  1. Margo thanks Lucinda for coming in and shuts the door to the interrogation room. Margo asks Lucinda where Lucy and Johnny are. When Lucinda hesitates to name their location, Margo cites that the main reason Lucy took Johnny was because of Craig. Now that he's gone, there's no need to hide them so guardedly. Lucinda argues that while Craig may be long gone, the reason she took Johnny away is because of Craig AND Dusty, who is still alive and well in Oakdale. Meg intercepts Paul at the door and asks where he's been. Paul replies that he's been out for a walk. Meg mentions that Paul has been very elusive lately and wants to know what's up. Paul shrugs and says that he's just been hit harder by the miscarriage than he thought he would. For a moment, the two start to bond over the miscarriage until Meg hisses that Rosanna was the one that murdered their child. Paul walks out and pulls his phone out of his pocket. Carly comes home from work and calls Jack, saying that Carrie was nice enough to finish up some last minute details at work for her. Carly suggests Jack bring the kids over for pizza and a movie. Later, Jack arrives with the kids in tow and asks if it's alright if he stays. Sage begs her mother to say yes and Carly tells Jack he can stay. As the movie comes to an end, Carly and Jack see that all three kids have fallen asleep. As they talk, J.J. wakes up and overhears a tender moment between the two. As Jack loads the kids up and prepares to drive away, J.J. corners him and tells him that he knows he still has feelings for Mom and there's just one thing he asks: Don't screw it up this time. Dusty finds Alison working at The Enquirer and asks to talk. Alison takes the news of Lance's murder hard, saying she once saw him as a friend. Dusty sympathizes with her and asks if Alison knows anyone who could possibly be sending her those messages on Myspace. Alison says no, but promises to think harder. Later, Casey runs into Alison at Al's and the two start to talk. Casey refers to a waitress as a "hot little mama" and Alison remembers the Myspace stalker saying the same thing in one of his messages. Alison makes an excuse to leave and calls Dusty, saying she knows who her Myspace stalker is.
  2. Noah explains to Luke that Carrie is an old friend he ran into the other night and claims that she has an off-again/on-again romance with his old buddy, Chip. Noah fails to tell Luke that all of this is a lie and she's simply a stranger he hooked up with when he was mat at Luke over keeping the truth from him. Luke buys it and apologizes for blasting Noah. Noah acts a bit hurt, but eventually tells Luke it's not his fault. Gwen bolts from her nap when she hears Hallie crying. She rushes into the nursery and finds Will already pacifying her. Gwen frets that she's worried that Iris is back with a vengeance and wants to take Hallie from them. Carly comes by after hearing a frantic voice mail that Gwen left her earlier. Will assures the women that Dusty had Chaz stand guard at the door in case Iris decided to pop back by. Gwen suggests they leave town for a little bit until Iris leaves, but Will tells her that Iris won't just go away like that. She should knows that. Will suggests Gwen face Iris head on and find out what she's truly back in Oakdale for. Iris arrives at Barbara's suite and knocks. Barbara's startled when Iris rears her head through the door. Barbara tells Iris that when she made the deal to do the adoption with her, she had no idea what she was getting herself into. Iris surprisingly tells Barbara that she, too, knows that it wasn't the will of the Lord and suggests they pray together and ask for forgiveness. After Iris leaves, Barbara calls Will and tells him that Iris is kookier now than ever and offers money for them to get out of town. Will refuses the money, saying that they're going to stay put and face Iris. Brad swings by the studio and asks Lily for Katie. Katie comes up from behind and tells Brad to make it quick. Brad excitedly tells Katie that he's going to get a specialist to come to Oakdale and see Lyla. Katie tells Brad it's not worth it and politely asks him to leave. Katie uses Lily's "work at work/home at home" policy for an excuse for Brad to leave, but deep down, she knows she's ignoring Brad because he's falling for her and she can't stand to hurt his feelings. Lily gets off work at WOAK and goes by the police station. Lily tells Margo about running into an old friend of Craig's and how he said Craig called him before he got on the plane, saying he was going to get Lucy and Johnny. Margo asks for the man's name and number, says that she'll look into it and thanks Lily for her help. Later, as Craig's old friend leaves the station, we see Margo tracing the trail of Craig's doomed jet with a pen. She realizes that the plane went off the radar just a little while away from Barbados. Knowing that only one person knows the true location of Lucy and Johnny, Margo makes a phone call.
  3. Jack surprises Carly at work with a visit from the kids. As Carly takes them on a quick tour of the television studio, Jack has an akward run-in with Katie. Jack asks how Katie and Brad are holding up to which Katie scoffs that she and Brad were never together. When Jack asks about Katie's quest to have a baby, Katie informs Jack that it's none of his concern. Her snotty remark almost makes Jack blow a fuse, but luckily, Carly is there to extinguish the flame before it starts, telling Katie she's needed in Lily's office. Lily meets with Katie and goes over the terms of her new contract. Lily warns Katie that she did this as a favor to Kim and quite frankly, she almost didn't re-hire her at all, Kim or not. Lily tells Katie that as long as she can keep her mouth shut and respect Lily, and keep home at home and work at work, they should be fine. Later, Lily runs into a former friend and business partner of Craig's. He issues sympathies at Craig's passing, noticing her from old family photos. He tells of how Craig called him before the plane took off and said he was going to go get Lucy and Johnny, which peaks Lily's interest. Margo meets Brad at Java just as he asked. She brings Tom along as Brad tells of how he has enough pull to bring in a cancer specialist for Lyla. He tells how his old warehouse manager was good friends with a cancer specialist, one that can help Lyla. Margo thanks him graciously for his concern but tells him no thanks. Later, Tom voices his doubts to Margo that the only concern Brad has is to get Lyla on his side so he can get her approval to start making a baby with Katie again. Gwen panics and runs to Carly's, but no one is there. Quickly, she calls Dusty and tells him that Iris have re-surfaced. Knowing that he thinks of Will as a brother, she asks him to escort her home to Will. Dusty agrees and as they enter the house, find that Iris isn't around. Will emerges from the bedroom and asserts that Iris must have left. Dusty offers to check around the house as Will tells Gwen that Iris seems to be a very devout Christian now and came to town to make amends. Gwen scoffs at the idea of Iris being reformed, and suggests she and Will take Hallie and run. Luke and Noah shower together, hoping to increase the passion and decrease the akwardness. As the steam soaks the shower door, neither can hear the telephone ringing. Luke emerges from the shower, feeling satisfied and after drying off, runs to the kitchen to grab some water. He sees the message light blinking on the answering machine. As the machine plays the message, Luke turns and stares at Noah. Noah asks who it was and Luke hisses that it's for Noah. As Noah listens, he recognizes the voice. It's Carrie, asking Noah to please call her as soon as possible.
