Opening Video

    - When Lucky reports to the PCPD the next morning, he tries to act as if nothing is wrong. While he’s doing his paperwork, he keeps getting distracted by thoughts of Sam. It really bothers him that he wasn’t able to save her then, but he’ll do his best to save her now. His thoughts are interrupted when he notices the mayor enter the building and go into Mac’s office.

    - Mac kindly greets the mayor but can tell from the look on his face that this is not a courtesy visit. After being ordered to sit, Mayor Floyd begins to speak.

Floyd: I am quite sure that you are aware of this Commissioner Scorpio, but I’ll say it anyway. Port Charles has a severe problem with crime, and I don’t believe that you’re doing the job up to par.

Mac: With all due respect Mr. Mayor-

Floyd: I don’t think I was finished. You have had the chance to clean up our streets and get rid of the organized crime here, yet you fail at every turn. Two of the biggest crime bosses reside in this town, yet you haven’t been able to make one crime they’ve committed stand in court. Your incompetence is affecting your officers Mr. Scorpio. I barely made it through another election term. The voters have made it perfectly clear that if I don’t do something to make this police force more effective, then I will be out of a job.

    Mac: Mr. Mayor I-

Floyd: I will not lose my job because you can’t do yours Mr. Scorpio. Changes will be made in a few weeks. You’d better hope you have a job come January.

The mayor then leaves Mac’s office.

    - At Lucky’s, Sam has a disturbing dream in which she is being burned alive. Unable to move or scream, the only thing she can do is take it. Two shadowy figures stand over her. One with the gasoline, one with a match while another watches from afar laughing at it all and other tries to save her. Sam awakens, screaming uncontrollably and drenched in sweat. What does this dream mean? And who was trying to save her?

    - Ned, Luke and Skye walks into Edward’s office as he’s complaining to Tracy about the failed acquisition of Basic Black. Tracy says that some British tart found a way to convince her that BB wouldn’t be good business for ELQ Industries. Edward changes the subject and prepares them for big business. Tracy sniped that it may be best of Skye leaves the office. Edward tells Tracy to shut up. He informs them all that he will be making a huge announcement on Friday regarding the future of ELQ and it’s subsidiaries. He orders them all to attend the board meeting on Friday as they will be required to vote on some business. Once he dismisses them, Luke pulls Tracy into one of the supply closets.

Tracy: Now it is the not to pleasure your lower anatomy Luke.

Luke: There’s plenty of time for that my little dark angel. So who was this British bumpkin who tickled your fancy and got you to change your mind?

Tracy: First of all, no one tickles my fancy. His name was EJ I believe.

Luke: What the hell kind of name is EJ?

Tracy: Hell if I know. But I am not happy that we now won’t have the company under our wing. That would have been great momentum for me when I take over. If he thinks he’ll get away with that again, he’d better think again. I’m Tracy Quartermaine damn it!

Luke: Well spanky buns, come Friday, it’s put up or shut up time.

Tracy: Yes, I know that. Are we ready to go through with this?

Luke: Everything has fallen into place. Carly has agreed to give me the two proxies that she controls….in return for a few favors after the takeover is done.

Tracy: Good. It’s a sad day when our entire plan rests on your sorry excuse for a niece.

Luke: Trust me Tracy, this is a go.

Tracy: I’m telling you now, my first plan of business is to get rid of that guttersnipe.

Luke: But there are so many. Which one are we talking about?

Tracy: Skye….She must go first. Will you support me on this?

Luke: I’ll support you in whatever it is that you do.

    Opening Video

    - David Hayward makes his way into Alan's office at GH. Alan greets him in and the two begin to talk about his residence at Pine Valley. He starts to tell Alan about his work and what he has done at the hospital in Pine Valley, but is very vague about everything else, and Alan happens to pick up on it.

Alan: Dr. Hayward, I sense that you are not being totally forthcoming about your time in Pine Valley.

David: Dr. Quartermaine, I don't see how my personal life is any of your concern. I’ve given you a run down of my accomplishments at PVH, I’ve also given you recommendations from my superiors. Anything else beyond my professional ability is off-limits. You are only here to interview me for a position at General Hospital. So, unless there is something else that I should know about....

Alan: That’s understandable. I know that you have excellent credentials. I just don’t want to make a mistake by bringing you on staff. You may have been vague about some other things that have happened, but I am aware of such things. Such as your license being revoked a few years ago. But that’s another issue for another day. If there is any reason why I should have second thoughts on giving you the job, speak up now, or get out of my office immediately.

David sits there with a sly grin on his face before responding to Alan's ultimatum.

David: You have absolutely nothing to worry about. My skills in medicine are far more advanced than you or anyone else on your staff can ever imagine. I can do things for patients most doctors could not even dream of. So, yes...Alan....I am gonna make damn sure that this job will be mine. You can bank on that.

David puts out his hand, and both gentlemen begin to shake hands, leaving David to know full well that they were able to reach an agreement.

    - At Kelly's, Maxie is sitting at the counter when Dillon walks in, She then grins, knowing it is her perfect opportunity to get on his case more about the Lucas situation. She walks over to his table, and gives him a hello, but Dillon looks up and ignores her. Maxie decides to sit down at his table.

    Dillon: (sarcastically) Please, sit down.

Maxie: Look, I know we have been on the outs for a while now...

Dillon: Ok, I am just gonna have you skip the sappy speech and cut right to the point. What is it you want, Maxie?

Maxie: I'm just here to tell you, that I am always here, whenever you want to talk, about your feelings for the one you can't have.

Dillon: (starts to get more frustrated) Do you think I’m stupid Maxie? I wouldn’t trust you if you told me the sky was blue.

    Maxie: Dillon, I’m offended.

Dillon (sarcastically): Maxie, so not my problem. Can't you get it through your head that what you believe I feel for Lucas is just nonsense?

Maxie: My, getting on the defensive. And I didn't even bring upLucas, so you must obviously have him on the mind to blurt his name out and get all hot and bothered.

    Dillon: Shut up, Maxie!

Just then, Lulu walks into Kelly's and overhears the Maxie/Dillon conversation.

Maxie: Why can't you just admit it, Dillon. You know it, and pretty soon everyone will know it, as well as your precious Georgie. (She leans in closer speaking barely above a whisper) You have the hots for Lucas, and I’m gonna prove it.

Lulu runs over and yells at Maxie for being a pain in the ass. Maxie tries to ignore her, but Lulu backs her against the wall. She tells Maxie that Dillon doesn’t have time to listen to her babbling and orders her out. Maxie snarks at Dillon once more before leaving. Lulu tells Dillon not to worry about Maxie, she’s just bitter and lonely.

    - At ELQ, Carly runs into Luke. She mentions that she saw Lulu earlier and she was worried abou the repercussions from Luke & Tracy’s actions. Luke tells his Carly that Lulu doesn't need to worry her pretty little head about anything. But, Carly jumped the topics around to the deal that she and Luke made, and decides to make sure he comes through.

Carly: Just so that we are on the up and up, Luke, I want to make sure that you’re going to give me what I asked for. We had a deal, and I expect you to keep your word.

Luke: I’m a Spencer. My word is my bond.

    Carly: Exactly.

Luke: I told you Caroline, if you came through for me that you’d get what you wanted. And I always keep my promises. I told Tracy what you were trying to do, and she took care of everything.

    Carly: You're kidding.

Luke: 'Fraid not, niece of mine. ELQ purchased the company, and now I’m signing over the shares over to you. As of right now…(signs the documents he needed to sign)....you are officially the owner.

Carly goes to grab the contract from Luke. But, when she does, Luke grabs her hand before she can walk away from him. He tells Carly not to screw up this opportunity, especially since if it wasn’t for him and Tracy it would have never happened. Carly gives him her word that this company will do nothing but succeed, and he can bank on that. Luke then smiles and takes a swig of his beer.

    - At General Hospital, Bobbie is working at her station when Noah walks by. He gives her some flowers, and she starts to smile at his great gesture. He begins to tell her how wonderful she looks today, and then tells Noah that he didn't have to do that to her, after what had happened at her place before Thanksgiving. Noah replied that it was forgotten and she need not to worry about it anymore. She acted how one would normally act in her position, and then asked if it was all right with her, if they could go out on another date. Bobbie was thrilled to have Noah ask, and she graciously accepted. The two share a kiss before Noah walks off.

    - Lucky and Sam are talking when someone knocks on the door. Lucky signals for Sam to be quiet.

Voice (yelling from outside the door): Lucky open up. It’s Jason.

Sam (whispering to Lucky): Jason? That name sounds familiar.

Lucky: Go away Jason. I have nothing to say to you.

Jason: Come on Lucky, Let me in! What are you doing in there?

Lucky: none of your damn business.

Jason: Listen…I just wanted to apologize for the way things went down at the Quartermaine’s on Thanksgiving.

Lucky: Yeah. Water under the bridge. I really want you to go now.

When Jason walks away, Sam has another flashback. This time, it’s one of her and Jason dancing in the rain on the rooftop of the Penthouse. When it’s over, Sam stumbles and Lucky catches her. She says that she knows that voice. Lucky tells her to give it some more time before she begins trying to push her memory.

Actress Swap! New Addition To Cast!
    by Leph Turn

Look for actress Ashley Jones (Bridget, B& to join the cast of GH as "Sarah Webber". A few months ago we broke news that Erin Hershey Presley was to play the role, but due to the actress' pregnancy, the show decided to recast the role with her permission. Originally the writers planned to write her pregnancy into the show once they learned the news, but she didn't want them to make special concessions for her. It is expected that she will join the show in a yet unnamed role next year after her child is born. There are no hard feelings between Erin & GH and the storyline with Sarah Webber will continue on as scheduled.

Joining the returning Sarah Webber will be her and Liz's brother "Steven Lars Webber". Steven will be played by actor Nolan North, best known for his role on Port Charles as Dr. Chris Ramsey. The role of Steven was last played by Shaun Benson in 2005. We called the show for comment and was surprised when they agreed to do so. "Steven is returning to the show to be with his family. His sisters will be going through a rough time come 2007 and will need to be there to help them. The show is also in need of male characters. There have been many female additions to the cast. There is much story to be told with the Steven character."

Look for Nolan & Ashley to begin airing in two weeks.

We have received word that contract negotiations between Ingo Rademacher and GH have been going very well. It is expected the actor will be bumped back up to contract status in mid 2007. Rumor has it that "Jax" could be paired with Ashley Jones' character "Sarah" or Eileen Davidson's character "Victoria".

    Opening Video

    - Nikolas arrives at Carly’s house promptly at 9PM. Lulu answers the door. The two of them begin talking about Christmas plans. When Carly finally makes her way downstairs, Nikolas’ breath is taken away. Standing at the bottom of the stairs is Carly, in a lowcut black dress that slants as it gets closer to her knees. He notices the beautiful platinum locket around her neck. She smiles at him as she moves her hair to her left shoulder. Lulu comments on how gorgeous Carly is, having to elbow Nikolas to get him to speak. Nikolas walks over to her and kisses her hand. As the two of them leave, Carly turns around and whispers “Thank you” to Lulu.

    - While working on some paperwork, Ric is interrupted by a phone call. Though the conversation is one sided, the expression on Ric’s face is what tells it all. Angry that he’s being disturbed, Ric yells at the person the other end. He finally calls the man “dad” and doesn’t want to have anything to do with him. Finally we can hear his father speak.

“If you think that turning your back on me is going to make you a better person then you’re wrong. You’ll always be second best to your brother. Look at you, Alexis is only with you now because she can’t have Sonny. Your not my son. No, you’re not. You can’t make me proud. Maybe I should find someone who can.”

Ric gets angry and throws his notepad down. “You know what Trevor, you should spend more time worrying about the other members of our family. You know, your brother and sister. I’ve been making trips to NJ so I can help them out. Where are you?” he asks his father. “Oh that’s right, you’re too good to spend time with your family. You haven’t even visited your granddaughter yet. She’s two dad. Two. You know what, I don’t have time for this. Merry Christmas Dad.”

    - In Nikolas’ car, Carly is surprised when Nikolas doesn’t head towards the restaurant they intended on dining at. Instead, he takes her to the soon to be hotspot in town, Club Evolution. Nikolas tells Carly to be live it up because the press are there. As they step out of the car, the press runs to them.

Reporter: Nice to see you again Mr. Cassadine. How are you feeling today?

    Nikolas: I’m doing well.

