  1. December 19th 1988 - ❄️The Snowflake Ball ❄️ The Snowflake Ball has began and the guests are arriving one by one on the horse-drawn sleighs. We have people dancing, we have people arguing in the background... and Josie, dressed in her brand new dress coming down the stairs, announced as the princess of the ball... to Mathew's awe and surprise. ❤️ On the other side of town, we have Rachel confessing to Mac in their bedroom about her financial contribution to Sam's success. Mac, of course, is irritated and disappointed by how Rachel hid all of this from him. We later see them driving in their blacked-out windows car in a powerful scene, in which Rachel asked him to forgive her. Sadly for Iris, it seemed that Mac is going to forgive his wife. And even more sadly for Iris... the first thing that Mac wanted to do after arriving at the ball was to support Amanda... and not dance with Iris who got the cold shoulder instead. One positive for Iris though - Amanda and Sam's argument lead to the word divorce been uttered. By both of them. In a contrasting picture to Sam and Amanda's toxicity, we have a happy on the outside couple - Donna and Michael... not without a sinister presence that is becoming evident in their lives. Iris has set her eyes on Michael and after stealing a dance with him, she warned him that she doesn't care if he's married. He turned her away, but we'll see for how long. Donna, be careful darling, your bestie wants to be with your man. Talking about Donna... she was so passive aggressive with Sharlene - tried to make her ashamed of not being able to fit in among all the rich and glamorous at the ball. Even corrected her dress in a very condescending way. Thank God Sharlene didn't fall for her tricks... and in the end of the evening, it seemed like she and John are so happy together, far from these fake people in dresses and tuxedos. John caressed her cheek and told her that he feels much happier... when they are alone. Oh, Sharlene, you've struck gold, honey. The evening got to a soapy climax when Vicky decided it's time to say Yes to Jamie's marriage proposal. At this same moment, we also had Lisa realizing she needs to get Jamie BACK. We saw Lisa struggling to go past the crowds of dancing people... and we were left with a suspense if she'll be able to come and stop the moment just in time, before Vicky says Yes. At that exact moment... snowflakes started falling from the ceiling. Making it even harder for her to get to Jamie. The episode was probably one of the best soap opera episodes I've seen - full of drama, glamour, beautiful dialogue and suspense. OVERALL - Favorite moment - Iris trying to get her hooks into Michael. Iris Michael.mp4
  2. MAGICAL. ❤️
  3. How I warm up my voice while I shower... 😂 @Contessa Donatella dddddddddddddddddd.mp4
  4. @Contessa Donatella
  5. I really will feel lost without it. I fell into the rabbit hole and got addicted to scrolling and watching feuding tik-tokers live streams and battles. I fall asleep listening to crazy people screaming at each-other. It's like a cheaper version of a soap opera.
  6. Are we still going to be able to use it in Europe. I will not be able to survive without tik tok. I am addicted to it sadly.
  7. The last 2 episodes were incredibly boring. Leave it to Bradley Bell and Bold to have a great (for their low standards) few episodes, finally hook you with a Friday cliffhanger... and then have you listen to 2 episodes of nothing, but repeated dialogue from last week. Yawn. Why did I expect anything more? For a moment I forgot this is 2024 Bold and any sort of excitement is not gonna last.
  8. dddd.mp4 Me arriving at my mother in law's casual dinner.