  4. Mantegna's world starts turning! Joe Mantegna joins the cast of "A New World Turns" in the role of Michael Peretti, beginning April 9th. Michael is the older brother of the deceased Casey Peretti, whose wife Lyla and daughter Katie reside in Oakdale. A well known cancer specialist, Michael comes to Oakdale when he is asked to head the new cancer center at Oakdale Memorial. Mantegna is a Tony-award winning actor who recently landed a lead role on CBS's "Criminal Minds". Luckily, ANWT producers were able to work out a flexible schedule with Mantegna who shoots "Criminal Minds" in California. "Joe will be traveling alot, but it's something that he was able to cope with," says Executive Producer and Headwriter Dusty Alford. "We're ecstatic to have an actor of Joe's caliber here with us and we're excited about the story that he'll take part in". Mantegna's first episodes were with Don Hastings and rumors hint that Michael will be working with Anne Sward, Marie Masters, Terri Colombino, Elizabeth Hubbard, and Colleen Zenk Pinter. In other news, Marie Wilson ["Meg"] has been let go from "A New World Turns" due to storyline-dictated reasons. "It was hard learning I'd be leaving," says Wilson. "But I'm excited for more opportunities to come. I feel no hard feeling towards any of the staff at 'ANWT'. They've been so great to me, and I totally agree with them. I think 'Meg' has run her course for now." Wilson's last airdate has not yet been decided, although it will probably be early April. Martha Byrne will be sticking around alot longer this time around. "When I was with 'ATWT', I opted to sign a one-year contract," says Byrne. "After the regime change and the name change, I wasn't sure if there was still room for me in 'ANWT's hearts, but thankfully, Dusty showed me that there was and now, I'm sticking around for 3 years!" Lastly, a casting call has been sent out for "Shawn". "Shawn", a handsome young man well into his twenties, is a short-term role that will kick off a big story.
  5. Bob thanks the board for meeting him on such short notice and tells them that he has an idea that will bring Memorial back from the dumps. The board votes and the funding for the cancer center is approved. Bob shares the news with Paul and Will. Will tells Barbara the good news and Barbara thanks Bob personally. Brad comes by to help Jack move some of his stuff back to the farm. Jack insists that the kids will get all the love and attention they can get at the farm, and when Carly's off, she can keep them. Carly thanks Jack for being so understanding and shares a very special heart to heart with Parker in which she dares him to "think strong and fight hard". As they leave, Carrie calls, wanting to show Carly the blueprints that were just drafted. Carly goes over to WOAK and sees them. She's impressed. Later, Katie comes prancing in the door and tells Carly that Kim had Lily give her her job back. Carly issues a stern warning to Katie: stay the hell away. On her way to meet Emily at The Enquirer, Alison bumps into Casey. The two start to chat and Casey tells Alison that he heard Aaron is moving back to Chicago. Alison calls Aaron and he ignores her call. Alison tracks him down at the Lily and Holden's. Aaron says Alison was right. He can only see her as a porn star, not the girl he once knew. Alison says that everyone's made mistakes and she made a big one, but he doesn't need to leave town. Aaron tells Alison he's only leaving for a little while to clear his head. He'll be back in a few weeks. Alison promises Aaron that leaving town isn't going to solve his problems. Margo scolds Lyla for keeping her fainting spells a secret. Lyla tells Margo that she didn't want to worry her. Margo admits that she overheard Casey talking to her. Margo excuses herself to talk with the doctor. The doctor informs her that if Lyla doesn't start receiving treatment soon, she will die. Margo breaks the news to Katie and a newly arrived Brad. Brad sees an opportunity to redeem himself in Lyla's eyes and jumps at it, offering to find a specialist. Will comes home and looks around the house for Gwen. When he looks out the front door, he can't believe his eyes. Iris emerges and knocks on the door, almost simultaneously letting herself in. Will asks what the hell she thinks she's doing and Iris politely asks that Will refrain from cursing in her presence, holding her Bible by her side. Will asks what Iris is up to this time, and Iris confesses that she's been saved by the Lord and has come to mend ways with her daughter and son-in-law. As Iris talks, we see Gwen getting a text message as she sits in the park that says "Don't come home. Iris back. Keep Hallie away." Gwen panics as we see Iris ask what Will's doing and Will fumbles to return his cell phone to his back pocket.
  6. Lyla comes on stage and starts to sing. Halfway through her number, she becomes weak and faints. Lisa rushes on stage and is finally able to get Lyla to come to. At the hospital, the doctor assures Margo that Lyla's fainting is not from another illness. Still, he continues, Lyla's health is slowly deteriorating and Lyla refuses to seek treatment. Katie clings to Margo as the two women look in at their mother. Alison meets Emily at the Lakeview for lunch and tells Emily that appreciates Dusty, but he doesn't need to constantly protect her. She can take care of herself. Emily asks how Alison is doing in school and Alison remarks that she's broke. Emily gets a great idea and tells Alison that she's been needing a columnist. Emily thinks that the two of them working together could bring them closer and eventually, Alison agrees. Later, Susan shares her concerns about them working together, telling Alison that she's not so sure (with Dusty looking for Alison's stalker) that Emily's feelings of betrayal towards herself and Dusty won't re-surface. Paul sits down at Al's and thanks Rosanna for meeting him. Rosanna shows Paul a medical sheet and Paul seems surprised. Paul says that he remembers Meg wanting to make love to him, and didn't seem fazed when Paul declared he didn't have a condom. Rosanna concludes that that must have been when she conceived. Paul apologizes to Rosanna and says that he was right all along. He can't imagine Meg being so desperate to hold on to him that she would go to such great lengths. Rosanna and Paul make a plan to catch Meg. Bob tells Kim about Paul and Will's idea and Kim thinks it's a swell idea. However, when Bob brings up possibly working with Susan on the project to restore the hospital's diminishing image, Kim hates the idea. Bob also tells Kim that he's going back to work. Kim thinks it's too soon and shares her doubts with Lisa over the phone. Bob overhears Kim's doubts and tells her that he's fine and can handle being at work again. Lily comes home and sees that Holden has gotten a babysitter for the kids and prepared a romantic candlelight dinner. The two bond over a romantic meal and later bask in the glow of candles in their bedroom. Lily says they've come along way from when she used to think "that stable boy" had "an attitude". Holden laughs and tells Lily that his world would stop turning without her. Margo tells Lyla that she shouldn't scare them like that anymore. Casey comes by and asks for some time alone with Lyla, which peaks Margo's interest. Casey tells Lyla that he's thought about her advice to get his life back on track and thanks her. Lyla talks of how proud she is, but Casey tells her that she wouldn't have time to be proud had it not been for Lisa's quick thinking. Lyla assures Casey she's fine and asks Casey to keep her fainting spell the other day a secret. She doesn't want the girls to know that this has been happening for a while. Little does she know, Margo hears every word.
  7. Carrie introduces herself to Carly and the two quickly start to work. It's not long before the two start to differ on a design for a new stage. Carly tells Lily that Carrie's blueprints are all scattered and she thinks she's too young for the job. Lily insists that Carrie has adequate credentials. Later, Carly returns him and Jack tells her that he's moving back to Emma's farm. Carly acts like it doesn't upset her, but when the two of them tells the kids, Jack notices Carly's demeanor. He calls her on being upset, but Carly denies it. Kim's startled by a knock at the door. Bob offers to get it, almost sure it's Susan. However, it's Katie. Katie whines to Kim that Lily fired her on a day she was having some personal problems and now, Lily refuses to give her her job back. Kim promises to talk to Lily about it and see what she can do. A few hours later, Paul and Will arrive to talk to Bob. They suggest opening a cancer center at Memorial so Barbara won't have to continually travel in her fragile state to seek treatment. Bob likes the idea and although he's on leave, he promises to give the idea to the board soon. Paul returns home and sees Meg is in better spirits. When Meg starts to talk about babies again, Paul tells Meg that maybe her miscarriage was a sign that they're not ready for children. Meg barks back that maybe her miscarriage is a sign that Rosanna's jealous and wants Paul to herself. Meg goes to run a quick errand, and while she's out, Paul starts thinking of Meg's pregnancy. Suddenly, he remembers something and makes a call, asking someone to meet him. Luke comes home and finds Noah pacing the floor. Noah, ridden with guilt still, tells Luke that they need to talk. Noah starts off that he and Luke have been through alot together, but when Luke starts gloating about their "perfect" love, Noah changes the subject. Luke, thinking it's a bit strange, calls him on it, but Noah insists that he just wanted Luke to know how much he loves him.