Reporter: And who are you with tonight?

Nikolas: This beautiful, intelligent woman is the lovely Carly Corinthos.

Reporter: Corinthos? Ah yes, the wife of Sonny Corinthos and owner of Deception Enterprises.

Carly: Ex-wife. But yes, I am the owner of Deception.

Nikolas: We hear that this is the place to be, so why not have two of Port Charles’ most intriguing people attend it right?

    Carly: See you all inside!

-Inside the club, Liz is thrilled to be enjoying an night away from all of her troubles. Jason on the other hand is a little uncomfortable being around all of these people, but makes the best of the situation for Liz’s sake. They both seem to enjoy their night until Liz sees Carly enter the club with Nikolas.

    - Monica Quartermaine walked the halls of General Hospital, praying that she would run into Kevin. Her sleep was very restless; how could it not have been, after receiving an ominous note and a puzzle piece with her on it.

She continued to walk past the admittance desk when she bumped into Alan. The last person she wanted to see today was him; last night at home, he made it a point in snubbing her at dinner. How long would the silent treatment last, she wondered? Did she really even care?

"Hello, Monica," Alan said, coolly. "I'm really surprised to see you here at the hospital tonight."

"I had some patient files to work on, I'm not staying long, so don't worry about bumping into me again," she replied. "Have you seen Kevin anywhere?"

Giving her a questionable look, Alan folded his hands. "Why would you ask me about Kevin? Is there some reason why you want to know if he's here?"

Trying to keep herself in check or give herself away, Monica spoke in a firm tone. "I was curious if he was here, is all. I had a few of his charts by mistake, and I wanted to give them to him," she lied. "Forget that I asked,"

"It's funny how you can talk to everyone else in this hospital, but you can’t even treat me with one shred of respect, whether it is here or at home. But to answer your question, no, Monica, I have not seen Kevin today. He's got the day off."

Keeping her eyes from looking at Alan any further, Monica brushed past him, muttering, "You could have said that to begin with, instead of grilling me, Alan." As she walked away, her mind went back to the puzzle piece she received. Could Alan have sent it to her? Monica quickly dismissed it; thinking that it was not his style to play cat and mouse games with her.

Going to the elevator, Monica was approached by Georgie. "I wanted to catch you before you got on the elevator," she said, handing a small package to Monica. "It was left at the admittance desk for you."

Monica suddenly felt a little lump in her throat, as she looked at the package. "Georgie, do you know who gave this to you? Did you see anyone around the admittance desk when this package arrived?"

Shrugging, Georgie shook her head. "I not too long ago got there. Sorry," Georgie replied, walking away.

The elevator doors opened, and Monica quickly walked in, letting the doors quickly close behind her. Once alone, she quickly opened the package, curious as to what was sent to her this time.

Inside was another puzzle piece, this time it showed the face of Kevin. Monica's heart begins start to race, scared as to what this was all about. She removed the note that was written in the same bold handwriting as before; however, this time the words she read sent chills down her spine.

I was right, Monica, you definitely are a 'piece" of work.....Does Kevin think so too?

Once the elevator doors opened up, Monica quickly walked to her car that was parked in the parking structure. Getting in, she opened her glove compartment, and took out the first envelope that contained the first puzzle piece. Taking it in her hand, she put them together. It was a perfect fit and revealed what Monica feared: the two pieces revealed Monica and Kevin kissing.

Grabbing her cell phone from her purse, she quickly dialed Kevin's number. "Please be home. Please," she begged as the phone continued to ring. She winced immediately as the answering machine clicked on. Having no other choice, Monica blurted out, "Kevin, please call me when you get this message. It's important. I think someone knows."

Back at the residence of Kevin Collins, Kevin is sitting on his couch, very aware that Monica called him; very aware what the call was about. Kevin opens an envelope, and produces two puzzle pieces, very much like the pieces Monica received.

    Opening Video

    - Dillon comes into Kelly's and notices Lucas sitting at a table by himself. It takes everything he can muster not to let his feelings show on his face. After his heated argument with Maxie, he wanted to make sure that he can keep the feelings he's harboring in check. Carefully approaching the table, he sits down across from Lucas.

"Hey, how's it going Lucas? I haven't seen you in a couple of days. Is everything alright?"

Looking up at Dillon, Lucas smiles weakly, unsure of how to explain his conversation with Bobbie. "Yeah, I've had a lot of things going on, how have you been?"

"Okay, nothing really to brag about. Still dealing with my family, but what else is new, right?” he said, feeling nervous every time he looked into Lucas' eyes. Why am I feeling this way, he asked himself. Why was it so hard for me to just sit across from someone and simply talk to them?

Taking a sip of his soda, Lucas leaned in closer to Dillon, making sure what he discussed was not overheard. "Can I tell you something? Maybe if I said what I was feeling out in the open, it would help me understand what took place."

Dillon felt his temperature rise at the idea of Lucas opening confiding in him.

    - Liz is locking the door to her apartment when she feels someone behind her. She turns around expecting the worse but it’s Jason.

    “Jeeze Jason. You scared me.”

“Sorry. You on your way to work?”

“Yeah. I asked Bobbie if I could pick up a few extra shifts. Cameron wants this new toy but I can’t get it for him if I don’t pick up this extra work.” Jason begins talking to her, but Elizabeth tunes him out. She stares at his body, dreaming about taking off his clothes right here and now. She snaps back to reality and asks why he came to see her.

“Well…..I was hoping you’d have time to hang out with an old friend this week.” Jason admires her body. Even in her scrubs she looks beautiful.

“What did you have in mind Jason?”

“You remember Luke’s old club right?” says Jason as he walks Elizabeth to her car.

“Yeah, last time I checked Claude was running it.”

“Luke sold the club last year to some private investors and they renovated the place. It’s called Evolution now. They’re opening this week and Brian McKnight will be performing.”

After throwing her purse in the car, she does a double take. “Oh my god, did you say Brian McKnight? I love him! I’d love to go.”

“Really?” says Jason happily. “Great. I’ll pick you up around 9. It’s a date.”

Jason gives Elizabeth a hug then walks to his car.

“Yeah, it’s a date,” sighs Liz thinking of Lucky. She realizes that she can’t wait for Lucky to forgive her forever. Besides, she and Jason are friends. There’s nothing wrong with hanging out with your friends.”

    - Back at Bobbie's house, Bobbie is gathering up her coat to leave to head out to do some errands. Just as she's about to walk to the door, her doorbell rings. Opening the door, she is face-to-face with Noah.

"What are you doing here?” she asks, stepping aside to let him come in. "I thought you had a shift at the hospital today."

Removing his coat, Noah, made his way to the couch. "Actually, I ended my shift early. I figured I would pay you a visit to see how you are doing."

Tossing her coat on the chair, she sat across from him. "Well, I was going to head out for a bit, take care of a few errands, and pick up some things to make one of Lucas' favorite meals."

Noah could see the smile form on Bobbie's lips, and became curious as to what may have transpired between mother and son. "So, are you going to tell me about it, or do I have to play guessing games with you?"

Bobbie replayed the intense conversation between her and Lucas in her mind. She truly felt that she made progress in talking with her son about how he truly felt; how she felt. Looking up at Noah, she told him about the conversation between her and her son.

Once Bobbie had finished talking, Noah sat quietly, processing everything that she shared with him. "Bobbie, I think that it is wonderful that you and Lucas sat down and talked out your feelings, really I do...."

"I feel a 'but' coming on. Noah, what are you going to say to me that could possibly ruin my happiness that I am feeling?" Bobbie was not at all ready to hear any negative words from her close friend.

"Bobbie, as I said, I think it's wonderful that the two of you talked, but I want you to be careful. This was one serious conversation; this conversation does not solve all your problems that you still may be harboring about Lucas' sexuality. You need to truly ask yourself if you can truly come to accept your son for who he is or if you are truly trying to pacify what fears you may still have."

Bobbie sat in silence, wondering if everything she said was from the heart, or if she would wind up doing something to push Lucas away once again.

    - Carly storms into Wyndemere in a bad mood. Nikolas is so caught up in his own drama that he didn’t even notice her come in. Carly gets Nik’s attention after a couple of minutes. He apologizes for not noticing her. Carly begins telling Nikolas about her conversation with Sonny, but again, Nikolas is thinking about what happened at Lucky’s. In a surprising move, Carly drops what is bothering her and genuinely asks what has Nikolas so disturbed. Though he’s tempted to tell her, he does not. Carly has a big mouth and knowing her, she’d run tell Jason. Nikolas instead asks if Carly would like to go to dinner to celebrate her latest success. She accepts his invitation and gives him a hug.

    - Back at Kelly's, Dillon sat listening in awe over what Lucas was sharing with him. To be honest, he couldn't help but be secretly thrilled that Lucas was talking to him about what happened between him and his mother.

"It surprised me that my mother, my own mother actually listened to how I felt; listened to what I needed to tell her for so long," Lucas said, shaking Dillon from his private thoughts of him.

Clearing his throat, Dillon smiled back at him. "I think that's great man, I mean, it's a step in the right direction, right?"

"I guess so, but Dillon, I worry that everything I shared will be for nothing; that the minute something goes wrong between her and I, she will begin to blame me again for who I am."

Shaking his head, Dillon tried to stop Lucas from dwelling on the bad. "Lucas, just take it one day at a time. Don't expect that one conversation has completely changed everything; you two have a long way to go."

Standing up, Lucas pushed his chair towards the table. Dillon followed suit. "Man, thanks for listening to me. I really needed to talk to someone; to get everything off my chest, you know what I mean?

Dillon nodded in agreement. Without thinking about what he was doing, he embraced Lucas in a hug; a hug to which a newly arrived Maxie became witness to.

    Opening Video

    - Monica arrives home at the Quartermaine mansion, and sits in front of the computer...waiting for any sign for Kevin to sign on. She waits patiently, while also looking around to see if anyone is about to come into the study. Kevin finally signs on and IMs Monica, asking how her day was. They begin talking about the packages she’s been receiving. Kevin tells her not to worry about it. They can easily prove the photos were photo shopped.

    - At Club Evolution, Carly excuses herself to go talk to Jason. Nikolas tries to grab Carly before she does something stupid.

Carly: Wow, Jason…..I’m glad to see you’re out and about. How are you feeling?

Jason: I’m doing good Carly. I see you’re here with Nikolas. I hope you’re having a good time.

Carly: We’re having a great time. Anyways, see you around.

Liz grabs Carly by the shoulder and is angry that she didn’t acknowledge her.

“So you’re just going to act like I’m not here?” she snaps. “Don’t you dismiss me Carly.”

Nikolas grabs Carly but she snatches her arm away. “Now you listen here bitch. I didn’t acknowledge you because I had no intention of speaking to you. I’d much rather ignore you than fight with you. But….since you feel that you must speak to me….” Carly stops talking and gears up her sarcastic tone.

“How are you doing Liz? Are you feeling good? I hope you are. How’s Lucky? Oh yeah, that’s right…you wouldn’t know.”

“Carly that’s enough,” interrupts Jason. “Just let it go.”

“I don’t understand you Elizabeth. You claim that you want Lucky back, yet you’re out here with Jason. Those actions don’t seem like those of a woman who wants her husband back,” says Nikolas. “Maybe you should start acting like Lucky is who you want.”

“Maybe Nikolas, you should mind your own business. Jason and I are friends. I can hang out with my friends anytime I want to. You don’t see me questioning your taste in friends do you.”

Nikolas smiles at his sister-in-law, making sure he doesn’t say anything to hurt her feelings. “Carly is more than just a friend to me. I happen to like her very much. But unlike you Liz, I’m not married. I’m not working on trying to get the love of my life back.” He turns to Jason and apologizes. “I’m sorry we interrupted your evening.”

Carly wave’s bye to Jason as Nikolas takes her to the VIP area of the club.

In another area of the club…..

    - Dillon is sits at the bar, twirling his straw in his drink. He begins to flashback to his fantasy that he had with Lucas. He snaps out of it and is startled when someone puts their hand and on his shoulder. He looks up and notices Lucas and Brandon standing together. Lucas wonders what is wrong with Dillon and apologizes for startling him. Dillon says that it is ok, and he had a lot on his mind. He then tells Lucas he is glad to see him.

