  1. THE SHADE!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. I am sooooo just here for the comments.
  3. See? Monica's mother has been firmly established as thirsty so my automatic response is to just take this with a grain of salt anyway. Part of the reason I have not watched the full video. Monica's an actress? AND...? She's not the first one. And again...it just seems like another page from the RHOA S5 Kenya playbook for me. And regardless of the reveal in the finale, Monica for all the scheming...is still upfront. Or has a straightforward response to things. Like the family drama on Bermuda. She was upset that the family decided to not see her. She blamed her mother originally. She came out online and said it had NOTHING to do with her mom. Meanwhile...Mama likes to throw a nasty comment. While I am the middle sarcastic child to my own mother, I am also levelheaded and firm. I'm also from the South where you are taught to respect your elders. My mother and I have had our moments, but yeah I would not talk to her like Monica does to her mother, but I'm not judging her and her mother because how they act. I don't see how online people do from that particular episode. It was clear she tried to disengage. Now...that said...hearing that might have been a set-up...is saddening and does make me side-eye Monica. So does this leaking. But...it does not at all take away from her impact/presence to me. I know someone suggested online that Heather has known since the season began about Monica, but was waiting for the right moment to drop the bomb. Given you know what I think of Heather, I am tempted to believe it. Moreso seeing this because Jen and Heather shared everything.
  4. SLC Now that I've decompressed from the madness...stay the hero long enough to become the villain indeed. That finale was...a LOT. Season 4 has definitely been a good HW season after the horrible Season 3. And while the season started with Meredith vs Angie K, it slowly turned into Monica vs Lisa, a petty feud that grew into anything but. Monica might be poor, but she was blunt, funny, and transparent with one-liners, an ability to own her sh*t, and gifs a-plenty. Which makes the reveal of Monica being basically the Gossip Girl of Salt Lake City...just mind-blowing. On one hand, Monica DID say at the beginning of the season who she was...right down to knowing everyone's secrets. Well...now we know why. lol. It was all there in plain sight. So in a way...she didn't lie. On the OTHER hand, she did not come out and say it to the girls...just the audience in Confessional. So the fact she's a blogger that Bravo hired and she not only took Jen Shah down, but got completely in the group is just a level of insidiousness that is scary. And...tt all tracks to. Going back all the way to Season 1. The flashbacks. I remember so much of the videos that dropped on Jen around that time. That was MONICA??? The stealing from Meredith's store. Meredith with the tea about Monica having been to the store before when she acted like she had not. The whole Angie K is a Greek Mafia story makes so much sense now and vindicates Meredith. But...that's the thing. It vindicates ONLY Meredith. The rest of the cast (sorry, Fabulous Ice) have become so unlikeable that can one even fault Monica really? And if we are to take Monica at her word...and up to this point she has been truthful, heck she owned being a blogger so STILL truthful actually...she only came after Jen Shah...something she has said all season. And something that tracks as well. And unlike the only ladies, she said just that. Jen was foul for what she did to all those elderly people. Yet...they are coming down on Monica that while bad for sure does not hold a torch to what Jen did. And they kept Jen on as a friend. Which Production also enabled Jen because they have gone harder on Jen last season rather than hiding behind Mary as a scapegoat. And that dinner...the reveal...I agree with Daytime Fan...is right up there with RHOV Jody's expose which was a beautiful slow burn that paid off for that show. However, Jody wanted to be in denial. You could literally see Monica's wheels turn when it started. From unbothered queen to then owning it to her giving little teadrops to her clearing ALL...OF...THEM. That was exquisite. I had to rewatch...and will probably rewatch again. Not since Kenya on RHOA back in her early seasons have I seen a cast member take on a whole cast and cleared them. She destroyed Lisa again with that leather comment. She taunted Angie K with what she knew and killed with her classless comment when Angie K tried to throw the flowers with ice on her face. And she gagged Heather in the middle of her clearly rehearsed monologue when she said 'I'm glad you told the truth for once.' If looks could kill... And through it all she was giving for me vintage Sami Brady on Days of Our Lives circa late 90s. Back then, even when Sami was exposed for her manipulations, Sami