  8. Margo frets over Casey and shares her concerns with Tom. She explains how Casey willingly surrendered some sleeping pills he had tucked away somewhere, made mention of wanting to not need them anymore, and then revealed he's been spending time with Lyla. Tom sees it as Casey coming around, but Margo seems worried that this sudden recovery might be too sudden for Casey. Margo also worries about Lyla since Casey seemed to know something she didn't. Tom comforts her and offers to take off work the rest of the day. Margo refuses and goes back to work herself, still noticeably upset, worried about her family. When Casey returns from his job at Emma's, Tom shares a heart to heart with him and asks Casey to confide in him. Casey, however, clams up and goes to his room. Luke interrupts Lucinda's conference call and asks if she can spare some advice. Lucinda insists no business is more important than her grandson, issues a demanding order and a bitter goodbye to someone on the phone, hangs it up, and sits down with Luke. Luke tells about how Noah found out the landlord refused to let them rent an apartment because of his father being a killer. Lucinda asks how Noah took it and Luke replies that Noah hasn't been the same since. Noah refuses to talk to him and mostly watches TV and then goes to bed. Lucinda asks Luke if he's apologized and Luke says "countless times", but Noah just won't answer. Lucinda offers to talk to him, but Luke denies her offer. Lucinda says that she thinks all Noah needs is time and Luke needs to make it obvious that he still loves and supports Noah, no matter who his family is. Luke thanks Lucinda and leaves. At WOAK, Lily politely tells Katie "no" and walks off to tend to something else. Carly sneaks behind Katie and spooks her. Katie tells Carly to taunt her all she wants. Katie doesn't realize Carly now works at WOAK until Lily calls her over. Fuming, Katie decides to talk to Kim about all of this. Meanwhile, Lily tells Carly that she meant nothing personal when she hired Carly an assistant. She simply wanted to ensure that Carly would be able to leave work if the kids ever needed her and not have to halt any work. Carly says its fine, although she isn't too pleased with Jack for getting involved. As they step into the conference room, Lily introduces Carly to her assistant, Carrie. Susan and Alison meet Dusty at Al's for an update on Alison's stalker. Alison remains tight-lipped the whole time, only occasionally butting in to assure Dusty that she's fine and can handle her own self. Alison looks outside and sees Aaron motioning her outside. Outside, Alison hisses that Aaron must want to come tell another secret to Dusty and her mother. Alison asks Aaron how he could betray her trust like that just when they got back on track. Aaron insists that it was for Alison's best interest. Alison doesn't see it that way and accuses Aaron of still thinking of her as a porn star being admired by a fan rather than Alison Stewart being stalked by a pervert. Alison slaps Aaron, damning him to hell and telling him she never wants to see him again. She storms back inside, thankful when she realizes that Dusty and Susan saw nothing.
  9. Uh, let's see. 1. Mom stole something very valuable and then left them high and dry when she ran off with an Aussie. 2. Jack took up with Katie, the same woman who helped sabatoge their parent's happy marriage by exposing their mother in front of God and everyone. 3. J.J. was kidnapped and his parents had a few near death experiences trying to save him. 4. The same woman that helped the kidnappers became their mother's best friend and business partner. 5. Sam turned out to be a psycho that tried to kill Jack and Carly, but was shot dead by Parker. 6. Now, only two or three weeks after the accident, their father has quit his job and their mother is going to work. I'd say that they have just cause in beeing a little needy of Carly right now.
  10. The doctor gives Katie some good news and some bad news. The good news says that Katie's going to fine and will one day have children. The bad news is that Katie's reproductive system will be weakened by the treatments for the infection that she must undergo, hence halting her hopes of having a baby. Brad comforts Katie and takes her to Lyla's to lie down. While Katie sleeps, Lyla tells Brad that he's not going to get in her daughter's pants anytime soon, especially with her around. Katie pretends to still be asleep as Brad reveals to Lyla that he's not sticking around Katie because he wants to make a baby with her. He's sticking around because he loves her. Casey finds Margo at the police station and asks to speak with her. They enter the interrogation room and Casey hands over some pills. Casey says that he doesn't need them any more than he needs the whole town ridiculing hm. Margo asks what happened in prison that was so unbelievably horrific that it's totally changed Casey. Casey refuses to tell Margo and promises that he'll be alright. As Casey leaves, Margo's shocked when he reveals that he had a long talk with Lyla and it made him realize that life is too short. Margo says that Lyla told her the doctors had a good report for Lyla and things are looking up, but Casey's eyes tell Margo a different story. Dusty blasts into Lance's old production studio and finds it completely abandoned. A nearby homeless man tells Dusty that Lance's company tanked after he ran away with a buxom blonde porn star named Candy. When Candy found the photos he had taken of her kid sister, she flipped and killed him, coming back to hide his body in the abandoned studio. Dusty wonders aloud who could be Alison's stalker if it's not Lance and calls Susan. Susan can hardly talk on the phone thanks to a pushy hospital board member, but she assures Dusty they can talk tonight at her place. Lily thanks Carly for all her hard work and tells her to go home and spend some time with her kids. Before she leaves, Lily tells Carly about hiring Carly an assistant. Carly denies needing any help, but Lily reveals that after Jack called her, she realized how selfish it was (on Lily's part) to want her to start work so soon after the ordeal with Sam. Lily tells an argumentative Carly that it's settled and the new girl will start tomorrow. When Carly's unable to make a meeting or work on designs, her assistant can save the day. When Carly comes home, she fumes at Jack for telling Lily on her like a little kid. Jack insists that he thinks the more time she's home, the more time she can use to convince the kids she's there for them..now more than ever. Carly turns a questioning eye to Jack as he walks out the door to spend the night at Emma's for a change and give Carly time to cool down. Susan comes home and exhausted, sets down on the couch. She hardly notices when Dusty taps her arm. Dusty laughs and tells Susan that he knows she's tired, but this won't take long. Aaron's on his way, too. Susan starts to panic, worrying about Alison. Dusty assures her that Alison is fine. Aaron is dropping her off with Emily and she doesn't know a thing. Just as Dusty reveals to Susan that Alison has been getting mysterious messages from a Myspace pervert, Aaron busts through the door, holding an inquisitive Alison back as long as he can. Alison breaks free and sees the faces of Dusty, Aaron, and Alison. Alison herself begins to worry until Susan asks her about the Myspace messages. Alison's jaw hits the floor as she turns around to give Aaron a scathing glare that people in hell would think was punishment.