Lucas then reveals to Brandon, that he and Bobbie finally had a revelation about their relationship, and they are both on their way to reconciling their differences. Dillon couldn't be happier for Lucas (not letting Brandon know that he found out from Lucas the day before), and gives him a hug. Dillon melts in Lucas’ arms. After feeling too comfortable, Dillon suddenly backs away, and makes his apologies as he storms out of the building. Dillon starts to breathe heavily.

Dillon: (sighs) Oh, man....what the hell is going on with me?

Maxie: (walks up behind him): I think I can answer that.

    - At the lakehouse, Alexis is sitting on her couch looking at a picture of Sam. She begins thinking to herself how she never had the chance to get to know Sam, and wish that things were different where everyone is concerned. Ric walks in and sees Alexis staring at the photo, and walks up to her and hugs/kisses her.

Ric: You have got to relax.

Alexis: How can I do that, Ric? I have not been able to get my mind off of things lately. I lost so much time in the last few months...let alone YEARS...to get to know Sam. Now she's gone. Makes you wonder.

    Ric: Wonder what?

Alexis: What life has in store? You never know when it will be your last, so you should...

Ric: (finishes Alexis' sentence)...live it to the fullest. It's a good thing you thought that, because what would you say if I told you I was able to set your mind at ease?

Alexis: Just how exactly are you going to do that? Reversing time is certainly not an option.

Ric: (laughs) No, but a vacation is definitely in order.

Alexis: (sternly) No, Ric. I have so much work to do at the office. I mean, there are many cases that I have to follow up on, and the time...the deadlines...they are all...

Ric: Alexis... (Grabs her so she can stop feeling incredibly rampant)...You have got to stop this. Listen to me. I know what has happened is going to remain with you, but that doesn't mean you have to spend every waking minute drowning your sorrows in work. You need to get away, which is why I have plane tickets to Greece in my briefcase. We are all set to leave tonight.

Alexis: (uneasy) I don't know....I mean, I cannot get up and leave Kristina....

Ric: Kristina will be with us. I’m sure Sonny wouldn’t mind her spending some time in the place that is a part of her heritage. And don't try to weasel out of this either. This is coming to you. And just maybe you will finally be able to lose that stress that you have been feeling. So...what do you say?

Alexis starts to smile and tells him yes, that she will go to Greece with him. The two embrace in a kiss, and Alexis hugs him, hoping that this may be the vacation that she has been longing for to help ease her mourning.

    - Back at the Quartermaine’s, Monica tells Kevin that he was the only thing on her mind the entire time of her shift. And keeping this secret from Alan is tearing her up inside, however it is such a relief to finally find someone who appreciates her for who she is and shows her love and support.

Kevin replies that he is always there for her whenever she needs it, and Monica wants to set up another date after work. Kevin suggests they meet up on Christmas Eve to spend some time together. Monica agrees and mentions that would make her Christmas Eve a lot happier. that he will get back to her on a day, but to look for it in the coming week ahead. Monica smiles, and sends him an icon of a smiley face, just as Alan enters the room. He starts to ask her what she is doing, but Monica answers him with how it is none of his business what she does and to butt out. She then shuts off the computer and storms out the study to her room.

    - Back at the Club, Lucky walks in after a long day at work with some buddies of his. He spends less than 5 minutes there, before he leaves suddenly. He peeks back in through the window and sees Liz & Jason slow dancing to the song “Anytime” being sung by Brian McKnight on stage. Lucky shakes his head in disgust and leaves the premises.

Also lurking around is Sam!!! She sneaks her way around the back of the club and also witnesses Jason & Liz dancing slowly. She can’t help but stare at the two of them. While doing so, she flashes back to the man choosing that woman over her. For some reason Sam can’t put two and two together, but is angry inside at what she sees.

Elsewhere, Nikolas & Carly stare deeply into each others eyes. Carly thanks Nikolas for such a wonderful time and wishes the night doesn’t have to end. Nikolas invites her to come back to Wyndemere with him to enjoy each other’s company. Carly takes him up on it. They grab their belongings and leave the club.

    Opening Video

    - Elizabeth walks into Cameron's room, and she looks at him playing with his toys. She has a heartfelt smile on her face as she goes and sits down next to him. While playing with Cameron, she begins to reflect on the conversation Audrey and Lucky had. She begins to talk to Cameron as she begions to let out her griefs and frustrations.

Liz: Yes, Cameron, you play with your toys....yes, what is that?

    Cameron: Fire truck

Liz: Fire truck! Oh, you are such a precious, little boy, yes you are. *sighs* I just want you to have the best Christmas this year...and with me and Lucky making things horrible for all around....I just want you to be loved the way that you should be. Don't take anything for granted, and don't settle for less. (Liz's voice start to break up as she begins to start crying while talking to Cameron) No one is perfect, but that doesn't mean for u to try to go for the alternative. You are going to be a mature, honest, young man. You're going to be strong. You will make mistakes along the way, but that is what growing up is about.

Liz suddenly felt the urge to look back, as if she felt a presence in the room who had heard everything she said, and sure enough she was right. She turned around slowly to see Audrey standing by the door. Audrey gives Elizabeth a smile as she walks over them, giving both Liz and Cameron big hugs as Liz begins to cry in Audrey's arms.

    - Monica walks into Kevin’s hotel room and is surprised to see a very romantic setting. In the spirit of Christmas, Kevin has red & green candles lit and requested that silk blue sheets be placed on his bed. He greets Monica with a gift. Inside the box, she finds a pair of gold earrings with diamond jewels. Kevin tells Monica that even though they can’t be together openly, he wants her to feel special. He doesn’t want her to feel like she’s his dirty little secret. Monica hopes that Kevin doesn’t feel that way about her. She says that once everything is set up, she can be with him. Kevin feels bad about having the affair with Monica, but cares about her entirely too much to let Alan have her. Monica shuts Kevin up with a kiss when he keeps bringing up Alan’s name. She says this night is about spending time with the one you love, which means not talking about those you don’t.

    - Meanwhile, Lucas and Brandon return to the apartment so they can share a private Christmas between the two of them. Brandon makes mention of how he feels that it is great that he and Bobbie are on their way of reconciling. He does however wonder Dillon reacted the way he did to the news even though he knew about it already. Lucas just explains that he was just happy for them both.

Brandon is surprised when he opens his gift and there’s nothing inside. He laughs, thinking it’s a joke, but Lucas tells him it’s not.

“The reason why the box is empty is because you already have your gift,” he says looking deeply into Brandon’s eyes. “Why give you a material object when I can give you something so much better.”

Brandon gently touches Lucas’ face and strokes his hair. “I don’t want you to think that I was being materialistic or any—”

“Shhhhhh,” Lucas says as he puts his finger on Brandon’s lips. “This is my time to speak.” Lucas grabs Brandon’s hand and caresses his fingers. “My Christmas gift to you Brandon is my heart. I was furious at you for outing me earlier in the year, but I should have come clean with my family a lot earlier. Over this past year you’ve been my brother, my best friend, my significant other. You’ve been patient with me while I’ve come to terms with my sexuality, you’ve helped me combat my mother and you’ve been considerate about my feelings.”

Brandon smiles while Lucas is talking to him. Lucas asks Brandon to close his eyes while he does something. When Lucas, he asks Brandon to open his eyes. The lights in the penthouse are now dim, the fireplace is lit and soft music plays in the background.

    - The scene then fades over to Liz, where we see who is at the door. She answers the door and is surprised to see her brother & sister, Steven and Sarah Webber. They all embrace in a hug, and Audrey comes up, and is excited herself to see the two. They all go into the living room, and both Sarah and Steven see Cameron, and they started to play with the child. Liz and Audrey couldn't be happier.

    - At the Spencers, Bobbie, Noah, Lulu, Robin, Patrick, Carly, Nikolas, Michael, Morgan, Sonny, Spencer, Courtney & Mike laugh and watch as the children open their gifts. Carly smiles at Nikolas and kisses him under the mistletoe. Robin & Patrick do the same on the other side of the room. The camera fades to a little later, Carly walks over to Robin. She surprises Robin by not fighting with her, instead giving her a Christmas gift. Robin is surprised and happy to find stuffed animal (a robin) with a halo over it’s head.

Robin laughs and goes to hug Carly put Carly puts her hand up, telling Robin not to get ahead of herself. They all laugh at what happened. Sonny & Courtney notice how happy Carly & Nikolas seem with each other and it makes them a little sad. Patrick hands his father a picture of them from when he was a child. Noah then goes into his bag and gives Patrick a present. He opens it and sees an engraved stethoscope. Patrick puts out his hand for a handshake. Noah grabbed and hugged him instead, and the two were able to put aside their differences for the night. Michael goes to hand Bobbie her gift when he realizes she’s not there anymore.

    - The Webbers gather around the Christmas tree and sing Christmas songs. Liz smiles as Cameron tries to ride the tricycle that Lucky got him for Christmas. Steven gives his grandmother Audrey a hug and says he’s glad to be home. Sarah puts her hand on Liz’s shoulder and smiles. The unspoken words between them say a lot.

    - At the Scorpios/Jones, they watch the annual Christmas game and talk amongst themselves. Anna overhears Mac talking to Robert about the situation at work, but says he won’t let it get him down. Anna’s eyebrow is raised while they’re speaking. Georgie is upset that Dillon isn’t there spending the holidays with them. Maxie offers to be her “shoulder” to cry on.

    - At Lucky’s, Sam falls asleep on with her head on Lucky’s shoulder; At Jason’s, Jason flashes back to the year before when he and Sam had a wonderful Christmas together.

    - Some of the hospital staff with no family to celebrate the holidays with hangs out at the MetroCourt. David decides to get some air. He stares at a picture of his daughter Babe and grandson Little Adam and his heart, or the place where his heart should be begins to warm a little. His thoughts are interrupted when a little kid runs into him. The kid apologizes deeply, afraid that he’s going to catch hell. Surprisingly, David hands the kid some money and tells him to have a good Christmas.

    - At the MetroCourt, the camera switches to the first person view, as someone makes their way to Kevin’s hotel suite.

    - At the Quartermaine’s, the dysfunctional bunch all exchange gifts with each other. Edward is surprisingly civil to Lorenzo when he comes to the house with Skye. Ned is able to convince Brooke Lynn to give Tracy a call for Christmas. Though Tracy is happy, she gets pissed when Brooke calls her “grandma” and hands up the phone. Edward laughs at his children. Alan reads the latest e-mail sent to them from Emily, who apologizes for not being there, but says the entire family is in her thoughts. Edward flashes back to Christmas time a few years ago back when his sweet Lila was alive. He takes a deep breathe and wishes her a Merry Christmas. Ned wonders where Dillon is. The montage ends….

    - Back at the Harbor View Towers, Lucas & Brandon finally stop dancing. Lucas walks Brandon over to the sofa.

“Getting my heart was not your only gift,” Lucas says to Brandon. Lucas takes off his shirt and pants.

“What are you doing?” Brandon asks.

“Now that you have my heart…..I’m ready for you to have my body.” Lucas pulls Brandon in for a kiss. The two begin making out on the sofa, but Brandon stops. “Are you sure?” He asks out of breath. “Are you sure you want this.”

Lucas kisses Brandon hard and looks into his eyes. “I have never been surer about anything than I am right now.”

Lucas pulls Brandon into another kiss and the two begin to make love. Apparently Lucas didn’t shut the door well because it was easily opened. Dillon arrives with gifts for his friends. He opens the door and is stunned when he sees Lucas with his legs around Brandon kissing him, obviously the two of them making love. Dillon’s heart stops and he drops his gift. Bobbie shows up as Dillon is rushing into the elevator. She gets to the door and witnesses Brandon kissing Lucas and pulling him onto him. Bobbie takes a deep breath and leaves through the stairwell.

    - At the MetroCourt, Kevin and Monica bask in the afterglow after making love. Kevin tries to get the handcuffs off of him (Yes, they used handcuffs) but is unable do. Monica looks for the keys but can’t find them. Kevin tells her that the kind they used has a safety feature that you have to turn to unlock. Monica can’t figure out which way to turn.

“Monica turn it to the right. No no, you’re other right. My left.”

    “It’s not working.”

    “Try harder!”

“Damn it, it’s stuck. It’s not turning.”

Kevin sighs, then remembers the old saying of how to loosen things up. “Hey Monica, remember the expression for stuff like this. It’s ‘Righty tighty, lefty loosey.”

“Oh ok, let me see if I’ve got it now.”

The door to their hotel room opens, but they are too caught up in their own mess to notice.