ALWAYS had some ace/trump card up her sleeve that winded up with her being the last bitch woman standing. And if that coda is not a sign of things to come...and she was totally Sami in it and that was more chilling than how the last episode ended...then I trust that Monica is going to play that trump card. To paraphrase a fired housewife...you wanted a villain, here she is. Bring on the reunion for me! I actually want to see how she will play this going forward. Monica's first season has definitely played out like she had Kenya's RHOA S5 playbook so I would love to see how she wiggles out of this to come back. Especially since popular opinion is on her side over the other ladies. Speaking of the other ladies... MEREDITH. I thought if anyone got the sentimental vote out of the audience, it was Meredith. Always our heroine. Her reaction to Heather confessing what she found out looked genuine. And even at the dinner when she confronted Monica about her cameras, Meredith was still genuine in her hurt and disappointment. And I loved that she still was calm and collected in her own way, making it clear that she was not saying that Monica stole anything. LITTLE GIRL. I honestly have nothing to say about her. She was actually the only person outside of Meredith that Monica did NOT come for. My question is...why? Hmmm. LISA. I'm just...smh. Bye, Fabulous Ice. From next week (or whichever part of the reunion) where she comes for Monica's children...bad move btw...to last night...Monica got Lisa all the way together. She had her energy matched. She got called out on the workers. She got imitated AGAIN. Monica met her on that level and just destroyed her. A whole clown. So she was just there...for entertainment? And I think you all know how much I loved Lisa, but the bloom is off the rose for me I guess. ANGIE K. I guess my personal favorite moment was Monica gathering her all the way together when she dared to start up. 'Watch yourself.' lol. Monica tried to warn her. But Angie K wanted to be a 'classless wh*re.' (c) Monica Garcia by throwing that flower bowl. Just the look on Monica's face when she told her 'Do it.' And I forgot...'Pay the IRS.' lol...which I believe it was dropped last week or so that Angie K DID owe the IRS. lol. But...what DOES Monica have on Angie K about the blog page. Because Angie K STFU with the quickness after that. HEATHER. I'm sorry, but NO. Last episode it was her Jen coming out at the end. And now these rehearsed like she's Pheadra Parks monologue. GIRL, BYE. I saw online was praising her for her 'performance.' Uh...yeeeeah no. She was doing her job and did not come across as flawless awesome as Monica. She came across as a child throwing a tremptum that should have been reserved for Jen BEFORE Jen was in jail. It all came across fake to me. As fake as her reveal that Jen DID hit her in the face last season. Misplaced anger...party of one! Monica gagged her in the end. I guess the only credit I can give to Heather was that she figured it out. BUT...if what Monica said is true and Monica IS more truthful than Heather...the main person who ran the site was Heather's OWN HAIRDRESSER. As in...she got the tea from Heather's own lips and we have seen Heather gossip about the ladies for all four years. Then again...if it took the characters on GOSSIP GIRL six seasons to figure it out...I guess Heather is a little bit smarter. I guess. MONICA. QUEEN. Because it takes some balls to be at a table, own your crazy doings, and then she proceeded to clear everyone in sight. No crying. No running away. She met them on their level. And she WON. And just like that, she has become a lightning rod of discussion online. All in her first season. I want to see where she goes because she is STILL maneuvering BTS...like you see that video of her and Danna from last season already setting up for s5 if she's back...the makings of a villain. I...could be down for that. Actually. Outside of Tamra on OC, are there any more good HW villains on the shows now? A great episode. And will definitely go down in the hall of fame of HW shows. So I would say...nice rebound, SLC. While Lisa can be a LOT, I will give her this much. While I am happy to see how much she loves her kids now, she did not want kids at all originally. She was truly the rich trophy wife. She did all that because she loved Lenny and Lenny wanted kids. That said...I agree with you because Lisa really does spend too much because she truly did love her lifestyle. She also needs to adjust.
  5. SLC WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. Let me just collect myself. Cuz Monica gave Sami Brady during 90s DAYS when she would get exposed and STILL have a trump card that left her last woman standing after her lies were exposed. And Monica cleared ALL...OF...THEM AND JEN SHAH, too. That...was a LOT.
  6. SLC REUNION TEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ETA: LORD...NOT JEN ENTERING THE CHAT...due to finale mess.
