John makes a shocking discovery

MCKINNONS HOUSE

Marley finds Vicky in a seemingly familiar place…Michele’s bedroom.

Marley: Vicky?

Vicky: Just…remembering my daughter. She and I were going to go take a trip to wherever she decided she wanted to go to school. She was leaning toward Harvard. I miss her so much Marley.

Marley: I know. I can’t imagine what you’re going through right now.

Vicky: So much potential, so many dreams, that Michele will never realize. It’s not fair.

Marley: It’s not…but you still have a daughter who loves you. Have you thought about making amends with her?

HOTEL

Jake walks through a hall, and spots a housekeeping associate. He walks up to the person and bumps into them purposely, causing some cards to fall out of their pocket, one of which is a master key, which Jake swipes quickly. “Sorry.” He says. He looks to make sure the associate turns the corner before he makes a beeline to Allen’s room.

HUDSONS HOUSE

Paulina, Dante, and Bridget bring Sharlene in and manage to get her on the couch, and John comes downstairs.

John: Sharlene? Paulina? What happened?

Dante: She didn’t look right.

Bridget: She was sweating.

Paulina: She was at Grant’s press conference in the center.

John sits next to his wife on the couch.

John: Sharlene? Honey?

Sharlene: John?

John: I’m right here honey. Tell me what happened.

Sharlene: I remember. I know who shot Grant. Paulina, he killed your husband.

Paulina (amazed): You seem a little disoriented. Maybe you need to rest.

Sharlene: I remember! I know what I saw Paulina!

John: Did you see his face?

Sharlene: I saw his eyes. I’m so sorry. I…I didn’t see his face.

Sharlene begins to get upset.

Bridget: I’ll get her some water.

John flashes back to telling Dr. Taylor that he doesn’t want Sharlene remembering anything about the day Grant was shot.

John: I’m gonna…go to the center and see if I can come up with anything.

Paulina: I’ll stay with Sharlene.

John: I won’t be gone long.

CAMERA PAN ON JOHN….CUT TO THEME SONG

Vicky: How did I know this was going to come back to Bridget?

Marley: Because it’s the reason your marriage is in trouble.

Vicky: Don’t remind me.

Marley: I will be here as long as you need me, but you really need Jake, and Bridget. They are your family.

Vicky: I’m not ready to let Bridget back in this house. I don’t want to see her scheming, and plotting.

Marley: She’s your DAUGHTER Vicky. She’s not some stranger. She made some mistakes, and I know deep down you love her, and the quicker you resolve things with her, the quicker your marriage will get back on track.

Vicky: Jake texted me.

Marley: He’s back?

Vicky: Yes, but he still hasn’t told me that he wants to come home.

Jake is in Allen’s room with a flashlight, looking for evidence. “Damn. Gotta find something.” He says to himself. He knocks a paper off of the dresser, and sees something that catches his eye…a bill.

Jake: Pinehaven Hospital?

Sharlene comes to…

Sharlene: John?

Paulina: He went out.

Sharlene: Did he say where he was going?

Paulina: He said he was going to the Center.

Sharlene: I gotta call him.

Paulina: No I said I’d stay here with you until he got back.

Sharlene: What happened?

Paulina: You became disoriented at the Center, and Dante, Bridget and I brought you back here.

Sharlene: Anything else?

Paulina: You said something about you ‘seeing his eyes’, that this guy killed my husband.

Sharlene: I said that?

Paulina: Yeah you did.

Sharlene: The last thing I remember was leaving the house, and going to the Center. The next thing I’m waking up here.

Paulina: You don’t remember anything about what you said?

Sharlene (shaking her head): No. Nothing. Paulina, what’s going on?

John is at Dr. Taylor’s office.

John: Dr. Taylor I thought we had an agreement that Sharlene was not gonna remember anything. She is highly upset by her memories and I don’t want to see her like that.

John gets no response.

John: Dr. Taylor?

John goes over and turns his chair around, and discovers that Dr. Taylor sitting in the chair unresponsive. John checks his pulse. “My God, he’s dead.” He says to himself.
