Judi Evans had infused natural strength and backbone into Beth. Elements that helped make Beth more interesting than she would have been in another actresses hands.
Yes, and just a down-to-earth quality.

He was a script writer for ATWT and when Marland died in 1993 Richard became HW in 1994.
He was co-HW, if I'm not mistaken.

Well, that was terribly produced and scripted, but I do miss when soaps mattered enough for anyone to bother with such promotional vehicles.
Ditto.

Does anyone really believe ratings will go down any further without Steve or Ingo? ABC will continue to produce a tired Sopranos knock-off as they've done since the 1990s.
I don't think ratings changed the last time they were off the show. ABC just continues to go with the status quo.

I'd never heard that but at this point nothing re: Joe Stuart would surprise me.
Same here.

Today, I got to watch the beginning of the Family Plan, which is one of my favorite stories on the show. Pure perfection from all involved. All the way down to Keith stabbing CC with the stick pin.
That was a great moment.

Even Jimmy Fallon made a couple of jokes about Steve Burton's vaccination status in his monologue last night. How often does soap news make the late night monologues?
"Get this. Actor Steve Burton was fired from the soap opera General Hospital because he refused to get vaccinated. They kept showing him evidence that the vaccine is safe, but he had amnesia."
"When he found out he was fired, Burton went up to the producer, threw a drink in his face, slapped him, and yelled 'I'll always love you', then stormed out."

I agree. How on Earth did 12 people decide that little bastard was innocent? Not that this is the first or last time it will happen. The obsession this country has with gun owner rights is insane. Too many don't care who is murdered as long as they can keep their precious guns, which has been obvious since Sandy Hook at least.
Not to mention that the punk in question was fetted yesterday by the horrible man in Florida. Need I say more???

Michael Sutton is the next guest on MB’s YouTube series, and he just announced that after that one is Wendy Riche and Shelly Curtis. I might actually watch these!
They do sound interesting. Didn't Genie guest once?

I've found Steve to be politically vocal, misogynistic and racist all at different times. He's just less vocal about it than Ingo. He's trying to play it humble when the fact is he put people at risk and thought the show would cave for him. I'm not beefing with you, I just have absolute contempt for the man and have for many years.
I feel the same way. GH did the right thing. Guess we'll see them next as correspondents on Fox "News".

If he had class he would've stopped putting people in danger months ago and not blamed the show for his getting COVID. LW has survived three cancelled soaps but exposing her to COVID is a new level.
And neither he nor Ingo are the only ones in the cast who tried to claim a religious exemption, BTW.
Thank you!!!

They should have cut something so we could see the winners get the mirrorball
Exactly. Did they really need that C&W number?

This link is paywall-free.
The former governor getting in the way of coordination between state and city health officials seems especially heinous, as well as slowing the accessibility of vital information that critically impacts people's health and lives.
It's just worse than I even thought.
WOW.

I said when it happened (the verdict), the next move by the Trumpers would be to applaud Rittenhouse and make a champion out of him/put him on a pedestal as a virtuous wonderful human being. And that's what the Trumps are doing. All to rally their base of racists. They know who is in their party, and they love it. So you tweet about it and make him a hero and you fan the flames as much as possible. They're so easy to figure out.
You're absolutely right. He's no hero, but an entitled punk. These people are shameless and disgusting.

Off this week, so got my Moderna booster today (I’d gotten my second full Moderna dose in May).
I do agree with the below to an extent, although the people in my life seemed to get boosted long before it was even recommended.
Wow. I remember him well from his time in Cleveland.

This show is SO poorly produced these days. They had so much filler during the finale, including a long clip package at the end, that they nearly ran out of time before Tyra even announced the winners. (They were running the end credits before she opened the envelope, then the mirrorball trophy was all the way across the stage. Tyra was like, “Oh wait, I need to give them the trophy!” ABC cut to The Good Doctor before that even happened.
)
Yup!

I liked NLG's response. She has known and worked with these guys for 25 years. Of course she wouldn't be happy about it.

With that judge??? I would have been shocked if he had been found guilty of anything.

I'm actually surprised that Tony Geary/Luke has never been back on GH.

Stuart Damon was so talented. He could play just about any type of scene. He was especially good during his drug addiction story. I like this scene with Michael.
I remember that scene - so touching. Alan really was robbed of a relationship with his grandson.
