Same. In any case, all I have is what is written. For me, NuTed has always been weaker in motivation to fight for his marriage so no wonder Nicole decided (after small hints of regret which could have and should have been explored more in the writing) to make the decision to move on. Meanwhile, the writers keep trying to play Ted as straight man to SPS's kookiness which, like my feelings on Dani/Bill, appear to be more endgame than Ted/Nicole. And...I'm fine with that without needing to rehash OGTed vs NuTed. But the writing has to move forward...which it appears to be doing.

Amen. Though my sprinkles are for Carly than they are for Sonny without Brenda.

I blame it on the recast (though understandable about why) and the writing just not giving us enough (if at all) Nicole's POV.

BTG: October 2025 Discussion Thread
Yeah, I would rather Ted and Nicole continue on their separate parts (whether he's straight man to June or SPS since the writers seem bound and determined to have Ted that way while Nicole gets to move on). It will definitely be a different story than Dani's and keep both sisters interesting. And if some time down the road the writers want to go there with Ted and Nicole getting together again, at least that will be in their back pocket.

Very. BUT a good and well-deserved evolution. It's just a shame the potential from the beginning of Jason's return didn't get used cuz of...reasons. But still...his potential lives on. And him being the Guardian of the Qs should continue it thankfully.

Speak on that. Re: Jason and the Qs. And also he has been coming across more as a father than he has since the days of young Michael IMHO.

I know I was tickled when Dani said that. Most def. More Have-Nots brunches and I loved that episode of Anita sitting down with her children and grandkids and great grandkids. It was such a clever way to get recap, POV for the characters, and also plot/character development.

Yeah, I might hate when Carly gets on the loose, but LW has NEVER phoned it in.

They definitely updated cuz when I tried to watch last night's POTOMAC episode, the first icon to pop up is for that show.

BH Well apparently their Instagram site let slip that the new season starts December 4th. They quickly edited it out of the video clip.

OMG! Pllllease let this be the beginning of a new story for Nicole. lol. Same. It's probably the Y&R fan in me, but I like having a stable set of side characters that pop up on a recurring basis. Just like old school Y&R, I hope they get their own little C plot side stories, too. Heck, I was just thinking watching today about if Laura and Donnell are roughly the same age.

