This has been one of the most heart-breaking episodes ever, and I've been watching since 86. The writing and acting have been on point.  I felt like i was watching film noir.

@FaulknerEveryone in the inner circle banging was a stupid idea. It takes show years before that happens. I just binge watched You're the Worst. It took most of that run for everyone to do that. I did like the Nathan Maloney mention.

@FaulknerI'm currently on episode five. Totally agree with you. It lacks the spark original recipe UK and the America version had. Thus far i'm not invested in any of the characters. At least the diversity feels organic not shoehorned. While not as horrible as the Gossip Girl reboot. It's just meh.  They should've saved the shooting for the season finale. Brodie & Mingus have no chemistry at all. Juliette Lewis is wasted. I like Kim Cattrall as Brodie's mom. But i've heard from spoilers. About her story, so i'm not looking forward to it.

She didn't even get a good-bye in that scene.

Cassandra James guest starred on the show Sort Of. In the two episodes she appeared in she was used more than in the four yrs at GH.

When i was a kid. I used watch this show in syndication on WOR.

It did.  But I couldn't remember if the Pub rooms look similar.  Again that is a lot of maneuvering everyone had to do in the span of an hour and half or however long that kids movie was.

The pacing is totally off. No proper built-up at all. Lucas just came back. A couple of episodes before the murder. Lucas being a suspect in his niece's murder. Doesn't set well with me. The story lacks any real logic. This murder mystery is going to be just as bad or worse than Charlie's murder.

Lucas is for sure a suspect.  He knows Abby knows about the kidnapping.  Listen, it doesn't really make sense that he would murder his own niece.  His crimes are really escalating quickly.  Is he really in Xander's hotel room?  I thought it was a room at the Pub.  

 

The room Lucas was in looks like the Salem Inn.

I was confused with Chad and Abigail's closet where Leo was hiding while Abigail was ovulating. Was that a closet? Do people hang large picture frames inside closets? Is that a thing? 

I'm loving your spot-on humorous observations. It almost makes me want to rewatch it. Since i missed some of the observations. I wonder if the DiMera mansion has security?