  11. At family dinner, Margo's concerned by Lyla's loss of appetite, but Lyla blames it on Katie's lack of culinary skills. All seem to laugh until Katie's laughs turn into tears. Lyla consoles her and tells her that everything will be fine. Later, Brad surprises Katie at the cottage with a bottle of wine and roses. Katie tells Brad that she can't make love to him. Brad understands and holds Katie as she frets hearing from the doctor tomorrow. Aaron is curious when he sees Alison making sure no one is following them as they shop. Aaron says she's been acting this way for quite some time and demands answers. Alison confesses about the perv that keeps sending her messages on Myspace. Alison begs Aaron not to say anything and he agrees. After Aaron goes to work at the Lakeview, he runs into Dusty. When Dusty asks about Alison, Aaron caves and tells Dusty all about her stalker. Dusty vows to get to the bottom of it and hops in his car. Kim goes to Java and finds Bob sulking in a corner booth. Bob tells her that he appreciates her letting him continue to see Susan as a friend and perhaps get over all this guilt and anger that's torn him up for so long, but he says Susan's been swamped at work and doesn't even have time for a cup of coffee. Kim flashes her cell phone and says that Lily's got things under control at WOAK so she's free all day. Kim suggests they take a walk and Bob can talk all he wants or not talk at all, if he'd like. Bob reluctantly agrees. Will, Gwen, and Paul arrive at the doctor's office without Barbara. Dr. Hilton tells them that everything they can do has been done. Barbara's going to have to go to a better facility than Oakdale Memorial. Paul blasts the doctor for giving up, but he denies he's doing anything of the sort. They simply don't have the technology that other cancer centers do. Paul agrees to use some of his money from B.R.O. to fund a state of the art cancer facility. Dr. Hilton continues that they would have to have board approval, to which Will replies that his great uncle is Chief of Staff, That shouldn't be a problem. Jack comes downstairs and finds Carly prepping for her first day of work. Sage comes down and asks Carly to help her with a project that's due tomorrow. Carly scolds Sage for waiting until the last minute, which sends her fleeing back up the stairs. Jack tells Carly that he knows how nervous she gets, but the last thing she needs to do is go back to work right now. The kids are just getting over her being gone and their family therapy is just starting to show improvement. Lily buzzes the doorbell before Carly can answer and she heads out the door. Jack goes upstairs and consoles Sage, blaming Carly's foul mood on her nervousness about her new job. Sage asks if Mommy's going to leave again, as we see Carly doubting her new job already.
  12. Casey startles Lyla when he walks in on her practicing her number. Casey tells Lyla that although her heath is fading, her voice sure isn't. Casey finally confesses after a quiet moment that he knows that Lyla passed out. Lyla pleads with Casey not to tell his mother. Casey promises to keep Lyla's secret. Lyla asks Casey how he's been doing and he replies that he thought he wanted Sofie, but the more he thinks about, the more he realizes that everyone's right. He just wants someone to fill the hole that was left by Maddie. Emma sets Meg down on the bed at the farm and advises her to get some rest. While Emma goes to get her some tea, Meg starts thinking about Paul and is determined to see him. Emma stops her as Meg starts down the stairs. Emma's pleading does no good as Meg walks out the front door anyways. At Paul's penthouse, Paul chastises Meg for being out. Meg cries that she's sorry that she miscarried their baby. Meg damns Rosanna for running her over, citing that she was just jealous that she couldn't have Paul to herself and jealous that Meg was carrying his child. Paul can't stand to think of Rosanna acting that way and tells Meg that he'll never forgive Rosanna. Later, Meg calls Rosanna while Paul showers. Rosanna see's Paul's number and answers excitedly, hoping he's found out the truth. Instead, she hears Meg snicker and yells at Meg that karma's a b!tch. Lucinda runs by Lily's and finds Lily leaving for work. Lily asks her mother what she wants and Lucinda apologizes for the way that she's been acting. Lily tells her mother that she knows she doesn't mean it, but thanks her for the thought. Lucinda retorts that Lily needs to quit living in the past, which sets Lily off. Later, Luke comes in for his first day of work and asks his mom for advice on Noah. Luke's worried that Noah took it hard the other day when he found out they were denied the apartment because of Colonel Mayer. Lily insists that Noah just needs time. Henry and Vienna return from their trip to Leonia to collect their money. Katie greets them as they enter the Lakeview, as she's headed for drinks with Alison. Henry explains how once they arrived in Leonia, it was revealed that Vienna's uncle was going bankrupt and instead of inheriting the millions he promised Vienna, they ended up only getting about $10,000 which they plan on using to construct Vienna's new business. Katie seems weary of the idea, citing how Vienna's last business tanked during construction. Henry asks how the baby-making is coming along and Katie crumbles, saying that an infection she has might lead to her being barren. Henry and Vienna issue their sympathies. Emily and Dusty finish eating at Mabel's. Dusty comments how he's glad to have Emily back in his arms and notices Emily acting distant. Susan comes in on her lunch break, and talks about how swamped the hospital has been. Susan's glad to see her daughters are finally on the right track and lays all the credit in Dusty. Dusty blushes, but tells Susan that she too had a hand in it. Later, Bob brushes past Susan in the hall. Susan tries to stop and talk, but a board member summons her to a financial meeting. When Bob returns home, Kim puts on a sympathizing smile when Bob talks about how busy Susan is.
  13. Emma tells Meg to tell her what she's smirking like that for. Meg turns around and denies that she was smirking. Meg simply says that she was smiling, thinking of how she never thought Emma would be here right now. Emma insists that Meg is her baby girl and she can't imagine not being here for Meg during this hard and difficult time. Meg talks about how Emma has never been a fan of Paul's. Emma explains that whatever makes Meg happy is what she wants, and if Paul makes her happy, Emma must deal with it. Paul returns from arguing with Rosanna and apologizes for being gone for so long. Emma watches as Paul and Meg hug and Rosanna looks in through the window. Lily tells Carly that she and Jack are meant to be together, but Carly tells Lily that she only knows one thing. She's glad Jack is still alive and she's not going to get her hopes up like she usually does. She's going to take things slowly, one day at a time. Jack and Holden interrupt the two, giving a hopeful update about Meg. As Holden and Jack get the women's coats to leave, Lily tells Carly she has the perfect job opportunity for her. Since Jack has quit the force and she knows Carly needs a job, Lily offers Carly a job as set designer at WOAK. Carly yelps in excitement and hugs Lily, thanking her profusely. Later, Carly tells Jack the good news, but Jack has reservations. He knows how badly Carly loves to work, but he also issues the painful reminder that her last business venture led to her canoodling with Simon and leaving her family behind. Carly realizes that he's afraid it might happen again. Carly wipes tears away and tells Jack she knew he wouldn't understand. Strolling by the Oakdale mini-mall, Alison and Aaron run into Emily. Alison asks Emily how her business trip went and Emily says that she's glad that she's back home after going away for a while and then visiting Daniel. Emily asks how Alison has been doing and notices stitches in Aaron's head. Aaron laughs and says that he gets them out tomorrow and recalls the story of thinking someone was after Alison. Alison continues to keep her mouth shut about the mysterious Myspace messages and is relieved from the quite tension when Emily runs off to meet Dusty at Mabel's for a quick bite. Nancy tells Kim that she's not fooling anyone by saying that she's allowing Bob to be friends with Susan. Kim half-way grins and tells Nancy that there's a catch. She's persuaded a good friend of hers on the hospital board to keep Susan running around the hospital so that she doesn't have any free time for Bob. Nancy tells Kim that it sounds like an old trick Lisa would play, but Kim tells Nancy that she's desperate to have her husband back to his normal slef, she knows that Susan isn't helping matters any, and she is convinced that Bob will be better off confiding in his wife instead of that tramp Susan. Nancy tells Kim she doesn't approve, but when Lisa comes over to join the ladies, Lisa thinks it's a marvelous idea. However, she warns Kim that this might backfire on her and leave Bob feeling even more betrayed. Lucinda, having a bad day, walks in on Casey apologizing to Sofie. Lucinda barks that Sofie needs to get to work and tells Casey that he's disrupted her staff long enough. Lucinda snaps that just because Casey got off thanks to his parents, she'll be damned if he makes her company suffer because of it. Lucinda calls Margo and tells of Casey coming over and interrupting Sofie on the job. Lyla offers to go with Margo to talk to Casey, although furious at Lucinda still for wrecking her dead son's memorial. Once there, Margo and Lyla get in a heated confrontation with Lucinda. Later, Casey tells Lyla what Lucinda said to him. Lyla returns to Lucinda's and lets her have it, saying that her grandson is a good man and she won't let Lucinda taint his name like she did Craig's. Lucinda argues that Craig did all the tainting of his own name all by himself and Casey will do the same if they don't watch him carefully. Back at her suite, Lucinda's words echo in Lyla's ears and she starts to feel dizzy. The next thing she knows, she's coming to from fainting. She grabs a glass of water, thankful that noone saw. She vows to keep it from her family, knowing how badly it would upset them. Meanwhile, Casey stands outside her door.
