As a whole, it doesn't compare to Season 2. For me, it started slow, but got better as the windup to the wedding got going. And kept being good. But still...hm. Stassi was better off not coming back this season, leaving on a bitch high. And I love that Katie with a backbone.

I was the same skin. I hate those scenes. And yet at the same time, I couldn't look away at the trainwreck. Patrick's meltdown was EPIC. I agree with Prince though. I think John now will start to suspect. This episode had a lot of LMAO moments in it. And the shade being thrown at Patrick was great. 'I'm Bilbo Baggins, motherf*ka!!'

See? I thought it was a great episode with all the character beats. Love the brief moments between Pat and Kev and Pat and Rich. Of course, I'm coming off a weekend with a similar party involving someone I apparently need to have a sit-down with about our growing feelings so I might be a little bias. ETA: And YESSSSSSSSSS at Auggie being the ride-or-die friend for Patrick. It was the first time I've cheered him on when he was anti-Kevin. I have been that friend waaaaay too many times.

And they saved most of the good stuff for the last two episodes then, and momentum really started at the halfway point. which is why I said now that we are at the halfway point and I suspect that they will start to move a little (just a little) faster.