“Come on Monica. Righty tighty, lefty….Lucy?”

Monica gives out a high pitched ‘yay’ as the handcuffs finally come off. She looks up at Kevin and notices the shocked look on his face. Monica slowly turns around and sees Lucy Coe standing in their room!!”

    - At the Quartermaines, the doorbell is ringing. Alan calls for Alice to get the door, but tells her never mind. He’s having a conversation with someone in the other room when he gets to the door. He opens it without looking. Still talking to the person in the other room, he tells the person to hold on.

“Merry Christmas Dad,” says a familiar voice. Alan slowly turns his head and is stunned to see the person standing before him.

“Alan? Alan what’s wrong. Why did you stop—” says Skye before she stops her sentence abruptly. “No, it can’t be.”

Edward makes his way out shortly, demanding to know why the door is open. “Oh my god,” he says when he steps into the living room.

By now the rest of the Quartermaines in the house go the hall to see what’s going on.

“Merry Christmas,” the man says. “Glad to see me?”

The camera pans around to the stunned & mixed reactions of the Quartermaine family. Finally the camera pans to the man standing in the door. After moving slowly from his feet to his face, the man on camera is revealed to be AJ Quartermaine (played by Dan Gauthier)!!

On the next GH: Secrets & Lies-

    New Opening Video

Patrick stepped off the elevator of General Hospital, in search for Dr. Robin Scorpio. She said it couldn’t be done; that he couldn’t plan the ultimate romantic get-away. Now that he has everything set up, he was about to prove her wrong. He was going to make it a night she would never forget. They would ring in the New Year in each others arms.

He spotted Robin talking to his father, Noah, and immediately grimaced. He really didn’t want to see him today; the last thing he needed was for his own dad spoiling his quest for romance with Robin. Deciding to just go with the flow, he approached the two of them.
“So, what’s going on?” he asked, looking at his father.

“Not much, Patrick. I was just filling Robin in on a patient that lapsed in a coma. We might have trouble, since she’s pregnant also,” he said, running his hands through his hair. Looking at Patrick and Robin, and the constant glances they kept giving one another, Noah suddenly realized that were in their own little world. Taking heed to their silence, Noah excused himself. “Well I’ll talk to you both later.”

Once Noah was out of sight, Patrick reached for Robin, pulling her close to him. “I thought he’d never leave,” he replied, dipping his head, capturing her lips with his. “When does your shift end?”

Smiling knowingly, Robin leaned into him. “I have one more hour; after that, I’m all yours,” she cooed, kissing him again, this time gently nibbling on his bottom lip.

Before Patrick could comment on Robin’s feistiness, Epiphany came around the corner, and from the glare she was giving them, it was no time to try to sweet talk. “I’m going to finish up some of my patient files, which will give me plenty of time to pass the time while you are finishing up that shift.”

“Oh, so now you want to get back to work,” Epiphany bellowed, glaring at Patrick as he hopped into the elevator that was closing. “Patrick Drake, you are skating on some mighty thin ice.” Turning to face Robin, Epiphany shoved some files at her. “While you’re standing there having x-rated thoughts of Dr. Patrick Drake, maybe you can put your mind to good use and finish these chart you have.”

Robin could do nothing but smile and walk away with the chart, not at all letting Epiphany get under her skin.

Robin’s hour at the hospital seemed like forever, but now that it was over, she was excited as to what Patrick could possibly have in store for her. Sitting on her couch, she tried to busy her mind by watching television until Patrick arrived. Her thoughts were cut short by the telephone ringing.

“Hello,” she answered into the phone. “Hey dad, what’s up? Oh, okay, well, I wish you a wonderful New Year too,” she said, smiling a little at the kind words Robert Scorpio was saying to her. “I love you too, dad. Bye.”

Once she hung up the phone, the doorbell caught her attention. Her face immediately lit up when she saw Patrick on the other side of the door. “I thought you’d never get here,” she said, seizing his lips. “So, tell me, what is this big secret plan you have for me?”

Smiling knowingly, Patrick held her hands in his. “Well, for one, you don’t have to pack heavy; in fact, all you need is a sexy nightie, a sexy little bikini, and a smile.”

Looking at him with a puzzled look, Robin became very interested in what Patrick had planned. “Can you tell me where you’re at least taking me?” she begged, trying to kiss the secret out of him. “Please.”

Not budging, Patrick continued to keep mum about where he was taking her. “Just get the items I mentioned and we’ll be on our way, okay?” he said, slapping her on her rear when she headed up the stairs.

It took Robin only fifteen minutes to gather her things and both were headed to their destination. The ride was a silent one; mainly because Patrick wasn’t asking any of her questions about where they were going. Forty minutes passed as they pulled up to a cute little building.

“Patrick….” Robin whispered, in awe as she read the sign, Romance in Bloom Bed & Breakfast. Stepping out of the car, she took Patrick’s hand and walked inside the beautifully decorated place. “Oh my, god, Patrick, I can’t believe….” Her words were silenced when Patrick kissed her.

“Shhhh,” he instructed, putting a finger to her lips. Approaching the counter, he rang the little bell.

An elegantly dressed lady came from the other room, a smile on her face, as she looked at her latest guests. “Well, hello, welcome to Romance in Bloom Bed & Breakfast, I’m Deidre Davis.” Opening her reservation book, she scanned for her party’s name. “You wouldn’t happen to be Mr. Noah Drake would you?”

Grinning a little, Patrick nodded, “That would be me, yes.” Glancing at Robin, he could tell that tonight was going to be a night neither one of them would soon forget; especially since tonight was New Year’s Eve.

Breaking into his thoughts, Deidre handed him a key. “You fine young people can head up to your room at anytime. Everything you requested Mr. Drake has been done to your liking, however, please let me know if there’s anything else you will need.” She was ready to head back to the back room, but turned to say one final thing to them. “You both have a wonderful New Year.”

Patrick and Robin made their way to their room. Opening the door and turning on the lights, both were floored at how beautiful the room was decorated. Rose pedals on the bed, a large bottle of champagne chilling next to the bed, and on the other side of the room a Jacuzzi.

“I can’t believe this,” Robin gasped, looking around the room, placing her little bag on the bed. “Did your father help you with all of this? I mean, seriously, Patrick, did your dad have a hand in all of this?”

Pulling Robin into him, Patrick looked into her eyes. “Baby, this is all me,” he whispered huskily in her ear. “I told you that I was going to make your New Year one that would never be forgotten.” Letting his tongue trail her lips, he instructed her to put on her bikini and meet him at the Jacuzzi.

Robin felt her heart lurch, knowing that tonight was much more than she was expecting. She worried that she would do something to make the night less romantic, however, when she saw Patrick slip into the Jacuzzi, she knew that her fears were merely that; fears.

Slowly slipping into the water she slid next to him. “Hey,” she said, letting her fingers, trail down his chest. She definitely was feeling something tonight, and all she wanted to do was unleash them without any regrets. Robin wanted Patrick to know just how into him she was.

As if to read her mind, Patrick whispered in her ear, “Do what comes naturally, Robin. Don’t hold back, and I promise you, I’ll make it well worth your while.” Once their eyes locked, he knew right then that she wanted him as bad as he wanted her. On cue, Patrick leaned forward, seizing Robin’s lips, tasting her sweetness. With his other hand, he pulled the top of her suit down, pressing himself into her.

Without hesitation, Robin pulled him closer to her, feeling him grow stiff from his excitement. “Oh Patrick. I need you, now,” she said, hungrily kissing him.

No longer able to deny his desire, he complied, immediately giving into her, feeling every inch of her. “Robin Scorpio, I want you so bad….tell me you want me to too, tell me,” he groaned as he continued to please her.

“I want you, you know I do…” she said, loving every moment of their passion. Whispering in his ear, Robin felt him gently pulling away. Taking his hand, she stepped out of the Jacuzzi, wrapping herself in a towel. She smiled when he followed suit.

Scooping her up, he laid her on the bed, pulling the towel from her, savoring every inch of her body. “Happy New Year, he said, sliding into the silk sheets.
“Happy New Year,” Robin whispered back. Patrick reaches into his drawer and pulls out a box of Trojan Ultra Thin Condoms. Turning the lights off, the two of them relished in a private celebration all their own.

On behalf of the writing team at General Hospital, I’d like to wish all of our readers a Happy New Year!!!

Before the doctors take Brandon upstairs, Alan learns that Brandon went into massive cardiac arrest while in route. Alan pages Monica, who arrives with David at her side. Alan wants Monica to be in the OR in case he goes into cardiac arrest again. After an awkward glance to David, she instead selects him to take her place in the OR. Alan doesn’t have time to fight with her, and asks David to follow him into the OR.

    - Elsewhere in Port Charles, Sonny and Courtney arrive at her apartment building. They spent the day together with little Spencer, Michael and Morgan. It seemed like old times for them, back when Sonny & Carly were together, and Jason & Courtney were together. Max helps Courtney out of the car. Sonny decides to walk Courtney to her apartment, since they haven’t finished their conversation.

Across town, Lorenzo receives a cryptic phone call.

“You had better have good news for me,” Lorenzo says with a serious tone.

    “Yes Mr. Alcazar. I do.”

    “Is it finished” he asks.

    “Yes sir. It’s done.”

“Good. Now get out of there unseen.”

    - Back at the hospital, Carly and Lulu give Lucas & Dillon water to keep them hydrated. Lucas asks Robin for an update on Brandon’s condition. Robin says that they are about to begin surgery on Brandon and that the best thing for them to do is get some rest in the waiting area. Lulu asks Robin to take good care of Brandon. She says that she will.

In the OR, Patrick learns that Brandon has severe cranial swelling and may not be able to operate the way he wants to. Alan thinks the best course of action would be for them to begin the drug treatment to reduce the amount of swelling so Patrick will be able to relieve the pressure on his brain. David will be kept around in case the damage to Brandon’s heart was too severe. The overall procedure will be done by Alan himself.

    - At Courtney’s, Sonny and Courtney get off the elevator smiling and enjoying each other’s company. For the first time in a long while, they feel like brother and sister. Sonny and Courtney arrange for a day next week when they can get together and spend another day with their children. Courtney hugged her brother. Sonny makes his way towards the elevator and presses the button for the ground level floor. Courtney puts her key into the door and waves to Sonny as the elevator doors begin to close.

In slow motion…..Lorenzo picks up a glass of his finest wine and drinks it slowly in front of the fireplace. Courtney opens the door to her apartment, unaware that she tripped a cable. Sonny has a feeling that something is wrong and tries to get out of the elevator and screams Courtney’s name. The building explodes!

Almost at the hospital, Noah drove on and parked the car. Before letting Bobbie out of the car, he tried to rationalize with her the situation. He explained what he could for her and he asked her if she would be okay to see Lucas without confessing to him she was the reason Brandon was hurt.

Bobbie wanted to turn herself in, but Noah convinced her it was best to let things ride out till it was absolutely necessary to come forward. He was protecting her and he hoped she would come to realize this.

At the hospital, the friends closest to Brandon continued to wait for word about their injured friend. A few moments later, though it seemed like a lifetime for Lucas, Patrick emerges from the room with Robin and David to give them an update on Brandon’s condition.

“I was going over the paperwork and noticed that no one identified themselves as Brandon's next of kin. Why is that," Patrick asks looking at the room full of worried people. "There has to be someone we can call right?"

"Ummm, no," Lucas says wiping a tear from his face. "I am the closest thing Brandon has to family. His parents died when he was a kid. The only other family member I could think of was his sister, but she died a few years ago." Lucas walks over to Patrick running his hands through his hair. "Look, I know all about hospital procedure and that you're not able to share this information with me, but I really need to know. I am his family. Please Patrick."

Patrick gives a look to Robin and David, who give him the nod of approval. "Brandon’s stabilized for now. But there isn’t much we can do for him that hasn’t already been done. It’s up to Brandon now.”

"What's wrong with him?" Carly asks. "I know that you're keeping something from us. Don't make things any harder than they already are."

"I'll clear some things up for you," says David. "Brandon went into severe cardiac arrest on his way over to the hospital. During the surgery to repair some of his internal injuries, Brandon again when into cardiac arrest and during the peri-period, it was very touch and go." David gets ready to continue, but Robin cuts him off.

"But we were able to stabilize him due to the combination of drugs that Brandon was on, as well as the immense talent of Dr. Hayward here." Robin then turns things over to Patrick.

