  1. Whoopi has been massively depressing for at least 10-15 years now. The Whoopi Goldberg of my childhood was a true comedienne, one of those people on whom you could always depend to bring the laughs for audiences of all ages. In my university's library, they still had a 90s-era poster of her on the wall from a ad to get people to read more, and whenever I'd pass it, I'd wonder how she went that smiley-faced, frizzy-haired STAR to literally the definition of washed-up has-been. It's sad as hell. Somewhere, at some point, her career and/or life did not turn out the way she hoped it would.

Holy [!@#$%^&*], my school had the same poster. You just took me way back with that one. I miss the whoopi of that era.

  2. Raven wasn't happy? She laughed immediately and said she loved Nicolle and thanked her for keeping her in check, and then clarified she meant back when she was on that's so raven.

It was hilarious shade and Raven wasn't at all upset by it lol

  3. Mariah is greater than JLo. Has she had a hit song that I forgot about or album?? Mariah has had much more success than JLo.they don't compare..

Oh Mariah has definitely had a better career and more success, but I'm saying right now JLo is still relevant and charting with young audiences, while Mariah is not. On the Floor, Dance Again, Booty, Live it Up, etc. have all been very successful. In fact, On the Floor was the biggest song of her career, and it came out in 2012.

  4. When you're still releasing the same type of music you were 25 years ago, wearing the same outfits and acting 26 again then yes, that is desperate. Especially when it hasn't worked since 2009.

One could say JLo does the same but, unlike Mariah, she's still having success.

  5. I remember Touch My Body right away but had to think about the others. You're right, Mariah definitely had a stellar career but she's not a star whose hits have really stayed all that relevant. Many of her number ones are hardly played, even on oldies stations. That's just how it is for some artists. And I'm sure she knows that, which is why she's trying (and failing) so hard to be relevant again.

  6. I personally love raven on the show. She's certainly good for buzz and I love that she stands by her opinions. Even if some of them are a bit wacky I love that she firmly believes what she believes and she's not swayed or influenced for the sake of "popularity". She's been great for the show as, aside from how bad the show is and how everyone hates each other, she is the only thing anyone is really talking about in regards to the show.

  7. Toups I'm surprised your head didn't explode when I said I liked the song/video :)

I agree with Brandon though, she seems like the type of girl who surrounds herself with strong women to help her own insecurities.

I like the Kendrick version way better.

Also, don't kill me Mary, but Style is my least favorite of the 4 singles!