  7. SLC Yep. It sounds like it is going to be a doozy of a finale. I have two hours to go. So I went ahead and watched the last episode to be ready for it. Yeah, I'm finding the cast trip uneven. The start was great. Next episode meh. And then a little meh here as well. The thing was this episode started off so well, too. I've always felt Meredith was the heroine of this group. And one thing that an old school soap heroine (or a final girl in a horror movie) will be as nice as the girl next door, but have no problem using their brains/wit...and claws...if they have to. And that was what was on display for me. Last time there was the mystery of who was behind the text to Monica and Meredith, and the group using it to stage a gang-up on her. And they tried to do it again this episode. So watching Meredith taking a step back to collect herself and THEN methodically take the girls out one by one was a thing of beauty and so a Meredith (who after all has a law degree) thing to do. That is so why I love her. And speaking of love, as much as I love Monica....oooooo she was so pressed. You would think she was the one to plant the info so everyone would go after Meredith. A shame since Meredith (outside of Mary and Angie K) was willing to build a friendship with her. And Meredith would be a strong friend to have. And speaking of friendship...or alliances...I think it's just time for Bad Weather to take the gloves off and just unleashed all they have on each other in 'the vault.' (c)Yolanda Hadid. At this point, I want nothing slow of mutually assured destruction for those two bobbleheads. Little Girl was just looking for ts on an ant (c) Kyle Richards with her feuding with Heather over something that was in the book. And I actually believe Heather did go to her and asked her multiple times about it. But they are both so jealous of each other now that they are in the 'In Crowd' that it's just boring. And they both stir the pot and never what they seem. I found the end of the episode chilling honestly. A lot of us have had Heather pegged. And I have definitely said she's a subtle version of Jen. Well...that mask slipped when she was with the producer and saw what was behind it. Imagine if Little Girl kept poking... MEREDITH. She could do a masterclass just like Heather on OC this past season (from what you all have told me) on how to avoid a takedown season. Because I loved every minute of watching her maneuvering. Boring...where? She saw they (Heather, Lisa, Angie K) were coming for her on and on and on. And I loved she kept to herself. She got calm and collected after exploding. And then...she engaged. She sat down woman to woman and talked DIRECTLY to Angie K. And she talked so adult...so logical...that even Angie K had no choice, but to mend fences because she would look pathetic and stupid by not doing so. And then she got to Lisa by playing on her ego...cuz we know Fabulous Ice loves her ego stroked. And the fact that Monica could do NOTHING about it but pouted....chef's kiss. And we knew Bad Weather would fall in line to stay in the crowd and go where the wind blows so it was an easy win for Meredith. Class DISMISSED. LISA. It's not about you. Only to have her say it in the episode got a giggle out of me. ANGIE K. I admit...I got a lot more respect out of her after that talk she had with Meredith. That was just respect there. I did giggled at her falling out of her side during the Bad Weather fight. MONICA. Nice try. Love you, but you are going to have to do a lot better to take out the Queen. LITTLE GIRL. Just made a whole mess out of a molehill. All that studying with Ashley Darby only for her to fumble the ball. But I guess I can give her points for poking the bear enough that Heather's true face came out. Kudos. HEATHER. I am really curious for @Cat's opinion on that last scene. While Heather was completely pot-stirring and pitting Monica against Meredith earlier in the episode, that scene with the producer. Ooooo her slip showed. And I know you and I have been talking about Heather's mask for years. I see why she was friends with Jen. Bring on the finale!!! So I hear at a brief glance online. I can't wait. Hour and a half to go I believe.
  8. Oh, so THAT's why they brought Xander back!!! Well, that should make everyone who has been wanting that loose story thread dealt with on this board happy. And Finn and Steffy are overdue some drama that is NOT named Sheila. I do like they are taking their time with Eric...well, backburning his storyline now that he is recovering from the cure (Btw great job on the makeup on JMc cuz he looked like death) to focus on something new. And it feels like a doozy. I wasn't around for it but know of it so I loved the flashbacks.
  9. And I went looking, too...lol. Let me see if i can edit. ETA: DONE.
  10. Hahahahahahaha!!! My hungover ass is DEAD.
  11. I saw a picture and fell out!!! MESSY MIA OMFG!!!! But...YES. We should be seeing Jacqueline this season as well per midseason trailer. I'm excited cuz I loved Battle of the Receipts last reunion. There's even a picture of the front of the man as well. I bet Gordon is pissed.