Lucas takes a deep breath before hugging his sister. "So everything's alright now right? I mean he's ok?"

"Brandon," Patrick begins to say, "Suffered severe damage to his head during the accident." Patrick watches as Lucas begins to freak out. "Before you get worked up, let me finish. There was severe cranial swelling that was putting pressure on his brain. He had an intracranial hemorrhage that put pressure on his brain, so we relieved the pressure by withdrawing some of the blood so I could go in and repair the damage."

“May I sit with him?” a distraught Lucas asks.

“No, at least not yet. Give us time to look him over and to reconnect the machines. Someone will let you know when you can see him. Perhaps someone would like to take you for something to eat in the cafeteria or something and come back a little later. We’ll know more about his condition and we can allow visitors.”

Suddenly, Patrick was paged and he took his pager out of his coat pocket. He walked over to the phone and called in the page. While on the phone, he looked over in Carly's direction with a concerned look on his face.

“You better come with me, Carly," Patrick says while grabbing her arm. "Sonny and Courtney were just brought into the ER. There's been an explosion.”

Carly is hesitant to leave her brother behind, but Lulu tells her to go. Reluctantly, Carly follows Patrick to go find Sonny & Courtney.

    Endgame- Episode 18
    Monday, April 16, 2007

    - PC begins in the Quartermaine Mansion. Edward is looking forward to AJ's plan regarding Michael. He hopes that his grandson has the right stuff to get it done. AJ's always been a failure in Edward's eyes, hopefully this will change some things.

Edward walks to the table near the steps to look for his newspaper and finds it missing. "Alice where is the damn paper! I need to check my stocks!" Edward looks at his watch waiting for Alice to appear but she doesn't. He walks near the stairs and calls for her again, yet no answer. "Damn it. I don't know why we keep her on staff. All she does is tend to Luke and his needs."

Edward decides to relax in the living room but can't because someone is there. When he gets to the cracked door, he can overhear Monica talking on the phone.

"I didn't want to resign….I had to if I wanted to protect our secret. Don't you think I want to? I want this to be over now. Alan and I aren't happy and we haven't been for a while now….I know I have to do something soon….I do love him but things aren't the same….You're a great friend….I know. I know what I have to do. I'll talk to you later."

Monica hangs up her phone. When she turns around she finds Edward staring at her. "How much of that did you her Edward," she asks cautiously.

"That depends on how much you plan on telling me Monica." He walks over towards her. "What was that all about? What do you have to do?"

Monica tries to avoid looking Edward in the eyes, but feels close to the breaking point. "Edward I…" Monica's voice drops off when the doors to the mansion kick open and "We're home" is yelled at the door. Edward & Monica go back into the downstairs area to find Luke & Tracy back from their vacation.

"We're home!" Luke says warmly. He looks over to Alice's way and opens his arms wide for a hug. "Come here you….did you miss me?"

"Oh of course I did Mr. Luke," the strong maid says. "Here, let me take you and Mrs. Tracy's things upstairs. When I'm done I'll get you some breakfast and a paper."

"Thank you much Alice." Luke turns to Edward and asks him for a hug. "Hug? A Hug? I've been asking for the damn paper since I got up this morning and I get nothing. You walk into the door and everything and instant service you get. Damn you Tracy!"

An exhausted Tracy just rolls her eyes at her father. "Yeah, it's great to see you too daddy. So what have we missed since we've been gone?"

Edward then turns his attention to Monica to make sure she answers his question. "I think we can get an update from Monica."

    - Meanwhile, Skye barges into Lorenzo's office quite upset. "How could you do this to me? To us? You promised me that you were done with the business yet I hear you were responsible for the death of Courtney Matthews."

Lorenzo closes the lid to his laptop computer and glares at Skye. He didn't expect her to assume the worse in him, but maybe he was wrong about her. "First off all, I promised you nothing. When we decided to move to the next level in our relationship, I told you that you were my priority and I mean that." Skye turns to walk out the door, but Lorenzo gets up and grabs her arm. "However, I cannot just ignore business because you need attention. Secondly, I had nothing to do with the bombing of Courtney's apartment. I thought you of all people Skye wouldn't believe the gossip on the street. I did however have Sonny's recent shipments raided to prove a point."

Skye pulls her arm from Lorenzo's grasp. "What am I supposed to think? You lie for a living. I didn't like Courtney but she didn't deserve to die. If you didn't have anything to do with it, why are you being blamed for it?"

"Because the media needs a scapegoat and I'm it. Sonny may be a criminal but he has friends in the media that will do his bidding. By placing the blame on me, he'll be able to garner public sympathy if he does choose to retaliate." Skye appears to be calming down a bit, so Lorenzo takes this time to reassure her he had nothing to do with the bombing. "Things are going to get worse now Skye, and I need to know if you will be by my side."

Lorenzo is surprised when Skye pulls away yet again and grabs her purse. Before exiting, she touches the engagement ring on her finger, then looks back and says to him: "I can't promise you anything. This is much more than I signed up for and I don't know if I want to be a part of this life."

    Major Changes Coming!!
    By Kalen Dar

Last October, Port Charles' (then known as General Hospital) Head Writer/Executive Producer Ryan Chandler promised viewers that the corporate feel would be coming to the show. Over that time, the writing team began creating the foundations for that to happen. Carly became the new owner of Deception Cosmetics and formed her own head corporation called "Deception Inc.". Tracy, with some help from Luke & Carly became the CEO of ELQ and promptly ousted Skye from the company. Even earlier in the year (pre-arcs), Nikolas assumed the reigns of Cassadine Industries and began slow takeovers of other companies. Sonny & Jason began another shift toward legitimate business practices having Corinthos-Morgan Enterprises acquire various exporting companies and construction businesses. What was the reasoning behind these moves?

"Well, I am a huge fan of The Young & the Restless and their boardroom drama had me hooked from day one. When I got the chance to intern at the show, I learned the ins and outs of what makes good corporate drama. By doing this on Port Charles, we can expand storyline opportunities beyond the hospital. This has been in the works since last year, and is a big reason why we received permission to rename "General Hospital" to "Port Charles". This was also done to have more characters that don't usually interact with one another, interact and to bring out umbrella storyline opportunities that don't focus on the mob."

Since the new writing team took over in January 2006, the mob has had little to no impact on storylines. "General Hospital has had mob influences since the 70's, but there is no need to constantly bombard the audience with mob violence." Sonny Corinthos spent the majority of 2006 backburnered with no story whatsoever; it is only recently that a mob story has begun to take place on the show. We asked why we have seen a resurgence of mob activity on the show as of late.

"The reason why you have seen the set up to a big mob storyline is because we felt now was the time. We have a great balance," the HW/EP says, "we feel that we can tell this story without having it dominate airtime and focus on just those within the mob environment. However, this is a separate issue." So when can viewers expect to see the shift to the corporations?

"There will be some scenes next week at ELQ and Deception, and there will be an announcement regarding a partnership between Deception & Titan (Jax's company). Our crew has constructed brand new sets and the actors are ready for this change. Now we are in a writing transition and will be bringing on new writers to help with the show. We look forward to everyone continuing to bear with us as we make this transition. Get ready for sex in the boardrooms, blackmail, corporate takeovers and more!"

Robin awakens to Patrick stroking her hair and smiling at her. They kiss each other good morning and smile as they reminisce of their amazing night together. Robin wants Patrick to know that them sleeping together doesn't change her feelings about his attitude recently. He understands that, and admits he feels the same way about her. He doesn’t want their relationship to be about fighting, having great sex (even though that's a plus) only to turn around and fight again. He thinks they should work on their relationship and work on communicating with each other their feelings. Robin admits she overreacted to the Sarah situation, but if she didn't care about him she wouldn't have become so upset. Patrick realizes they need to trust each other completely and not let third parties try to screw up their relationship. The two promise each other that they will put the focus on their relationship, on building a relationship on trust and honesty, and will not let anyone interfere with their happiness.

Robin was doing rounds when ahead of her she caught sight of Sarah sitting on one of the couches by the Nurse’s Station. Robin sighed, she really didn’t want to deal with Sarah right now. In fact, Sarah was the last person she wanted to see. She was tired of seeing her, tired of hearing about her and tired of thinking about her obvious ploy for Patrick. Robin squared her shoulders and walked purposefully over to Sarah. “If you are looking for Patrick, he has the day off Sarah.”

Sarah looked up at Robin, a bemused expression on her face. “Wow Robin, you assume I am here to see Patrick? You really are the paranoid one. My entire family works here and you know, I could be here to see them or better yet, have a doctor’s appointment?”

Robin stood her ground. She got in Sarah’s face and told her to leave Patrick alone and to stop throwing herself at him because he wasn’t interested. She and Patrick were very happy together and that there was no way Sarah was going to have him so she may as well stop her flirtation with him because it wasn’t going to work.

Sarah stood up, telling Robin she had no time for her paranoia. She attempted to walk past Robin when Robin stops her. “You are never going to get Patrick, so stop it Sarah. He’s out of your league.”

Sarah scoffed, “Oh Robin, I can get him anytime I want. All I have to do is snap my fingers.” With that, she sailed past Robin, leaving Robin fuming.

Elizabeth was picking up takeout at Kelly’s for her grandmother. Since it was a nice day outside, she decided to go outside to make a phone call. She wasn’t paying attention as she fumbled in her purse for her phone and didn’t notice that the door had opened. She walked straight into Blake Barrington’s chest and dropped her purse. “Oh I am sorry. I am such a mess.” Elizabeth bent down to pick up her bag. “Are you ok? It’s Blake right.”

Blake snapped his fingers, “You are that cute nurse from the hospital, right? Eliza or something.” Blake knew what her name was; he made sure to remember it. He just didn’t want her to think he remembered her. Elizabeth corrected him and asked if he had gotten his wallet back. He raised his eyebrow and smoothly replied that he had and thanked her for her concern. She replied that it wasn’t a problem. He offered to buy her lunch just as Mike called her. “Sorry Blake, I have to go.” She said sweetly as she walked towards Mike. She grabbed the takeout bag and left, never looking back at Blake.

“Monica, are you almost ready! We have to leave soon!” Alan called up to her. Monica was upstairs in their bedroom packing for their trip. She felt guilty even going, knowing that she was going to end their marriage in a few short hours. Next to her purse, her cell phone rang. Monica looked around before she answered Kevin’s call.

Downstairs Alan was pacing impatiently. He was so excited to go away with Monica. He wanted to reinvigorate their marriage and going away was just the perfect idea. “Father, do you have that ring?” Edward frowned. He had the sapphire and diamond ring that Alan wanted to give Monica. He suspected that something was up with Monica and he wasn’t sure what it was. He asked Alan if he was sure he wanted to do this. Alan responded that he wanted to give Monica a special gift. This trip would be perfect for them. Again, Alan walked to the stairs and bellowed to Monica.

“Kevin, why are you calling here? You know I am about to leave.” Monica hissed into the phone.

“I had to talk to you Monica. I don’t want you going away with Alan. You should stay here, end your marriage and move in with me.” Kevin demanded.

Monica sighed and sat down next to her suitcase. “You know I can’t do that Kevin. I intend on ending my marriage and I owe it to Alan to do this away from the family. Then I will be with you Kevin. Please understand Kevin, and give me this time.” Kevin finally accepts and asked that she call him as soon as possible.

Monica hung up her phone as Alan walked into the room. “Are you ready?”

Monica smiled wanly and nodded her head. Alan came over to her and took her in his arms. He kissed her lightly on the lips and hugged her tight. “Monica, you won’t regret this trip. This will be like another honeymoon for us.”

Monica and Alan grab the last of their belongings and begin to head to the car. As she's walking, Monica flashes back to her night with Kevin around Christmas:

Kevin reaches inside his desk and picks up photo of him and Monica. He leans back in his chair dreams of a time when he will no longer have to love Monica in secret. Jason floors the gas pedal in his SUV, determined to make it to the hospital as fast as he can. Things haven't always been great between he and his father, but they've made significant strides in their relationship over the last two years. He looks down at his cell phone as it rings. "Not now Carly," he says, sending the call to voicemail. He flashes back to the events leading up to the phone call he received from Liz.

Carly opened up the closet and took down some boxes that she had stored on the top shelf, and she sat them down on the sofa. She wanted to start taking some of her things to Wyndemere but she had to go through some of the stuff before she starting packing.

