  12. Watching her storyline again on SOAPnet, I really thought the show started off strong with her. I read the AMC threads on this board from that time and the posters seemed to really like her at first too. Once her ego went through the roof over being the face of Fusion, things went downhill fast. That combined with the endless pity parties she started throwing for herself everyday, not to mention her DISGUSTING relationship with Jonathan, and there was just no going back w/her. Haven't got to see the episodes again yet but one thing I remember crystal clear was being elated when she finally got off my screen! I was sad about Lily going though Loved her.
  13. It's Chrishelle Stause (Amanda) and Leven Rambin (as Ava)! LOL. August 2007. Ava grabbed Amanda into a kiss at The Comeback so that people would take pics and she'd get publicity.
  14. HOT! Just watched this episode & the ones that followed again. Could've been interesting if these two got closer ;-)
  15. I just watched the first two weeks of July 2007 AMC and I seriously thought it was near perfect soap. Also, Kendall from April-July 2007 was exactly the way I loved her most! LOVED her "bionic woman" phase! She was doing it all. A pregnant, HAPPILY married, powerful cosmetics business mogul who was confident and driven. Things just got way to messy when that crash happened! My Fusion love is burning more than ever. What a great company. Loved seeing the women go to work every morning and deal with their everyday dramas! The 4th of July Episode was so good, I just loved the meaning behind it! <<<<< HATERS <<<< ;-) "I'd rather chew glass than work with this bitch." Annie's first traces of crazy became clear when she cornered Greenlee in that Fusion elevator and layed it down!
  16. Jonathan and ellabelle did you see La Lucci on The View? Thought she looked radiant as ever! LOVED her hair! But omg..how rude was Barbara? Bitch INTERRUPTED Susan when she was setting up her clip! She waved her hands and was like "Ok were gonna show you." My blood BOILED a little bit!
  17. I'm still watching the shows where the "New Divorce" is going on and I just think it's so smart and current how they had cameras following Erica and Jack around reality-show style. I loved Pam, Erica's talk show producer. Omg. That makes perfect sense her show got canceled when she went to jail! Late 2007 and into Spring 2008 are a real blur to me because I wasn't able to watch the show very much. Thanks! They should've brought New Beginnings back!
  18. http://michaelfairma...ony/2012/05/16/ Nice Debbi Morgan interview with Michael Fairman. Can you believe her & Darnell did 3 takes of that heartbreaking park scene?! Also, not sure if this has been revealed, but Debbi says Agnes is writing a book about her whole experience at All My Children!
  19. Alicia Minshew's dream role: a MOB WIFE! GET IT GIRL! ;'-) SO PROUD OF HER.
  20. For anyone who still has SOAPnet, in case you wanted to know, I just noticed that on Monday they're starting to air 3 AMC episodes now at 1am, 2am, and 3am. I'm 68 episodes behind (LOL) but I peaked at some recent episodes and it seems they're at around August 07 in the aftermath of the story where Greenlee ran her & Spike off a cliff, resulting in his deafness. Also, Kendall prematurely giving birth to Ian. I'm glad I have all these episodes piled up in my DVR; While it's not the best period of the show ever, I'm still happy watching them for obvious reasons I'm in May 07 and I have to make a few comments. Jonathan Lavery was the most smug, abusive, annoying voiced character in all of PV/soaps and I absolutely hated his relationship with Ava. Sabine Singh was embarrassing to watch as Greenlee in the beginning. I just can't say it enough. Ryan and Annie's wedding was beautiful. I can't believe they got rid of Brent Weber who played Sean Montgomery. The show made a mistake turning Hannah Nichols into a stalkerish, crazy bat. I LOVED the New Beginnings/Reality show stuff with Erica. I still want to know why the show got rid of Erica's talk show. What a mistake!
  21. Watched some of the classic AMC episodes on SOAPnet (I'm 2 months behind, in the beginning of May 2007). I loved New Beginning's so much. Was there a story behind why AMC got rid of Erica's talk show? I really think that was a mistake. I know it's been said before but Susan Lucci makes a GREAT talk show host & I could totally see her hosting a real one
  22. http://michaelfairma...ess/2012/04/12/ Came across this interview with MCE. I posted just the AMC related parts. I miss Annie Novak McDermott Lavery Chandler I miss the whole show. How is working with your dear friend, Billy Miller (Billy)? MELISSA: Terrible! I will tell you the truth later, off the record (Laughs) It’s great. We are buds from way back, of course, from our days on All My Children, and so we have been hanging out even before I came to Y&R. Now being here with Billy I get to see him double! What has been your favorite Billy Miller scene from your time with him on All My Children, and from your time thus far with him on The Young and the Restless? MELISSA: On AMC, I loved when Annie pretended to be shot and “died” and Richie got really scared. On Y&R, I would have to say, when Chelsea and Billy were flirting at the bar. I just love flirting with Billy Miller! It’s so much fun. Also, when Billy and I are being nasty to each other in scenes. I have liked that too! Where are you at with All My Children being gone, and the legacy of the show, and putting it behind you? You were such an integral part of its storytelling in the final years of the soap. Do you still see many of your AMC pals and stay in touch with them? MELISSA: I see Chrishell Stause (Amanda) all the time. She is my “Bestie”. I talk with Cameron Mathison (Ryan), but he is New York a lot withGood Morning America, so he is kind of hard to pin down. I saw Stephanie Gatschet (Madison), Christina Bennett Lind (Bianca), and Jill Larson (Opal) recently at this Yoga-thon. It was so fun to see all those gals. Especially in this business, you see them at auditions, or the gym, and all over. Luckily now, we are all in the same town for the most part. Would you say that Pine Valley’s Annie Novak McDermott Lavery Chandler was one of your favorite roles of your career? MELISSA: All My Children changed my life in an amazing way. I was playing that part from age 24 to Age 28, which are such important years of your life. It was such an important job for me which took me to New York. Then I got to have all these experiences in New York, and the benefits of having a great job at that age. I saw a couple of episodes of All My Children on SOAPnet recently, and I am blonde on it! So, to look back on that, and go, “Wow. That was six years ago,” that is kind of insane. What do you think about the final episode of AMC? Many felt underwhelmed. It was very upsetting to fans that wanted closure, when the writers had to leave things with a cliffhanger on the belief it was moving to the Internet and continuing on via Prospect Park. MELISSA: I did watch it. Of course I did. I loved it because I have loved that show for so long. I loved All My Children when I was growing up. I was kind of bummed that they did not use the ending we all taped, which showed us all in the future. I was kind of sad not to see that, because it tied it all up in a bow. But I understand also, why they didn’t. I am so proud of everyone involved, but it was so hard to end a show, when you think it could be possibly moving to the Internet. It was hard. It was hard for everyone. I think they did a great job. I was sad to see it gone. I am still in shock. I think it’s such an iconic show, and it makes me very sad that it was the final episode last September.
  23. ^ LOVE. How awesome they are still having fan gatherings! And Alicia has been playing no games, I caught her appearance on Showbiz Tonight last night where she gave some commentaries on the latest happenings ;-) Hoping to see her on TV daily/weekly again soon! FLAW FREE, HUSTLING GODDESSS!