  9. Count me in in this wish. ❤️ I will pray for this on Christmas. ❄️
  10. Our Another World Pre-Christmas Marathon continues! December 15th 1988 We start off with Vicky and her lack of Christmas tree! Jamie to the rescue... sort of. Vicky wanted more with him... (had a loooove fantasy) as usual, but Jamie is still Jamie and... still not biting on her hook completely. She wants to feel his entire love and attention. Good luck, Vicky! I doubt you'll ever get them. After you basically manipulated him into leaving the girl he loves. Not going to happen the easy way, darling. You have some karma coming your way. Josie, sweet naive girl! What mess did you get yourself into! Going around the room with the bag of gifts, entertaining guy after guy after guy! Wait till Mathew finds out about this! And of course... the fun and games sped out of control quite quickly when you have in mind the level of testosterone in the room. Josie somehow ended sitting in one of the frat boys' lap... just in time for Rachel's expressive trademark glare to catch that moment. We had a cute moment in which Liz came and wanted legal advice from Cass... about a noisy dalmatian that has been disturbing her sleep. NOW... Hear me out - I AM THE SAME. My husband laughed while we watched that scene and said - She's just like you! You threaten to sue people like that all the time. And... I not only threaten - I sue! And I've won every time I've sued someone. And I've been having a similar problem these past few days with noisy neighbors who have decided to do construction... while I'm having my winter vacation. So Liz, girl... don't be ashamed - wanting to sue people for their noisy dalmatian and stating that it's causing you severe emotional distress is absolutely fine by me. Liz is my kind of girl. 💅 The highlight of the episode for me was Liz coming to visit Rachel and having a powerful scene of forgiveness. When Rachel asked Liz what her plans were for Christmas... she responded - Absolutely nothing. Then Rachel invited her to their house. I felt in in my heart. 10/10 December 16th 1988 It's time! The ball is about to begin... Iris is making final touches... and we have backstage drama all around Bay City - so many people unsure if they are going or not. Iris's plans to break up Sam and Amanda seem to be working, because we have Amanda informing Iris that she is probably not going to come to the ball. Iris faking sympathy as usual. But smirking to the side. Amanda, sadly... is buying whatever Iris is selling. We have Josie, happy and giddy, finally on the brink to buy her much needed dress... but long and behold... the bitchy woman at the counter said - Not today... We don't except this kind of payment, missy. So... Josie was in tears for a moment, with no way to buy her dress and the time ticking! But only until Iris arrived to pick up her own dress and saw Josie in distress. Like in a scene from a Disney movie... The Queen asked The Girl - What is the matter, sweetheart, why are you crying... And after realizing what a golden chance she has to manipulate Mathew through Josie... Iris offered to buy her the dress. Josie agreed, not realizing that she's going to have to pay a price for this later. Iris never does something good just for the sake of the good. We had the marvelous Sharlene coming down the stairs in her beautiful white dress and John, as dashing as a prince... in complete awe of her. This is the first time he is seeing her out of her work and around the house clothes. I had goosebumps. I love Sharlene and John - their chemistry should be studied! I am rooting for them soooo much. ❤️ In a contrasting storyline we had one of my favorite characters, Mary helping a girl - a domestic violence victim. This is the second time she is at the hospital... and this time Mary offered to bring her into her home so she can feel safe. Her abusive boyfriend... who stalked her to the hospital... watched them leave... and I couldn't help but wonder... Is something bad going to happen to Mary? Back to the ball... The snowflake fairytale is about to begin, when Iris, dressed like the lead character she is... arrived on a horse-drawn sleigh. Girls - watch and learn... and write down notes. This is how you make an entrance! ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ 10/10 Favorite moment - The Queen Bee. This is how I plan to arrive next time I visit my husband's family. dddd.mp4
  11. I can't wait. 😍 And at the same time I try to go slowly, since the episodes are limited in quantity. It would be such a dream if more complete years were available... As in before 1986 and after 1992. Maybe some day ❤️
  12. My forgiveness has a limit.
  13. Yeeeeeeeeeeees! 69 days only left!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Clifton Davis looks so dashing in the promo... I have to tell myself that this man is 79 and not 49. He looks like a snack! ❤️
  15. DAYS TO CHRISTMAS 8
  16. That first month topic... will be in the Louvre... printed as a book. I am prepping myself mentally starting now. Drinking lots of fluids... 🤣
  17. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees! That's me on February 24th!