She opened the one large box and to her surprise, it was filled with memories of her and Jason. As she started to empty the box of items, she noticed the black leather jacket Jason had gotten her for Christmas, and underneath lay the pool stick she had used every time she and Jason shot pool at Jake’s. Her mind filled with memories of the days when they were just two strangers looking for comfort. She quickly put the items back in the box and sealed it back up. Her and Jason would never be, she had to stop thinking that they would. She was with Nikolas now, and having his baby, she couldn’t be reminding herself of what could have been with someone else.

As she went through the other boxes, collecting things she wanted to take with her to her new home, there was a knock on the door. She hurried to answer it, finding Jason on the porch waiting.

“Hi…” he said as she stood holding the door open. “Can I come in?” Jason asked and she left him pass.

“Look, I’m sorry for the other day. I don’t know what came over me.”

“Forget it. I can’t stay mad at you, Carly…regardless of what was said.” Jason replied and then noticed the boxes on the couch. “Going somewhere?”

“Um, just taking some of my things to Wyndemere.” Carly said as she went to hide the box filled with stuff from their past together.

It was too late; Jason saw what was in the box as it popped open revealing the leather jacket. “That was a pretty cold Christmas …,” he said bringing up the Christmas he bought the jacket for her.

“Yeah it was.” She said as she stopped packing the empty box in front of her.

    “Carly, do ever think ….”

“No …” she replied knowing she does.

“Yeah me neither …” he lied. He took the jacket out of the box and held it close to him. “You’re happy with Nikolas?” He asked as she continued packing.

“Yeah Jason, Nikolas makes me very happy. He accepts me for who I am, flaws and all. He makes me want to be a better person, and because of him, I am.” She looked at him holding the jacket in his hands.

“Then that’s all that matters to me, Carly.” He replied and handed her the jacket, she taking it and grabbing his hand pulling him for a hug.

“You are the best friend I ever had, Jason and I don’t ever want to lose you.” She said and her eyes got moist from the warm tears that filled them.

“You won’t. I just want you to be happy.” As the two standing embracing each other, two rowdy children could be heard coming down the stairs.

“Uncle Jason!” Morgan shouted as he flew down the stairs and into Jason’s arms.

“Hey buddy, how are you?” Jason said to the youngster, looking up and seeing Michael standing in front of him.

    “Hey Uncle Jason.”

“Hey … wow you’re both growing like weeds.” Jason said as he noticed the two boys were growing in to two fine young men.

“If you’d stop by more often …” Michael started and Carly shushed him.

“No, that’s okay Carly. He’s right. I need to be there for these two more often. I’ve been busy lately, but I promise to stop by more often.”

“You promise …” Morgan piped up.

“Yes I promise.” Jason replied and gave Morgan a bigger hug. “So I heard you’re going to have a new brother or sister soon. That’s exciting, huh?”

Jason and the boys continued to talk as Carly moved some more boxes to the storage pile.

“Yeah I guess. We’re hoping for a brother.” Michael said as he drew Morgan closer to him.

“Yes these two already have plans on sleeping arrangements and who’s getting their own room.” Carly said as she raised an eyebrow in Michael’s direction.

“I am the oldest.” He smirked.

“Yes you are and you’re going to be a great big brother to the new baby.”Carly replied as she put her arm around Michael.

“Everything okay …” Jason said as he noticed Carly’s eyes got moist with tears.

She quickly wiped the tears away. “Yeah it’s great.” She sniffled back the tears. “Oh this… yeah it’s just hormones.” She laughed.

“Okay, just wanted to be sure.”

“Yeah everything is great. Was there something you stopped by for Jason?” Carly asked as he sat with the boys.

    “I, uh …”

“Stopped by to check up on me?” Carly finished his thought.

“Yeah you could say that. I worry about you Carly. And especially now …. Nikolas and all.”

“You can stop worrying. I’m fine, the boys are fine and finally I’m happy.” She replied as she bit her lip. She's loved many men….AJ, Sonny, Lorenzo, Nikolas, but she has never loved anyone the way she loved…and loves Jason. A part of her wonders what life could have been like if she was with Jason, she knows she could have been happier with Jason, but it just didn’t turn out the way she thought it would.

Her words took her back once again to a different time and place. A time when she and Jason were as close as two people could possibly be. A time that seemed to have stood still while they were together, a special time she would not soon forget.

As Carly and the boys spent some quality time with Jason, she couldn’t help but think of what could have been. What life would have been like if she and Jason were to be more than just friends and how it would be if the baby she was carrying was his. “Okay why don’t you boys go outside to play while Jason and I have some time to talk about some stuff?”

Michael and Morgan gave Jason a hug goodbye and went outside to play like their mother told them too.

“Are you sure you want to do this, Carly?" Jason asks with much concern. "I mean moving in with Nikolas is a huge step.”

“I'm not moving in full time, just bringing some things over. But yes I’m sure. I love him Jason and I’m happy with him.”

“Okay, I know how you are Carly, you jump before you think.”

“Not this time.” Carly wipes a tear from her eyes. "After Sonny, I didn't think I would open my heart up to anyone else again. I got into marriage way too fast with Lorenzo. I tried to use him to get over my feelings for Sonny and it didn't work. But it's not the same with Nikolas." Carly walks over towards Jason and sits down on the sofa. "I thought long and hard before getting into a relationship with Nikolas. I am sure that I love him. The only other person I've been this sure of was…." Carly lets her voice trail off.

“You know I’ll always be there for you if you need me.” Jason reached for her and drew her to him.

“I know and I’m thankful every day that I have you in my life, Jason.” Carly leans over and hugs Jason. She lets him wipe the tear from her eyes. "I don't know where I would be without you. You are the best friend….my only friend."

Jason started towards the front door and Carly pulled him back to her. “I love you, Jason.”

    “I love you too.”

Jason had just finished visiting Carly and the boys when his cell phone rings. "Hello?"

"Jason," says the voice on the phone. "It's Elizabeth."

"Hey…what's wrong? You don't sound too good." Jason picks up on the distress in her voice. "Is something wrong with Cameron?"

"No it's not. I'm sorry to have to tell you this. But Alan's been brought into General Hospital. He just had a heart attack."

Jason reels from the shock, speechless. "I'll be right there." Jason hangs up his phone and rushes to his car. The flashback ends and Jason is turning onto the street where the hospital is.

Emily, Skye, AJ and Ned return to GH. Emily shares a bittersweet reunion with Edward. Edward wishes her return would have been under better circumstances, but is glad she came home.

"I'm here for my family. That's what's counts," says Emily. She makes her way over to Tracy and says hello. Tracy does something that surprises the rest of the Q's and hugs Emily.

"It's good to have you back," Tracy says wiping a tear from her eye. "You have been missed."

Emily goes for an extra hug and Tracy tenses up. Edward laughs and Tracy tells her not to do that again. One hug is enough….and that's the last hug she'll ever receive from her.

It was early morning and the Quartermaine’s, minus Monica, were gathered together in one of the waiting rooms at the hospital. They wanted to stay close to Alan, desperate for any news regarding his condition. Edward periodically go to the Nurse’s station and get updates on Alan.

Tracy watches as her father makes his way back to his seat. If she didn't know any better, it appeared as if Edward aged ten years since news of Alan’s heart attack. Tracy walks over to Edward and takes his hand.

"The doctor told me he was critical, but stable. You know….I never thought we would be in this situation again. I can't continue waiting around for bits and pieces of information. It's driving me crazy." Edward takes a deep breath and looks over at his daughter. "You remind me so much of your mother right now."

Tracy closes her eyes and tries to keep herself from breaking down. Edward's statement is one of the nicest things he has ever said to her. "Thank you daddy. I don't want you getting upset. It's not good for your heart either."

Though Edward & Tracy had a tumultuous relationship, there was nothing but love between them when the time mattered. All of the Quartermaine's shared that kind of relationship with one another. They fight like cats and dogs but will stand united when faced with a tough challenge.

Edward & Tracy returned to the other waiting room and updated everyone with the news they learned. Skye and Emily held each other quietly crying, Jason stared stoically ahead and AJ paced back and forth. Tension abounded as time went by and Monica had yet to show up.

Frustrated, AJ said that he wanted to do something for Alan, to show his father how much he is loved. Emily wipes the tears from her face and readily agrees. Skye suggests that they all donate money to the American Heart Association. Jason offers his idea of holding a candle light vigil tomorrow night at the church the family attends. Ned thinks that Alan would approve of that. Ned agrees and says that he will start calling people to get it started when the door opens.

Edward looks at his grandchildren with much approval, happy that they are able to come together to support Alan. Edward considers going over to talk to Jason, but Tracy pulls him back, thinking that wouldn't be a very good idea.

The doors to the private waiting area open suddenly. The Quartermaine's look over to the door to see Epiphany bringing in Monica & Kevin. Monica rushes over to her children and give them all hugs. Edward seems pleased with Monica's arrival and takes her hand. The only person in the room not happy to see Monica was Tracy.

"I'm glad to see that you were able to break away from whatever it is you were doing and show up at the hospital," Tracy barks. "Your absence was barely noticeable."

"Hush Tracy, that's enough." Edward commands. "Monica my dear, I'm glad you were able to make it."

"Oh yes, because we couldn't get along without her her." Tracy looks around, picking up on what they really want to ask. "Well since I'm the only one who's willing to ask, what in the hell took you so long to get here? Why weren't you answering your phone?" Tracy demanded of Monica.

"I was unavailable Tracy. That's all you need to know," Monica remarks. "I'm here now and I want to do anything I can to help."

"Don't talk to Monica that way Tracy. What she was doing is none of your damn business!" says an angry Kevin.

"Excuse me, but I do not believe I was talking to you." Tracy walks over to Kevin and looks him up and down. "Why are you even here?"

    "Kevin's here to-"

"I'm here to support Monica through this ordeal." Kevin interrupts. "Monica needs someone right now to be there for her while she deals with this….situation."

Jason walks over next to Tracy and looks right at Kevin. "Well that's nice of you Dr. Collins, but Monica has her family here to support her. That's all she needs."

"What she needs Jason is someone to love her and hold her hand while she deals with you pack of animals."

"Love? Are you saying that we don't love our mother enough to help her cope?" Emily asks with an attitude.

"And who are you calling an animal," chimes in Skye.

"Kevin just drop it," Monica prods. "There's no need to get into this right now."

"No Monica, I think now is the perfect time." Kevin takes Monica's hand.

    "Kevin no…."

"Monica, it's ok. They're going to have to find out sooner or later, and I prefer sooner than later." Kevin pulls Monica close and kisses her cheek. "The reason why Monica wasn't here…is because she was with me."

The Quartermaine's exchange confusing and surprising glances as Kevin continues to speak. "Monica and I are in love. And we're going to be together for a very, very long time."

Everything Edward has been suspecting over the past few months is finally falling into place. The camera pans on the faces of everyone in the room, ending with alternating shots of Tracy, Monica & Kevin.

"You bitch," yells Tracy as she lunges for Monica!

Lainey in a strange way was looking forward to her date tonight with Stan. She finished her rounds and was ready to head home so she could get ready. She signed out and was heading to the elevator as she came upon Kelly, who was also ready to leave the hospital.

“So, are you going out tonight?” Kelly asked her friend.

“As a matter of fact, I am. Stan and I are going out tonight.”

“Stan …?” Kelly surprised to hear that name cross Lainey’s lips.

“Yeah Stan … what’s wrong with Stan. He’s a nice guy, good looking ….”

“Oh there’s nothing wrong with Stan. I just thought him not your type.”

“And how do you know what my type is, Kelly?”

“Well, he does work for Sonny Corinthos, I mean, he’s a little dangerous for you, isn’t he?”

Lainey just rolled her eyes at Kelly as the two of them boarded the open elevator together. The two talked more about Stan as they rode the elevator down to the parking garage.

“So if you’re going out with Stan, then am I to assume you’ve given up on Steven?” Kelly asked hoping Lainey would say that she had.

“Steven is a nice guy and I like him, but I don’t get involved with co-workers, you know that.”

“So you’re okay with us going out tonight?”

    “Sure.” Lainey lied.

“Good. I just wanted to be sure.” Kelly smiled.

Lainey returned a smile but underneath she knew that in the long run Kelly would end up hurting Steven. He’d be better off with her but it was a too late to go back on her word. “I hope the two of you have a good time tonight, Kelly.”

