It is really only the beginning. I remember now... even Bill Bell's Bold's first 2 months... had so many dull moments. I would not say bad... but dull... it was still written very well, the dialogue was sublime... but compared to what CAME after that... it's incomparable. I would not even say that Bold started before Brooke stepped inside the Forrester mansion as a caterer... smiled at Stephanie with that conniving fire in her eyes... and said - "You have a beautiful home, Mrs. Forrester!"... in episode 60. 🐍 And in BTG we are only up to episode... what was it... 25?

All I know is... I'm focused on the show and how I perceive it... and not other people's reactions to it. Even if everyone loves something, that doesn't mean I'll automatically start agreeing just to be part of the group... or the opposite. If everyone hates it... that doesn't mean I have to be hating it too. It just happens that I agree and share some of the more critical views this week. I've said more than enough positive comments the first month... so I think couple of critical opinions are nothing in comparison to the praise. I will continue to forgive and forget for now... because the show is still in the beginning phase, so all of the problems may be just growing pains... I'm quite sure they are, actually. MVJ has already shown us she can do good drama. Now we'll see how they maintain and evolve with time. I'm optimistic. Even too optimistic.

Absolutely. I am all for Brooke being sexy and desirable, but not in this kind of way. She should be the pursued one... not the opposite. Not running around in lingerie in the office for a millionth time... hoping to surprise Ridge with a late afternoon blow-job. This is as old as time. What happened to... slapping him and telling him to be happy with his second choice? What happened to that girl that we saw for like... 5 minutes. I'm so embarrassed watching this. Imagine being in your mid 60s and still having to get into panties and lingerie to... seduce a man you've already had for 40 years.

I loved when Hope was the Anti Brooke. It worked on so many levels. Brad should have never ruined that.

Mm-hmm. I agree with you 💯.That's exactly my impression of today. And the entire week. Hope this is just growing pains and the rhythm is back next week. I am craving more Leslie... More Anita, please. Nicole... She elevates every scene. Less Bradley Bell dialogue and retelling of things. Less amateur actors and the Saint Ashley show. And... it's perfection. ❤️

Not a good episode. All kinds of caricatures running around. Vanessa needs a brain transplant asap. She is NOT INTERESTING anymore. ONE-NOTE. To a point of cartoon. And as I said yesterday and the day before - this frequent retelling of what happened all the time... is really irritating. That's Bradley Bell sh-t right there. So I'm gonna say it - after a great start... the show is struggling to maintain the dynamics of the first few weeks. I hope to God they get a good step going next week. As much as I want to constantly give them slack (because it's only month 2)... I'm also saying to myself - it's too early to feel so tired of these characters. Bradley Bell-ish writerisms all around. Again... nothing that can't be fixed. But work needs to be done, recasts need to be made. I didn't want to be a negative opinion... but I also can't lie. Another week, another chance. We'll see how it goes.

I can't agree more. All of these plot ideas flopped... I also think some of the dialogue for Ashley and Derek has been very commercial for baby diaper level of bland. I don't want to start fast forwarding half the episodes in the future.

I'm seriously considering deleting my Facebook account. After the recent changes in their policy regulations, now they openly allow all kinds of discrimination and harassment based on sexual orientation, gender and etc... I just don't feel okay being in that platform. Not that I ever felt safe there... but recently... even basic pop music posts are full of homophobic comments. You can't even like a photo of Lady Gaga without seeing them. You can't escape them. They are everywhere. I'm so sad that in 2025 people can get away with writing comments like this. I open some of these profiles that call men like me and my husband... all kinds of names... and I see - mothers... teachers... people who you meet at the supermarket at the counter... all kinds of normal looking people who are unleashing their homophobia and hatred with all the freedom you can imagine. It gets to a point I ask myself why am I part of a platform that doesn't delete all these comments. Any time I report any disgusting homophobic comment I get a response that they haven't violated any rules. Every single time. Well... OK... Then this is just... Goodbye for me. I'll download the history and the pictures... just for the sake of preserving my memories and that's it.

I agree that Brooke should be written differently - I've been saying this for years now. Every single week. You just don't turn that type of leading character into a prop. A character that drove some, if not the most successful storylines in the show's history. Why Bradley did that is something I DARE any interviewer to ASK him. I dare them. But I doubt it will happen. We'll only hear praise or safe-questions, like usual. Because that's the times we are living in, sadly. BUT. And it's a big BUT - I am not gonna blame KKL for not "fighting" to change storyline. Not at this stage of the game. We have no idea what is happening behind the scenes. For all we know, she may be doing just that every single day. KKL is not obliged to give us a report on her professional agenda and work-relationship with her boss. I'm sure she's done a lot of things that have benefited the show behind the scenes and never bragged about it. I also won't take her words out of context about the triangle. She was politically correct in saying that there must be a reason why it's going on for so long (and she's right - the triangle had surprisingly long life... till Ronn Moss left - that's when it died)... but she also added a cheeky "NOT THIS AGAIN?!". Which is pretty telling to anyone who knows how to read these things. That's the max... a girl like KKL will go in making a "dig". You can't even call it a "dig". She's just not the type of girl you can expect to make these comments. PERIOD. Remember what happened to Krista Allen who dared to criticize storyline and make ironic comments about it in interviews? I know you all do. I'm not saying that this was the cause of her firing... but... I'm sure it DIDN'T HELP her staying. Also... what to fight for or not fight for is her prerogative. KKL is very easy to work with, respectful to writers actress. I remember Patrick Mulcahey years ago... defending her on social media against crazed fans who were spreading rumors that she is a diva or changing storylines - he denied this and painted her in a completely contrasting colors. She is not THAT GIRL. And I don't want or expect her to be. What can we complain about her for? Why should we? She's given us 4 decades of her life doing consistently powerful work and carried the show together with Susan Flannery. She's also a huge part of why the show has been successful overseas and her longevity there is impressive. She's been the face of multiple brands in Italia. Continues to be. That's a-m-a-z-i-n-g and probably times and times more satisfying that having to kiss Ridge for the 191828929 time or cry about Hope. So... I am only thankful for all the great years... and also grateful that she is still here. I can't even imagine how hard it is for her to read some of these idiotic lines she's been given. Also... maybe at this point of the game... she's focusing on other projects. I'm noticing she spends insane amount of time in Europe and Italy. And I am so happy for her. Bold is not a good look these days... She's been there, done that and... DONE it in the glory days. Some people have only been here in the horrifying trashy era of the show. That's not a dig at them, it's just their bad luck probably... to only be able to work for Bradley Bell and not his father.
