I thought about the Tylo’s being on all four between the two of them lol. Michael was on GH, Y&R, and B&B, while of course Hunter was on Days and B&B. I don’t ever recall Hunter crossing over to Y&R although she made an appearance as herself in a Nanny episode when Fran got a role on Y&R lol.

Oh yeah, so Hunter is also one who's appeared on all 3 networks! :D

Robert Clary was on Days, B&B and Y&R.

Peter Brown was on Days, B&B and Y&R

    The late, great Darlene Conley

Days Warden Edith Baker,, Y&R Rose DeVille, B&B Sally Spectra, GH Trixie

    Vernee Watson-Johnson  Y&R,GH,Days

I was just about to mention Darlene! Haha.

it’s also fun to think of ones who have been on shows in all 3 networks like Andrea Evans:

    OLTL: (ABC) Tina

    Y&R/B&B (CBS) Patty/Tawny

    PSSNS (NBC) Rebecca

Supposedly, the median age of a soap viewer is about 66 years old, which means about half the viewers are even older than that.  The show seems to believe older viewers are so attached to Victor, Nikki, Jack, Phyllis, etal that they'd have a conniption fit and stop watching if those performers weren't featured prominently.

Trust me, I would not stop watching if they decided to put Phyllis in another coma or even GASP kill her off.

I knew it had to do with Fen's substance abuse issues, but I forget the context since they didn't make it into a huge thing.

I'll never stop hoping Kevin is secretly gay/bisexual too at this point.

I’ll just never stop hoping, Kevin will die offscreen. :D

  5. I'm excited!! :D We definitely should be getting some rare 80's clips, including her first scene!

I remember that to be the case sadly for GH's 50th anniversary vs Y&R's 40th 10 years ago, where GH got more press as well as a 20/20 Primetime special highlighting the soap. Y&R never seems to get that popular press, though it deserves to be as highly regarded as GH has been. Y&R is the better of the two...I'm gonna say it! 😮

Well said!    In addition to your list, I'd like to add Andrea Evans to it.   I loved Rebecca and Julian. LOL Julian Crane is one of my all time favourite soap characters because of Ben Masters' portrayal.  His scenes were always entertaining no matter what the material was.  RIP Ben.

Thanks!! And yes Im kicking myself with not including Andrea as well!! :D their dress up sex game, scenes while so OTT always made me burst out laughing!! :D they were a duo I loved to hate!!

  7. Damn!!! :( terrible week!

Julian was one of the most entertaining characters in Daytime, while he was hilarious as a calculating ruthless villain, I loved how they redeemed Julian into a decent human being for those 3-4 years..a shame that was wiped away, a year or so before the show got cancelled, and Julian was more mustache twirling then ever, yet Masters always rose above that OTT material. I particularly loved all his scenes with Kim Ulrich and Juliet Mills! And of course his and Timmy’s scenes were always so fun!

    RIP!!

I thought Nikki the wedding crasher had fallen off the wagon but she didn't.

She was contemplating drinking, and even had found a bottle of vodka (which I forget if she had stashed somewhere and she forgot about it when she became "sober") but she didn't actually crash the wedding drunk! :D

Wow… post April/Heather departure and pre JoshuaM debut…good find!

Per the recap on Usenet, the letter Paul receives is From April stating her and Heather were doing ok etc... I'm glad there was some follow up from the conclusion of the trial, even if it's still kind of Sad Heather never got to know Paul as her father, during this time.

At least we have Victor and Hope's wedding from the next day in French. :) though I'd love to see the English version some day, especially to see Nikki's outburst on Victor and Hope. :D

Most of ‘96 wasn’t bad. It went downhill Nov and Dec 96, worsening into the first half of ‘97

Thanks! I knew both their hairdos didn’t look like ‘89 hairdos 😂

Haha, and to top it off, JW still has a hint of her BD impression, she did for the first 6 months or so as Jill! :D

Hmmm the Jill/Nina scene at the end… is that from the same ep? I’m almost wondering if it’s from 1987? That’s the only time I can remember them being in cahoots like that… and it’s implied that Nina is still working at Jabot…?

That scene is actually from August 24, 1987 :) . I think the partial episode is in the vault, and that's indeed where Nina and Jill were briefly in cahoots, because Cricket was in the car with Phillip when he was drunk driving, and Jill was trying to get Cricket fired from her modeling gig, because she kept the truth from Jill. I think Nina was the one who blabbed on Cricket? haha.

Thanks for keeping up with the unlisted stuff! There's a clip of this date in those "Brad in the cage" clips that used to be on YouTube, but the clip in the Vault is 9:55 and this is 19:45. Maybe @YRfan23 can figure out if this is new material or if part of it is a different episode.

By the way, I'm uploading a bunch of promos from 1986-1989 in the Clips section of the Vault. They come from the big compilations on YouTube, so I'm not going to post them on my channel out of respect to the original uploader.

I'll have to watch the vault clips again, but I definitely think this is 2/28/89, based on the French Recap. :)

    # 4049 02/28/1989 07/05/1993 Télé 7 jours (07/05/1993): Brad tries to escape and tries to call a taxi ... Télé Star (07/05/1993): Brad tries to escape by calling a taxi. Brittany confesses to George that she is in love with Paul. Nikki goes to Victor to have a conversation with him about the baptism of their son ..