  12. RHOP Messy Mia did WHAT????????????????????????
  13. RHOM And we know I'M watching. Happy joy for me in spite of work and Bravo trying to sabotage it like they are RHOA/RHOP's Production team. If anything I'm shocked we haven't heard from @Chris B who loves RHOM as well. And I've done with Episode 7...the first part of the cast trip and... God, I stay loving this show. So I can't see why no one has been watching live...unless they are busy like me. lol. One of the best things I love about RHOM has been its telenovela vibe. There was so many people. And there's so much going on. And in true HW form, there are events going on that are interesting. But their individual stories are also good. I was not bored at all about Julia and the opera singing. And seeing it all come together...and the cleverness of the fact that all the time Martina was doing cancer and thinking Julia was ignoring her when Julia was just planning a surprise for her because she knew her love would beat it...that was adorable. And then the event itself...the women and their fashion was GIVING. Another thing the women give? DRAMA. Collectively AND individually. I couldn't believe it, but Julia vs Marysol has legs. And given what's coming...could this Adriana takedown season slowly be turning into a Marysol takedown season? Cuz Julia started with her at the start of the season...and now she's coming for her at the dinner the first night of Palm Beach. And she's not alone. Adriana. Alexia...of all people? Then there's Larsa vs Guerdy. Larsa has been dragged and rightfully so and deserves every bit of shade that Guerdy has thrown at her. And that does not even begin to touch on the beginning of Lisa vs Kiki. That does bring me back to what I said above...they ALL have stories and they are not boring. We continue to get fallout from Lisa and Lenny cuz...you used the car he put a TRACKING DEVICE ON??? REALLY, GIRL?? lol. There's definitely something brewing with Alexia like there always is. I mentioned Julia and the opera singing. And of course, there's Guerdy and her dealing with cancer. So...how are things standing as I'm two episodes away from catching up... ALEXIA. Now, Alexia, hunni, what is THIS??? I was right there with Guerdy when she asked what was up with Alexia throwing Marysol under the bus. I guess she's really going in on that apology tour she's been on. Still I was in shock. LARSA. Just...NO. For any good moment she had...like showing off and supporting her man, she does something stupid. She tried to turn Guerdy's cancer into a 'all about her' thing...and even worse...tried the 'is it real?' game. That was foul. Guerdy read her a$$ and I was here for every moment. Though 'couldn't find a GPS if it hit on your a$$' did take me all the way out. And Production was there every moment for the rollback. That was chef's kiss. GUERDY. I felt she has handled the Larsa mess so well so far. I was definitely beside myself so far with her going to the basketball event or anything and everyone around her already KNEW she had cancer. The definition of awkward. In any case, she gave Larsa all the clues she needed and then she properly read her. I also like how much strength she has been showing in light of her cancer diagnosis. She is still going to events. She has a new perspective that she's been showing off, too. JULIA. Speaking of new perspective...WOW. Like I've been saying...GET YOUR RHOA S7 50CYNT ON, GIRL!!! lol. I didn't even realize how important Julia has been until this first dinner party at Palm Beach. I haven't noticed that Marysol vs Julia has been on simmer since the first couple of episodes. Why? Because she had so much going on BESIDES that. Dealing with Martina. Setting up her opera surprise for Martina. The fact there are now cracks in her friendship with Adriana because of her being befriended by Alexia. Not to mention being a good friend to Guerdy as well. So different from her first season. Some called her boring. I found her refreshing. But she has been a dog without a bone on Marysol...and I'm loving it. It's giving 'that friend who does not forgive the guy that hurt your best friend even when your friend does' and I'm here for it. Moreso because they seem evenly matched. I hollered when Marysol knew who Julia's source was. LISA. Smh. I just...a mess!!! I did not expect all this mess about her talking about Lenny too much. And while I liked Kiki's tough love on it, I was bothered that Lisa did not see it that way...then her scene at the scene smelling...resonated. As someone who has been coming out of a situation now...funnily enough it really started NYE LAST YEAR...I can see how hard it is to get over someone. At least she has someone. But she needs to SEE that. In time. Until then, I'm here for the petty feud. NICOLE. Loved her in the car with Adriana and Kiki when they were dancing/singing to FI-YA. That was soooo relatable. But so was the whole car ride to Palm Beach. lol. MARYSOL. Are we getting a takedown season? Color me shocked cuz I thought it was supposed to be an Adriana takedown season? hehe. ADRIANA. QUEEN.
  14. Oh, lord...they messing with John's past again?? Happy to see that I'm getting more Bill/Li scenes. But I see they are going to be diving into that subplot with her sister and Bill as well. I thought the same thing.
