Brooke - You don't want an unwanted child in this day and age, honey. Look what happened to me when I got pregnant by Deacon. Hope (disgusted) - That was how I was conceived. Brooke - Oh, honey, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like this... I forgot. Just tell me you are using protection! Hope - We are. Now LEAVE. Brooke (standing inappropriately close) - Can I see? Hope - Mom, ew, you are sick. Leave us alone! NOW! Brooke - I knew it... you are not using protection. Hope (angry) - Like mother! Like daughter! Close up to Brooke tearing up in her left eye.

I can already envision the characters and see some of their faces. My imagination is burning up... which is so wonderful. I think the show has an amazing cast. Nothing is missing. They have strong vets and fresh new faces. I'm thrilled and I am counting the days. This is going to be a historic moment in the history of SOAP OPERAS. Something we have all been waiting for. Let the genre live! And cheers to at least 2 more new soap operas in the next 5 to 10 years!

I need to re-start my viewing of this show... I watched more than 7-8 months of it... and then had to take a pause to watch Edge of night. But amazingly enough... I haven't forgotten a single thing I watched and I can jump straight back into it. It's so simple. In the good way. I've had shows where I would watch them and in couple of weeks I don't even remember what was going on. I'm still in 1968.

And it was such a buzz-kill after the incredible run she had as Caroline. I was quite shocked by the D-level material they were giving her. And her exit... was so pathetic. The mid 90s was the culmination of this... SO many NEW characters that were coming and going... your head would spin. He didn't know what he was doing. Then he found some stability in late 1990s to mid 2000s... and then it all started again. Right now we are in a midst of a zero impact era - every new face he's added these past few years... has flopped. It's like some kind of a joke. And the exits are more and more becoming bizarre. That's why he has to write Taylor/Ridge/Brooke triangle for the 9182th time.

Brooke has a sensor for sexual activity. Anywhere it happens she starts sniffing and soon is up there in people's business. And if you are not careful... and not kick her out immediately... you'll be the one opening the door and finding her with your man very soon. She'll sniff too much and not be able to look back. Hope forgot that in this house...every man has to go through Brooke first. That's Bradley Bell's rule number 1. 💋
