji Min what he thinks should be done. Ji Min tells Jack that he knows the answer to that question: give her the power to do Extreme Catwalk. Jack quickly agrees hoping that it will shut Gloria up once and for all. Lily, still sitting at the laptop can't fathom what her eyes are seeing. With each click of the mouse, she is suddenly in view of every porn site that Daniel has been on. Lily bounds down the stairs and looks at her husband. Daniel begins to ask her about the suitcases, however, Lily cuts his question short and asks him how long has he been viewing porn. Trying to play it off, Daniel tells her that he only looked at a few sites a few times and left it alone. Glaring at him, Lily pulls the USB port from her pocket and waves it in his face. She informs him that she saw every site he's been on, but found one in particular quite interesting. When Daniel stares at her, Lily snaps that she knows that Amber Moore was keeping him 'entertained' with the website she made, along with helping him start up his own. Reaching for her arm, he tries to stop her from walking away, but she pulls away. He tells her that looking at porn is harmless, but is cut short when Lily blasts him with the fact that his habit is just as bad as committing adultery. Grabbing her suitcases, she walks out on him. Returning from checking in on Fen, Gloria makes her way to the mini bar and pours herself a glass of wine. Raising her glass, she makes a mock toast to getting everything she wants and bringing Jack down. Picking it up, she smirks when she sees that it is Ji Min. Once their conversation is over, Gloria sips her wine, quite pleased that she got exactly what she wanted. Phyllis is rocking Summer asleep for the evening. Picking up her cell phone, she stared at it; debating if she should call Nick and try to work things out. She was about to flip open the phone when she felt it ring in her hands.