  15. I keep wanting to say they had all that at the 'cabin' well house when they did the Claire is Eve reveal. If anything they could have stretched Nikki as hostage out LONGER to give it more stakes. Or they getting all the Newmans there one...by...ONE. But I can agree to disagree. I thought about saying this in my previous post, but this works here. William Bell was definitely so great at how he layered his stories...as well as paced them. I felt JG (or the strike writers) did decent with this one...and I feel the same for the strike writers work over at GH. Moreso but I digress...because this had a beginning, a middle, and (as of 12-26) an end of sorts. But one can't help but wonder if we will ever have layed pacing like William Bell had ever again? Because yes, Bell would have you feeling sorry for ALL the characters if not understanding what makes them tick. Watching CZ vamp it up, I was just happy to see someone standing up to Victor and coming across as a threat. But yeah, she was one dimensional.
  16. 12-15 First of all, MOOOOOOOOOOONIIIIIIIIIIICAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good to see LC back on screen. Speaking of keepers, can we keep Lois? Her and Olivia decking up the Q mansion with Leo was adorable. Annnnd here comes Tracy!!! Back at last. And already setting up a storyline for her I see. Okay, I'm getting used to seeing Adam. Though I would rather have him in Joss/Dex's orbit and nowhere near Sprina outside of friends. But perhaps it's because it's nice to see a teen/college set with the stories that go with it again. As much as I love seeing 'Beast' weave his web, I have noticed that we have not seen Ms. Wu in a minute. With Ned scheming on Nina, too it's good to see scheming and villains popping up to spin tales. All THIS. But...curious...do you see ANYONE on the current canvas that could work. outside of Drew...though that could be fun cuz...CARLY. And of course, I want BRENDA if they went there.
  17. Because we know Brenda is so connected that it will ALWAYS work. I wouldn't mind seeing her AWAY for Sonny for a minute myself. It's not the show is ending so they can do the Y&R Victor/Nikki approach of having years apart from each other with their own love interests, own stories, and the briefest of interactions a la teases.
  18. You know I love you, but I have to disagree with the setup on the Claire/Jordan storyline. It all started with Nikki mentioning needing an assistant. The viewers got to see the interview with Claire (and here we were discussing how HK was bland and I was in the minority because I said she looked like she gave crazy eyes and looked what happened. lol). She got hired and was kept in the background as other stories happened like Tucker/Ashley, Tales of the Giggly Heffa, my lovely triangle of Heather/Daniel/Lily, etc. where characters gave her tea on how characters were connected. Claire crossed with a few characters...mostly Newmans if not all Newmans. We also saw she appeared good at her job. I felt like that happened over a few weeks, but it did happen slow and gradually. Speaking of gradual THEN they added mystery. Claire's having a stare at a picture of Victoria. The newspaper clippings. And of course, Claire taking Nikki hostage. And then...enter Jordan. Now the Jordan stuff to me felt rushed. But I assume they had CZ for a limited time. I would love to keep her, but I felt like it was overdue that the Newmans had some drama time. And it's been a minute...outside of the start of Sally/Nick and I do love that this story was firmly started and still continues to Nikki... since I was interested in anything Newman versus the Abbotts who are still spinning storyline gold for me as well as the Winters with Mamie back. And I felt it was tense for the most part and action-filled. And I still loved the coda of Jordan in the walls with the music and camera word. I love the gothic of it. That said...Jordan on the loose and the aftermath has been a little zig-zagging for me. Perhaps they did the 'Claire is Eve by DNA' part too soon. And like you, I do want to know if Cole is sticking around because potential. But I felt this story has been quite well paced and not in a done in three weeks (which is JG's MO) kinda of way. Beats have been played IMHO. Heck, I'm currently watching 12-26 and they keep reminding in writing that Jordan and Eve had fallen out...something they touched on at the climax at the house, but I have noted how they keep reminding the audience. Watching now and I am mostly feeling the same way. However, i felt better when Nikki said she was faking being THAT amount of drunk. I was like 'well, go Nikki' cuz her bobbling was bugging me. I also wanted Nikki to grab the gun. Cuz...really? I mean...Nikki has tangoed with Diane Jenkins in office for pete's sake. I expected a little more out of her.
  19. Well that has been the Universe over this month and today (well now) is 12/31/23 alias 123123. More definitely intriguing. Same. OH...? Amen.