  14. Not so much "villain". Just bitchier...and with a backbone.
  15. The ultrasonic, piercing sound of his cell phone going off awakens Noah from his sleep. As he rolls over to get it, he remembers the night's events. All in a fog, he remembers flashes of making out with Carrie and having sex with her. Immediately regretting everything that happened, Noah slips his clothes on with shame and finds Chip. Chip laughs, saying that Noah and Carrie made quite the ruckus last night. Noah barks at Chip to just shut up and take him home. Noah asks where the girl went and Chip says she and some friends went to the ice skating rink. Happy to avoid an akward reunion with her, Noah hops in the truck with Chip. Later, Noah freezes with fear when Luke calls his name. Luke asks where he went and Noah makes up a lie. As Luke goes to his morning class at Oakdale U., he reminds Noah that he loves him and he's sorry to have hurt him. Afraid to conjure up any painful reminders, Noah quickly murmurs "love you too" and heads to take a shower. While checking out at Fashions, Lisa notes how big Hallie has gotten. Lisa seems worried when Gwen asks how Casey is, so Gwen tells her to forget she even asked. Just as Gwen starts to leave, Casey brushes past Gwen on the sidewalk. Casey thanks Gwen for her and her husband ruining things for him and Sofie. Gwen tells Casey that Sofie just got out of a very painful relationship and may be weary of Casey at first, especially since they don't really know each other too well. Casey, determined to prove everyone wrong, marches to Lucinda's and after some begging, is able to get Sofie released from work early. The two arrive at Al's for a breakfast date, where Casey seems determined to find out all he can about Sofie. Sofie, still unsure about Casey, apologizes and asks if they can go. In the truck, tension builds between the two and Sofie finally lets her guard down. As Sofie starts to take off her bra and Casey starts to take off his pants, Casey freezes. Sofie tries to read some expression (fear, regret, happiness) from his face, but it's almost like his flesh has been replaced by some colorless wood, null of texture and color...expressionless, empty. Casey says he can't do this and takes Sofie back. Later, Casey stands outside on the roof and looks below, almost daring himself to jump, but in the end, knowing he can't ever possibly do it. Lily thanks Carly for seeing her on such short notice as the two sit down at the Lakeview bar and order mamosas. The two briefly talk about their own opinions about Meg and the tragedy that's befallen her. Carly shifts the subject to Holden and Lily. Lily sighs and explains that everything is alot better, but she could do without her mother constantly pressuring Holden to persuade Lily into seeing Craig "how he really was". Lily explains that she only wants to remember the man Craig was. She doesn't know if she could survive knowing that the man she once knew and loved had turned into something so vile and despicable like others say he was. Carly, from experience, tells Lily that Craig was a very layered character. He could make you love him one minute, but another, and you were plotting a way to make him pay. Carly asserts that sometimes you have to accept people's flaws to truly appreciate their better side. She knows from experience, since Jack used to only see her as a lying, scheming b!tch. Lily realizes Carly's right, but doesn't know if she can ever accept, and thus forgive, the hurt and pain that Craig caused. Carly assures her she can. Lily asks about Jack and tells Carly that now is the time to tell Jack how she feels and possibly work things out. Carly, however, isn't too sure. Bob, Kim, and Nancy all sit around the dinner time eating breakfast together for the first time in a long time. Nancy sees that Bob leaving Susan alone must have paid off, but Kim regretfully informs her that she's allowing Bob and Susan to keep each other company. Bob, stunned himself, asks Kim when she decided it was okay, especially after the scene she made with Susan at the Mona Lisa. Kim reasons that Bob is her husband, whom she loves deeply and would do anything for. And if "doing anything for" requires letting Bob seek comfort in his friend, then she's going to swallow her pride and accept it. She wants Bob to be able to accept the fact that Chris never meant to hurt anyone, and she longs for Bob to seek that acceptance with her. However, Susan has been a long time confidante and colleague of his for years. She trusts him enough to let him continue being friends with Susan. Later, after Bob goes for a walk, Nancy tells her that it was a nice try, but she should really work on her acting skills. She hasn't convinced anyone. Out in the waiting room, Emma returns with muffins and bagles for Paul, Will, Barbara, Holden, and Jack. Paul asks what's taking so long for the nurses to finish with Meg. Emma reminds Paul that Meg has been through a very traumatic experience and needs all the rest she can get. She reminds him that his doting on Rosanna's blame for the accident caused Meg to get too worked up and the nurses are stabilizing her. Emma turns and sees Barbara, exhausted, fading to sleep. With a nudge, she thanks Barbara for her concern for Meg, but assures that Meg and Paul will be just fine. As Will escorts Barbara home like Emma asked, Jack notices that Barbara's treatment has sure slowed her down. Holden compliments Jack on his leg healing so quickly. Jack comments that it won't be too long before he'll move out of Carly's and look for a place of his own. Paul returns from seeing Meg and tells Emma it's her turn. Going outside for a fresh breath, Paul doesn't believe his eyes when he sees Rosanna crossing the parking lot, coming towards him. Paul barks at Rosanna to leave, she's caused enough pain. Meanwhile, inside, Emma notices Meg watching Paul and Rosanna argue through her window. A slight smirk comes across her face and Emma says, "Alright, missy. Tell me what it is. Tell me what you're up to now."
