I think any time he feels weak or vulnerable he feels compelled to do shīt like this. And he's felt weak and disrespected basically since election day. It is so dangerous.

She seemed to be fobbing it off on her agent. I loved her in MD and it would be nice to see her again. She did pop up very briefly at the end of Inland Empire - literally, a bit part in a crowd of other Lynch vets and starlets - but I guess her career hasn't been nearly as meteoric as Watts' (unfortunately) so I can understand her agent holding out.

I think there's some right-leaning folks in the media (Joe Scarborough) who want to put it all on Bannon to normalize him, yes. And the impulse is often there. But I don't think the whole of the media is fitting that frame yet.