RHOP 2 for 2. It was another great episode for the second episode with a lot going on. Stacey vs everyone continued to give such great moments. Tension between Keiarna and Wendy continue to be interesting and weird. And Gizelle stirring the pot between Keiarna and her friend Angel also was a great moment. And at an even! There were several mentions (and a friend) of Karen so her presence is still very much alive. I felt fed. That said...glaring moment of the week...cut scenes that WERE relevant to what's going on. This time: Keiarna had an event at the business that Ashley, Angel, and Tia attended. It looked good. It was fun. AND it sent up perfectly what we got in episode one with Wendy vs Keiarna. However, Episode 1...it didn't make sense. IF this has been in the first episode, it would have made more sense so it's frustrating. The event also set up the tension between Keiarna and Angel that was revealed in this episode. All this...AS A FRAKKING FLASHBACK. Seriously, Production STOP. There's no reason for this and it would have flown perfectly with the first episode. THEN do a flashback to it so we can see Gizelle stir the pot this episode. It's ridiculous that Production on this shows no longer seem to know how to make a narrative flow naturally without a gimmick. That said... GIZELLE. I felt Gizelle continued being the den mother and she came across better this episode. Perhaps it was the fact that we had more of a Karen presence with mentions and Karen's Friend that balanced her out. It was like Karen was there without being there. Meanwhile, I enjoyed her stirring that pot with Keiarna and Angel. Cuz...what was Keiarna thinking? She has been ride-or-die for Karen enough to know better than to trust Gizelle with any tea. And just as expected, Gizelle used it. WENDY. I am going to find it weird watching her given the recent TMZ news. That said...she ain't wrong. re: Stacey. Gizelle warned her at the reunion. So watching her and Stacey in their scenes where she called Stacey out was warranted. And they got to move past it. Also warranted was her reaction to hearing Stacey's news about getting back with her husband. Cuz...girl...SAME. It IS too much. Meanwhile, she still has that feud with Keiarna going on, and I still don't know what to think except that Keiarna might be overacting. That said...I hollered when she said 'I'm at peace. She's in pieces. We are not the same.' ASHLEY. Not Ashley FINALLY coming to work!!! lol. Having an event...though what was that tacky performance? smh. Ashley vs Stacey continues to be entertaining because they are oh so evenly matched. And the situation with the divorce decree has been great. Just when Stacey thought she was going to defeat Ashley, here comes to Gizelle to keep it going. And I love that she's with Josh still and the LOVE HOTEL mention. And...she has a sister??? smh. And it also looks like she's beautifully setting up for Monique's upcoming return, too...which also appears to be connected to Stacey which will give Ashley more reason to go after Stacey. Oh, did I mention Ashley's Confessionals are giving money??? KEIARNA. Team Too Much. lol. And it came back to bite her this week by her putting her trust in Gizelle. Again...what was she thinking? And now she will have issues with Angel cuz she DID backpedal about what she said. Thankfully, she eventually owned it and told her friend. And Angel and her kept it moving. But Keiarna need to be more careful about that. Especially with Gizelle. It was good that she was in that scene with Gizelle, Ashley, and Karen's Friend Cookie though. She appears that she's getting more in the group than she was last season. Oh, and the Ashley/Keiarna tag-team on Stacey...superb. TIA. She continues to give me Garcelle's first season on BH. And that's a compliment. She is getting the lay of the land and a feel for the other ladies. And I feel that is the wise move to do. Perhaps we would have gotten more if Production had shown all of Keiarna's event. So far, I still like her, and she does fine in in the group scenes regardless. Cuz the explaining chin-checking scene was hilarious giving RHOA teaching Mynique how to shade/read scenes. ANGEL. She also continues to fit right in by having an event to bring everyone together. She got a fuller intro this episode and I liked it and her man. Meanwhile, there is already tension between her and Keiarna. Housewives shows can sure break up a friendship so hopefully, that won't be the case here. Especially with Gizelle stirring the pot. STACEY. Another day, another episode with Stacey's name on everyone's breath lips. Baby Kenya's continued rise to the top of this group continued this episode. She is taking her lashings. She is also giving as much as she's getting. Ashley vs Stacey was great last season, but the continuation of it this season has been next level. Stacey's mentioning being back with her husband and telling Wendy will eventually get back to the others so there will be more to talk about against her. And mending fences with Wendy over Happy Eddie might give her an ally. And she stayed good humor over BadBreathGate. Now the upcoming drama with returning Monique guarantees they will stay talking. And she does it all with great poise. Giving...Baby Kenya. Sophomore slump where? Another great episode. Let me go watch tonight's episode.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
