It's awful. It's Thursday and we've only seen them once this week. On Monday we had all kinds of things happening with Marlena hitting Julie with the tray, blaming it on Doug, and wanting him committed to Bayview (which we unfortunately did not get to see on screen). We haven't seen any of them since, but I spent the past three days watching Jake eat muffins and Chanel make pies (I love her but come on). It really kills the momentum to have the possession story featured on Monday, then give us Gabi/Jake and Brady/Chloe/Philip the rest of the week. Xander and Gwen are SO dull, too. I love Paul Telfer so I hate that I'm so bored by this, but this pairing and their story aren't doing it for me at all. Gwen was fun when she first came on - now I'm just bored. I even liked when they first were at the Horton house together, sparring with each other and covering up the Snyder stuff. But now that they're together, it's a snooze. I need Xander to be causing trouble all over town, breaking up someone's marriage, getting into fights and hurling a lamp across the room like he did with EJ. Xander the lovey-dovey boyfriend is lame. And I'm not sure that I was even awake for today's scenes with Justin and Richard Steinmetz. I don't mind Ava and Jake interacting but I don't need to hear about their old mob memories. At least nobody got a flu shot today. Literally I am more excited about EJ's upcoming facial hair than I am about any of the stories right now. 😂 The possession would be good if we didn't go days at a time without seeing it.

Today's episode was just so interesting, wasn't it? This group of characters better not be on again tomorrow. Where the heck is the possession storyline? We keep hearing about Doug getting carted off to Bayview but didn't get to see any of it. I'd rather watch that than anything we saw today or yesterday. Brady/Chloe/Philip is stale, stale, stale. Literally just the same scene over and over again. I don't care about Jake being a hitman unless he goes back to his roots and kills everyone who was on today. Muah! He's still around because Gabi needs a d-ck to ride I guess. The character has potential but right now he's pointless. He's just Gabi's sidekick and his life completely revolves around her. They really need to have him mix it up with other people because his character doesn't really exist outside of being Gabi's current bed buddy. I wouldn't mind seeing him detach himself from Gabi's hip for a minute and interacting more with the DiMeras, or being chem tested with the other women in Salem. I actually liked him with Kate.

I really thought they were going to have Josslyn crushing on Dustin, but they totally dropped that. And I agree that Sam and Dante are pretty "incestuous" but it doesn't bug me. But it is a bit odd that they have siblings in common, lol.

This happened to me a couple months ago. I didn't know the show had been preempted, so when I got home I just pulled up the episode that had aired that day and started watching. Five minutes in I finally realized it wasn't new when I saw Franco. I was SO confused. 😂

Aren't we the ones being bullied? We're constantly being told how the other soap boards think we're so awful and pathetic.

Today's episode looked boring as can be anyway. Yesterday was horrible. I agree with whoever said it was way too much exposition. A whole lot of talking, and mostly about Peter nonsense. I don't care. I also love how Robert pops up after MONTHS and we're just supposed to act like he's been a part of this story all along. I mean I'm super happy that Tristan is back but it made me laugh. Why would they show a rerun with Franco? Are they trying to confuse viewers with all of RH's different characters?

The flu shot thing was just so random. Kayla and Tripp were going on about the hospital's campaign and I thought I had totally missed something because I had no clue what they were talking about. Then Steve comes in and doesn't want his flu shot, but by the next scene Kayla has him convinced. Just really random. I mean, maybe some viewers will see that Steve Johnson thinks flu shots are cool and will go out and get vaccinated? Lol. Summer has to be one of the most pointless characters they've created in recent years. She was a total flop and I can't remember any of her storylines. Literally the only scene of hers that I remember is her and Brady on a beach for some reason. Her death affects nothing and I love how viewers are like, "Oh, Summer died? Sweet. Anyway..." I am glad that Suzanne Rogers is back and doing well. It just feels kind of weird when things are going on at the Kiriakis mansion and she and Victor aren't around. We probably heard about Richard Steinmetz getting a role on DAYS a couple years ago, but if we did, I had totally forgotten about it by now. Also, I just want to ask why Chanel had to go to Eli and Lani's yesterday to use their oven. She owns a bakery?!