“Thanks. I hope you and Stan have a good time too.”

At the Quartermaine Mansion, Luke brings Tracy a cup of tea and kisses her forehead. Tracy tells Luke trying to be sweet doesn't make up for him disappearing for a few weeks. Luke covers, making sure to keep Tracy in the dark regarding why he left (to keep checking in on Bobbie on Sonny's island). Luke says he just needs to get away sometimes, but he's here now and that's all that matters.

Tracy bellows for Alice to bring her different kind of tea, saying she requested chamomile, not breakfast tea. Alice takes a sip and tells her it is chamomile. Luke apologizes on Tracy's behalf and asks Alice to give them some privacy. Tracy snaps at Luke not to apologize for her. She can speak for herself. Luke gives a look of concern to Tracy, who turns away, trying to mask her pain and fear of possibly losing Alan.

Tracy admits that Alan's heart attack threw her off her game and though she doesn't want to admit it, she doesn't think she can focus on business when her brother is laying in a hospital bed. Luke promises to support Tracy in whatever she decides to do, saying his only concern is her. Tracy thinks if she abandons ELQ, Edward will see it as a weakness.

Edward, who's been eavesdropping, interrupts and disagrees with Tracy. Family comes first. He says he has seen Tracy's leadership at ELQ since she maneuvered control earlier this year and thinks the company is better because of it. Edward tells her daughter he loves her, and that Lila would be proud of her putting her family above business. Tracy hugs her father, kisses Luke and says that at the next ELQ board meeting, she'll be taking an indefinite leave from the company.

AJ secretly listens as this is going on, smiling before walking away.

Suddenly it hits her that this guard has watched over Carly before, so Bobbie pulls out her trump card….Carly. She threatens to tell Sonny that he hit on Carly when they were married, professing his feelings for Carly, who promised not to tell Sonny. The guard doesn't think Sonny would believe that, but Bobbie convinces him otherwise. The guard, afraid of what might happen, caves and tells Bobbie he'll have the pilot prepare a flight back to Port Charles.

Bobbie thanks the guard, but reminds him this is to stay between them. After the guard leaves, Bobbie begins packing her things. She's hid from her problems for too long. It's time to own to what she's done.

Jason stares at Brenda, appearing to be happy to see her. "What are you standing over there for? Come give me a hug!" Jason says opening his arms. Brenda slowly walks over and hugs Jason, he tucks her head under his chin and he squeezes tightly. Brenda rests comfortably in Jason's arms, though feeling a bit of awkwardness at the familiarity of it.

After they let go of the embrace, Jason admires Brenda and comments on how great she looks. Brenda smiles and says Jason isn't looking too bad himself. Jason tells Brenda how Alan's doing; Brenda says she'll pray he gets better. An awkward silence then ensues, neither one wanting to bring up the person neither are too keen on seeing right now. Brenda asks Jason if he'll do her a favor.

"Sure, anything for my favorite ex-wife," Jason remarks laughing.

Brenda smiles and tosses her hair back. "Of course I'm your favorite, it's not like you had any other wives…..legally anyway," she shoots back. She gets right to the point and asks him to not tell Sonny that she's back. She explains that she wants to focus on rebuilding her life back in PC, and doesn't want Sonny interfering with that.

Jason sympathizes with Brenda and agrees to keep this to himself. Jason tells her that things aren't too good between he and Sonny. Tired of his selfishness and arrogance, Jason finally told him off. Brenda lauds Jason for standing up to Sonny and promises to meet up with him again later. Shortly after leaving Jason, Brenda gets a call from Robin, telling her Dr. Kelly Lee had to reschedule Robin's appointment.

"Here's everything," Mac says throwing a file onto Anna's desk. "We're just about ready to close the file on the death of Brandon Wexler. I've heard that our suspect will be in custody within the next 72 hours." Mac shuts the door to Anna's office and sits in the chair in front of it.

"Thank you," Anna says sharply. "You can close the door on your way out."

"What's your problem?" asks Mac angrily."You have no reason to have a chip on your shoulder. You've got the good job. You get all the credit. You weren't the one ridiculed in front of others within the department. You weren't demoted so an outsider can come in and "fix" things." Mac pounds his fist on the desk. "Damn it Anna what else do you want? We're supposed to be family."

Anna looks up from her paperwork and leans back in her chair. "Whatever animosity you hold towards me for replacing you is your own personal issue. I didn't politic my way into this position. I was the best choice for the job." Anna gets up and pours herself a glass of water. "You act as if I did this on purpose. You're a great cop Mac."

"Then why don't you give me back my old position," Mac asks, trying to appeal to Anna's respect for their friendship. "You know I can do the job."

Anna puts her hand on Mac's shoulder and gently turns him down. She explains that she would definitely make him her equal if she could, but it's not her decision. She reports to the mayor and no matter how they got into this situation, she is the Commissioner and Chief right now. Mac, who's more hurt than he is upset, lashes out at Anna, accusing her of using this to further her own political agenda. He storms out of her office slamming the door.

It had only been an hour since Bobbie had been back in Port Charles. If it were up to her, she would have been back sooner, but due to inclement weather and delays by the pilot, she couldn't leave as soon as she wanted. It's pouring outside, but that won't keep her from doing what she has to do.

First on her list is paying a visit to her little girl. Kneeling down, she kisses her fingers and trails then over the name Barbara Jean. A bouquet of flowers catches her attention, causing her to smile gently. She notices Tony still remembers to have flowers sent every week.

"Oh BJ, I miss you so much baby girl. I need your help." She stays with BJ for a long time talking quietly to her. She doesn't care that the rain is pouring on her, she needs to pour her heart out. She imagines what life would be life if BJ had lived, if a drunk driver didn't tragically cut her life short. She imagines watching BJ attending her first dance, going through her first heartbreak, graduating from high school and so on. Bobbie knows she should have known better, having lost her daughter by a drunk driver and she herself was guilty of the same crime. Standing up, she wipes away her tears and says goodbye to BJ.

Carly is shown standing on the side of the road, looking at something happening ahead. She tries to make out what it is, but the more she tries to focus on the scene, the blurrier her vision becomes. She walks slowly towards what has caught her attention. She hears people calling out her name, telling her they love her, but she can't get to them. Suddenly, she appears at the hospital, watching someone being operated on. She turns to her right and tries to make out the faces staring through the window. 4 people, crying, afraid for the person inside on the operating table. Suddenly Carly appears inside the room with the doctors. They declare the person dead. Carly eases over to the table and removes the sheet…..the camera cuts to the horrified look on Carly's face and she wakes up screaming!

Emily is shown sipping a cup of tea while looking at pictures of her family in the Quartermaine Study. She flips the pages of the photo album back and forth until she gets to a large picture of the immediate family. In the picture, taken shortly before Jason's accident, features Alan, Monica, AJ, Jason and herself together in the living room. Everyone looks so happy in the picture. She sighs to herself as she remembers the simpler, less complicated times.

The sound of the door to the study opening causes Emily to jump. AJ enters and tells Emily to calm down. When he notices what she's doing, he comments that they have something in common. They both like to look at old pictures of the family.

To say there was tension between Emily and AJ would be an understatement. Emily never forgave AJ for aligning himself with Faith Roscoe to kidnap Michael. To make matters worse, AJ faked his death and let poor Michael take the blame for it! At least that's what Emily thought. After AJ surprised the family last Christmas by showing up and revealing he wasn't dead, he explained everything. Saying that he only faked his death to end the pain he had caused…most of all to his son. He had no idea the doctor treating Jason & Michael would set poor Michael up.

Emily stares at the picture of their family and breaks down. She says it's not fair that their father is having to suffer. He's a great man and if ANYONE deserves to suffer it's Monica. AJ interrupts Emily and tells her she needs to let go of her anger. If it wasn't for Monica, Emily would have never become a part of the Quartermaine Family. He tells her that we're all human and we all make mistakes. Emily knows that more than anyone, given her past indiscretion with Nikolas while married to Zander.

AJ says everyone has been hurt by Monica's actions, but they can either dwell on them and make her suffer, or they can do what Alan would want them to do, and that's forgive her and try to move on. He tells her their father has spent years resenting AJ for causing Jason's accident, but eventually he has forgiven him.

Emily says that Alan is a better person than she is, because she can't forgive Monica. She's forgiven too many people for too many things in the past. Everything thinks just because they say sorry, St. Emily is going to forgive and forget. Emily declares she's tired of being people's doormat

Looking back and forth, she sees that no one is in Alan's room so she slips in. She sits down next to him and reaches for his hand. Quietly she offers up a prayer for Alan.

She then tells him that he has always been a wonderful man and she has always looked up to him. There is no one like him in the world. She knows in her heart that he will get better. She confesses her crimes to him and says she knows that he wouldn't judge him. That he would understand. Knowing that anyone could walk in at any moment, she stands up and kisses Alan's cheek. Port Charles begins with a continuation of a scene from the day before…

"Monica, I had to see you." Kevin quickly strides into the room and pulls her into a tight embrace. He catches her face in his hands and begins passionately kissing her. He continues to kiss her until they are both breathless. "I want you to remember what we have Monica. I don't want you to forget that I love you." Kevin whispers as they break apart.

Monica leans her head against his chest. She doesn't move out of his arms but eventually pushes him away. "I know that Kevin, but I can't do this right now. I need to be with my husband. Please don't make this any harder than it already is. I have to stay with Alan for now, I thought you understood that."

"I understand this." He bends his lips down and touches Monica's lips softly, "And this." He kisses her again and pulls her closer as if to imprint his body with hers, "And this." Monica sighs as she gives herself up fully to the kiss. Kevin walks her backward to the bed and places her on it. He follows her down on the bed, fully intending to make love to her right then and there.

Neither of them hears the door open until it slams. Both Kevin and Monica jump up as if they were burned. "Oh for God's sake Monica, how low class of you to meet your lover in a hospital bed." Emily spit out scornfully. "Lest you forget, Alan, your HUSBAND, who suffered a major heart attack is lying in this hospital down the hallway! Don't you want to know how or why I found you? Or should I leave the two of you alone for your little rendezvous?" Hatred poured out of every inch of Emily's body as she glared at the two of them.

At the PCPD, Anna walks into her office and finds Mac sitting in her chair with his feet propped up. Anna tells Mac to get out, but he doesn't move. Instead he dances around walking in during Anna's little rendezvous with Lorenzo. Anna acts as if she doesn't know what Mac is talking about. Mac walks over to Anna and talks about their sworn duty to serve and protect, not serve on your back. Anna has a surprised look on her face. Mac shifts his eyes to her desk and makes a disgusted facial gesture. Anna hauls off and slaps Mac across the face for his blatant disrespect.

Mac tells Anna that her extracurricular "activities" with Lorenzo has officially become a conflict of interest. Mac says Anna acts with a heir of superiority, when she's no better than the people she's supposed to take down. Mac says she's not in the spy business anymore, she can't get in so deep that she can't dig herself out of it. Mac says things around the PCPD better begin to change around here, or he'll go the mayor and tell him everything. Before Mac goes, he asks Anna if she'll be able to make the right decision when the time is right. The camera shifts the door as he closes it. Anna flops down in her chair looking worried. She reluctantly admits to herself that Mac is right. She has become too involved. Anna then hears a chime on her computer. She opens up her Outlook account and finds an encrypted e-mail. Remembering her training from the WSB, she decodes it and finds a message telling her this person has important information regarding the recent mob attacks. The e-mail instructs Anna to meet with him/her at Pier 24 at midnight tomorrow. She takes out her phone and places a call to Lorenzo, but gets his voicemail. She tells him they need to meet as soon as possible.

At Wyndemere, Nikolas knocks on the door to Michael's room. After being told he can come in, Nikolas finds Michael listening to his iPod. Nikolas asks Michael how he's feeling. Michael sits up in pain, still feeling the affects from his attack a few weeks before. Michael says he's fine, and though he's not trying to be rude, all he wants to do is be left alone. Nikolas says he'll leave after he asks Michael something. Nik asks if Michael would be interested in having a little party with some of his friends at Wyndemere tonight. Nik is surprised when Michael snaps at him.

"You mean have friends here? Have them come all the way out to Spoon Island where they not only have to deal with my dad's security, but yours as well? Thanks, but no thanks. Besides, no one wants to hang out with me after what happened. They think something could happen to them. And I would feel really bad if something did."