  16. Casey comes home and finds Tom and Margo waiting in the living room for him. Casey ignores their presence, but they order him to sit. Margo says that it's been brought to their attention that Casey has been relentlessly pursuing Sofie and they find it very unhealthy to be pursuing someone so soon after being released. Margo lectures that she thinks Casey should focus on getting mentally in-shape, going to school, whatever...before he tries to think about love. Casey tells his parents that the only thing keeping him sane is Sofie, which Tom attributes to the absence of Maddie from his life. Casey flinches at the name and says that he's better off without her. Margo and Tom are shocked by Casey's cruel words and excuse him. Upstairs, Casey comes across an old photo of him and Maddie and rips it to shreds. Lucinda and Holden converge around Lily on the couch. Lily remains worries about Ethan, almost bolting from her seat everytime she hears him murmur over the baby monitor. Lucinda pleads with Lily to relax and Holden offers to stay on watch tonight. Lucinda brings up Ethan's illness as Lily goes to check on him to calm her own fears. Lucinda confides in Holden that she knows that Lily's worried and with just cause. Ethan would have never had these health problems had it not been for Craig, but she keeps punishing herself. Holden agrees, just as Lily rounds the corner. Lily yells at Lucinda and Holden that they must truly be happy to see that Ethan has fallen sick because of Craig's schemes. Perhaps, she explains, now that can wait with baited breath for Lily to change her mind about the kind of man she saw Craig as. Holden tries to pacify her, but she continues. "Well, it's not gonna happen!" she yells. Carly brings Rosanna some coffee as they wait for word on Meg. Rosanna recalls Meg flinging herself on the car, and haunted by it, seems almost sorry that she was going to tell Paul the truth. Carly asks about Paul, but Rosanna says the only time he spoke to her was when he hollered at her when they brought Meg in. The doctor comes in and speaks with Paul privately. Paul crumbles, screaming "No! Not again!" Carly remembers hearing of Emily miscarrying Paul's child and realizes that Meg must have miscarried as well. Rosanna tells Carly that it's impossible. The lab technician that she hired has been a trusted friend of hers for years and slaved over the results of the lab work Rosanna had done. Meg was never pregnant, she insists. As Paul approaches with teary eyes, he asks Rosanna if she's happy now. Meg has miscarried. Rosanna stands shocked, exchanging glances between a furious Paul and the doctor walking away. Rosanna chases the doctor down and demands to see some sort of proof. The doctor offers the lab work concerning the removal of the fetus and drops her mouth wide open. "Meg WAS pregnant. How can this be?" Rosanna stares in disbelief as Paul charges out of the hallway and into Meg's room. Luke goes by Al's and asks if anyone has seen Noah. Aaron catches up with him outside and offers to help look, but Luke says that when Noah gets mad like this, he runs off for a while and comes back. Luke reasons that Noah will be back soon and departs for home. Meanwhile, Noah runs into an old friend, Chip Harrison, who tells him that there's a party at the old mill. Noah reluctantly agrees to go. On the ride there, Chip tells of a rumor he heard that Noah was gay. Noah denies that he'd ever be gay and tells Chip to look at him. "Do I look gay?" he jokes. As he turns his head back towards the window, guilt swells his heart and with a breath only the pathetic can make, he wipes away the thought that he just denied himself and his boyfriend to an old friend, merely out of anger against Luke that all came about because of his murderous father. As they pull up at the party, Noah greets some old friends, in town for a hockey game. Chip introduces him to his friend Carrie [played by Martha Madison]. Noah asks what brings Carrie to Oakdale as a drunken Carrie rowdily replies, "How 'bout those Buffalo Sabres!!!" As everyone cheers, Chip nudges Noah with a beer, which he grabs and quickly drinks.

  18. A new day dawns as everyone gathers at Fairwinds for Meg's baby shower. Meg appears in the best of spirits, despite having to show thanks to Paul's urging. Carly arrives and brings Sage, who presents her Aunt Meg with a sweet, sentimental gift. Later, Sage runs to grab her camera from the car to take pictures of the event. Over at Barbara's, Gwen comes in and thanks Barbara for agreeing to see her. Gwen tells Barbara that she knows that she and Iris once struck up an alliance and although all of Barbara's deeds are in the past and Will and Gwen have forgiven her, Gwen says that she wants Barbara to check up on Iris, just released from rehab, and see if she has plans to return to Oakdale. Barbara agrees and Gwen confides that she doesn't want Iris to come back to town; she just wants to know that her mother's alright. Carly pulls Rosanna to the side and asks what she's up to. Rosanna confides that after today, everyone will realize the lying, scheming little b!tch Meg Snyder actually is. Carly, thinking that Rosanna's resentment towards Meg must be because of her inability to have children, warns her sister to be careful. Carly keeps her mouth shut in regards to why she thinks Rosanna hates Meg so much. As Susan turns around from clocking in at work, she comes face to face with Kim. Kim demands that Susan stay as far away from Bob as possible, especially in his fragile state. Susan replies that Bob isn't fragile. He's angry, and reasonably so. The last thing he needs while he's dealing with his anger towards his son is his wife offering to take him to see Chris in jail. Kim is shocked that Bob told her such a private detail from their home life and defends herself, citing that maybe seeing Chris in jail and talking with him might have snapped Bob into reality and showed him that Chris made a mistake and still loves his father unconditionally. Susan scoffs at it all and tells Kim that as she sees it, they need to make a truce. It's obvious that Bob is only reasonable and less moody when around Susan, for whatever the reason. Emma comes in and brings Meg a family heirloom. Katie doesn't come, but sends a gift. Lily arrives late with Ethan in tow. Lily says that she hasn't been able to get Meg a gift yet, but Meg smiles, saying that her being there with her healthy nephew in tow, is all she needs. Emma comments that Barbara's not in attendance and neither is Paul. Meg explains that Paul is home with the flu and Barbara is recovering from treatment. Rosanna calls everyone's attention. Meg sees that Rosanna is about to present her with a gift and excuses herself. Rosanna chases after her as the two women argue outside. Kim scolds that she can understand Bob in reasons Susan never will, not even in the sack. Susan almost slaps Kim, but holds herself back and tells Kim that she's going to continue to be there for Bob to lean on, because she's obviously the only one that Bob can relate to right now. Kim tearfully, angrily protests that Bob is her husband and he should feel comfortable around her. Susan replies that right now, he doesn't. Susan explains that all she wants to do is be there for him. She tells Kim that she doesn't give a dam what Kim thinks about it....she's helping a friend who needs her. Kim storms off and later comments to Lisa that Susan sure does have some nerve and snaps that Bob won't have another thing to do with Susan if she has anything to say about it. Rosanna confesses that she gave Meg a papercut on purpose and stuffed the bloody tissue in her purse. She sent it off to a lab and her good friend, a doctor, confirmed exactly what Rosanna knew all along. Meg isn't pregnant at all. Meg smirks and tells Rosanna that her petty attempts for attention are pathetic. Paul, she says, only has eyes for Meg. He could care less about Rosanna and besides his drunken tryst with her, he can't stand the thought of Rosanna when he's with Meg. Rosanna opens her gift to Meg, revealing the lab results from the bloody tissue. Rosanna exclaims that she has a great idea. Why don't they both go show Paul the results and see what he says. As Rosanna starts to drive off to confront Paul with the news that his girlfriend really isn't pregnant like she claims, Meg flings herself on the hood of the car. Rosanna slams on the brake, sending Meg crashing down to the ground. The ladies all scurry out as Rosanna hovers above an unconcious Meg.