I like BB but I'm over Jake. I could start liking him again if he was paired with someone else. I can't stand Gabi. Can't we try him with Chloe or something and get her out of her stale triangle with Philip and Brady? Hell, I could even go for a chem test with Jake and Nicole. The Hernandez siblings just ruin everything they touch. BB would look good with just about anyone I'm sure.

I wonder which character will get their flu shot next. Maybe Duke?! 💉 Between that and the muffins, today was really good drama. 😂

When the episode starts off with Jake and Gabi in bed, I know it's going to be boring. Was that Richard Steinmetz playing the judge? I don't care about this story at all. Maggie is back and wearing a hideous purple outfit. Summer is dead. Okay? Moving on... I liked Ava's outfit today. TB looks fabulous. What is this flu shot stuff??? Is this their way of telling viewers to get the COVID vaccine? This was so random. (Tbh I hope GH does the the same thing and makes Jax be the one to get his shot.) This was a rough episode. No Johnny or Chanel? No Nicole or EJ? No possession? I'm asleep.

He sounds totally different from EJ, lol. Not like I didn't know he was Aussie, but the whole voice is different.

The slicked back hair is a tragedy! It always drove me crazy with Sonny. It looked horrible. Philip could use a new hairstyle too. It's just crazy to hire DF and then do that to his hair. 😩 I don't know any man in real life who slicks back his hair, lol. Maybe I'm not hanging out with the right people. 😅 I was thinking maybe they're trying to make DF look older? There's only like a 12 year age difference between him and Carson Boatman.

Lol yeah, I had that same thought when Johnny first came back. Like STFU EJ, you were a racecar driver when you were Johnny's age. I did at least appreciate that EJ was as confused about Abby playing Marlena as I was. How long until Chad is playing John?

EJ egging Rafe on will never not be funny. The Nicole/Rafe stuff is so eye roll worthy. Do the writers think they're 5? They share custody of a teddy bear and now they're peeking at each other over their menus. Make it stop! I wish that they had more of a reason as to why EJ is *so* mad over Johnny's movie-making dreams. I get that EJ is upset that his son doesn't want to work for the family business, but his reaction seems so over dramatic. I know that now Johnny's movie is just about the possession, but at first when it was going to be the Sami story, I think it would've been interesting to have EJ be opposed to the movie because he was afraid that Johnny would find out the details surrounding his conception (I'm assuming Johnny doesn't know). But instead we just get EJ wagging his finger at Johnny because he doesn't want to wear a business suit. I did enjoy the EJ/Nicole scenes at the end. More of this please and less of Nicole and Rafe acting like middle schoolers. Also, EJ cooking for Nicole sounds hilarious, and I'd rather see those scenes than Ava in Rafe's kitchen making Italian yet again. I hate that weird-looking modern chess set at the DiMera mansion. I really need it to be a new day in Salem because Abby's outfit is hideous. LOL at Johnny/Chad. Between that and the EJ/Will shoutout, they're really teasing us lately. 😛 Chad and Abby have been fun too. I wish we could've seen Doug getting admitted to Bayview. I rather would've seen that than Paulina's pie drama. I'll post them under a spoiler tag so the thirst police don't get upset 😂 I wouldn't want the Datalounge posters to look down on me. Meanwhile, EJ had like six layers of clothes on today... 😅

Today was horrendously boring. Way too much crap revolving around Julliard.

They kind of have to give us EJill now that it's basically been acknowledged on screen that Will had the hots for him 😅

Yeah, it's a good thing the people over at Datalounge don't fawn over hot men, especially hot men like DF who have played gay in the past. That is totally something that does NOT happen on Datalounge. Never! Try harder next time.

LOL, I actually like Nik and Ava (though Nik is a turd) so I'd like to actually see a real kiss one of these years.

I keep forgetting that Sasha and Blando are on the show. BTW, it was stated on screen 7 weeks ago that Sasha was 38 weeks pregnant and she still hasn't had her baby. 😂

I really thought Jason had the "worst father of 2021" award locked down but Nikolas is coming in strong at the last second to steal it from him! I too enjoyed the 30 seconds of alone time that Sprina got 😂 It's been so long! I think it will take Trina all of five minutes to forgive him, lol.
