  1. I'm not a big Derek or MerDer fan and I was spoiled ... but the episode still made me cry. GA does death well.

    - Derek narrating his impending death. The music. I'm going to die because of their lack of experience. So haunting. As if Shonda wasn't causing her audience enough pain, she made us even more terrified of hospitals.

    - Meredith stopping the nurse from disconnecting Derek. I thought she was going to beg him to come back to her. Chasing Cars came on and.... Meredith instead telling him that they'll be okay and it's okay to go. I could not do that. Strong moment.

    *through sobs*

Damn, the irony that exactly one week later I would stand over my mother - as her blood pressure started to drop and as her heart began to stop beating - with my hand placed over her heart and tell her the same words.

I guess I should have knocked on wood after typing that comment.

The whole situation was eerily similar. Being awake for a period but completely trapped in your body, the doctors deciding to do the appropriate medical treatment only when it was too late... The main difference was my mother was in the so-called best hospital in New York.

I just saw this post. Angela I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I will be thinking of you.

  2. I think that's all very stupid. To me, I took the video as Taylor is a move star in Africa filming a movie. It was a very Elizabeth Taylor feel, to me. It wasn't as if she was showing citizens of Africa and making them white. Like gotdamn.

  3. At least that officially invalidates your qualms with Porsha vs. Kenya and proves your bias in regards to that argument.

    :)

Anyway, I'm not about to watch this mess. I'm half tempted to see Sheree's old messy ass. But last season was a chore and now no Nene, plus the possibility that ol' pit bull face Claudia is coming back? Nooooo thank you.

  4. So the lineup next year is:

Whoopi, Raven, Michelle, Candace, Paula, Joy

With Sherri, Molly, Stacey and Anna as "contributors".

I'll say, this is a good group of women. Let's hope they don't !@#$%^&*] it up.

  5. It's so funny thinking about Raven and Candace getting into it on the view a couple weeks ago because I just remembered that Candace actually guest starred on one of my favorite episodes of That's So Raven. She played a pushover substitute teacher and Raven conned her into moving a test nobody studied for so that she could throw a party.

    Cheap do you remember that??

  6. I could only watch about two minutes of that because my IQ was dropping. I understood his points but resulting to calling someone a bitch every two seconds and attacking their looks does not solve the problem.

  7. I don't have a dog in this race because I haven't seen it, but just because something is successful doesn't mean it's actually good. Just saying. ;)

Yeah but the critics were pretty kind to it as far as I saw. I thought it was excellent.
  8. John Stamos skeeves me out and the latest incident doesn't surprise me but I've always kinda had a soft spot for him.

At least Jodie Sweetin got her sh*t together and neither Lori Loughlin nor Andrea Barber (God knows I dislike Kimmy but I haven't heard anything bad about Andrea) seem to have any issues.

I guess remakes are nice if you're feeling nostalgic but they never work. For example - Jurassic World.

I watch Girl Meets World just for the fact that William Russ directed a few of those episodes. Love him :) Lol but seriously the BMW cast didn't have any obvious problems or melodrama unlike all the other sitcoms which helps me appreciate it more.

I have to ask....what part of Jurassic World didn't work? It's already the most successful movie of the year. Hasn't it already made over a billion dollars?

  9. I think it's a mistake not bringing Nicolle back. However, since they've made that decision, I think next years lineup should be:

    Whoopi

    Raven

    Michelle

    Candace Cameron

    Joy

If Joy's not willing to come back full time, give her the Barbara gig and have her come in 2 or 3 days a week and then have someone like Stacey London or Cristella or Molly Simms CONTRACTED to fill in on the days Joy isn't there.

The show needs stability and regular, permanent hosts. This musical chairs [!@#$%^&*] is part of the reason the ratings are in the toilet.
