I’m just thinking about the similar story on Elite, where you had a character who was Muslim filmed having sex in a high school locker room, and it was released to the whole school. Now that story had stakes, even though the show dropped the ball with the fallout (and was small beans on a show where kids are murdering each other). Cam/Joss doesn’t really have any of that.

Could you imagine if the GH teens. Were written like the teens on Elite or Euphoria.

I'm watching it now. Johnny is actually calling himself Johnny Angel. Xander looks nothing like Alex Marshall. The historical references are embarrassingly done.

The SOD article says that JohnnyDevil tells Jake that he is the Devil and then JoDevil knocks Jake out. Then the devil does a mindwipe of Jake's brain - just the part about Johnny being the devil.  When Jake wakes up, Johnny lies and says that Jake attacked him.  Jake is like wtf why are you saying this?  Gabi believes Johnny.  She is still fooled.  Later this week, Gabi breaks up with Jake.   I haven't seen the episode yet but that's what the article said.  

The article continues that Jake is really upset and confused by all this.  Jake runs into his buddy Ben and tells all the confusing events to Ben.  Ben replies to Jake, hey you know Ciara and I were  wondering if Jake is possessed.

All this sounds dreadful.

Esme showing Joss & Cam having sex felt flat. It's just a bunch of random kids and a teacher. Even if they were family and friends would anyone care? It's not like they were having an affair. Or a kinky drug fueled orgy.  Besides causing some embarrassment. I really don't see the point to this. They're a couple in a relationship. It's what couple's do.