  19. Noah arrives at the landlord's room just as Luke comes running around the corner. The landlord answers his door as Luke pleads with Noah not to do this. Noah asks the landlord what exactly the letter meant and the landlord snickers that he should ask his boyfriend. As the landlord slams the door, Luke breaks it to Noah that the landlord refused them a room not because they're gay but because Colonel Mayer was a killer and he (as well as the other tenants) feared Noah was, too. Noah stands in shock and in a rage, runs off as Luke chases after him. Sofie argues with Casey that she barely knows him and seems to find something new about him everday, but yet, he still wants to date her. Sofie tells Casey that they just need to be friends and nothing more. When Casey tells Sofie to get lost, she happily obliges. Later, Casey runs into Gwen and thanks her for ruining his shot with Sofie. Gwen apologizes, saying that she didn't know Sofie didn't know about Maddie and plus, she never knew he and Sofie were an item. Lily watches Ethan play in his crib and remembers the fear that she had when she learned Etah had become sick due to the tainted baby food. Lily blames herself for not knowing enough about the company, but remembers Craig's persuading caused her doubt to subside. Holden comes in and asks Lily how things are going. Lily asks Holden if he thinks she's to blame for the baby food incident and for Ethan getting sick. Holden says he doesn't know but he does know one thing. He's glad Ethan is okay now. As Lisa points to Bob and Susan, Kim sniffles. Lisa tells Kim that she thought she should know. After all, Bob hasn't been in his right mind lately. Kim defends Bob, saying he would never go down that road again, but thanks Lisa for her concern. Lisa notes how obviously distraught Kim is and offers to send Susan on a wild goose chase. Kim snickers, but tells Lisa that she can deal with her own husband. Kim approaches the table and tells Susan that she warned her once, and she's not warning her again. Later, Bob scolds Kim for making such a scene. Kim tells Bob that she's losing him more and more every day and she doesn't know if she can handle it. Jack hobbles to the kitchen to fix himself a sandwhich. Carly comes in and almost bragging, tells Jack about her run in with Katie. Jack says that Katie has always wanted children and if she wants something bad enough, she'll make sure she gets it. Carly tells Jack that frankly, as long as it's not with Jack, she doesn't care who Katie has children with. Jack takes Carly's statement as Carly being jealous, but Carly insists she's not. She's just glad that Jack finally realized how Katie was before it was too late.
  20. That's the point Sofie's trying to make. Casey's all gung-ho about dating her, but she's basically throwing stuff in his face like "Look, I didn't know THIS about you...but yet you want us to be together?" She's kinda put off by it all. She just met Casey and he's already attached to her. In a way, it kind of scares her why this guy she just met is so deadset on being with her. But I think she tries to see the good in him just so she can say "Hey, we can't be together because I don't know you that well, but we can still be friends."
  21. Before Luke can even make it all the way in the door, Noah confronts him about the letter. He shows Luke the letter and Luke immediately starts making excuses. Noah seems to believe the excuses being made until Luke contradicts Lucinda's excuse. Noah demands to know what's going on. Luke pleads for Noah to calm down, but Noah knows something fishy is going on. Determined to find out the truth, Noah heads to the landlord's room. Gwen explains to Sofie that Maddie was her best friend but is now attending college out of state. Sofie innocently asks if she was seeing anyone and Gwen's reluctance to answer tells Sofie just what she wanted to know. Sofie heads to Casey's where she angrily scolds ihm for hiding another thing from her. First, he left out the part about going to prison and now, he leaves out the part about dating Maddie and breaking up with her while in prison. Sofie asks why Casey would break up with someone that, from what she's heard, he was head over heels in love with if he knew he was about to be released? Katie stirs around in her purse. Realizing she left her keys on the front cashier counter at Fashions, Katie turns around and comes face to face with Carly. Katie immediately puts on a sympathetic face and asks about Jack, but Carly tells her to save her acting skills for another day. Carly tells Katie that she knows that she doesn't give a damn about Jack or his son or she would have been over the minute she heard of the shooting. So therefore, the point Katie was trying to make to Jack for so long about caring for him and his family as her own should they get married, is null and void. Carly stomps off, but not before wishing Katie luck that she gets knocked up by Brad. After all, her lifelong dream has always been to help herself to Carly's exes. Susan comes home from a stressful day at work and sees that neither Alison nor Emily are home. Susan finds a note that says to be at the Mona Lisa at a quarter until seven. Dressed up and expecting her daughters, Susan enters and finds Bob sitting at the table. Bob compliments Susan on the way she looks, but Susan tells Bob that this whole dinner seems very appropriate. Bob gets testy, saying that he doesn't gave a damn what others think. He would like to have lunch with his friend. Later, as Susan giggles and Bob talks, Lisa takes notice and tells Kim to bring her toosh right over if she wants to keep her man.
  22. Luke goes by WOAK and is surprised to see his mom there. Lily says that she just came by to pick up something that she left the other day and is about to return to the house. Luke asks if Kim's in and Lily asks why Luke's there. Luke wondered if he could have a job sorting papers or something. Lily agrees to talk with him about it later and invites him by the house to see Ethan. Luke agrees to go get Noah and they'll be by shortly. Casey presses "send" on his phone one more time, trying to contact Sofie. Sofie looks down at her phone and hits "ignore" to "Casey Calling" one more time. Gwen comes behind her and startles her. Sofie asks how Hallie is doing and Gwen says she's doing fine. Sofie once again makes it known to Gwen that she very much wants to be involved in Hallie's life. Gwen agrees and asks how Sofie is. Sofie musters up a "fine" until she hears Gwen talking on the phone to Maddie. As Gwen laughs that she'll send pictures of Hallie soon and hangs up, Sofie turns around and asks Gwen how she knows Maddie. Barbara stops by Bob and Kim's and is relieved to see her aunt is home. Kim welcomes her in with open arms, but is soon put back in a bad mood when Barbara asks where Bob is. Kim replies that Bob is doing a little better. Barbara asks how Chris is doing and Kim explains that he's miserable, but the thing that upsets him the most is hearing of Bob. Barbara sympathizes with her, saying that she knows how it feels to feel like the whole world is against you. Brad arrives on set and sees Katie getting make-up. He asks if she's heard about Vienna and Henry, but Katie beats him to the chase. Brad asks how come girls always get first listen to juicy gossip, but he asks how come he's always the last to know. Katie giggles and asks how Jack is. It throws Brad that she's asking about her soon-to-be-ex-husband, but Katie reasons that she heard from Margo that he's quitting the force. Brad says that he didn't know any of this because the last time he saw them, Carly gave him the riot act. When Katie asks why, Brad says nothing. Katie hurls a powder brush at Brad and screams, "You told them, didn't you? You told them we were trying to have a baby! I should've known.." Her voice trails off as Katie marches onto the set, sits in front of the camera, snarls at Brad, and fakes a smile as she goes on air. Meg gets a call from Rosanna. Meg stops what she's doing and tells Rosanna that it's done with...she's nabbed Paul and there's nothing Rosanna can do. Rosanna reacts amusingly to Meg's yelling and says that she knows she's messed up and wants to make it up to her. Rosanna tells her that she is hosting her a baby shower at the end of the week. Meg refuses to go, but later, when she talks of Rosanna latest "scheme", Paul tells Meg that it's best if they go to appease Rosanna. Later, Paul looks longingly at a picture of Rosanna as the camera fades to Rosanna toasting in the air to her victory. "Soon, that little bitch Meg will get exactly what she deserves and I'll have my man back," she vows.
  23. It truly is heartbreaking to hear this. I wasn't an avid reader of the blog, but I did peak in every now and then. I had a working relationship with you two, as I made banners for the blog well up until mid-to-late 2007. I know exactly how it feels to be at a loss for ideas and to feel as though all the stories you could imagine have been done..by you or by someone else. I know how the disappearing essence of fun and creativity can seem to get you down at times. It will be sad to see Salem Lives end, but I wish the best for both you and Roman.
