I would cut off Vanessa if they don't plan to do anything more complicated than the current one trick pony that she is. She's a very boring stereotype of a ... that needs more nuance. They need to dive more into the conflict with her son.

I would cut Tomas and then I would revamp Ashley. Jen Jacob is pretty mid level actress, but she doesn't bother me, as much as the writing for her character is very annoying and repetitive. IF and that's the worst case scenario type of thing THEY NEED to keep Tomas, because who knows why (in the business there are million reasons why an actor can't be fired lol)... AT LEAST tone down the AMOUNT of dialogue. Make him undress more and flex his muscles and keep that mouth shut.

I would do anything possible to keep Marquita Goings as long as possible. She is an amazing presence and the character is viral on the internet. The week after the twist revealing her true nature... was if I'm not mistaken the most watched since April or something like that. There are plenty of ways to keep her and to write her in a way that can open new possibilities. I mean... people have killed or poisoned others on soaps and stayed for decades. I would tone her down at some point after the culmination of the poisoning. The show needs to tone down the villains, because they do appear cartoonish. Not that I don't like them... but they are not THAT deep, and it's pretty evident.

@soapfave06 Tina's past lives scenes were cringe. I didn't like them what so ever, but thankfully they moved on from that too. These first months have messy moments... Also... not sure where you are watching the episodes from... if you are on youtube, know that some of the episodes are in wrong order as I recall... So some of the missing sequence may be in the future episodes, just dated wrong. I had that issue for a day or two, but then managed to figure out which episode comes after which and I filled in the missing pieces. The domestic abuse storyline gets more interesting as time goes by, when Viki and Megan are finally involved. Then we have a pure GIRL power moment will all the women of Llanview coming together against the bad guy. I won't spoil, since I don't know how much you have seen. Oh and yes, the Jake and tormentor scenes were another cringe, that I didn't like. I was at that time confused as to what this show is... I was hating certain aspects of it... but thankfully all this cleaned up with time and it got better and better.

I think in a similar manner... Andrew became a safe place for Cassie after she got dumped by Bo. He's that male figure that women are drawn to after/during trauma. The guy in the intro that comes to save you after you trash your life with someone that has a nice smile or a nice butt. P.S. I still believe the reverend had more chemistry with some of the guys on the show (Hey, Dr. Jonas... with that cute earring), but of course they didn't go there. Just imagine if Andrew and the psychiatrist were involved. I can picture the cover of the Intruder "Scandal! The man of God and the therapist!" with a tabloid photo of them making out. But let's not get carried away. 😁 Now... about him and Cassie... At first that relationship felt a little forced to me, but then it grew and grew to a point I started believing it. They added even more nuance with making Cassie's mother have a crush on Andrew's father. Only on soaps! And now with the dark cloud of bad Marty hanging over them, I think the potential is there. They've been testing Cassie and Marty for a feud and I'm here for it.

That's how I perceive them - Kevin - late teens... Jason and Leanne - early 20s, Joey - 13-14. Stephanie - late teens too.

I loved how contrasting the relationships between Andrew and Megan and Cain and Megan were. Cain was opportunistic, parasitic even, and yet she felt that attraction... Like a moth to a flame. While Andrew was like her safe place, a warm looking little cabin in the dark of the woods. The two men were absolute opposites and I loved seeing Andrew fall in love with her slowly while she was using Cain to self destruct in a way, after her condition deteriorated. If the actress was not going away this could have been so interesting. To this day I love how Andrew still hasn't forgotten Megan. Her photograph still in his drawer.

Ooooooo....now I can totally picture this. Even though... Tonja's Alex gives similar energy when she hasn't taken her mood stabilizers. 😁

Now it's been couple of days in... and the biggest and most important change so far turned out to be how FAST the forum is. I was accustomed to waiting for 10-15 seconds at times before a page opens. Getting constant errors. NOW IT'S just like a whole different experience. It's amazing. I wonder why the previous version of Invision Community did that. But I like that they fixed it.

That's so kind of you to say. And I enjoyed your take today so much. Made me remember things I forgot from more than a half a year ago when I was at that stage. And I agree about what you said about Carlo just being there. Sadly... it doesn't get better. Only worse actually. (when it comes to Carlo) I think I may have to go back to his original intro storyline from 1990 to appreciate him. I heard it was not bad. I think I'm couple of episodes before Todd Manning's arrival... and I'm scared actually. I've heard so much about this character that at this point I don't know what to think.

I loved today's episode. I don't know what's gotten into me lately, but I just vibe with the show. It's the Holidays coming and I'm in a good forgiving mood. CHILE, BILL IS SO HOT IN COSTUME. WOOF. BTW... I think coming from a cheating pig like him... everything he said to the robot... was in character. As delusional as it sounded. LOL. Kat continues to SHINE. "I'M CHOOSING MYSELF." YEEEEEEEES GIRL! It's not easy having an obsessed wannabe like Eva following your every step and wanting your every scrap. And now he has the gall to ask her to spent Thanksgiving with the psycho?! HELL NO. And last but not least... Anita was serving BEAUTY in silver. P.S. I love how the show is doing a slow... taking a pause moment. I feel like the characters are breathing... and it's more watchable than ever.

It's interesting how when BTG is doing well/being stable/climbing... some people just don't say a word, they are nowhere to be seen in these topics... but the second the ratings get even a tiny little bit down... it's like GAME ON. LOL. Good for BTG! I'm so happy it's climbing again even if it's little by little.
