A very good interview (part of anyway) with Kamala Harris and Liz Cheney. Two articulate, intelligent women. One can only imagine the kind of answers Donald Trump would have given...

I'm sure that the audience would adapt if the Dingles were written out gradually. Of course that would mean my dream of a brutal massacre would have to be abandoned, but I'm willing to compromise on that..... 😈 After all, the end justifies the means, and if the end result would be a villaged cleansed of Dingles then I'm perfectly willing to listen to suggestions.

That's exactly the feeling I get as well. And it's a shame and a big waste of a character that, although she is a Dingle, could have been something better.

I've read that Tina is only back for a short stint, and that makes it even more puzzling why they even bothered? 🤔 She's been gone for almost 30 years, so why bring her back now if it's only for a brief visit? Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind one bit if it is just a short stay, but it just makes no real sense. Tina hasn't bothered with her family for so long, so why now? And if they were gonna bring her back it would have been more interesting if she had been very un-Dingle. You know, an upstanding, law-abiding, successful member of society. At least it would have been something different.

Soaps play so fast and loose with character ages (SORASing etc) that you can't tie them to real world dates like that.

No. What would make sense (at least to me) is to have someone poison the food served at the funeral and kill off all the remaining Dingles. 😈

That's a relief. ☺️ It's been revealed who the mystery visitor to Zak's funeral is..... 90s legend returns to Emmerdale after 28 years and she has changed a lot My question is why? Like Kim, this character had a "good" first run and a satisfying end. So why ruin it and bring her back.

They weren't! Kim has never liked the Dingles, so for her to break down like that over Zak's death is ridiculous.
