  2. September 20, 1988 Digest, rating the new couples on each soap.
  3. He was good, yes. Corrie has a way of making many good actors get worse and worse - like what they have done to Kevin and Sally. Kylie is just so cliche, oh, she's a monster, but she had a tough childhood, which we will mention every blue moon to justify her being a monster. She's also played by a forgettable actress.
  4. If any of you have Netflix, they have the Thelma Todd biopic on there. It's called White Hot.
  5. Kat Kelly is leaving. I guess this is why they have Kylie, the cheap imitation Becky, not to mention the wretched Tracy. Good job, Corrie, for totally ruining the character of Becky so that no one will have any positive memory of her. http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/s3/coronation-street/news/a315056/katherine-kelly-to-leave-coronation-street.html
  6. I haven't seen that but I did see that pointless TV movie with Loni Anderson as Thelma Todd. Robin had a supporting role in that. I also saw the House That Cried Murder.
  7. Well I've loved a lot of characters who were considered boring, so I can respect that. To me he always just seemed kind of out of place and an odd fit with Marty. The most entertaining part was when I read about how Nathan Fillion and Tuc Watkins used to make fun of him.
  8. Dylan was so dull.
  9. Craig Augustine replaced Grant Aleksander for 3 days in late 1990 when Grant had a death in the family.
  10. Those clips are very good, and they get a real fervor as they go along. I wish the show had kept Angela around.
  11. January/February 1993 Episodes
  12. It does look like a purse. Glad I could bring back some nice memories. It still makes me feel sad that Elaine Princi was so disregarded by the history books and the show and fandom, etc. I'm glad that through Youtube we can appreciate her work.
  13. Thank you for sharing your story, AddieCate. And thank you for your phenomenal Youtube clips. March/April 1993 Episodes.
  14. May/June 1992 Episodes.
  15. I think they meant his brothers and sisters were all married and he wasn't
  16. I didn't know he was on OLTL. Poor Lilian. I wonder if Erika and Gillian ever knew each other before their soap careers. Was Jack Neal an Ed Hall prototype?
  17. Wasn't there some spec that some of Erica's Woman of the Year speech was based on Susan? I can't remember. The part about the Coke bottle glasses and fat legs or whatever.
  18. Who's Who in Daytime TV #2
  19. Robin has barely aged in the last 20 years. She had somewhat unique features that age you in youth but then make you younger as you age, if you don't ruin it with plastic surgery. I know this is Susan overload but I thought this had some nice bits here and there.
  20. Downloads that took half the day. That clip reminds us what a wonderful cast OLTL had back then. Aside from GL, I think OLTL truly had the strongest cast on daytime at this period. Strong acting was something you used to be able to take for granted on this show.
  21. That was great (and was also just about the end for Susan Bedsow Horgan at OLTL). VickRobCal used that music in their fantastic clips celebrating Erika's 40th.
  22. May 24, 1983 Digest. http://www.soapoperaworld.com/soap-opera-digest-susan-lucci-donna-mills.html
  23. Another one of these says she was dating Grant Show. I guess she had a fun time in her daytime run.