SLC Well, I guess I should play some catch-up, huh? I'm still an episode behind but I thought the episode before was good. It was not too crazy after the cliffhanger of the return of S5 Whit. It was a nice calm to the storm that I am sure is coming. If anything, my only issue really was that compared to last season, it was meh. The filler episodes on SLC had so much going on with the housewives' lives that it just flowed. This was still good, but not as good as those last season though. This episode definitely gave some interesting nuggets. Lisa's apology. More backstory about Mary...AND her church. And Bob with her nasty mother. LISA. I don't know what surprised me more. The fact that Lisa actually gave an apology to Bob or that her and Bob met ALONE to talk. Meanwhile, I guess she's off to her next storyline by feuding with Angie K again. I don't know why since Angie K was eating her up at the beginning at the episode. That said...her pettiness at Angie K's job (hey Shaun hey!) was hilarious. HEATHER. What is going on with you? Words I never thought I would say about her. Why do I say that? Her moves continue to be intriguing. She saw what was going down at the beginning at the episode and not only did a good deflect, but made sure she checked Lisa at the same time. What's the endgame this season? MEREDITH. Not relevant until the end of the episode really with Angie K's power play. But usually Meredith doesn't light up until midseason anyway so... WHITNEY. Wow. She vanished didn't she? lol. That said...I liked her scene with Britini. And she gave really good advice. I can't believe that Britini who keeps complaining about not being close to her kids would put Jared who she keeps complaining about over them. Just smh. MARY. She continues to show why she's a great housewife. She has grown so open as the seasons have gone by. And I was shocked by her mother's passing. I feel like it has been posted here, but I completely forgot. And after all these years and speculation, it was nice to hear more from Mary about her relationship with her mother and her grandmother. And look! Her church is back!!! And Mary of course still bringing the humor. In this case...if Mary is going to do anything, it will be having one of her relatives working for her. I hollered. BOB. Is this the first time we have seen Gwen on-screen? I was taken by surprise. I was also taken by surprise at how nasty Bob's mother was to her. Well, I called it nice nasty then because she was probably showing restraint due to the camera being present...something her eyes gave away. It was hard to watch. ANGIE K. 'You do french fries. I do franchises.' LET HER KNOW, ANGIE K!!! Angie was eating Lisa up at the beginning of the episode. And everyone knows it. It was just sad for me that she fell for Lisa's pettiness joke getting a raise out of her. And I don't like she is stirring the pot between Lisa and Meredith. It's going to look bad on her. Another good episode. I still haven't watched this past week, but I look forward to it.- GH: October 2025 Discussion Thread
And I was here for that Sins of the Father storyline when it was airing. For years, the board have been shading Jason for not being there as a father. So I felt PM was very entuned with his audience that he started to play with a story that was tailored to that. It was also something refreshing for Jason to deal with as a bonus. Yeah, that all sounds so intriguing and the potential for it writes itself. And Jason would be pressed about even the slightest hint of Jake and Drew bonding over trauma. But like you said...these writers would be so against it.- Y&R: October 2025 Discussion Thread
FACTS.- GH: October 2025 Discussion Thread
But would the writing go there or would it feel like Rocco/Britt 2.0? That said...ooooo because that also plays on the marvelous undercurrent of tension between Jason and Drew and give it another layer of complexity. And I'm always down for Jason vs Drew. And of course, using Liz's son to do so would sell on that idea to use it to soften Drew. But would they bring Liz's kid back?- BTG: October 2025 Discussion Thread
Not me seeing this as I just watched that scene. lol. But...LOVE. It's also a way to keep her around a little longer after the climax of this part of the story. Heck, that would make the scene she had with SPS be another scene of foreshadowing. As for Nicole, I have made it no secret she's my favorite character on the show so just like how I was when I was waiting for Anita to get a story, I'm just getting impatient for more presence and POV from her. I would love for her to be in a triangle just her sister which is just as dynamic. Carlton did for me. That is usual he admitted he sees Nicole as the one who got away and then he made sense.- GH: October 2025 Discussion Thread
Exactly why I said earlier that he could use some softing. I just don't know how they can do it. Because if I saw him with Scout, I would think of her more as a pawn now than his own daughter. Not helped by how he acts. Meanwhile, they can't use Willow because it is so clear she is over him. So...how? You go, gal!!! Diving into a show for an awesome actress! Guilty of that myself. I liked reading this.- GH: October 2025 Discussion Thread
I think you are right. There are so many soaps I watched as a teen that I would LOVE to have the time to go back and watch with adult eyes now. That period of time is one of them. I love gothic and my mother had talked about Luke and Laura from as far back as I can remember. So seeing the promo with the hand and the ring and asking my mother about it...who called it being the Cassadines...always stood out for me. So when I saw one on screen...well...lol. Like I said...a thinking man's bad boy. I totally understand. I love the nuances PM brought to Drew. I definitely agree on CVE/Korte. There was so much potential there. Thankfully CM could still run with what he was given, giving a good villain. My only problem is him going after kids, and they really don't have anything or anyone that can allows him to show a softer side so he's not a complete villain. Yeah, now that I am thinking of my memories of Ryan Lavery, you are probably right. Up until PM's writing and this current darker turn for Drew, CM never did anything for me as Drew. Unless he had a beard.- BTG: October 2025 Discussion Thread
I mean...if I sat down to think of the men on BTG...beyond their hotness of course...the only people who stand out would be Bill, Andre, Vernon (when he's Dark Vernon more for me), and honestly TurtleneckTed. They have very specific vibes that in spite of Andre and Jacob looking alike on screen sometimes stands out. Meanwhile, the ladies...I can pick out Nicole, Dani, Eva, Kat, SPS, Mona, Vanessa, Anita, Shanice etc., etc., etc. There's a spoil of riches. Ugh. Tomas. - BTG: October 2025 Discussion Thread