  24. Lily and Holden learn from Susan that Ethan is fine now, but the breathing complications might continue to be a problem in the future. Lucinda damns Craig to hell for what he did with the baby food scheme, but Lily takes the blame. Lucinda tells her that even though Sierra is trying to rid Montega of insurgents, even she has a safer life now without Craig in it. Lily raises her hand to slap Lucinda for her harsh words, but Lucinda grabs Lily's arm and tells her that it'll be the biggest mistake she's ever made. Lily yanks her hand away and rushes after Holden and Ethan as they leave the hospital. Margo approaches Tom's office and finds him busy with a client. She waits until the client has left and proceeds to ask Tom what he thinks about the whole Katie situation. Tom shares the same opinion that Margo and Lyla do, but Tom reminds his wife that it's all up to Katie in the end. Margo shocks Tom when she announces that Jack has quit the force. Stunned, Tom also understands that Jack needs time to himself and his family. However, Margo still isn't coping well with the news. Lucinda returns to her house and calls Luke, leaving him a message about Ethan. As Lucinda ends the call, Andrew comes in and announces Mr. Mayer's presence at the front door. Lucinda sends for Noah and he comes in shortly. Noah hands Lucinda the letter and asks exactly what it means. Lucinda calmly replies that in the agreement with the landlord, she agreed to pay their first month's rent. Noah wonders why, but thanks Lucinda anyways. After Noah leaves, Lucinda breathes a sigh of relief. Standing beside a crate of flowers on the street, Casey hurriedly gives the attendant some money and sneaks up behind Sofie with some flowers. The two almost kiss, but Casey turns around and ushers Sofie to follow him. As they approach a bird's eye view of the city, Sofie's phone rings and she has to leave for work. Casey understands and watches as she goes. Later, while cleaning, Lucinda notices Sofie's flowers and asks where she got them. Sofie replies Casey, to which Lucinda asks "Wasn't he dating Maddie Coleman a few months ago? Right before he went to prison?" Despite Kim's protests, Bob appears at Memorial and asks Susan to grab some lunch with him. Susan talks of how stressed she has been and how Ethan Snyder fell ill again. Bob promises Susan that she can handle it...she's a good doctor. Bob informs Susan that Kim knows he's been spending time with her. He talks of how hypocritical it seems that they want him to deal with his anger and guilt, but yet they oppose any help that Susan is to him. Susan snarls at the mention of Kim and makes a vow to herself that she's helping her friend...and she'll be damned if Kim tries to stop her.
  25. Rousing in her sleep, Vienna almost doesn't notice the boquet of a dozen roses on her bedside table. She wonders who they could be from as she opens the card. "Good morning gorgeous. Meet me at Oakdale Square. 10 am" Vienna looks over at the clock and sees it's 9:30. She scurries about, trying to find her bearings and find some clothes. As she dresses, she wonders who the flowers are from and who she's about to come face to face with. Little does she know... Henry paces around Oakdale Square. Katie calms him down over the phone and tells him that she has to go. They're about to come back from commercial. "She'll be there, Henry. Don't worry. I made sure they were delivered before I left for work," she promises. As Henry closes his phone, he looks across the square at a small office. In faint white paint, he can see the sign on the door. "Horris Brown, Justice of the Peace". Luke moves the cereal box to reveal Noah's doting eyes crounching near a bowl of Apple Jacks. Luke laughs as he dabs milk off of Noah's chin. The sexual tension between the two becomes too much to bear as they head to the bedroom. Noone notices when an envelope slides under the door. Jack hobbles to the door and finds Margo on the other side. Margo leans in and asks if Jack's adapting well to his crutches. Jack looks back at the crutches, almost dusty, leaning against the fireplace. Margo tells Jack that if he wants to get back to work, he's going to have to man up and take care of himself. As Carly strolls into the room, Jack ushers Margo in and reveals that he called her over for a reason. "Margo, I won't be coming back to the force." Vienna catches a cab and heads to Oakdale Square. As she hands the driver a $20, she looks across the way and notices a black figure bent over on a bench with roses in their hand. As the person moves, she realizes it's someone bearing roses for their loved one. Behind the figure, she sees another and another. But no familar face catches her eye. The mystery building, Vienna's skin tenses when she feels a cold hand upon her shoulder and a familiar voice in her ear. Margo asks what Jack means. "You've been with the force for a long time now. Why would you just wanta give something like that up," she badgers. Jack explains that the whole ordeal with Sam just convinced him of something that he's been questioning ever since he slipped off the bridge with Starziak. Had it not been for Jack joining the force, he might have never lost his family. Margo chuckles and mentions that if it hadn't been for the force, he would have never met Carly and fell in love with her. Nor would he have met J.J. and welcomed him into the family as their own. Carly eyes Jack from across the table at the mention of their once flourishing romance. Jack crouches in his chair. Noah yelps in excitement as Luke topples onto the bed beside him. Breathlessly, Noah laughs at the fact that a few months ago, this only seemed like a fantasy. Luke smiles and leans in, his chin tickling Noah's bare chest. Luke explains that he has to go see about a job today and asks if Noah would like to come with him. Noah declines his offer, citing that as nice of an apartment as it is, he could deal without the fuschia colored bathroom. It needs painting. Both get dressed and head back into the main room. Noah kisses Luke goodbye. As the door closes, Noah notices an envelope on the floor. Not addressed, he curiously starts to open it. Vienna turns around and sighs a happy breath when she feels Henry's tender lips caressing her own. Vienna asks what's gotten into him and Henry tells her that he won't talk until he knows that she is his forever. Henry hugs her from behind as he eyeballs the Justice's office. Vienna squeals with delight. "I thought you'd never ask," she sighs. Henry tells her that a good friend pointed out that he had too good of a thing to let it just slip away. Henry reveals that Katie let it slip about her uncle's situation. He goes on to say that he knows that he could never afford her the life she's accustomed to and he loves her enough to want her to be happy. Vienna grins with delight as she and Henry exchange romantic, heartfelt vows. Realizing they don't have any witnesses, they're able to pester a hot dog stand attendant and a nearby shopper to sign for them. Henry wraps Vienna in his arms and kisses her with all the strength his heart will allow as the Justice announces them Mr. & Mrs. Henry Coleman. Jack explains that he's had enough of chasing the bad guys. He needs to provide for his family, yes, but he also needs to be there for them, especially after such a tragic chaos that happened with Parker shooting Sam. Carly backs Jack up as he tells Margo that his family needs him now more than ever. Jack points out that Parker killed a man to protect his parents. His father's tragic death at the hands of a juvenille bearing a gun might complicate Parker's understanding of the true heroicism of his actions and Jack and Carly need to be there for him. Margo sheds a tear as she recounts some of the close times she and Jack have shared on the force. Jack hands her his badge as Margo walks out the door. Carly kisses Jack on the cheek and thanks him for doing the right thing. Noah opens the letter and sees the letterhead bears the same name of the apartments that he and Luke were denied entry into, but were eventually accepted into thanks to Lucinda. As he reads the letter, his eyebrows scrunch. What does this mean? Noah lays the letter down on the table and phones Lucinda as the camera pans to the letter. "Dear Mr. Snyder, I have tried unsuccessfully to reach Ms. Walsh at the phone number that she provided me with. Please inform your grandmother that her payment, as she agreed to, is due by the end of this month. Thank you".