Nikolas can't blame Michael for being worried for the safety of his friends, and says he understands. He promises Michael that things won't be this way forever, saying Sonny is doing his best to protect his family. Michael snaps back, his best just isn't good enough anymore. The camera zooms in on Nikolas as he turns his head away. The camera pulls back into the next scene.

Kevin sat up and pointed a finger at Emily, "Don't you talk to your mother like that! Treat her with the respect that she deserves."

Emily walks towards Kevin and turns up her nose as if she smells something badly. She looks at Kevin, tilts her head and slaps the hell out of Kevin. "Don't you ever talk to me about respect Kevin. Respect is given to those who earn it. Grandfather, Tracy and I were visiting my father…you know, her husband, your supposed close friend when he suffered another heart attack. He almost died while you were about to have sex with this jackass Monica. I heard the page and saw Kevin come flying down the hall. Locked, cocked and ready to unload right? Emily shouts sarcastically, "So sorry that I interrupted Kevin, but when my father almost dies I get a little upset." Kevin opens his mouth to protest and Emily yells at him to shut up.

Monica stands up to hug Emily. Emily slaps her hands off her. "Don’t touch me. Down that hallway less than an hour ago, my father almost died and Grandfather almost lost it. If he sees the two of you together, it will kill him." Emily does a good job of keeping herself from losing control. She opens the door and whispers to Monica that she needs to begin putting her husband first. When Monica is far enough down the hall, she shuts the door and turns back to Kevin.

"If you know what's good for you, you'll go home. Take a vacation, go visit your daughter, do something. Do anything that'll keep you away from my mother. As much as I dislike what she has done to my father and my family, she still is my mother, and I will do anything I can to make sure my father is happy. If I ever hear about or see the two of you together again in this hospital, or it even seems as if there could be anything beyond a professional relationship, I'll have you fired. I will ruin your career, simply because I can."

Kevin warns Emily not to start something she can't finish. Emily warns Kevin not to test her patience. She once again, strongly recommends he takes a vacation for a while. Emily walks out of the room and slams the door. Kevin flops down on the bed and exhales deeply. He takes out his cell phone and places a call.

"Livvie? It's dad. I'm going to be taking a little vacation soon and I wanted to know if you would be up for a visit. I know Caleb err….Stephen will be going on tour soon, so I'd like to see you before you go. I really miss you Livvie. Call me when you get this. I love you."

Kevin closes his phone and walks out of the room.

Skye pulls into the driveway of the Gatehouse. She bangs her hands on the steering wheel and screams in anger. Why do bad things always have to happen to her family? Alan accepted her into the Quartermaines even when he didn't have to. He adopted her knowing she wasn't his biological father. He's shown her more love than Adam Chandler ever did. She can't lose that. She can't lose the man she calls her father.

At Wyndemere, Helena is sitting in the rocking chair holding little Spencer. She flashes back to knocking out the nanny with chloroform and making seem as if she passed out downstairs. She holds her great-grandson in her arms and sniffs his hair.

"You have a brilliant future ahead of you my child. You are destined to do great things, as your father once was. Unfortunately, Nikolas was too blinded by outside parties to realize his true potential. It's a shame I'm forbidden to spend time with you my young prince. Oh, the things I could teach you….if only your father would just do the right thing and give you to me. I would raise you to maximize your full potential."

Helena gently rocks Spencer back and forth in the chair putting him to sleep. She lays him down and walks over to the dresser, which has pictures of Courtney (Spencer's mother), and Nikolas & Carly. Helena's eyes fixates on Carly. She takes the picture out of the frame and rips it apart before laying it back down on the dresser. Helena makes her way back over to Spencer's bed and watches over him.

"Get the hell away from my son," says Nikolas glaring at Helena from the doorway.

Bobbie follows Mac into the main lobby area where her family is gathered. Bobbie hugs Lucky and Lulu, telling them that she loves them very much. Luke gathers her into a big hug and whispers that he will always be there for her. Bobbie replies that she knows, and wipes the tears from her eyes. Luke and his children leave after telling her that they will keep in touch.

Michael hugs his grandmother and tells her that he loves her and will miss her. Bobbie asks Carly where Morgan is and Carly replies that she didn't want her youngest to see his grandmother in handcuffs. Bobbie nods and asks how Lucas is. Carly shakes her head and begins to tear up. She tells her mother how devastated he's been. She says eventually he'll come around, but for now all they can do is give him his space. She hugs her mother and begins crying. She promises she'll keep in contact with Bobbie, and when she gets out, she's going to be a new grandma! Carly kisses Bobbie on the cheek and says goodbye. She puts her arm around Michael's shoulder and leads him out of the police station without saying another word.

"Get the hell away from my son," Nikolas says standing in the doorway. "I won't tell you again Helena."

Helena slowly backs away from young Spencer and allows Nikolas to come over and check the child. When he sees no visible harm has been done, he orders her out of the room. Nikolas closes the door to the room and proceeds to lay into his grandmother.

"What are you doing here. How dare you show your face here after what you've done to Sam & Alexis. You have ruined that girls life, the same way you tried to ruin Lucky's life."

Helena laughs in Nikolas face, knowing that he's oblivious to what she's set into motion. "Maybe you should begin worrying about those close to you, instead of your worthless cousin."

Nikolas seems interested on Helena's comment. "What…or should I say who should I be worrying about?"

"Try all you want Nikolas, but you cannot stop me from making sure you fulfill your destiny. I will continue to protect the legacy of the Cassadine family. Even if that means hurting those that you care about. I've been distracted Nikolas, but I'm more focused than ever. And I intend on correcting the mistakes you've made, and making sure you learn from them."

Helena then walks away, leaving Nikolas to think about what she's said. Nikolas re-enters Spencer's room and notices the ripped photo on his dresser. He suddenly has a feeling something bad is going to happen.

Bobbie looks up at Noah with fresh tears in her eyes. She confesses that she made so many mistakes, but she wants to make everything right. Noah says that she is on the right path to do that. He cups her face and touches his lips to hers, "Remember Bobbie, I love you. I will come visit you as often as they let me." Bobbie's smile wavers as she realizes that this is goodbye for now. Mac comes up to her and tells her that it's time to go. "I love you Bobbie," Noah tells her, his heart in his eyes. "I have always loved you."

As Mac leads Bobbie away, something catches her attention from the corner of her eye. She turns and is surprised to see Lucas. He stares with much pain in his eyes. Though they don't say anything to each other, just Lucas being there is enough for Bobbie. She tells Mac she's ready as he takes her back to her cell.

Lucas watches as Bobbie is carted away. Tears slowly fall down his face as he mouths, "I love you."

Carly is shown standing on the side of the road, looking at something happening ahead. She tries to make out what it is, but the more she tries to focus on the scene, the blurrier her vision becomes. She walks slowly towards what has her attention. She hears people calling her name, telling her they love her, but she can't get to them. Suddenly, she appears at the hospital, watching someone being operated on. She turns to her right and tries to make out the faces staring through the window. 4 people, crying, afraid for the person inside on the operating table. Suddenly Carly appears inside the room with the doctors. They declare the person dead. Carly eases over to the table and removes the sheet…..a horrified looks comes upon Carly's face! Suddenly……..

Carly sits up and screams in panic. She puts her face her hands, letting her hair fall forward. She takes a deep breath and flips her hair back. "Not again," she says to herself. This has been a recurring nightmare of Carly's October. Each time, it just scares her senseless. She goes to her closet to put on her robe when she notices her bedroom door was locked. Carly never locks her door when she's home with the boys. Something could happen and they may need to get into her room. She chalks it up to accidentally locking the door, oblivious to the fact that she wasn't alone in her room last night….

Alexis knocks on the door to Nikolas' study and enters the room. She kisses her nephew and sits down to catch up on how things are with him. Nikolas says beyond a little run in with Helena, he's doing great. Alexis shudders and curses the evil matriarch of the Cassadine family. Nikolas decides to talk about something positive, and begins beaming from ear to ear, happily telling Alexis things between he and Carly have never been better. Alexis specifically asks about Nikolas, not necessarily Carly. Nikolas tells Alexis that she's going to have to learn how to tolerate Carly sooner or later. She is carrying her great-niece & nephew. Alexis jokingly asks if Nikolas is sure the babies are his. Nikolas looks offended, but Alexis says she has a point.

Nikolas re-assures his aunt that the twins are indeed his, and he's looking forward to his new life together with Carly….with or without Alexis' approval. Alexis smirks at Nikolas, then rolls her eyes. Alexis says it's obvious that he loves Carly, and Carly even loves Nikolas. So as long as he's happy, she's happy. Nikolas tells her that's great, because he's going to want her to be at his wedding. Once Alexis picks her jaw up from the floor, she forces out a congratulations and hugs Nikolas all the while gritting her teeth. Nikolas says it's not a done deal yet. He plans on asking Carly today. Alexis says well then it's a that she wanted to spend some time Spencer. Nikolas has Alfred get Spencer ready to go with Alexis, while he takes Alexis to see the living room. He explains to her he originally wanted to do a dinner party, but Lucky & Lulu thought it'd be a little odd, especially if Carly said no. Nikolas walks Alexis down the hall and opens the door to the living room, showing off what he and his brother & sister came up with.

The Scorpio House was decorated festively for the party to celebrate Robin and Patrick's pregnancy. Brenda, Maxie and Anna were all there, working hard to get the house complete. The house was cleaned and Brenda was just going through making sure everything was perfect. Brenda had called Jax and used his contacts to use the best catering company New York City had to offer. Because of him, they now had so much food and drinks the kitchen was overflowing. Tables were set up so that the food could be served buffet style. Brenda had hired some of the workers from the catering company to work the party.

Anna and Maxie were sitting on the couch, looking through the picture book of Robin and Patrick. They, along with Noah, had put together old baby pictures into a book to give to the happy couple. Brenda had taken some of the pictures and blew them up and hung them around the house. Very soon, people would start to arrive.

Brenda walked into the living room and surveyed the room. "I think everything is all set." Brenda glanced at her watch. "People will start getting here. I am so excited!"

Carly was going to take advantage of this day. She wasn't feeling 100%, but then again, that was what pregnancy was all about. She just wanted to curl up on the couch and catch some past episodes of Gossip Girl, her new favorite TV show that she TiVo's ever week. Michael and Morgan were at school and then were going to be picked up by Sonny (against her better judgment) so they can go shopping. She was happy to have some down time after the events of the past few weeks. She glances over at a picture of herself and Bobbie and feels sad.

Settling down with some ice cream, Carly sighs when her cell rings. It's Nikolas. "Hey babe. What are you doing?"

Nikolas looks around the living room at Wyndemere. He had their chef make all of Carly's favorite dishes…which isn't very hard since it's all junk food. Flowers were everywhere as well as non scented candles because he knew that recently, the scented ones made her sick. He had a beautiful kimono flown in from Japan for Carly. He also went out to purchase massage oils so that he could rub her belly just the way she liked. Hanging up on the doorway was his tuxedo. "I need to see you right away. Could you please come over here?"

Carly sighs again and looks longingly at her ice cream and her TV. "Nikolas, I really don't feel like it. The boys are gone and I really just want this day to myself."

"Please Carly." Nikolas insists. She refuses and they go back and forth. He firmly tells her that he has to see her and she finally tells him that if he wants to see her, he has to come to her. "I can't Carly. You have to come to Wyndemere."

"Nikolas, I sent my driver away with the boys. Why can't this wait until tomorrow or better yet, send me your car?" Carly whines.

Nikolas begins to get a little annoyed. He knows Carly may not be in the best of moods after having to say goodbye to her mother as she went off to jail only the day before, but maybe this will make her happy. "My driver brought took Alexis & Spencer back to the main island and he won't be back anytime soon." Nikolas explains. "Trust me; this will be worth your while." Nikolas cajoles.

Carly stands up and pulls down her Liz Lange maternity shirt over her leggings. She could drive herself over there, but everyone knows her paranoia about driving. She looks out the window and sees that the sky is clear. She reluctantly gives in. "Fine ok. I will be there in about thirty minutes. But I want you to talk to me the entire time….you know I hate driving!" She pouts. Carly says I love you to Nikolas and hangs up after Nikolas agrees to her terms.

Nikolas smiles and takes Carly's engagement ring out of his pocket and smiles. The scene transitions to Carly walking upstairs to change clothes, before fading into her garage, where the brake fluid from Carly's car leaks slower and slower.
