where? On Beyond the Gates? Real writing? What? It's certainly *more* boring, which is definitely a feat. I don't know how they did it, but they *actually* made a show that's more boring than Y&R, B&B, and GH. lol

now that Maxie is skinny again I expect they are gonna be writing heavily for her once more. And I'm still wondering if Nelle is coming back. GH should try to snatch Linsey Godfrey from DAYS as a recast. She is such a talented, charismatic young actress.

bringing characters back and reuniting couples, just to kill them off is such psychotic writing. I have no idea what Y&R is trying to do except show viewers that they shouldn't care about these characters or their relationships anymore.

Y&R casts younger actors in older roles all the time. They did it with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), they did it with Adam, and Tucker (Trevor St. John), etc.

this is actually really good casting. Dude is *so hot* but the way Y&R always acted like he was a rando was so weird to me. Good for him. Bring on ALL the shirtless scenes! He will make a gorgeous couple w/ AnnaLynne McCord.

literally knew he would be playing Cane since it was announced Flynn was joining the show. I never bought all the "new character" stuff. lol

i have been saying for years they should just bite the bullet and recast Monica, and I have been saying get Erica too. Hopefully, that's what this is. ETA: this also makes it very obvious they are gonna do a Willow D.I.D. storyline...

Ridge is the STAR of his show. Lucky should have been treated like a leading man, with loads of story... but he was instead treated like a side character just because the writers didn't know how/care to write for him. I mean Lucky returned... and became a bar tender and Kristina's henchman. lmao! They really fumbled the ball on this one. I don't understand why they didn't have Brenan target him as an operative, the same way he did Jason. And then have Lucky be Josslyn's handler or whatever?

it will be interesting seeing him and Michelle Stafford try to out-chew the scenery with each other. lol

i guess her big break on Station 19 or whatever didn't work out. lmao!

pretty sure it's because both actors see Nick+Sharon as the "end" mark for their characters (they have both expressed in interviews that they see the other as "meant to be" etc. but they don't think it's time for them to get together again, yet), and they don't want it to be the end yet, because they're young and flirty, etc. You know, the usual Y&R show runners/writers letting their fave actors dictate story. lol

today's episode Damian asked Lily if she's ever been in love b4 and she namechecked Cane. So obvious he's back. lol

Cane is no better or worse than anyone on the canvas, curranty. I don't understand why peeps hate him so much, regardless of Goddard playing him. For me personally as long as it's not Goddard (w/ his creepy bts antics) I don't care. He's basically a brand new character to me. lol

not really, she's been treated as a support character with stories happening around her. It's been a long time since a storyline has been *about* her and not her boyfriend or Devon/her family.

lmao, if he is Cane I called it. It's because of Beyond the Gates - all these shows are trying to quickly write "black storylines" and line up black characters and Y&R wants to put Lily right up front and centere, and all they could think about to do so was bring back Cane. A Mess. 🤣

if JFP is indeed back I bet she will 100% resurrect Hilary and get MM back on Y&R permanently, which I think would be great as she's needed. I also think she would get Devon and Abbey off of recurring, and start acting like Abbey is a part of the Newman's, again. And she will probably start to write Adam as interesting and reboot Adam/Sharon. lol

tbh, I felt like I was taking crazy pills because suddenly everyone was his stan and I'm like... wut? lol

Rory was never really allowed a chance to *do* anything on Y&R, so it will be interesting to see what he can bring here. It's too bad they already cast Bryce Durfee as Vaughn because I think he would have possibly made a great Michael, he seems like a really decent actor and has a pretty commanding presence and lots of charisma just for Joss' flavor of the month. Hopefully, They're both a part of the Magic Milo performance... 🤓

new Ted is 100% a better actor and he gives Ted a warmth the other guy didn't have (imo), but this new guy lacks the old Ted's raw, animal magnetism. lol

when Mariah and Tessa first came out, it was made very clear they were both bisexual. Obviously not fully lesbian, so they can still pair them with dudes whenever. I'm pretty sure they're setting up for Tessa+Daniel, eventually. lol

it's probably set up for when Billy Flynn pops up - we will find out Mariah had a drunken 1 night stand w/ him. 😴

this is sad. I bet GH is already eying her as a Nelle recast. lol I'm, pretty sure the show is setting up her return. There have been too may mementos of her in these past few weeks for it to be throwaway.
